I cannot say enough good things about Pat and his team at Drain-EEZ plumbing. I had an issue with the water leaking from the washer water line pipe at my two flat. I reached out to several companies and one that came for an estimate quoted a ridiculous amount and also did not do a thorough check on the issue.

Pat was really responsive and even if I did not go with his company he gave me his thoughts. Pat was really busy at the time and I did not mind waiting for his services. He and his crew came and accessed it thoroughly and determined that I needed a peet trap installed which would help with the leak and sewer gas smell. All the issues we are fixing from a seller who sold us a house with lot of bad repairs.

Pat fixed it within an hour and the project was reasonable. Thank you Pat and team!

This guy will approach your building suggesting to fix something for you. Do an absolutely horrible job then ghost you! Bad service, bad work, and bad person! Avoid at all costs. Happy to provide evidence for those that would like to dodge a bullet.

We called Rescue Plumbing when our kitchen sink started clogging up. To avoid an overtime call out fee, we scheduled an appointment for the next day. Thee guys were super nice and polite. They actually could have come earlier than the scheduled window but it didn't work for us unfortunately.

What really stood out for me was they came prepared with shoe covers that they slipped on before entering the house; protects our floors  and they don't need too remove their snow boots! I thought that was great!

They snaked our pipe, made sure it was working properly again and did a great job cleaning up and leaving things as they were. Overall, we were very satisfied. Thank you!!

Scotty did an outstanding job. He was very easy to communicate with when it came time to schedule the visit. He was prepared and he was on time (in fact he was even early for the follow up visit). He did a good job and explained things very clearly. The prices were very fair and more clearly communicated than other local plumbers we spoke with for our sink issue.

All and all, no complaints, would highly recommend him.

This winter some of our pipes froze when it dipped below zero outside. On a day where this was probably very common, Windy City came out that afternoon and thawed the pipes. They came early enough that no pipes burst, and their fee was reasonable. It was $250 per frozen pipe for two plumbers. We had three pipes *soft cries* We would use them again for any plumbing problems. It took the dudes probably 2.5 hours and this included cutting into drywall (non exposed pipes)

quoted an outrageous price before understanding the issue.  when i sent supporting information requesting they proceed with 2 simple fixes before completely changing out my mixer, they never contacted back.

seems like most yelp plumbers are fishing for someone who they can scam.

Honest, prompt, ready for emergencies, skilled, everything we've needed. We've worked with J Sewer several times now.

The first time we had water coming through our unit ceiling. Other companies tried to charge us quadruple the price and change the whole system. J Sewer found the root of the problem, was honest and said we didn't need to change the whole thing, and fixed our pipe quickly and we haven't had a leak since!!

The second time we needed a sink unclogged on a short notice. J Sewer came out, unclogged the sink extremely quickly and are an absolute pleasure to work with (they worked with my parents here while I was away and my parents love them).

Finally we had what we thought was a serious clog in our basement sink and we were out of town so they came on short notice and got in via our lockbox instructions. I feel bad for wasting their time, but because they're absolutely 150% honest great people they told us it was simply the drain stopper at the bottom of the clogged sink blocking the passage of the water.....I feel dumb but I'm grateful these guys are so nice to come out and address it!

Long story short, whether it's a bigger job like a pipe being busted, or a simple sink clog, these are our go to plumbers, amazing work and great honest people. I highly recommend them to everyone for your plumbing needs!

Amazing professional and friendly service. Eric came out and took care of our shower valve issue, as well as fixing a couple things in the other bathroom. Very neat and clean service, did not leave a mess at all. Even took his shoes off right away and played with our excited puppy. This is a company you can trust.

They were WONDERFUL! Super communicative over Yelp and the phone; fixed our kitchen sink drain VERY quickly after another company came and failed (and tried to get me to do all sorts of extra other work); were super neat, conscientious, and careful; and were lovely to work with. We're asking them to do other work for us, too. As they walked around looking at our house to help do the estimates, they advised us on different approaches to save money and for better effect. Really loved this company.

I like i got a Quote on Yelp instead of being told they cant give a price without someone coming to the house and then you are potentially wasting days and then you get a too high quote but feel pressured to go with them, so when i got a quote from ABV and thought it fair i made a appointment and they came the next day.

Very professional service. You know one thing is for a professional to provide service but when a professional explains the process so you understand why the service is being done. Then goes above and beyond to explain how it is done so you can know how to do it yourself is also a plus in my eyes. Juan is great! I've used A&Y twice, once to replace a toilet and once to fix a faucet leak. Both times Juan was able to come out and take a look within the next day. We had a water heater shut off in a 15 unit building. Apex made the repair easy. Office staff was great, and our technician Geoff was fantastic. Clear communication, fast work, and even gave follow up consultation on a Saturday evening when questions came up. Excellent service.

I can't say enough great things about Jan and his company, Vanguard Plumbing.  In simple terms, he is not only the best plumber that I have ever worked with, I would go further and say that he is the best trades-person with whom I have dealt.  He really deserves all the highest ratings he gets on various review services.

First, he provides great service.  He is easily accessible and responds to calls very promptly by phone or e-mail.  He provides clear and comprehensive quotes listing the prices he will charge for a project.  The quote is backed up by a written confirmation.   He is flexible on scheduling and keeps the customer posted as to his timing on appointment days.

Of course, I hired him for his plumbing skill, pricing and integrity.  All are top notch.  His prices are vey reasonable.  He is very honest.   He never tries to sell or upcharge - to the contrary, he cautions against unnecessary and expensive additional work that he could do.
 
I have used him for several projects in my condo, including replacing faucets, replacing toilets, putting in shower heads, and fixing leaky faucets.  The work he has done for me on jos several visits has uniformly been of high quality with no problems.  He is very diligent as well. He stays with the project and works very hard.  He did not charge me for the extra time that was required when the work ran into an unexpected snag caused by unforeseeable piping problems in my building.  He also has had very good assistants with him.

He cleans up everywhere he works and double-checks the work before he leaves to make sure that everything is working properly.  He follows up with a written confirmation of payment.

In short, I couldn't be more pleased with Jan and Vanguard.  I highly recommend him.
