I'm not sure if all these reviews are authentic. We had a completely different experience with Frank. He kept complaining about his health and charged us $95 to tighten some screws and give an estimate.

had them put in a new boiler and oil tank they did such a great job. I could not believe how quiet and efficient they were they left the place cleaner than when they came. All workmanship was top notch and very professional .If you need service or a new boiler these are the people to call. Thanks to all the crew and the girl who called from their office you are the best

I have no idea if their actual work is good, but I was almost hit twice on the highway by one of their vans yesterday, while the driver laughed in the mirror at me. Maybe don't drive like an asshole while your company's name is stamped all over your van. Just a suggestion.

I had recently decided to convert my house from oil heat and hot water to natural gas heat and hot water. I received 3 bids for the work and James Thompson Plumbing's bid was the lowest and also was using better equipment. From start to finish Jamie and his crew were professional. They were always quick to answer any questions I had about the system and components. They were able to work with my busy schedule to install the heating system and promised the work to be completed in one day. They met this goal and finished in one day and the work is top notch. All of the pipes are level and precise. They went above and beyond the original scope of the project to make sure I would later have the ability to plumb in a gas stove or dryer. Even the gas company and town inspector was impressed with their work. Thank you once again Jamie and your crew!

I am always nervous hiring any craftsman without a family or friend notification, and this was true for Welch's. I had a drain blockage in my kitchen, and my efforts weren't successful in breaking it up.
Welch's was fast, courteous, and effective. They called ahead of time to see if I was available, were clear about the plan to fix, and took care of the problem.
They weren't super cheap, but the price was reasonable and the service A+. I will absolutely use them again!

We recently hired Andrew to do some work on our new house, and we look forward to working with him again. He and Nick did an great job at a reasonable price, and were friendly and communicative throughout.

I had a nightmare situation with a toilet overflowing and flooding the place with sewage, on a friday evening. Chris and his team showed up quickly that evening and came back the next day to continue working on the problem till it was resolved. I highly recommend their services.

I moved into a place without a working shower drain. My landlord hired Matt, so I can only speak as a tenant, but I can say he worked fast, communicated well, and would not give up even when the job got a lot more complicated than we anticipated. I'm so beyond happy with the work. Thanks, Matt!!

Zeolla will now be our go-to for plumbing needs. Although they were swamped, they were able to fit us into their schedule. I received a follow up text to a voicemail I left (literally thank you because I'm on the phone all day for work and hate it AND I had the details in a text message so I wouldn't forget the date/time). The team was on time, wore their masks, worked efficiently, and solved/gave good advice on any problems we had (there were quite a few).

Welter is the Man!
I have an aging Buderus GB142 condensing boiler that has been having those old age boiler things happening. I had been using a local service with a monthly support agreement but recent experiences with under trained techs led me to search for someone more familiar with my boiler.
After having been quoted $4,900 to repair my boiler for error codes and inaccurate pressure readings from Company A, I contacted Welter and he came in and assessed a few problems. The issues were addressed efficiently, parts were replaced, connections were repaired the boiler was deemed ready for service and the total bill amounted to less than 20% of Company A.
Long story short, Welter is an experienced plumber, heating pro, with a positive attitude and excellent troubleshooting skills. Highly Recommend Welter for any heating / hot water issues.

Pat was awesome. We were impacted by the Artic Blast, called him in the morning and he said he would fit us in. He kept in touch with us during the day and he committed to his word, came by before going home and fixed our home. Very reasonably priced... I highly recommend him to everyone. Thanks Pat.

Decided to get proactive with our 20 year old American Standard furnace. Selected Main Stream Mechanical to do the install and couldn't be happier. Technicians were very knowledgeable and professional. Very well run company with great communication. Couldn't be happier.

Can't really rate because left a message on 7/26 never called me back. Called second time , he picked up but claimed was on a 10' ladder and couldn't talk, was abrupt and rude. If you're on a 10' ladder why pick-up the call?
Update, received a call today, 8/27 with a very nice apology for not getting back to me and for being rude. Family run business so, I'm a firm believer in giving someone a second chance.

Have used them a couple of times for my heat and have been impressed by the level of service and hard work ethic. Very personable office staff and technicians - never made me feel stupid or uncomfortable, very approachable and easy to talk to. We were having problems with getting my heat back on and couldn't figure it out - came late at night and did not give up until they solved the problem. Very impressed and highly recommend!

Gallinelli Plumbing was a complete nightmare to deal with on multiple levels:
1) Almost all tasks that Gallinelli Plumbing performed needed to be redone two or three times due to shoddy work. For example:
-Boiler- Boiler gas levels needed to be adjusted multiple times as it was extremely loud. The pipes attached to the boiler did not bleed air correctly. Due to this problem the boiler also shut down with a hard error less than 2 months of being installed.
-Kickspace heater: we requested a kickspace heater be installed under some new kitchen cabinets. Unfortunately this was installed wrong location and required a disconnect/reinstall to put it in the proper location.
-Utility sink - upon installation the utility sink did not drain properly. Gallinelli deemed that the sink needed to be raised which required a second visit.
-Washer/Dryer hookups: hammer arrestor valves were not installed and pipes were not secured properly and rattle throughout the house
2) Gallinelli damaged our home during the work and has refused to acknowledge any responsibility
The plumber that Gallinelli sent destroyed bathroom tile during his work at our home. We had a general contractor who explicitly told Gallinelli's plumber to be careful with any of the bathroom tile since it was original tile from when the house was built. Instead, the plumber ignored that advice and carelessly destroyed tile.
Gallinelli's plumber also ruined bathroom floor tile by stepping off the protective plywood and onto the floor while the tile had not yet dried. This was another instance in which he blatantly disregarded instructions not to step on the floor tile as it was drying. Gallinelli still refuses d to acknowledge any responsibility of wrongdoing despite witnesses seeing them cause damage.
3) Refusal to acknowledge any wrongdoing or shoddy work
Despite all the problems we have encountered, Gallinelli refuses to acknowledge any wrongdoing or make a good faith attempt to perform acceptable work.
Regarding the damaged caused in our home, we have repeatedly asked Gallinelli to provide their insurance info so we can submit a claim. Gallinelli has refused and has decided to blame everyone else instead.
Every time we call Gallinelli to have them fix problems they have caused all we hear are excuses.
For example, Gallinelli installed a tub spout incorrectly and is still loose. When asked Gallinelli just claimed that it was too long.
During another instance we called them to look at the boiler they installed when it shut down unexpectedly with a hard error. Gallinelli did not return our calls that day, forcing us to consult with another plumber. The day after Gallinelli threatened that our warranty would be void. We were rudely told that we were out of luck and they wouldn't return calls on the weekend or nights, even with two small children living in our house. This was especially frustrating, because they would have diagnosed the problem over the phone by having us go through the screen prompts on the boiler.
4) Excess billing
Gallinelli has tried to bill us for the extra visits for when they try to show up for a second or third time for a shoddy job.
You cannot trust Gallinelli plumbing's integrity or work. We have never had an experience like this before with skilled tradespeople. Despite the tens of thousands of dollars we have spent, we have been left with substandard work, excuses, and frustration.

Mike, has done a number of jobs for us over the last year. Excellent communication and top notch plumbing. Highly recommended.

AA Zack Plumbing was one of the best service companies I've ever had the privilege of hiring. They were honest in their assessment and extremely thorough and efficient on the job (plumbing in our bathroom and kitchen). They even cleaned up our bathroom and kitchen as well as the floors where they walked around in our apartment after they were done fixing. Highly highly recommended!

This is an update to an earlier 1-star review. Cranney did reach out and everything has been resolved. I am very happy to have reconnected with them and would also recommend.
