Best Garbage Disposal Repair in Seattle WA
We went by solid 5 star reviews on yelp as well, but this company grossly overcharges for their services. Yes, they came on time, Justin was knowledgable, but then it was time to give me the prices... We had a few things to address but the primary reason he came was because our garbage disposal failed. We didn't want to fix it since it's been with the house for 15 years, plus we wanted to add an air switch instead having to turn on the switch inside the cabinet of the island. The opening for the switch was available by removing the soap dispenser. Simple job, and the price tag? $640 (that included $59 coming out fee) for installing badger 1 disposal that can be bought on Amazon for $75 (active work time = 45min). He left the old switch in place and connected the air switch to it but failed to tell me that I have to have it in on position for the air switch to work.
Now the prices I was quoted for other services:
- Replacing outdoor hose spigot (x2): $350 each (with or without having to open the wall in case of complications)
- Replacing toilet overflow valve (x2): $230 each
- Replacing leaky bathroom faucet (x2): $220 each
No thanks!

Super efficient! Will did a great job responding quickly to our query on Yelp and made himself available the next day. Sent him a picture (via text - couldn't make that work on Yelp) to help him scope out the small project. Very fair pricing and did a great job fixing the issue! Thanks, Will!

Had a great experience with this plumber to replace an outdoor hose bib. Professional, prompt and fair and reasonable rates (I shopped around, don't be fooled by those that say 'free estimates' - they are usually twice the price). Would recommend and use again!

Best plumber ever! Was quick and less than his competition. Charged $1,000 less than the closest estimate when a pipe under our slab busted. Installed a dishwasher and toilet for us as well and did an excellent job. Honest to a fault. I'll never use another plumber.

Thanks to Eric. He fixed our kitchen faucet and garbage disposal for fraction of cost other guys quoted for.

Called All Ways Rooter and they not only showed up early, Sam was a consummate professional. He diagnosed the issue with my kitchen sink quickly and had my garbage disposal reset and properly sealed in an hour or so. He advised me on ways to fix future issues myself and was pleasant to be around as well. If you are ever fortunate enough to get Sam as your tech, you won't be disappointed!

After recently purchasing a new house we knew the water heater in the house was old and in need of being replaced. We decided to hold off until after the remodeling was completed.
Anyway I did some research into various plumbers and decided to go with Mr Rooter in the end. The decision was helped in that the price was reduced to member rate given all the work they has done as part of the remodel work.
James was the plumber who came to complete the job and I have to say he is efficient at his work and maintains high standards. The job was done in about an hour and now I have fresh hot water in a new high efficiency tank with all new pipes and valves and a thermal expansion tanks all up to current code. Old water tank was taken away to be disposed with (good riddance!).
I have to say I was very impressed with the quality of service and look forward to several years of continuous hot water.
Mr Rooter plumbing are in my eyes very easy to work with and even call you up to let you know that there will be delays before the agreed time window.
When I finally get round to remodeling my kitchen I will be sure to call these guys up again for the work.

There is a $350 minimum charge that they didn't disclose. They did removed a small piece that they weren't quite sure what it was and put the wires back together. The two stars is solely because we have now have hot water. But I have never felt so scammed in quite some time.

Dep Singh a plumber-in the Kent area responded to an evening call to resolve an immediate need to clear a clogged drain system in one the units at our 4 plex. He was very professional and obviously very adept with his skills as a plumber. He was articulate and kindly negotiated a fair price for his plumbing services. It was a messy job cleaning the line but he was industrious and left a happy tenant with a resolved plumbing issue.
We will definitely call Dep Singh again for plumbing services. He works for the Vortex plumbing Company. Thank you for your promptness and taking care of business promptly!! I highly recommend his integrity and skills when in need of a plumber. Annette

Great experience using Tech City! With a co-worker recommendation, called TechCity for a plumbing issue. Was so happy they were able to make it out pretty quick. Elvis and Tim were amazing. Both were professional and explained exactly what the issue was and showed me what they had to replace and what they had to do to fix the issue. Calling someone you really have no history with is typically pretty intimidating, but this company and the team they sent out, exceeded the expectations...
Highly recommend them!

Where to start.... I called around several plumbers and albeit shocked at the rates was referred to Action Jackson as the one I wanted wasn't available. They quoted me a minimum fee to come out and investigate water leak issue. That fee would be applied to the work if they ended up doing the work. That bill was ~300 with gas/truck fee.
Vey much liked the individual, seemed very knowledgeable, made a lot of sense. He recommended a remediation company as insurance needed a company to come in and dry and open everything that the plumber said was needed to be opened. AJackson works with this company in past so leverage a known commodity (they will work together and communicate).......
AJackson plumber got busy and couln't come back when arranged with the remediation company. When finally did come back in Rem company ensured they were here to get the directions of what extra to open up beyond the drying. Plumber proceeded to identify the offending pipe and remove it although I wasn't convinced, but they are the pros. Dead piece of pipe removed (basically fell out) and cap put in place to where that pipe entered next pipe. Job done, ran some water to verify and scoped the line.
I wasn't convinced so while plumber was still here we ran another test repeating what the last thing done before water found on floor. Water shot out as seemingly still a slow plug forcing water up through some connected air vent and back out an unplugged hole. Plumber gives directions to open outside wall trying to trace a pipe OR remove upstairs cabinets as well. Charge is 900 for that day minus the original, more to come after restoration opens more for him. From what I can tell that covered testing, scoping and removing that loose pipe w/ a cap not a lot of time. Add onto this a very busy day between remed company, plumber and issues with existing payment method (didn't remember till later that cheque would have worked, and wasn't prompted). Trying to resolve payment method and getting repeated pings that bill is due by end of the work that day. Constantly pinged while I am working and juggling then threated with a lien and 15% late fee if not done by end of day. All I could do to not say something improper with the badgering (office staff is good at pestering you for payment). May be less upset if they were as good at fixing the problems efficiently (didn't figure that out for sure till found another plumber). One caveat, there is never just one answer but when you read my end note, less destruction is better....
Remediation company comes back and cuts open wall and tries to trace the pipe for plumber but opens up walls per plumber. Apparently plumber is now too busy and not coming back i need to find another plumber to finish the job (after following their directions and investigations....). The bill was for Plumbing services of that day, which sounded like a bunch of investigation in order to be able to fix the problem and now can't come back to finish. I assume that means any new plumber will charge similar investigation charges for time to figure out whats' going on all over again. As little was actually accomplished.
Upside to the story, another plumber comes in and can't believe need to open outside wall or remove kitchen cabinets. Identifies problem, replaces a pipe and runs a line down from upstairs. Tests and proves everything works. Done in less than a day.Didn't need outside wall cut(so now I have to get it fixed), or kitchen taken apart (glad we avoided that)......
Advice, read well the feedback of others. I didn't, I went on local recommendations. Hind sight is 20/20 the feedback i've read kindof makes sense. I hope there is a learning here somewhere.

I had price busters replace a water heater tank and a main water shut off valve. They were very responsive and prompt to send me a bid which was very competitive. They were very professional and did an awesome job. I would definitely call them again for my plumbing needs.

Based on my initial Yelp review, the owner reached out to me within 48 hours to discuss. I appreciate him reaching out to me to try and resolve a poor experience.
We spoke about my experience and he listened and explained the situation. He wound up honoring my original pricing and said he'd follow up with the tech who came over to my home that day so he was better informed.
My clogged drain is now resolved and I hope my plumbing needs will be taken care of as smoothly as they were today by Joe's 2 Sons Plumbing.

Brian came this morning. He was early, prompt, and a total professional. He installed our new toilet with no issues and spent the time to explain to what our issue was. Excellent!!

Jose and his son are incredibly professional, helpful and nice. I am definitely putting them at the top of the list as far as recommending plumbers in the future.

Noticed a leak coming from upstairs kitchen sink area last night and water dripped to the downstairs room. I called a local plumbing company that I had worked with before and reached their after hours answering service. I was told they would call me back in the morning. I nervously waited till their office opened at 7:30am this morning to call them again, turns out they are all booked today so no appointment available. I was in a panic mode and literally called/emailed/yelped 15+ companies through Yelp and Angie's list. Got some flat out, no. we are not available today, and some non committal, maybe, we'll let you know some time, to others more helpful (an honorable mention/shout out to Bee's plumbing who scheduled me for first thing tomorrow and they were very understanding when I later called them back to cancel as I found Top Gun).
I dialed the phone number for Topgun plumbing around 11am, reached an answering service. I left my info, not really expecting an answer today but to my surprise, Al called me back within 30 minutes and we scheduled for 1-2pm. I know that the scheduling is hit or miss as no company can really control their schedules in this line of work, so just thought I was lucky today.
He showed up on time, has a large truck that carries what he needs. He was professional and courteous. He gave me a write up after looking at the situation and explained the items very well. We actually asked about another plumbing problem (downstairs bathroom sink also leaking) , that he looked at and said he can fix it during today's visit. He finished both jobs in about 1.5 hours, and double checked to make sure both sinks were working without leaks and left the areas clean. Because of COVID, we purposely stayed 6 feet apart, wore our masks and when i asked him some plumbing questions, he was very patient in answering them, and gave straightforward answers that a non plumbing person like me can easily understand. The total cost came up to be $415 today. Plumbing repairs are definitely not cheap around here but the overall experience was really good , from the initial phone call to completion of the repairs, so to me it was worth the cost to just get them done timely. This is coming from me who has had prior bad experiences with no shows, delays, and one time someone had to go to the store to look for a part for 2+ hours, then came back and charged me time for those hours (after they had previously come by a few days before to give me the estimate...you'd think that they would have prepared the right part before they show up to actually do the repair...). So I'm definitely keeping Al- Topgun's number for future reference.

We were extremely pleased with Weezee's service, which was prompt, efficient and friendly. Zach took the time to explain his repair so that we know what to watch for in the future. We used Weezee's on the recommendation of friends, and I'm happy to pass on the same very high recommendation to others.

I have found my plumber! Thanks to a friend's recommendation, I contacted Affordable Plumbing (and Duane) for a bad kitchen drain blockage. He was at my place the next day, on time (and called to let me know where he was because of traffic). Extremely knowledgeable about his craft, courteous, clean and thorough. Clog was gone in less than an hour, and he was very reasonably priced. I can very comfortably say that this is a fantastic plumber and very much worth your consideration when you need someone honest, thorough and trustworthy.

I am very unhappy with Puget Sound Plumbing & Heating. I needed a very simple job performed for my tenant. I was first called and told plumber would show up at around 8am. They then called back saying they made a mistake and had to re-schedule for the afternoon. This happens sometimes, not a big deal, except that I was not reachable by phone at the new time. I had to auto-approve the work to be done. The plumber fixed the trap that was leaking under the sink, no parts needed, took about 20 minutes. A very simple plumbing job. I was charged $250. I called and politely complained about being charged so much money for such a trivial job. That amounts to over $500 an hour for a plumber. I won't be using this company again. I was told they would make a note in my file for management that I feel the price it too high.
