I called/texted the guys at SJ Drain and Main on Wednesday and they responded and came out on Saturday to diagnose and fix the problem within an hour.  As with the previous time I called, Giovanni provided an honest estimate and does his best to provide a fair price for quality work.  I would not hesitate to call SJ Drain and Main again for my future needs and highly recommend this company to anyone who wants to correct a plumbing problem quickly and fairly. Everyone wants someone in the business that they can trust, this is the real deal.

There are a ton of good reviews on yelp so I called EJ Plumbing to get a quote for replacing a gas water heater with a heat pump water heater. Although the estimate process went smoothly the attempted install was a disaster and the technician was so rude that I've decided to use a different company, had to pay $150 for their mistake, and am now wasting time writing a Yelp review about it.

- Technician did measurements and said new WH would fit in existing enclosure. I specifically asked to make sure if it would fit, and he promised to look up the specs to confirm it. He called me later that afternoon and said good news it will fit.
- On day of install they remeasured after disconnecting the existing WH and said it won't fit. He also says they don't do enclosures (or filing permits, or electrical). I brought up the fact that they had told me it would.
- Technician argues with me saying I knew it might not fit, and tells me to call my husband to confirm his version of events. I have a male friend that I ask to stand by when contractors come because of all the sleazy male contractors I've had to deal with in the past - but seriously? Don't believe me, believe the guy standing next to me! Yes, I actually had to call my friend to have a ~man~ vouch for me. Utter nonsense.
- I decide to just call the whole thing off because of the behaviour above. Guy says they're charging me for their time to come out, even though it's their own mistake.

I chose EJ thinking they would be good considering the number of good reviews but will never use them again. Their initial estimate seemed cheaper than the competition but since it didn't include the WH, building permit, electrical, or enclosure - once all the extras get added up they're well over $2000 more expensive than the other quote (which includes all of the items EJ says they won't do). Their lack of attention to detail wasted both my time and the time of their plumbing crew, and the technician's blatant lack of respect was the last straw.

Great service, he is easy to communicate, and schedule the appointment with me the same day. Reasonable price, highly recommend.

José G. did an excellent job with replacing an old pipe outdoors. It was an emergency call due to an accident I caused where I broke the pipe and a lot of pressured water was coming out. I'd hire them again if something else happens.

Returning customer!  We used JK Pluming for our home in Fremont.  When mom's house water heater started leaking day before Christmas I called JK Plumbing and they were able to come within 2 hours and replaced it right away.  It took them all of an hour to replace the water heater.  He also help diagnose a small leak under the kitchen sink for us.  Joe and his crew was a pleasure to work with and will not hesitate to recommend.

Thank you to Anton and United Plumbing.  He cleared out the roots growing into my sewer line and creating a blockage.  We usually use a different plumber, but they didn't respond to our call and we were getting desperate.  Overall United Plumbing is good and I'll consider them again in the future

Always Rescue Plumbing relocated the gas line behind my stove.  Daniel responded quickly to my quote request and to all my follow up questions.  He gave me an estimate quickly and got me on the schedule the next day.   Hugo performed the work and was excellent.  He reviewed the work and what I needed and cleaned the work area when he completed the job.   The final result looks great and the location is perfect.  I would definitely recommend ARP.

Called at 8 am and got a appointment for 9:30 am. Fixed toilet that was leaking at the base by replacing the wax ring. Price was fair and Kuong removed his shoes before entering and cleaned up as needed. Overall a very good job, will use in future.

I had a sewer emergency, and had trouble finding anyone who could make it on short notice. Eddie was able to fit me into his schedule and did a fantastic job. He took the time to discuss the plumbing while getting the job done quickly and well. He had the system working in no time. I'd call again without hesitation.

Thanks for the service. They installed a gas line for my new gas stove. They patiently to explain every detail of the gas line BTU requirement by going through the code book with me. They showed up with face mask and be on time too. I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

I had my main water line break in my front yard.  Called Drain Doctor and they sent someone over and he quoted me $3,800 to replace my water line with copper.  I thought that was a lot for the job so I looked up plumbers on yelp.  I saw AAA had a 5-Star rating with 253 reviews.  I called Khan and told him what happen to my water line.  He quoted me $1,500 for the same job, that's 40% less.  Needless to say, I went with AAA and they came the next morning, trenched my front lawn to get to my water line, replaced it with 3/4 copper and filled the trench and replaced the sod on my lawn.  They cleaned up my yard and walkway and after they were done, you wouldn't have been able to tell that they dug a trench in my lawn.  Khan and his crew were thorough, professional, knowledgeable and very friendly.

The previous tenant did some crazy stuff in my back yard.  When it rained really hard back in March, my deck and back yard flooded!  Ed came out, fixed the clogged drain pipe in no time.

Get this, my dishwasher air gap was leaking water under the sink.  Because Ed was so efficient at fixing the clogged drainage pipe outside, he fixed this leak for free!

These guys know their plumbing.  Good people.  I'm a fan.  Will be calling them for all my plumbing needs in the future.

Excellent work, done in record time. Called them at the last minute because of a major drain stoppage. They diagnosed the issue, recommended a long term solution, and then implemented it all in just a few hours.

I had a plumbing issue in my kitchen and was quickly given an appointment the next day in the morning. Justin arrived early, put booties on and listened to my failed attempts to fix myself. He resolved the matter quickly so I could go to work in a timely manner. Very courteous and clean. Will definitely call them again!

Had a problem with my sink drain, Mr Tino came out and diagnosed the problem as a clogged pipe that was so jammed with decades of grease (a problem I inherited - it's an old house) he recommended a pipe replacement.
I'm a contractor myself, and I agreed.
He came back the next day, did the work without any damage and his price was totally reasonable.

Tino knows his stuff, if I could hire him at my company, he would be a huge asset.
