Best Pipe Installation in Seattle WA
After getting a new dishwasher, I found out that not only did I need an outlet installed (the old dishwasher had been hard-wired), but also needed two new circuits running to the kitchen because the previous owners had put the dishwasher and fridge on the same circuit as some outlets in a very different part of the house. While I had not had any issues, this is not up to code. I called several electricians for estimates, but none of them could do the work for several weeks. I also found that there are some pretty dodgy electricians out there!
When I called Seatown, I was immediately connected to a real person who was knowledgeable and helpful. She booked an on-site visit and estimate for the very next day. I did get some sticker shock at the price, but I know electrical work is just expensive. Since they were able to do the work the following day, I went ahead.
The techs who showed up were great. They kept me informed every step of the way, and even though they ended up spending over an hour figuring out the best way to run the new wire because there was no easy access to the main house from the garage, the price didn't go up. I was left with a neat and safe solution, fully inspected and permitted.
Bottom line - if you want it done right, you can trust Seatown!

I had a switch/outlet in my kitchen go out recently. I tried to fix the switch myself, but figured I'd better call an electrician just in case. I called Eco Electric & Plumbing and spoke to a very friendly employee who made an appointment for me within a week's time. I received reminder emails and a text the morning of the appointment. I had the pleasure of meeting Shane Tripp who was right on my time for my 8am appointment and extremely friendly and courteous. He got straight to work and talked me through the issues I was having with my outlet. Shane even asked if I had other electrical issues not related to the appointment which he was willing to help me with. Shane is the best! If I ever have any need for an electrician, I'll be sure to ask for Shane.

Our fixer was great in fixing our clogged kitchen sink. He was quick to diagnose the problem, honest in his appraisal of what would be the best and most affordable solution, and able to get everything done. We appreciate the convenience and honest and hassle-free process.

After Hours Services responded within 10 minutes to a request for a quote for replacing a busted garbage disposal and sink hose. Within 20 minutes, Will had an appointment time for me the next day and an estimate for the service. He showed up on time with advance notice, got the job done, and was very friendly with reasonable prices. Everything you can hope for when working with a plumber! I wouldn't hesitate to hire After Hours Services again.

This company is a rip off. The company either is very incompetent or they are running a scam.
I contacted Hunt Service after locating their information on Angie's list to unclog a bathtub drain in a duplex that I owned. The tech came out took a look and quoted me $399.99 to snake both tub drains. I was later informed via a phone call that he was unable to clear the drain after snaking only the one unit and that the situation would require another approach.
When I asked what were my options he informed me that he would have to replace all the old galvanized pipes under the duplex at a cost of approximately $3,000. I asked if could provide me with an estimate so that I can compare it with additional estimates that I would be obtaining. The tech informed me he would have to locate the pipes first before he can quote me an estimate; he asked if there was a crawl space under the house. I had assumed that he would have located the crawl space, the drain and the water cut off before attempting to unclog the tub. The final estimate came out to be 4,640.00.
The next day I was able to locate Conan Drain Cleaning service who came out and cleared the clog with a single application of the snake through the kitchen drain at a price of 259.00. It took Conan one attempt and he came and left inside of 30 minutes. This guy was a blessing. I asked him why Hunt's tech could not clear the clog and his response was that the Hunt tech didn't know what they were doing.
I will be writing a letter requesting my 465.00 charge refunded for either total incompetents or for running a scam on the paying public.

The call:
Called Beacon for a non-emergency water heater failure and scheduled a visit for the following week when an experienced guy could come out. Told the person making the reservation that the heater was about 15-20 years old and gave them the model and serial number. Was informed that there would be a $75 service charge to come out and troubleshoot the unit.
The visit:
The appointment day arrived and the guys showed up on time after calling. Good work, but that's were the good stopped. Upon arrival only one of the 2 was wearing a mask when they got out of the truck. We've been doing COVID for a year now, get with it... Brought them over to the unit and then was informed that it was old and that I should just get a new one. No kidding? Maybe I don't have 2-3k to drop on a heater when I can make this one limp along a while longer? When I suggested that he at least try to take a look and see if there is a repair that could be done and get us by for a while longer I was told that the diagnostic fee would be $385 just to find out what's wrong. That sounds a bit different than $75 to me, but what do I know? Fortunately the tech also told me that he wasn't even interested in looking at it; which saved us both some time as I told him he could leave.
The resolution:
After the techs decided to leave they chilled in the truck for a while before they took off. Must have been break time... Don't bother wasting your time with this company, they clearly don't care about customer service and are VERY inclined to try to scam people out of money. I was looking forward to using this company, but after calling the first time, they were supposed to call me back, never did- I figured no big deal, it was leading into a holiday weekend. So I call them this week, set up an appointment for 10am- and at 1030 I get a call that they need to push it back to the afternoon. I'm at work and I had my partner already change his work schedule to be able to do 10am. By 1030 no one has shown up and I finally get a call that they need to reschedule again last min. I understand that things come up but I work in an appointment based industry and would never inconvenience my customers repeatedly like this. I wish I could say that I would want work done but being on time and respecting others time is in tune with doing a quality job as well so I'll hopefully find a different company that can do both.
Edited to add: I wish your speed and accuracy in replying to yelp was used today and this past week. Then I'm sure I had stayed a customer.

My experience with South West Plumbing started off a bit rocky. I filled out their online form for scheduling service and all I got in return was the sound of crickets. I then picked up the phone and scheduled an appointment with a human. Perfect. I was told they would come out that same day between 3:00 and 5:00. But, no call from the dispatcher and nobody showed. Hmmm... could I have misunderstood? More on that in a bit. So, the next day I get a call from dispatch telling me they would be at my place at the scheduled time. Great! So, the guys show up in the evening around 5:00. Brent Bates and Drew Everett were on the task. They quickly found the problem -- leaky pipe underneath the house. Both of them were very professional and had a lot to provide in terms of explaining what type of pipes I had, how they worked, the newer technology for no-frost pipes, etc. I thought they were both awesome, worked quickly, and slam-dunked the repair. I would definitely have these guys out again if necessary. Now, about the possible misunderstanding on the schedule. I was given an extra 5% discount for waiting an extra day so, evidently no misunderstanding. So, the scheduling bit of my experience was not that great but the actual plumbers doing the job were excellent. I would give 5 stars if they had responded to my web application for an appointment.

We had several outlets that quit working. Using HomeAdvisors for past home projects, we called them and they referred us to Dear Services. Dear E dispatched a tech, William, who found and replaced faulty equipment. When we encountered another problem, we again called Dear and Nick responded and solved our issue. Dear has professional workers, all are well trained an knowledgeable. They do things right and stand behind their work - Techs call with an eta allowing customer the courtesy of knowing within a narrow window when help will arrive ...
