Best Faucet Repair in San Jose CA

I don't write reviews.  This is my first.   But had to write about these guys because they are a good business.   My main line was backed up with a very slow drain.  Spoke with Giovanni on the phone and he explained the potential cost (phone quote and explained two sets of costs based on what access they had).  Giovanni and his crew came out.  Professional guys,  knowledgeable, and friendly.   Gave me a heads up on some improvements but no hard sell. Did the work for the quoted price and quick.   Showed me the problem and explained potential future problems and how to avoid them.   Great overall experience and would highly recommend for any plumbing issues.

EJ plumbing was awesome. We had backflow issues in both bathrooms - Ray got that stuff sorted out and also quickly diagnosed that our local city line was having overflow issues as well. We called the city and they were out within the hour, and had the problem fixed shortly. Ray was friendly and extremely helpful - highly recommended!

Efficient, polite and amazing! Explain the cause of the leak and fix it in no time! Very knowledgeable and honest. Will definitely use them again in the future!

Handy Plumbing Man sent Marvin to flush and descale my tankless water heater. He actually arrived early. He was professional and respectful. On top of that he educated me on the purpose of what he was doing and the value it would provide to our water. He answered any questions with thoughtfulness and made sure I had no concerns before leaving.

Marvin represented the Company well and I will do business again with them in the future.

J & K pluming just finished my corroded kitchen sink drain. No one was able to come on Feb 14th but they were able to come the next morning. Another company said earliest was Sunday. Without a kitchen sink dishes get piled up fast and meal prep is just reheating in a microwave. At least my wife and I defaulted to a romantic pizza dinner with the kids.

The Full Story:

I had changed out the garbage disposal because it was draining so slow. I also installed a water filter too since I was already under the sink. A day later, I noticed a leak after the P trap. Great.

Took everything off and found out the galvanized pipe was so corroded that it was missing treads. I hacksawed the bad threads off and thought that did it. However, when I was cleaning the rest off, I was able to push through with my finger. It was rusted through. $&@#. I took off the 2 portion to replace but it ended up cracking off. I got some wire brushes and cleaned the treads to the 90 deg elbow. It turned out that there was also missing threads from corrosion.‍

I went to the hardware store and picked up an elbow, 4 extension, and some couplings. However, the elbow was too close to the exterior wall to remove the elbow. I tried to force the 4 extension onto the elbow hoping it would go on and clear the bits that were left behind. I was able to turn a half a turn and seemed tight enough. Put everything together and ran the water,  sill leaking.

My options: 1) cut the elbow and try to get the new elbow on. Bad idea because no clearance to turn the elbow on. 2) Remove straight piece, put the elbow on, then replace straight piece. However, I wouldn't be able to see if it was leaking since it was behind an area that would have required removing cabinets to access the pipe. 3) Call the professionals in.

I had to get the professionals in. Wife gave me some good advice not to spend too much time on this. It could have gotten worse and worse going down a rabbit hole where I might have to change the entire plumbing. Glad I listened and quit while I was ahead. Besides they have all the proper tools to get the job done right.

So covered the exposed drain with a plastic bag and a rubber band to prevent sewage fumes from entering the home.  Plugged the sink and called, well yelped for a free quote first.

No one called back within the response time. Called directly starting with the quickest response time. Left a message. They called back and said the earliest was Sunday. Recommended to call other places. Called the second fastest response time and said they could do Saturday. I asked if they can do Friday and thank God they were able to between 10-12. You're hired.

Joe asked to send pictures so he could give me a quote. Reasonably priced.

So today, they came within the time frame. He tried to get the 4 pipe with sealant on to save me some money. However, it wouldn't seal and it was still dripping. No choice but to cut the elbow off and reconnect with plastic pipes and  couplings.

The cost to cut the elbow was slightly more but not outrageous and the job was tested before leaving. Thanks again guys for the great service and great price.

Now I can get back to washing the dishes and making meals the normal way again.

Made a request for new toilet installation. Daniel, the owner, was very responsive and was ready to come out the following day. 2 days later we set an appointment and the tech, Hugo, finished the job in an hour. Have had no problems with the installation and job was cleanly done. Would not hesitate to use them again for future needs.

Steve and his team did a great job working on a stopped drain for me.  I had a great experience working with them, from the beginning to the end!

I messaged Local Local on Yelp, and got a prompt response from them. They suggested a few different times (all sooner than I expected they could do!), and came promptly as scheduled. They were professional and courteous, giving an honest explanation of the situation and the work they were doing. They were efficient at the work, and Steve inspected the affected pipe to check for any other issues while the technician cleaned up after doing the rooting work.

All in all, they did great work, and I'd recommend them to anybody in need of a prompt and reliable plumber!

Eddy is extremely helpful. We got his help even on a Sunday. Our house was covered by a home warranty but the contractor they assigned was extremely unprofessional and didn't what he was doing, and even gave us a quote of over $1000 to fix a simple issue. We contacted Eddy and he responded immediately. He went ahead and snaked all of our pipes. He also helped to replace the defective P trap for us. Eddy is the plumber you can trust. He knows what he is/will be doing and provide a reasonable quote.

Ed was really helpful and fixed our plumbing problems! He provided me with options and suggestions for fixing our slow drainage across the toilet and sink . He didn't rush through and did the job diligently . I highly recommend his services

Super fast service! I texted my address and they were out within 10 minutes. Had to negotiate the price down a little since another plumber told me it would be cheaper, but they were nice about it.

Had a backed-up pipes (it was overflowing, gross) and found them on Yelp.  They came when they said they would (in 90 mins) and cleared up the pipes in an hour.  They wore shoe covers, were professional and got the job done with a 60 day warranty.  Reasonable price - $125 to unclog the drain.  Exactly what I was looking for and will definately use them again.

We needed a water softener to be installed in our rental. Jason came over and gave me an estimate, the work started the following week. It was done in one day, it was a very rainy day and the installer worked through the day and did an excellent job.

Vic did a wonderful job. We needed routine maintenance on our home, snake the drains, minor repairs, water pressure check. Vic is polite, reasonable, honest and straightforward. Price estimate was given over the phone. He asked that I send a few pictures which helped him estimate the work. He arrived within an hour and quickly assessed the situation. Original price estimate was respected, and  he recommended some add-on services which seemed like a good idea. He will definitely be the first number I call next time I need something done for my plumbing.

Vic respected COVID-19 social distancing recommendations.

Fixed the shower issue we were having where the faucets were not working properly.    Replaced one of the cartridges and the other one was a refurbished unit.    Plumber says he will come back to replace that refurbished one with a new one but still waiting for that.  

He helped with a few other issues and all in all seemed like a nice guy willing to help out with any issues that we had.     Once the other cartridge is replaced, I'll bump it up to a 5.    It's been a week and no word back from him or the office so far....

If you live in the Foster City area just ask for Greg! You will be so happy. This company and its employees are so knowledgeable and helpful. I recommend Greg and wizard plumbing 100%.

I am so happy we found Bueno Pluming as we were desperate to replace the toilet in our master bedroom. We got stood and strung along by another plumber for two weeks and I was getting very frustrated. So I called Bueno and they agreed to come the next day between 8-11am. Kevin showed  up on time approximately 8.30 and started working . We had already bought a new toilet and didn't check to see if it was damaged. Apparently it was and this added more to our frustration. But Kevin was very understanding and took the damaged toilet to return and picked up a new one and he was extremely nice to pay on his card to avoid any further problem. He did a great job and was very fast, and very knowledgeable and helpful. I wish we could find people like him, and when you're in dire need, this makes a world of difference!!! The best and quick to respond. Very professional and hats off to being such a great help!
