I called this company after having assurance plumbing out and they didn't know what they were doing. Ryan and Gage responded quickly and reassured me that they would come out and give a price and get the work done immediately to get hot water back in my house. They came gave a good price l, when and picked up the tankless hot water heater and installed the next day. They were not pushy on what to do and made recommendations to get a water softener but again not pushy. They will be coming out to install my water softener here in the next week.

My bathtub stopper has been not fully keeping water in the bathtub for quite some time. Mac's plumbing responded within 12 hours and had the issue fixed within 48 hours. Incredibly responsive and very fair with pricing.

Called Blake after I noticed my slide room got wet during a rainstorm. Was in a panic because we are full time, and my husband was out of town working. Blake got Brittany out right away the same day. She was very courteous and pleasant. Blake followed up to make sure I was happy with the repairs. Very honest people, highly recommend.

Quentin did a hot water replacement in a rental I own, and replaced a couple toilets. The floor under one was rotten from leaks and he did a good job of repair, re-floor (vinyl sheet flooring) and replacing toilets. All done quickly and coordinated from out of state. Highly recommend.

King's employees were professional and addressed my concerns and questions. I've used them before for a bathroom issue and water heater installation. These guys are fair and know what they are doing. Quite satisfied with the work they have done for me.

Called for Mark Plecker, at the advice of a friend, at 9:30 am on Monday morning to address an emergency (self induced) bathroom shower leak (Folks, be careful trying to change your leaking shower cartridges if you have calcium build up - you may just damage your copper pipes, as we did). Monday AM our water had been off for 12 hours, and I was desperate. I had called a 24/7 plumbing company late Sunday night, which gave me an estimate of $1700! Mr. Plecker rearranged his schedule Monday and was at our home promptly for our 1pm appt. He had estimated between 1.5 to 3 hours of labor and was done, woohoo!, in 1.5 hours (which included his drive time). At the end of the job he took time to discuss next steps and gave great advice on other plumbing concerns we have. I could not recommend him more, especially give the unscrupulous competition he has and his amazingly fair price, which was about 90% less than $1700. I guess when you are honest, your name is over the door, and you do a GREAT job, you don't have to advertise everywhere like the other plumbing companies... Thanks Mark!

While replacing a tub fixture they broke the bonnet and left it covered up in the wall. I only caught the leak much later resulting in an emergency plumbing call to Carter's my plumber to fix the issue. The tub faucet ended up costing me nearly a fortune! $300 to install, $400 to fix P&K's mess. I was very lucky that there wasn't more damage to the house.

While their estimate was on the high side (for our bigger issue), they were fast to respond / got things running again. They were friendly & professional. Highly recommended

I called Summers because we needed a fairly simple plumbing repair and because there was an online coupon. The plumber fixed the issue, then encouraged us to consider purchasing a maintenance package, which would cut the price of that service call as well as future calls and would discount the cost of any repairs and supplies. Most importantly, he said, the company would come to our house three times a year to evaluate, maintain, and repair any issues with with plumbing and HVAC. We usually avoid warranty and service packages, so I wasn't sure whether my husband would agree to it. But, the plumber said he could set up the maintenance plan, then cancel it if my husband opposed the idea.
We went ahead and purchased the maintenance plan. Today was the first maintenance visit, and the HVAC guy disassembled our furnace and outside AC unit, pointed out potential problems, and advised me on whether there were major issues or whether we could wait on replacement. He also replaced the filter on the furnace, going to the trouble of finding us a less expensive version of the usual model. He spent well over 2 hours working on and cleaning our units.
The company seems very committed to good service. They call to confirm the appointment, show up when they say they will, and cover their shoes with these funny little slipper-things before they come in the house. The office also calls with a follow up survey and asks whether the technician arrived on time, covered his feet, etc. They only fault I could find was that I was expecting a plumbing evaluation today, not an HVAC. I don't know where that miscommunication happened, but it wasn't a big deal to me.
I figured that Summers was a national company with franchises, because they're pretty slick with branding. As it turns out, they are local to central Indiana but have several branch offices.

We had a brand new HVAC system installed in December by Comfort Air. They didn't install it properly and we were told they would be back in a few days due to the holidays. Lets just say that didnt happen. I received my new IPL for 12/22/17-1/22/18 & it's almost $700!! Mind you I live in a ranch style home. They came out yesterday and stated the installers did not install my thermostat correctly so we have been running on emergency heat this whole time. Called Comfort Air today and they basically said oh well not their fault. I asked them to pay my electric bill because they did not do the job correctly. The guy rudely told me its not their fault!!! Have you heard this about them?! Absolutely ridiculous!!! They should be responsible!! Should be ZERO stars!!!

Even Ben Franklin would cast a weary eye - these guys tried to collect a $70 fee from me for coming out and LOOKING at my kitchen and bathroom fixtures. Mind you, no work was done. They just were giving me an estimate (which was incredibly high) to install two new faucet sets. I refused to pay a fee - the plumber seemed surprised that anyone would dare refuse. I don't care if I'm on their bad list or anything - this pay us to tell you how much we'll charge you crap is a load. Benny... we won't call your number. 867-53-Oh God!

In July we found water dripping (not pouring) out the bottom of our water heater which was 12 years old. Completely functional, not an emergency. We called Jim Russell Plumbing. They got us on their schedule within a couple of days. Two plumbers showed up, assessed the situation and recommended a new water heater. No surprise. They drained the old and brought a new one. They never offered a sales order or quote. Shame on me for not asking! They were professional and swift. Whole thing took 4 hours or so including them picking up the new one. When they were done, I asked them for an invoice. They said that they would send one from the office. When I finally got the invoice is was $3,633. I was stunned. I did the research. The new water heater they installed could be purchased for $1,788 ($1,913 including sales tax and delivery). If you follow the math, that means they charged me $1,720 for other materials and labor. Other materials would be rather insignificant which means they charged me $215/hour for each of the individuals. Not $215 total, $215 for each individual for each hour. That's ridiculous. When I called Jim Russell Plumbing to complain, they made it worse. They told me that they charged me for an extended warranty, that again, they never told me about or gave me an option to not purchase. For those of you who don't know, one of the biggest money makers for a manufacturer of any kind is their extended warranty. Huge profit margins! I politely made my case as to what I thought was a fair price. After much back and forth, they refused to acknowledge any responsibility for poor communication and lack of transparency. I will never use Jim Russell Plumbing again.
