Upon using Yelp's feature & having professional experts contact us made everyday simple things less challenging.  This company was concise in their service fees associated with remedies.  Tho we needed a water softener install plus an indoor shut off value update & repair, our immediate needs became apparent.  We opted for only doing the line with pex*.  Goodness gracious, I hope I'm using the appropriate terminology in this review ;) .

We were delighted when Winters explained what was needed in our amended plumbing job, arrived when promised, waived the service fee (omitted upon verbal agreement/payment).  I assumed this much as we hired them upon the IRL visual pricing.   Winters texted us when their person (Donnie) was on his way in the morning of.  We received a text so we would know who was coming & ETA of arrival.  

Donnie arrived when he said he was going to, explained what was required, preformed exceptionally well, no additional mess was present after the job was done, & the best part is that Donnie didn't try to overwhelm us with unnecessary services that we didn't need or thought we ought to want.   Love love love that aspect of hiring Winters.  The best part of Winters is that they are local.

*Pex is used nowadays per the licensed plumbers we spoke to in lieu of copper sweating.

Just moved to Indy and apparently Indy have one of the most hardest water in the states. Called in and brought in bunch of salesmen. Out of all of them, we liked cooper's water the best. Scott, the owner, came out and sold us on the water softener and the drinking water system. We thought the price was fair. He did offer discounts for paying cash. The installer was quick and kind. We had no problem with him. The drinking water system we've got was bit bigger than I thought. It takes up half of my bottom of the sink area. So far, our water system is working nicely. I will see if something breaks, how their customer service will be. They do have 7 years warranty on all of their water softener I believe. So far, I do recommend this company.

BEWARE.  Hope Plumbing works on a 'contract' basis, not hourly.  We saw the signs around the neighborhood and called to fix a dripping shower.  Total time to fix the drop: 45 minutes.   Total bill: $231 ($163 is the standard faucet repair).   I called to check on why such a steep charge, thinking $100 would be reasonable.   It was explained that all faucet repairs are $163, plus parts.   For such a minor job I recommend going with a handyman, not Hope Plumbing.

Dan came out the next morning to diagnose the leak in my front yard.  He was very professional, nice, and good at communicating the issues.  They ended up not doing the repair because the problem was with the irrigation system.  I would use them in a heart beat next time I need plumbing work done!  Highly recommend.

Although Adam wasn't able to fix my problem he  was direct and I feel very honest about the situation.  There wasn't any way around needing to replace the water heater.  I tried myself to remove the leaky hose and it was as if the coupling had been welded to the inlet.  Any more pressure and I would've probably broken off the inlet.

Two days to get a mini-split expert to our location, diagnosed a problem repair using guesswork. Quoted $500+ dollars for a warranty repair that covered parts. Time and materials is what is expected, they charge for knowledge, which was more guesswork that diagnosis.

My experience with this company was very pleasant and professional. I initiated a request for someone to come out online and was called the following weekday. The plumber was extremely courteous and professional.

I had Mike out to do some work on a hot tub in a new house.  He was helpful and beyond the work told me where to get parts so I could work on things myself.  That's the mark of a
Contractor that's got enough work they don't care about you doing some of the work to cut costs.

Bob is a really great guy who did not hesitate to give me some great common sense advice regarding our rocking horse toilet. He quoted me a fair price and was honest. This guy is great! He is  officially my go to guy for all my future plumbing needs!

We moved into a house with a root in our sewer they were amazing working with us and our title company. Then they came out right after settlement and did the job in one day! They were all so polite. If I ever need any other plumbing work I will always use them!

Howald provided exceptional service again. Howald is our go-to for our HVAC needs including replace our complete system 5 years ago.  We had a plumbing issues so I called them. Wow!! They were able to address our shower issue in one call and serviced our other shower as well. I thought it was a valve issue, but their technician (Sam) determined it was a completely clogged filter.  He had us up in running (water) in no time.  Now our visiting family members have their own shower! I don't understand what happened to this company. I have used them for preventative maintenance and they were fine. I used them again about 4 months ago to install a new water heater and do some modifications to my furnace air handling system in the house I had just purchased and they did that just fine. So when my furnace stopped working today (about 4:15am Saturday morning, 35 degrees outside) I called them again. Their website says they have 24/7 emergency service. The answering service told me nobody would call till normal business hours which I took to mean Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. I reminded them that their website says they offer 24/7 emergency service so they said they would make a note that this was an emergency. No technician called so I called back 50 minutes later. It took the answering service almost 7 minutes to even answer my call. Told them no one had called and they said they would update the message but still didn't say anyone would call. Waited 15 minutes. No technician called. Finally called the owners cell phone number which I had from when he came out to bid the air handler modification. It's now been 2.5 hours and neither the owner or any technician has called. If they aren't going to do after hours emergency service then they should update their website.
UPDATE: Evidently the reason the repair technician didn't call was because the after hours phone answering service failed completely to do their job. The owner returned my call at 7:42 this morning to say he is personally contacting the technician who is on call. Technician called me 10 minutes later and said he would be there in about 75 minutes. Technician arrived when he said he would and after a brief inspection determined what was wrong. He had to leave and pick up a new part from a supply house. Upon his return he quickly installed the part which fixed the problem and my furnace is back up and running. I am thankful they were able to get this taken care of because I definitely didn't want to look for a new heating and cooling company.

After fixing my first issue, I called Mike for help with high water pressure. Mike jr came out, worked his magic and put a pressure value in where the water comes into the house. He was quick, efficient and easy to work with. This family is amazing and I highly recommend Maxwell & Sons for your plumbing needs.

After having a horrible experience with the big local plumber, we called Weilhammer and had a great experience!  We had two toilets running, and they were prompt to respond, on time, and a fraction of the price the other guys wanted to charged!

We have recommended them to several friends after my parents made the same mistake with the other company.

We have been a customer of Godby for probably over 10 years. We are on their Club Godby. I'll say they have very good service however,  I called to have them look at a couple of things. There is a $99 service call which is fine. We needed a frost free outside spigot repaired and Gary the technician (who has been here before and is a nice guy) gave me the estimate to replace one outside faucet (spigot) and I was shocked. I expected it to be over $200.? but it was over $400. Labor is over $200 per hour. I told Gary to forget it and paid the $99 call fee. We will be looking for another HVAC and plumbing company. BTW, the 3 stars were for their service. If I had to give a star rating on pricing, it would be a one.

We are taking quotes from several companies now for a new blower/or AC unit...Josh from Action Air just came by and he was WONDERFUL. Convinced us of the quality of Action Air's products and services and the ethicality of the company as a whole. He was very knowledgeable, personable, not rushed, and willing to work with us! We are very impressed with Action Air and Josh. Action Air should be proud to have individuals like that working for them!

Called and scheduled an appointment for a few weeks ago to clean the coils and inspect our ac before it really got hot out. The day of the service they called and cancelled because there were more pressing jobs. Fast forward to now and my ac is not working, called Mower and they came over within a couple hours and found my line is frozen and more than likely due to a freon leak. The system has been working but not the greatest for a little bit now and would have been caught during the service I scheduled before the heat wave...  Don't advertise a service and then cancel, when you preach about continual maintenance and then do not have time for it I can tell you it's extremely frustrating.

This company has a strong and effective appointment and communication system . today one of their technicians (Russell) did us a huge favor by finding a break in our main drain. He was here for a completely different reason  and it would have gone undetected for far too long without his discovery. Thank you Russell!
