Best Water Heater Leak Repair in San Jose CA

Spoke to Sam with an estimate to fix shower valve control for $225 for labor plus a replacement cartridge. His staff comes and tells me no cartridge is required and re-installs the unit telling me it was initially installed incorrectly in the first place (which I'm certain it was). I confirm the control is working as expected. The repair work took all of 20 minutes (Remember the labor charged was $225! That's more like $675 an hour!) Then I go next morning to use the shower. I realize now there's more play in the handle. I turn the handle to turn it on and I hear a pop and the control is now loose and is no longer functioning correctly.

I report the issue to Sam and he tells me he now he will charge me for the cartridge. You'd think a reputable shop will honor their work they saw fit to call it fixed at the price charged. Especially when they charge $225 for a 20-minute fix (and I'm being generous with the time).

Technician  came to perform the work. He ended up not doing the hydrojet cleaning per estimate but snake the pipe and recommended another tool which going to require $2500 to add clean out and $2500 to use the disc cleaning method. I was on site the whole entire time and paid for the service. Instead of talking to me and provide me the information (photos, phone number to call city etc.) he talked in Spanish with the tenant. I never have the photo but my tenant said Jose shared with him the photos. It's my property after all and I paid for the service so he needs to work with me in English as I need to understand the condition of my house and make decision on what's best.

It's hard to find honest contractors, but this business is IT. Came to my house to do some minor plumbing work, got it done fast and efficiently! Then we hired him to run a camera through a pipe outside. He stood in the gap for us with the city when he didn't have to. I can't say enough how grateful I am to have found this business! Will be calling them for any future plumbing needs!

I had an issue with my kitchen/washing machine line, and the whole thing needed to be replaced after leaking copious amounts of water into my crawlspace. When I first contacted Mike, I didn't know what the issue was; I just knew there was a smell of sewage. It impressed me that Mike was up front about the fact it can be hard sometimes to figure out what's causing smells. I asked him to go ahead and come, and he did the same day. He immediately found the source of the problem.

It's hard to speak on whether Affordable Plumbing Services is, indeed, affordable, because I didn't get multiple quotes. This felt like something I needed to get fixed ASAP, so I skipped my due diligence and hired the first person that came out. All said and done, it cost $2900 to replace my old galvanized kitchen line. Getting the water cleared out from the crawlspace will have to be done by another company, so that will be a separate cost.

Chris who came out was extremely friendly and polite. He wore shoe protectors in the house, was careful not to let our cats outside, and was very communicative. He took pictures both before the work and after, so I could see the pipes that got replaced. His workspace was clean, and he got it all done in a few hours.

I would call this company again if I have more plumbing issues in the future, and I recommend them!

Marvin did an amazing job diagnosing and fixing a problem with the water auto-shutoff device for our washing machine. He was even able to pull some strings and get the replacement part we needed the same day! A real expert, highly recommended!

Unless you're a lonely housewife, no one wants to call the plumber. But at some point you'll need one, and when you do call Khan at AAA. He's helped me out a few times and is absolutely top notch.

The first time, he came by during the evening to diagnose a garbage disposal that wasn't working. Not only did he fix it, but he did it at no charge and showed me how to fix it myself in the future (a few turns of an Allen wrench was all it took). The second time was to fix an old, leaky faucet. This time his price was more than reasonable even though it was a Sunday and the job turned out to be more of a hassle than he had originally anticipated.

Bottom line: Khan is a friendly, honest guy that works fast and is thorough. Why call anyone else?

Had a flood Sunday night, called Ed Monday morning at 9 am.  He rolled up at 9:15!!  Found the obstruction in main sewer line, cleared it out, even checked the shower drain upstairs that was draining slowly.

Timely, effecient, clean and very courteous and the price was less than expected.  True professionals run this outfit in my opinion.

We have used Gomez Plumbing twice this past year and have been extremely satisfied with everything from the initial contact, fee estimate, turnaround time on getting a plumber out and friendliness of everyone. We had the same problem twice (clogged kitchen sink from guests putting too much food down the drain) and the first time Gomez Plumbing came out, we originally reached out to multiple different plumbers. Their quick response, pleasant front office, and of course their extremely reasonable fee estimate made us choose them. The second time our kitchen sink had the same problem, we knew we would go back to them. I contacted Gomez Plumbing on a Sunday, expecting they couldn't get anyone until Monday but they advised they could send someone the same day if necessary! We were not home so set an appointment for Monday. The plumber arrived right on time, was very friendly, wore a mask and shoe covers, and worked efficiently to fix our kitchen sink/disposal. When he was done, he thoroughly cleaned the area he worked on. We highly recommend Gomez Plumbing!

These guys are my go to plumbers. Not the cheapest but they do a good job. I'd rather just pay once and have the job done right. Every tech so far has been really great. Most recently, I called them because my parents had 2 clogged toilets. A tech named Landon showed up in 30 mins. After an assessment he gave me a few options but before moving on to that he wanted ti try plunging it one more time. Turns out he dislodged the clog and saved us  money. On top of it all, he was very personable and overall a really nice guy. Another great experience. Having to call a plumber is not fun but at least these guys make the process a bit easier.

Anthony and his assistant were terrific. I had a bit of a plumbing emergency and he re-arranged his schedule to accommodate me. He did a great job and his price was very reasonable. Best plumber I have ever worked with.

I had this clogged line in the bathroom of my master bedroom. Though I sent a short notice, he showed up the day after my working hour, unclogged the line and checked the pipe under the building too. His price was fair and didn't add anything for checking the pipe line. Highly recommended.

We have had Takai reroute my shutoffs on my washer and he also replaced our main shutoff coming into the house,  also replace the pipe coming
into the house from the main, and replaced some fittings, everything he has

We've had Ivan out to our place a couple times in the last few years for drain unclogging, toilet installation, shower repair, and plenty of other odds and ends. This most recent time we had to shut off our water around midnight due to a broken shower, and he responded and came the very next day to bail us out, during the Thanksgiving weekend! As usual he fixed the problem quickly and effectively, returning everything to a better state than when he started. I cannot understate how helpful he has been with not just the plumbing, but other random odd problems (broken shower door, broken faucet knob etc).
