Best Pipe Repair in San Jose CA

The old outside spigot was corroded from rust.  The worn out valve created a high pitch whistle noise when the timer turns on for the drip system due to fast water flowing through a narrow restriction.  I could identify the problem but we could not replace the valve ourselves.  Called SJ Drain and Main and they changed the whole spigot with proper tools and strength.  Fast service and reasonably priced.

I called them on Christmas day to fix a block from the house to the main line. The bathtub and toilets were blocked with standing water. I was trying to find somebody who'd come out and fix the problem. I called EJ plumbing and they said they'd try to find somebody who can come out today but there was no guarantee. Somebody did call and come out within the hour.

It took around 45 minutes for Ray to fix it. He explained things a bit which was helpful. Since my house didn't have a clean out, he had to get to the roof to insert the snake in the vent. It cost $400 (extra for having to get on the roof) which may be a bit expensive from what I can tell so far, but the prompt service was great and given that this was a holiday, I have no complaints!

Replaced the bathroom faucet unit. Responsive to quote request. Reasonable quote. Show up on time. Work done as expected. A service you can trust. Will do business with again in the future.

Michael Sosa has done several plumbing repairs for us over the last year, Today he replaced a 30 year old garbage disposal and then snaked the bathroom sink. Khoa (owner) is the Sherlock Holmes in Plumbing and I'm not kidding. Long story short: He saved us tens of thousands of dollars and the troubles and anxiety along with the fixing with his honesty and professionalism.

Here's the long story.
Last year, our sewer was stuck and we called up a company (let's call it company W). The team from company W found some roots in the pipe beneath one of our toilets and they proposed to dig up the concrete and replace the pipe. With no experience in handling plumbing issues, we bought in, thinking it might be the right thing to do given other two consultations gave similar suggestions. Company W dug up all the concrete around the toilet, made the fix and charged us thousands. After the fix, they checked the pipe with a camera and said it looked OK. There might be a tiny bit of root in the later section in the main line pipe but it should be fine to last for quite some years.
This year, we found roots again in the later section. We called up the same company W to inspect. Two guys showed up (M and A, A was part of the team who did the job last year). Without fully pinpointing where the roots came in, M started talking about how serious it was and proposed similar fix as last time: dig up all the concrete along the pipe and replace it. Except this time it would be all the concrete along the pipe and would go across two rooms. He also talked about how contractors would charge us 20-30k if you find some to do the job; but they would try their best to save our foundation structure and the walls. M said he would send the quote next day.
We felt something was fishy. Why didn't they pinpoint where the crack was first before proposing such a destructive plan? And didn't they tell us things would be OK for some years after the fix last year? Then through a friend's referral, we found Capitol Plumbing. Khoa showed up with another plumber in the weekend morning. After hearing detailed description from us, they first spent more than 30min checking the routing of the whole sewer system by running facet water. They had a plan. Then they spent the next 1.5 hours cleaning the roots and further diagnosed where the root entrance was. After they cleaned up everything, Khoa told us how to maintain root free in the sewer. He also told us similar stories about how other plumbing companies exaggerating situations and talking customers into doing much bigger projects than necessary.

Khoa charged us very reasonable price in the end. Most importantly, he saved us all the trauma going through a destructive project.

Excellent and honest service.

Discovered the water main line was leaking after receiving  a huge water bill.   It was a Sunday when we called around for someone to come and give a quote but no one had any availability.   After a quick phone call, I texted Duy our address and he came at the promised time that day! Gave us a reasonable fair quote and started that day!

It was a pretty big job and included getting a city permit and inspection but everything was handled by them. They even filed a fee credit application with the city to help get back the charges caused by the leak.

Hopefully I won't have to call them for anything else, but if for some reason I have a plumbing issue Duy will be my first call.

I called Todd on Sunday afternoon because the toilets and showers were not draining and he showed up about 20 mins later. He gave a free estimate for the work and was up on the roof evaluating the problem, not hesitating to go up or down the ladder as needed on a really hot day (95 degrees). His quote was very reasonable so we decided to go forward and proceed to clear the drains. He found our initial problem was not as much work as he originally quoted and adjusted his price accordingly instead of hiding the true cost of the work. He also gave us the footage of our drain system in case we ever need it in the future.

No BS, he just got right down to helping us fix our issue quickly and affordably. Will definitely be saving his number in my phone for any future issues and would highly recommend Todd!

Our guy replaced the water faucet at the back of the house and finally it isn' leaking!

It never fails that when it's the weekend, something always goes wrong.  The shower handle broke off and we couldn't get the water to stop.  Had to fully shut the water down in the house.  Reached out to Always Rescue close to midnight and they agreed to come out first thing at 8 AM.  The technician was on time, identified the issue, went to the store to purchase the replacement valve that we needed for the shower handle and we were back in business in about 1.5 hours.  Service was great and I appreciated it that someone answered the phone when it was close to midnight.  Definitely will use them again for any other issues that may come up.

This guy is great. Super responsive, even on weekends, reasonable pricing, helpful explanations. Highly recommended. He recognized me in Home Depot even with a mask on! He wore a mask and was clearly safety/COVID compliant.

Kahn and his crew are amazing. They came through clutch for my family. You never really know how important your plumbing system is until you lose it. Kahn came by and explained everything. He was here less then an hour and went the extra step to clear the blockage. They kept everything clean and even re-mounted the toilet. The cost was very reasonable for the service. Rental house was just purchased (bank owned) as is, new tenants just moved in. There were many plumbing issues that needed to be worked on. Main problem was when the second floor toiled flushed, water came out of bathtub drain. Yukk.
Called Drain Masters through my real estate office recommendation from other agent who used them all the time, and Yelp reviews. They were out at the house the next day just as they promised. Since there was no cleanout line outside the house, they had to remove the toilet in the garage to access the main drain line. They reinstalled the toilet with a new wax seal and asked us to try it again. It had improved 70%, but the upstairs was still draining slow.
The 1/2 bath in the garage was an add on that was planning to be removed anyway. Demolished the 1/2 bath in the garage and the problem became obvious. They came back the second time and replaced the drain from the upstairs bathtub using the ceiling access from the garage. The drain was clogged and leaking and they replaced it with a new drain, overflow, J pipe etc. It was a 100% improvement and now all the drains worked like new.
The bill for replacing the complete drain and for 2 day's work was amazingly reasonable. I was expecting at least twice that amount, based on paying other plumbers for similar work.
I don't get impressed by someone doing the job they are paid to do, but I can honestly say that these guys went way above and beyond what I expected.

After discovering a rapid leak under my house, I phoned my home warranty company and had them send someone out to take a look as covered under my warranty. Took them a week to come out and all they did was take one look and claim it was faulty workmanship, which is not covered under warranty.

They recommended a full Repipe since whoever had been under there last had fitted a galvanized steel connector directly to copper, which is big no no in the plumbing world, but had nothing to do with my leak.

I spoke to several companies and got quotes from three. Water Quality was the only one that provided detailed justifications on timeline and costs. They were very focused on quality and doing things to code. And in the end, their prices seemed the best and I decided to go with them.

I worked from home the week they installed the pipe and got to see a lot of their work first hand. They replaced all my horizontal pipe with copper and also my main line. I was impressed by their attention to detail and the thoroughness of their work. They stuck to schedule throughout the job and delivered exactly what they promised.

In the end, I had to spend quite a bit of money unexpectedly to fix a minor leak, but  I felt really good about the quality of their work. I have peace of mind knowing that my pipes will deliver cleaner water (we had a lot of rust in our old pipes) and will last a very long time.

Vic has installed two low flush toilets at my house within the last 6 months. One of the toilets was a skirted toilet and it was a more complex installation than most toilets.

Vic is very knowledgeable about plumbing and explained to me what he was doing in a way that a non-plumber could understand. He believes in doing the job right so that other problems are not created in the future.

He's prompt to answer phone calls or voicemails, shows up on time, and is very professional and courteous. He's also very respectful of your house by wearing booties in the house, covering the old toilet and parts with a cover when he removes them so that nothing drips on the carpet and cleans his work area up after he is finished.

He is also a good family man with good values and ethics and he believes in being fair with his customers.
