I was replacing a kitchen faucet.  The old one was 20 years old and heavily calcified.  Despite the threading gone, San Jose Drain & Main spent the time to hacksaw out the deteriorated fixture!  I felt this was going above and beyond.

Michael from EJ Plumbing showed up at 9:00 for the 9-11AM window I'd scheduled 2 days earlier.  He did a great job, installing a bathroom faucet, fixing a clogged drain, and replacing a toilet fill valve.  It was cheaper and faster than I expected and everything was clean when he left.

I really like EJ plumbing because EVERY TIME I call them I get great service, so my experience with Michael seemed typical for EJ. They are prompt, clean, do what they can, and are also very open about explaining other problems we might run into in our old place, without making me feel like they're selling future work.

Great service and very quick in responding. Changed out shower cartridge with no issues. Most other services don't respond as quickly.

I had a clog in my garage drain - folks from Local Rooter and Plumbing were super-responsive, they replied within 20 mins and were working on it the same day. (Did I mention it happened on Saturday?)

My kitchen sink is clogged. Some plumbing companies don't provide service for condo. Fortunately, United Plumbing did a great job. The staff is professional and the serive is of high quality.

He helped me fix my water heater thermonuclear and a year long clog in my bathroom sink that a job other plumbers were hesitate to take.  He has a friendly and positive attitude that is easy to work with.   If you have plumbing & water heater needs,  look no further, just give Mr. Khan a call!

Had a blockage (or two) in my sewage lateral a couple weeks ago, almost at the point it reaches the sewage main in the street.  I called Drain Masters, and Edward came out pronto and snaked the clogs out no problem with 125 ft snake.

The previous plumber I called couldn't reach the clog because his snake wasn't long enough, and told me I needed another clean line installed at the front of my house to solve the problem, which would have been about $1000 to install.  Edward called B.S. on that claim, and unjammed my lateral for a good price.

Thanks for the honest business, Edward.  I'll definitely call you for any future plumbing problems I have.

02/21/2012 - Edward stopped by to replace some valves under my bathroom vanity sink.  Was right on time, answered all my questions about my upcoming bathroom renovation, and was very fair with price.  Again, a very professional experience - I will definitely make Edward my go-to guy for my plumbing needs in the future.

My 2008 Toto toilet was leaking water and I wanted to hire a reliable, knowledgeable plumber who was knowledgeable about old fixtures.  I was hoping that I would not have to replace this toilet or wait weeks until parts were available.  I called Water Quality Plumbing and asked for Technician Jeff.  Jeff had replaced the original 1950 fixtures in my tub faucets about 10 years ago.
It is so pleasant working with Water Quality Plumbing, San Jose.  There is always someone on the phone to answer my calls and book an appointment.  Jeff showed up on the day of the appointment and within the time-frame scheduled.
Within an hour Jeff fixed the problem!  It was amazing; he actually had the three necessary parts in his truck!  It was such a relief to have this toilet fixed during this time of water conservation.  The cost to fix this Toto toilet was so reasonable.  I would have spent it on my water bill!

Vic is the best!  This morning the main sewer line was clogged at my moms house.  I freaked out, we had water pouring out of toilets and the shower as well.  Had about 2 inches of water in each bathroom and was running around trying to contain all the water.  I quickly yelped a plumber and chose Vic based on reviews.  I called two other places before him and they both went straight to voicemail.  I was trying reach who ever was closest but couldn't reach anyone.  Vic answered pretty much on the first ring and asked me about my situation.  Immediately he told me how much it would cost and he said he would be over anywhere between 30-45 mins.  He came in about 15.  I count myself so lucky to have found him.

We have used Gomez Plumbing twice this past year and have been extremely satisfied with everything from the initial contact, fee estimate, turnaround time on getting a plumber out and friendliness of everyone. We had the same problem twice (clogged kitchen sink from guests putting too much food down the drain) and the first time Gomez Plumbing came out, we originally reached out to multiple different plumbers. Their quick response, pleasant front office, and of course their extremely reasonable fee estimate made us choose them. The second time our kitchen sink had the same problem, we knew we would go back to them. I contacted Gomez Plumbing on a Sunday, expecting they couldn't get anyone until Monday but they advised they could send someone the same day if necessary! We were not home so set an appointment for Monday. The plumber arrived right on time, was very friendly, wore a mask and shoe covers, and worked efficiently to fix our kitchen sink/disposal. When he was done, he thoroughly cleaned the area he worked on. We highly recommend Gomez Plumbing!

Ivan did a great job clearing a drain backup, snaking the drain from a vent in the roof.  He was very professional and clean and responded quickly to a call.

We had our sewer line explode with effluent (feces and TP all over the lawn), it was clear that this was a job beyond the capability of me and my liquid plumber and Home Depot hand-crank snake. It was Saturday night and the prospects were grim (what do you do, take the family on potty trips to Safeway... that's a good way to earn an F as a husband). Super Plumber (secret identity Alex) was the closest to us that was available 24 hours. I called him and he said he would be there within the hour (wait what? not tomorrow between 8 AM and 2 PM?!?) Alex was prompt, assessed the situation (clog on the sewer line) and said that he would have it fixed in 20 minutes. He whipped out his impressively large snake (ha) and ran it through twice just to be sure there was no remaining obstruction. Overall, super responsive, super fast, super professional, and super reasonable price (considering it was Saturday night!)... I guess he is the Super Plumber.

Definitely do not hesitate to call him for your plumbing needs!

Any body can sale a new Water Heater. Not everybody can fix one. These Guys know Heaters and are total Pros. It took them 5 mins. to figure out what was wrong and repaired it at a fair price.

Cardinal plumbing was recommended by a friend who has owned a business related to plumbing for over 30 years.  The crew delivered everything as promised and then some on the repiping job.  Courteous, friendly, neat, and professional.  Water was shut off for only 8 hours at most.  End result:  Strong water pressure, clean copper sweating, neat stucco and sheetrock repair.  Thank you Van, Hai and crew.

With Yelps multi quotes options, Charles' initial response was the most detail in term of labor cost and potential causes. Since it was late in the evening, we planned to meet on the next afternoon for a no cost inspection. Next day, before a meeting happened, Charles proactively checked water meter box where the leak was. He root caused the issue to my service line and not the water utility meter box.
Due to my preference of how to fix the issue, I did not use Charles' service. However, his clear initial labor cost, professionalism and pro-activeness, I recommend you to contact Charley's Plumbing when selecting a plumbing company for your plumbing service.

Gladiator replaced the sewer line in my 60 year old house in May 2016.  The quote, guarantee, and work were good.  But, there was a problem with my sprinklers having very low pressure after Gladiator replaced the pipe.  Gladiator came out 2x to check the sprinklers and determined it was not due to their work, but instead I had too many sprinklers on a single line.  What I knew is that the sprinklers worked for 11 years before they came out and did not work after....a bit too much of coincidence for me.  Since Gladiator was unwilling to help, I had my gardener come see what he could do; he also felt I had too many sprinklers on one line, so I ok'd $500 for him to split the sprinklers across 2 lines.  After doing the work, the water pressure was still not working well, and we noticed it was bad in the backyard also.  Since my gardener was unable to fix the problem, I arranged for a professional irrigation company to come out and see what the problem was; before the irrigation company came out, my gardener rechecked everything and found the problem...Gladiator had not fully opened the water line after their work; once my gardener opened the line fully, the sprinklers in front and back worked great.  

I think Gladiator did good work replacing the sewer line, but they get 2 stars from me for their inability to diagnose such a simple problem, and causing me extra work and money.
