Best Tankless Water Heater Repa… in San Jose CA
I had a leak in the ceiling and called San Jose Drain and Main. They sent someone out that afternoon. Giovanni accessed the problem and immediately determined the issue. He was professional, kind and honest. He gave me a couple of options and discussed the best solution. Living in an older home I have other work that I need to get done and have put off because the plumbers I have used in the past I did not have a good feeling about. I have already recommended San Jose Drain and Main to other friends. Outstanding service! Highly recommend.

We had our water heater replaced by EJ Plumbing about a month ago and that was a great experience. Unfortunately, the pilot light on the new heater went out today (possibly caused by fans and dehumidifiers we had nearby for another unrelated issue) and I couldn't get the pilot light to come back up on my own. I called EJ with the problem. Greg and Alex (I hope I got their names right) came within the hour, fixed the problem quickly at no charge because it was within the 1 year installation warranty and were the most pleasant technicians I've ever encountered. Superb customer service. Would recommend.

Our toilet kept flushing this morning so we needed some immediate fix. So glad that we found Marco. He was extremely professional and responsive throughout the process. After his first visit, we determined that buying a new toilet was the better option than fixing the old one after a few tries. He offered to go to Home Depot for us, install the new one, and haul the old one away. Everything was done within the same day, and it was extremely smooth. He also waived the charge for his first visit because of the new install, which meant a lot to us.
It was a pleasure to have Marco and team help with our plumbing needs. Will definitely reach out in the future if other needs arise.

Marlon did an amazing job at installing my water heater today. Professional, reasonable with his pricing, on-time, knowledgeable, and dependable. I highly recommend him.

We have had heater problems for months. After having gone through 2 other repairmen, united plumbing came, took extra time to diagnose the issues, and fixed our heater. Very kind and respectful, wore covers on their boots in our home, and took time to check for gas leaks. I highly recommend United Plumbing. As a bonus, our technician was a refugee from Ukraine. Not sure if it was an active effort by United plumbing to hire from there, but good on them.

Love that they gave three price points, and love that they went under the house and took a video of the problem to show me. They did a great job replacing what needed to be replaced, at a fair price. They cleaned up, and disinfected the area afterwards, and later down new plastic under the house!

We did a renovation of our upstairs bathroom and needed a plumber to do the finishing touches such as: reinstalling our toilet, reinstalling our vanity sinks' p-traps, putting the shower faucet trim over our already installed valve, and also installing our rain shower. Ty and Hoang were sensational. They arrived promptly on time. They got right to work very seriously and professionally making sure at all times that we were pleased with their performance. They ran into a couple of equipment glitches that was not their fault (but rather it was ours) in terms of us not having the right materials on hand, but they were able to save the day by going into their truck and getting the materials needed for the correct resolution of the job. When they completed the job that we had originally requested, we asked them if we could pay extra to have our downstairs toilet's fill valve and flapper replaced because it had been running occasionally during both the day and night and obviously needed a fix. When I
inquired how much extra they would charge us for this additional work, they replied that it was FREE!... Who the hell says THAT these days??
In summary, Ty and Hoang were great. The price and quality of their job performance was excellent and therefore I highly recommend King Kong Plumbing and would never hesitate to use them again for any and all of my future plumbing needs. I suggest that all readers of this review do likewise!

Super excited that I found a great plumber. Very professional, prompt, text his eta, and completed a leaking valve job in record time. Kiet noted a couple other areas I should keep an eye on. His price was very reasonable and he is my go to guy from now on. Highly recommend this company!!

Apparently, this is our month for unexpected home repairs. First, we had to fumagate for termites, and before we could even get the roofer out to fix the termite damage, we discover a slab leak. We called Khan from AAA and he was at our house in a hot minute. Turns out he lives in my neighborhood. He confirmed what we suspected and scheduled our house for a repipe. Basically, they reroute the pipes to avoid having the messy, invasive, time consuming process of tearing up the floors and jack hammering the foundation to fix the leak which can lead to leaks in other areas of the slab foundation. So many of our friends and family said that we made the right decision of repiping, but it doesn't make the process less stressful. My anxiety was triggered! Khan showed up Wednesday (4/13/22) morning with about 4 guys and they quickly went to work. Some pipes were routed outside to avoid having to rip open walls. Honestly, it is not the prettiest looking from the outside IMO, but it is functional. The bathroom pipes were rerouted thru the attic. The entire job took about 7 hours from start to finish. Khan even brought us lunch! Khan also had one of his guys patch up the holes in the bathroom walls and also remove the old solar pipe in the water heater closet that were left behind by the previous homeowners. We did have a minor ceiling leak from the old fridge line that should have been capped, an under kitchen sink leak that needed tape and an adjustment and the backyard spout that needed to be tightened. Khan did return with his guys to repair these issues. Now back to my regularly scheduled life already in progress.

Ivan from Gomez Plumbing came out today to fix a Kohler toilet that hadn't been working right for months (slow and partial flush) and he diagnosed the problem quickly (adjusting the water level in the tank) and fixed it in two minutes. He did the same for the other Kohler toilet I had. I'd had a different plumbing company come out twice in the last 6-8 months and that plumber hadn't been able to fix the problem (and had charged me for two visits, mostly to snake out the drain--which wasn't even the problem--even though I'd told him I thought the problem was that toilet itself). Since Ivan's whole visit only took a few minutes and I had told him about having had another plumber out twice without the problem being fixed, Ivan kindly only charged me their travel fee, which was very reasonable. I'd also had Gomez Plumbing come out a couple of years ago to clean out the main sewer line from the house to the street when my washing machine in the garage backed up into the house through the toilet near the garage due to a blockage in the sewer line, and Santos Gomez was the first plumber in a number of years to be able to find the clean-out (buried under plants and dirt) in my front yard and he fixed the drainage problem. So Gomez Plumbing will now be my regular plumber. (My previous long-time plumber had retired.) Both Ivan and Santos seem very knowledgeable, ethical, and skilled.

Requested a quote in the AM and Kevin scheduled Jimmy to come by the afternoon. The service was quick and decently price for an emergency. Thanks Jimmy for the help! Give that man a bonus!

Twice now I've had the very BEST service!!! Great smile, kind, and so very professional. When you receive service beyond reproach, with honest and integrity, you know you've got a winner!! Thanks again for fixing my drain and toilet: from San Leandro...

I called Patterson Plumbing on a Tuesday because I needed a copper waterline run for my new barbeque . Wednesday Jose came to my home to quote the project. He gave me a quote and scheduled the work for Thursday at 1PM.
He arrived right on time and got right to work. Very personable and explained what he was doing and why. He listened to my requests and finished up in two hours.
I would use this company, and request Jose , for any plumbing problem in the future.
Thanks for job well done.....Mike in LA Mesa

Call them for a repair refer from the manufacture. They were the only one that answer their phone from a list of 3 places. Very courteous, professional, and friendly. Schedule me in the earliest time slot they had and took down all the information they needed to order parts for the repair. Then came out on time and did the repair and explains things out very thoroughly. The tech was very friendly and knowledgeable during his repair. Thank you for the great work.

Amazing service from these guys! They fixed a leak at our water main. I was impressed at how hard they worked to solve the problem and how friendly they were. Super nice guys and took the time to look at some other unrelated issues we were having with our plumbing. Would absolutely recommend them and have them on my list now as the first plumbers I would call next time I need one.

My water heater repair request was sent to 5 service providers randomly by Yelp, and JM plumbing was one of the three responded within an hour. Although their quote was not the cheapest and they had no reviews in Yelp, but I was convinced they were the best technician for the job because how sincere and knowledgeable they showed over the conversation. I did not regret my choice. JM was very responsive to requests and flexible on schedule. They got job done professionally.

Short Version:
If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Amazing company, absolutely perfect, 110% recommend! They will come to your home to explain everything and provide tons of information, there will be no pressure at all to hire them, and if you go with them, you will be blown away at what an amazing job they do. Not to mention that a team of brothers runs the company. The are incredibly professional and friendly, do top notch work, and fix anything you need to make sure the job is perfect. This is the kind of company I actually feel HAPPY to give my hard-earned money to.
Long Version:
Like many other homeowners, our 1970's galvanized steel pipes had reached the end of their lifespan, and we needed a repipe. We did our research and decided copper was the way to go as opposed to PEX. We called around and had several companies come out to give a sales pitch and bid.
Some things we learned along the way - you can repipe with PEX (plastic) or copper. Do your homework to see what is right for you, but we chose copper. When you are looking for a company to do copper, make sure to ask lots of questions, such as - How long will this take? What kind of copper do you use? How many workers will you have at my house? Do you drywall, patch, and texture, and does that cost extra? And maybe most importantly, how long will I be without water???
I found most companies tell you it will take about a week, and you will be without water for 1-3 days. If you are anything other than a single guy who can go without showering and cooking for a few days, this is obviously a problem. Gladiator get's it done in one day. The other thing to look out for, is that some companies come in and install new pipes right next to your old ones. When everything is done, they cut the old ones, connect the new ones, and they are done. This is good because you are without water for a very short time (as you continue using your old pipes while they install your new pipes), but it sucks for your house, because they have to cut through things to install the new pipe runs. Gladiator avoids this by cutting all your old pipes out, and installing new pipes in the same spot, all in ONE DAY.
Gladiator comes shows up on repipe day with an ARMY of workers. They are all on time, friendly, and professionally dressed. They send workers into every part of your house. We literally had guys working upstairs, downstairs, under the house, in the garage, and in the front yard, and back yard, SIMULTANEOUSLY! They cut out all the old, and completely repiped the whole house, including a new line to the water meter, all in one day. The next day, a worker came to drywall, patch, and texture holes in walls (made during repipe to access pipe locations).
Everything came out perfect. We have such amazing water flow now. This company has master plumbers, so if you have any other jobs you need done, like water softeners installed, etc, these guys can take of it.
Basically, what can I say. I just just blown away but what an amazing company this is. If everyone ran their company like these guys do, the world would be a better place.
Their prices are very reasonable compared to the competition. You will probably pay a little bit more for Gladiator, but they are WORTH EVERY PENNY. Do not hire some crap company to save a little money on a huge job like a repipe. These guys are super professional, use the highest quality materials, are extremely friendly and pleasant to deal with, and address any issues or concerns you may have immediately. Just a top notch outfit.
Thank you Gladiator for the work you guys do. You made our repipe a totally stress-free, great experience. You are guys are the best. I will be recommending you to all my friends.

Thank you 5 Star Plumbing for coming to the rescue when my shower got clogged! As a woman with long hair, it's inevitable for the drain to clog from time to time. I was having visitors come over and needed to have this situation fixed ASAP! I called 5 Star Plumbing and they gave me a reasonable quote and were able to come super fast! They did a great job and offered tips on how to prevent future clogs. Thanks for the fast service and well trained staff!

Very disappointing experience, the only good things I have to say is that the person arrived on time and was generally polite, but that's where the good ended. I had a plastic object stock in the toilet and all he did was run the snake for 5 minutes and then tell me that it would be easier to change the whole toilet and charged $89 for it. The whole reason I called a plumber is because I wanted a professional handling it, well that's definitely not what I got. Every question I asked, instead of giving a suggestion or recommendation he would just quote prices, it became clear to me that ether fixing was not his main concern or he didn't know what he was talking about. Once he left, I used the snake myself and in about 10 minutes was able to push the item out. Honestly, don't waist your money, just get a snake from a store for half the price, that's all they use to fix blockages anyway, and if that doesn't work find another place because this place will just give up and suggest to get a new toilet. In his defense it could have been his first day on the job, he seemed new at it, that would explain why other reviews had better experience. I just would think in a business like plumbing the company would try hard to get returning clients.

These guys are a joke. Had them recently come out for an estimate for a water softener replacement. During the initial consult, the plumber asked what I do for work (not really any of their business, but sure, told them. Red flag number one). Was promised estimate next day, never received it and had to follow up two days later (as well as receiving multiple calls and texts from dispatch scheduling the original appointment that was already completed). I'm assuming this is due to the fact they outsource and subcontract their dispatch and plumbers. Get your appointment system fixed. Finally received the estimate, was quoted $6500 for a simple water softener replacement! Gotten estimates elsewhere and it was $3k on the high end for a water softener replacement. Laughably ridiculous, and a big waste of time. Avoid.
