Best Water Heater Installation in San Jose CA

We've used them for a few small and medium projects. Mostly recently to install two new toilets. Very responsive and prompt. They do clean, good work at appropriate prices.

I had a great experience with EJ Plumbing. I called Manny since my water heater was old and had rusted parts and no pan. He said he could swing by for an estimate since he was in the area. The estimate was FREE unlike with other plumbers I have worked with in the past (I would avoid Dave Custom). I asked when we could schedule the work after getting a run down of my options (tank, tankless etc. etc.) and a written quote. He said tomorrow! How awesome is that?

He said Danny would be doing the work and he would show up at 8am. Manny promised to stop by at 9 to take a look and make sure things were going okay. Everything went smoothly...Danny covered all the walkways with plastic and drop cloths and removed his shoes every time he went in and out of the place. He worked on removing the old heater that was in a small upstairs closet and wheeled it out. He then installed the pan and new heater as per the plan. Manny stopped by to check things out. Everything was great! Danny made sure I tested the water temperature before he left and even took a quick look at my dishwasher that isn't working too well.

I was invoiced and paid the bill on the spot. Manny later called to make sure things were completed to my satisfaction.

This is the second time I have used EJ Plumbing (I wasn't at home when they did the initial job and thus didn't write a review for them at that time) and they are now top of the list for any future plumbing needs!!

I had a leaky pipe that was causing water to go through the ceiling.  

I got contacted from Trieu first out of all the plumbers.  He was quick and came to my house hours after posting.  After a little investigating we found the leak.

Because the leak was behind the wall in upstairs bathroom he had to do some cutting to get to the leak.  But all was covered up and you wouldn't even know it was worked on after.

He was very friendly and fair.  I'm happy with the service I got from him and I would recommend him for anyone who has any issues with plumbing.

We have an old outdoor faucet that was dripping. My husband tried to fix himself but the rusted hose Bibb wouldn't budge. I requested quote and Mike responded quickly with a quote.  He arrived the same day and in less than 20 mins, he took off the old and replaced with a new one. We are happy no more bucket collecting the water. It was $175 which I thought was fair. We are new to the area and glad that we can trust Affordable with future plumbing needs.

I just want to write this review for Local Rooter & Plumbing because of their professional service. I highly recommend them to anyone in the area that needs service even though my water heater is not even fixed.

My hot water heater broke out of nowhere (and only one and half years new). I called Local Rooter and they were able to come in the same day to give an analysis. Even though the parts took awhile to come in, Paul came in yesterday (Sunday) and try to fix it. Even though it is not fixed, Paul said he would come out the next day on Monday and get the engineers of my water heater manufacturer on the phone to go through it with him.

Even when this did not work out, he recommended another plumbing company who is more professional in the brand that I have (Rinnai, please do not ever get this brand of water heater, it is really bad. I had no choice as my builder put it in with the house) with no charges. I also asked him to give me recommendation of new water heaters, and Paul went to the plumbing stores and send me what they have available.

Even though I still have no hot water right now, I was very happy with this company's service. They are not here just for your money. They are here to help you even if it means to recommend another company on what they can't accomplish. I think that is as high of professionalism as you can do. I very much appreciate it.

Now I need to decide if I should just get a new water heater instead of continue to deal with this crap brand.

Todd N and his team are excellent to work with. I've called for various jobs a few times now. I've always received a return call within minutes and was able to get same day or next day help! Great advice, great work and competitive low pricing.

We were having issues with low water pressure, so I contacted Handy Plumbing Man and they sent Ismael out for an estimate the next morning. He was so helpful and friendly! They offered us a competitive price, and Ismael completed the job a couple days later (it wasn't an emergency). I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again!

J&K was superb!!! Courteous, helpful and explained everything that needed to be done with our water heater repairs.  We decided to proceed with a new water heater from him after he made several positive recommendations and suggestions.  He even installed it on a Saturday!  I am going to keep J&K as my plumber and plan to have him replace my Grohe shower cartridge as soon as I get the part. I would recommend this company to anyone!

We had a drain blockage causing a leak on our washing machine. The previous plumber was unable to resolve the issue, but these guys were able to unclog the drain by using cameras. They even showed us what the camera recorded, before and after. Very responsive and helpful! Highly recommend.

We have used United Plumbing a few times now for different problems and each time, I have found them to be responsive, professional, and reliable.

We've been very happy with their communication, service, and pricing. And they are my go to'plumbing service now.

From a services perspective, we've had them fix a kitchen sink leak, a leaky toilet, a leak in the garage ceiling, and replace a garbage disposal. Hopefully we don't have any more water problems (!) but if we do, I know I can count on United Plumbing to help us!

Amazing service and our expectations were not just met, but surpassed! We had a leak under our kitchen sink and at first thought it could be the disposer, but running the dishwasher also caused water to leak. There was also water spraying onto our backyard. This happened on Saturday night and every plumber that responded said their earliest availability was Monday, but Steve with Local Local said he would come Sunday morning. We were relieved when he showed up promptly at the time he said he would and he was very professional and respectful and followed Covid-19 guidelines. Turns out our plumbing issues were pretty bad-our p-trap had to be replaced and part of the ABS pipe outside the kitchen, as well as snaking to the sewer line.

Steve went above and beyond. He took the time to troubleshoot thoroughly and test different possible repair options to save us money, but was very thoroughly to also ensure he got to the root of the problem. Rather than just giving up, he spent hours and left only when he was sure he had fixed all of the different issues we had. He had to cut thru the outside wall to replace the abs pipe and was very careful to keep the damage to exterior wall to a minimum and no damage anywhere else. He even took the time to explain everything to our landlord and ensure he was satisfied and pleased with the service, as well.

I hope to never have any other issues with plumbing again, but if anything else in our house needs it, we will definitely hire Steve again. I absolutely recommend Local Local to anyone experiencing plumbing issues.

City of Sewer just completed a job at my mothers home in West San Jose.  Their estimate came in at just over 5k, another company wanted 17k for the same work.  I watched them work, 5 guys came and replaced the sewer line from the house out under the driveway and lawn,  to the sidewalk/street.  They kept the yard clean and were professional.  Nothing sketchy about the company, a rarity these days.

We've had Eddie out a couple of times in the past, as the tree roots from our Liquid Amber tree have steadily done more and more damage to our main sewer line over the years. He's always been prompt, professional, and done a great job. So when it came time to replace our main line (which had many cracks and was surrounded by roots), we hired Eddie. He just finished the job several days ago, and I couldn't be more pleased. He replaced the clean-out by our house, installed a new main line (trenchless installation), and put in a city clean-out by the sidewalk. Eddie's great to work with, and I highly recommend him.

I thought my garbage disposal had failed and called Crown to replace it.  Salvador came right on time and checked it to see what the problem was.  Turned out there was nothing wrong with the disposal.  He checked the drain line and gave me some suggestions on how to make sure I didn't clog the line.  Very impressed with this honest company.

After my water heater went out, I called my warranty and they arranged a service call with Right plumbing . Had a technician in my house within a days and a replacement water heater within couple of hours. I can't say how grateful I am. With the cold weather approaching, no more cold showers. Technicians were very professional and quick. The whole process was extremely fast from start to finish and very convenient. Definitely made The right decision to give the business to right plumbing.

I called AAA affordable plumbing at 8 o'clock in the morning and spoke to Khan for a quote on replacing my water heater, got a quote and they came at 9 am and installed a new gas valve and water heater and were done by 11 am.Very professional crew, thanks to Eddie and Khan and their helper(don't know his name). I appreciated their work and timeliness. Great people and company.

When I saw the multitude of 5-Star reviews Drain Masters had received on Yelp, I decided to give these guys a job of fixing a leaking kitchen sink.
While the plumber showed up on time and  workmanship seems fine, I feel the $158.00 charged to replace a gasket and locknut assembly was just far too steep.

Seeing that the entire repair process took only 15 minutes, one might think that my inquiry about including snaking out the line for that price might have made it a more equitable deal.
No, that would be extra.

As you can see below, I used to think very highly of this company. But lately I have been trapped in a plumbing nightmare.

After the repipe job, I had a leak in a drain. Since the house was a rental and I wanted to make things better for the tenant, I decided to replace the drains in my house. I thought that WQP had done a good job with the repipe, so they were the logical choice to replace the drains. Seems that this was a mistake.

The day after the drains were replaced, there was a leak around the toilets. WQP fixed that. A month later, there was a leak from the repipe job in a pipe from the water heater. WQP fixed that. Then a month later, a drain pipe they replaced burst and spilled raw sewage beneath the basement. At my demand, WQP fixed that, but sent me an invoice of $330 invoice for a blocked drain!!! I insisted that the pipes be inspected by another plumber and brought to standard and Marty told me that this had been done. The final straw came when I had another plumber take a look and he wrote to me who ever did the inside under the house didn't do good of a job connecting to the existing sewer. It has what we call a belly which holds water in the pipe and it's not suppose to. The pipe should have a little bit of slope and no standing water.

Now my tenant has given notice that he is leaving and have submitted bills which I will have to pay.  I am furious.

I am now in discussion with Marty about getting this fixed and will update after some time lapsed to see if any other problems spring up.
