Best Pipe Installation in Seattle WA
We just purchased a house and found out the washing machine hookups were done DIY with hoses totally exposed and stapled to a wall that was previously hidden from sight. Later I found out that one of the hoses that was feeding into another hose would spray water everywhere during the wash cycle.
We actually called Alki Sewer first since he was referred by a friend, but Phil, the owner, referred us to Green Planet. Justin was the head of our project and he was really down to earth and knowledgeable about his trade. There was also a nice young guy named Matt that was there most of the time as well as Luke. They all spent some time in our tiny crawlspace...bless their hearts! All very nice, respectful, quiet guys.
They tore out the drywall and installed all of the washing machine hoses the correct way--inside the wall instead of stapled on it. They also installed a very fancy recessed washer hookup system that sits inside the drywall so the washer can be pushed right up against the wall :) The pipes under the sink and in the washer area also got a full upgrade.
In addition they also totally fixed my leaky hose, caulked all my fixtures, extended a shower head that was too short, put in an expansion tank, and gave us seismic straps.
They also did everything for the plumbing permit--including getting the permit, scheduling, setting up for the plumbing inspection, and taking down the set up for the plumbing inspection. The inspector said everything was perfect. (They also didn't add anything to the bid price except for the cost of the inspection.)
Scheduling is really easy too--I called Weds, Thurs Justin draws up a bid, Mon it's done in one day. There was barely any time when the water was off--very efficient. I also like to comment that it's nice that the guy that did the bid also did the work.

This is my first ever Yelp review and I decided to write my honest review for After Hour Services.
My kitchen sink has been stuck for more than 12 hrs. I tried different methods for 5 hrs but still couldn't get it resolved.
After Hours Services exceeded my expectations in many ways-
Responsive: Will replied my request for quote under 10 mins, and replied my text and call fairly quickly.
Professional: Will got things done in under 30 mins. In addition, Will was very thorough in examining andexplaining the issue. What I love the most is that he cleaned up the area after the issue was fixed.
Transparent pricing: he's honest and it's a flat fee and very reasonable price. I got different quotes and his is the most transparent.
On-time: he was on time, which is a very big factor for me.
Overall, I recommend Will and After Hour Services, with passion.

Responsive, reliable, honest, trustworthy local, family owned business. They replaced toilets in 25 year old house. I'll use them again when I need plumbing services.

I was referred to WS Sewer & Drain by a friend and I could not be more impressed with Bill and Judy. They were so helpful. I didn't need immediate assistance so was able to schedule and get Bill over for an appointment and then a second appointment once all my parts came in without issue. Bill was fast, courteous and knowledgable.
I was so happy with the service, the results and the cost.
I would definitely recommend... Thank You!!!

I had water leaking from my upstairs bathroom into my living room (I am in Sammamish), a friend recommended Dave and his team from Maple Valley Plumbing. I texted Dave and he got back to me straight away, and maintained contact throughout the process. One of Dave's team members, Justin, came out the next day ahead of schedule (Dave contacted me beforehand to check if that worked for me). Justin was great, diagnosed and fixed the problem very quickly, an explained everything to me. I would highly recommend Maple Valley Plumbing.

We are extremely pleased with Dirt Cheap's repair/upgrade of our sewer line. After 70 years of operation, we were looking to replace an exterior sewer pipe. Every 2 to 3 years we would have to get a plumber to cut out the roots clogging our sewer line. The last time it happened was December 24th.
It was a multi year process to find the right company to do the job. We received 4-5 bids. Dirt Cheap had the least invasive solution, had the best warranty (25-year Transferable Warranty), and had the best price. The workers were experienced, worked hard and were a pleasure to work with.
They installed 2 liners and replaced one long sewer pipe. The materials were all first rate. After installation, the team pressure tested the system and the city inspector gave final approval to the project.
This is a very ethical company with high standards. After the dirt and original turf were put back in place, the area looked as good as before. There is no point showing the before and after pictures of the yard, because the pictures look identical.
I have absolutely no problem recommending Dirt Cheap for your sewer line needs. Thank you to the gang at Dirt Cheap!!

I have worked with many a contractor in my ownership of 6 different properties (total 10 units) and Erik is always one of the best. He's my go to plumbing guy as he does good, reliable and reasonably priced work. As a real estate agent, I am asked regularly for referrals to local service providers of all kinds for housing, and when plumbing comes up, he is my first referral every time. In fact, so many of my clients end up liking his work (and him) that they end up referring him to their friends and family too and using him as their longtime plumbing helper. That alone is a sign of a guy who is doing a good job because no one calls a mediocre plumber out again. He's done work on 4 of my properties and the only reason he has worked on the other rental units I own is because they are out of state.
I highly recommend Erik's work. Plus, for a plumber, he's got a great, dry sense of humor!

Sam was fantastic and I highly recommend him! He replied quickly to my request for a garbage disposal inspection, and ultimately a replacement. He came same day and arrived when he said he would. The price was what he quoted for the work and he offered suggestions to prolong the life of my new disposal. Sam was very friendly and worked quickly!

These guys were recommended to me by our inspector RW West. I was very disappointed with their service, and this is something I have fed back to our inspector.
Elvis and the other guy (Asian guy with blue contacts, maybe Tim?) came out to our house and basically refused to do anything related to the actual problem I called them out for, without first getting paid. I called them for the simple issue of installing a p-trap in a shower that had recently been renovated. The work was to be done in the crawlspace. Every other plumber that came out went into the crawlspace and looked at the actual issue and gave me a bid. Not these guys. They basically gave me a worst case scenario of what could happen and what probably needed to be done without actually knowing anything about my specific problem. They loved to talk but didn't listen. They had nothing but contempt for the work of the previous contractor and basically spoke as if they were the only two real plumbers and everyone else was a hack. I asked him if he would like to actually go down to the crawlspace before making a judgment on how difficult this task would be.
His exact words We don't go down to the crawlspace for free. That'll be $150. And then suggested that I do his job for him and go down there and send him a video.
He took my email and said he would give me a quote but never ended up contacting me or returning any of my calls or voicemails.
I'm not sure why they even bothered coming out if they were going to do nothing. It was a waste of both my time and theirs.
Avoid these guys unless you like your contractors to be arrogant and dismissive.

Action Jackson emailed me to apologize for the poor service and sent a refund. So that's nice I guess.
ps- My water heater is still working fine for over a month now with the filter cleaning and the tightening of the thermocouple.

They were willing to give a preliminary estimate when others needed a separate appointment. Communication setting everything up was fast and easy. The two workers that came out were very friendly and respectful and got the work done.
At the end, the cleaned up and answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend Layne plumbing and when I need a plumber again, they will be my first call.

Price Busters Plumbing is awesome with great pricing! Josh came out for an estimate but was so awesome we decided to have him do the job. He was able to fix our issue as well as install our new faucet right then. Fantastic response time to our initial query, fast response time to provide an estimate and fast response to actually completing the job.
He was very nice, friendly and fair. Additionally, he was very knowledgeable and efficient. I will be telling everyone I know to use these guys, starting here with Yelp.

My home has a hydronic heating system and I haven't been able to get hot enough water into my home to heat up the space or even properly wash bottles for my 10 month old infant. I've had 4 heating specialists come out to look at it, all of them charging a $160+ fee just for the consultation. All of which resulted in expensive estimates that I didn't believe would fix the issue.
With that context, I can express my relieved stress working with Joe's Plumbing. My brief exchange with the administrative office was pleasant and concise; they sent a technician the day following and without a fee!
My experience with the technician, Carl, was truly where they earned a 5-star rating from me. From the get-go, he was personable and knowledgeable. He quickly displayed his acumen by discovering the issue within minutes of closing and opening the valves and he explained the problem/proposed resolution effectively. He made some calls to the office and was able to get underway implementing his solution. He worked fast and transparently, never hesitating to explain what he was doing and why. He was just a genuinely good person.
If I had to nitpick anything about my experience, it would be the bureaucracy in the company. I was told at the time of scheduling an appointment I would receive a call an hour before the technician arrived, likely close to the appointment window they appointed me. I did not receive such a call and instead ran into him on the sidewalk as I was returning from an errand. He told me the office does not give him the customers' phone number until he arrives on-site...
After the work was done, Carl got my payment information and went on his way. The next business day, the office called and said they needed to collect. I told them I had given it to Carl and the representative that had called said he shouldn't have done that.. At worse, this is an optics issue regarding the communications within their company. Pragmatically, why would it be a concern to exchange payment information at the time of service? Reducing points of contact streamlines work on the end of the customer.
Again, those last two points are nitpicking and did not truly impair my positive experience with Joe's Plumbing and especially Carl. The work was done well, cleanly, and effectively (thus far). Fantastic work, would recommend if anyone else has hydronic heating; this guy knows his stuff.

The guy showed up the same day. He got to work and left the place pretty clean when he was done. He had to take off the toilet. He was able to clear out our sewer line that contained a lot of tree roots. No wonder our neighbor's tree looked so healthy!

Emailed Aaron on a thursday for a backed up toilet. No hurry as i have 2 other bathrooms so he scheduled Brian for Monday afternoon. Brian came within the time frame and took minutes to clear. Easy fix and very nice. Would highly recommend and will call again when i need plumbing service.

Most folks wanted to come in and take an initial look in person, but JV was able to diagnose the leak and come up with a quote through text. I appreciated that.
On the day of repair, we found out that the repair didn't require anyone to drill a hole into the wall, so the fix ended up being easier than originally intended. We got a slight discount because of it, and while the final price ended up being pricey for the short time that it took to repair, it was a lot cheaper than what other plumbers were quoting.

I'll be the first to say that I'm not familiar with the going rate for plumbing work...I'm quickly learning. I had a new kitchen countertop and sink installed and none of the existing plumbing matched up. I spent a couple of hours doing my best to figure it out. I mean I took it apart I should be able to put it back together, right? Wrong. So I broke down and called Mr. Rooter.
The good: The customer service is the main reason I gave them 3 stars. The women I dealt with on the phone and the plumber that came to do the estimate were incredibly pleasant and helpful.
The bad: I thought that this would be a fairly easy job for an experienced plumber...connecting the sink drainage. The estimate was $300+. Ok, fair enough, I'm finding out...that's the price of plumbing apparently.
The ugly: I thought well since they're going to be here I might as well have them install the new faucet as well. Simple task, but since someone was going to be under there anyway I would just have them do it...so I asked for that to be included in the estimate. Holy crap...$342 to install a faucet...a faucet!
When they come to give you the estimate, they tell you the estimate, the schedule you...then email the estimate. When I got the itemized estimate and saw they were charging me $342, I called and cancelled the appointment on principle. I feel like $342 is an exorbitant amount to install a kitchen faucet.
In the end, I took 10-15 minutes and installed to faucet myself...and am still looking for someone for the remainder of the work. So to me clear, I still can't use my kitchen sink, but in my mind my principles are intact.

Professional, honest and didn't waste any time fixing our leak! Very fairly priced. Hoping I won't need them again but if I do, they are first on my list of plumbers to call!

Todd and Long showed up early and I was still at Costco, they said they'll just wait until I arrive, which they did. I arrived they were friendly and professional. Todd who has the same name as me is also a musician Like me so they worked and we talked about making music. They did a clean professional job, and Todd advised me to have a counter professional look at my sink because it was not sealed properly, he also checked my water heater as a courtesy and advised me why my hot water was not working properly. I just needed to set it to the proper level. They he had a Mr. Long that was working with him and he was professional as well. Great install, great attitude, professional. When I use them again and ask for Todd and Long to do the work. Great Job! Love my new Kitchen Faucet.

I called puget sound plumbing because I have a leak in my ceiling. The plumber by the name of Robert came out to look at the leak. He was very professional and informative. He was able to run a few test and let me know exactly where the water was coming from.
