I was referred to Paul Henderson Plumbing because they hold a warranty contract/relationship on the manufacturer of my water softener.  I called to verify this and they confirmed they have that contract.  I told them my scenario and they said they needed to send someone out.  The guy comes out access the problem, says he'll be back next week to fix it.  No mention of anything and the last time I spoke with someone in the office it was about them having the warranting contract/relationship with the manufacturer.  The guy comes out the next week just like he said and installed a part that should fix the problem.  Great! As the guy is leaving my house he says we'll send you the invoice....? First I had heard.  I get the invoice for $350 and was confused so I called.  They didn't even check if it was covered under warranty so she said she would check and get back to me.  Guess what, it wasn't under warranty (purchased less than 4 years ago).  The biggest issue I have is they charged me an initial trip fee of $45.  Their short explanation was (first, we charge everyone that), after probing we didn't know whether it was under warranty or not.  Well 2 things: 1. we could have check first with the serial number on the water softener and 2. Maybe mention to your clients that IF the system isn't under warranty, sending someone to look at your system will cost $45.

They performed the service well and the people they sent to the house were great.  I just personally think the transparency in cost or potential cost could have been handle a lot more professionally.

Techs were very good -saw the problem and fixed it in a reasonable amount of time.  Pricing seemed fair.  I would call them for future problems!

Very happy with the quick response to replace our leaking water heater.  They arrived during the expected time frame, and completed the work in a reasonable time.  Price was very reasonable.  Would recommend them to others.

Grant, our technician, was knowledgeable and efficient!  Our AC has never ran better.  We could not have asked for better service.

We had these guys replace our water heater. They left a gas leak! When I called to see if they could come out to fix it I had to leave a message and didn't hear back from anyone until 8:30 at night (4 hours later). I talked to the man who installed it and he made a gas leak seem like no big deal stating, Unless the smell is so bad you can barely breathe, it isn't really harmful. What?! He said the could come out the next day to check it since I had a one year warranty on the labor. We called FOUR times and no one retuned out calls. We were forced to have another plumber come out to fix the leak. We are now having our credit card company dispute the charges. What a mess! Do not use these guys!!!!

Two weeks ago, the drain in our laundry room backed up and flooded the room.  I called Attaboy and they sent help within the hour.  Unbelievable!  A friendly plumber showed up and ensured that the issue was fixed.  Not only that, he pointed out that the drain on our water softner was installed incorrectly and that any backup could potentially cause health issues for my family.  I asked if he could fix it and since he had all of the parts with him, he did.  He was courteous, clean, and provided excellent advice.  This isn't the first time I have used Attaboy and every time, they provide top notch service.

I had the unfortunate experience of having my toilet overflow over the weekend. I called Roto-Rooter's emergency number and customer service representative I got was excellent. She was very sympathetic to my situation and very understanding. She informed me of how they would come out to assess my situation for free and then give me a price. If I didn't like the price I was able to decline service and the assessment would be of no cost to me. When Artie arrived he was very informative and fixed my problem in a timely manner. All I was pleased with the service I received this weekend.

We needed to have our (very old) sewer line replaced. We'd received a quote from another company but wanted to bid out such a large project. Carlisle was less expensive and did a very good job. They gave us multiple options and quotes as well as their recommendations on how to proceed. The sewer was a tight squeeze between houses, trees, and our gas line. They dug it up and replaced it, as well as some additional plumbing inside to reroute a pipe without any incidents. They were very good at explaining to me what they were doing and were courteous and professional when asking me to run water to test the line. I would recommend them for future plumbing projects.

Installers threw on umarked breakers that were not feeding the furnace and nearly caused electrical injury.  Installers didn't know an electrical circuit and I had to troubleshoot circuit for them.  Installers did not seal furnace - was losing alot of air and heat into garage.  Installers wired the A/C with the furnace so everytime furnace kicked on (in below zero weather) the A/C kicked on.  Installers agreed before performing work that company would bill us and then we could pay.  Owner (Chad Christian) then threatened to rip out new furnace if didn't pay on the spot.  Owner then also rudely dismissed every complaint that furnace was not heating house (when it was wired wrong).  Took 36 hours and alot of dealing with attitude from owner to get that fixed.  Lastly, because it has taken 7 days (which includes weekend and holiday) to pay the invoice, owner calls and rudely berates me for not paying yet while at the same time berating me for responding with all this same feedback to a feedback request email they sent me.

We have had a thoroughly unpleasant experience with this company, which we had used previously.

Our 16-year old toilet needed a new flush valve. My husband called the company and made an appointment with the young woman who answered the phone. She gave him a 4 hour window for the following day; the plumber never showed. When he called back, it appeared that she had been so focused on trying to sell him a yearly contract during what he described as a lengthy conversation that she'd neglected to schedule the plumber.

So--new conversation with new phone person, also lengthy, during which my husband gave her the make of the toilet (Kohler--a pretty standard brand) and the part number of the flush valve we needed. (She had clearly never heard of Kohler--asked what that was and could we spell it, which was disconcerting.)This time, the plumber did show up (the following day), but without the part. Evidently, she hadn't passed on the information. He said we really should buy a new toilet. We declined.

This was a Friday; the plumber left saying he would secure the proper part and be back Monday. Monday he came with the wrong part.

Our daughter suggested calling Hope Plumbing. They had a plumber at my home within an hour of my call who installed the new flush valve. Toilet now works fine--we didn't need a new one, and the plumber from Hope didn't say we did.

Needless to say, we will NOT be using Ben Franklin Plumbing again.

These guys are wonderful.  I do my homework before hiring any contractors, and Indy Renovation came highly recommended at the place where I bought my tile.  They tiled a master bath, guest bath, built a master shower, and did tile backsplash in the kitchen and bar area.  I couldn't be happier with the quality of their work.  Junior and his helpers were meticulous with the details -- used a laser for straight lines, maintained consistent grout width, no cracked or broken tiles, etc.

I was very pleased with the service of Mr. Bill Applezet. He tried to work quickly and economize his time. My invoice was about as I expected it to be.

They have provided several services for my rentals. they are on time  professional and try to work you into their schedule if its urgent. I also love that they dont try to sell you replacements when not needed but will help in maintaining function.

Larry Plumbing did some work in my house about a year ago, He was found by the contractor I hired back then and never had to deal with him personaly. Recently, I had a situation where my basement flooded due to a clogged outside drainage, although it took us some time to find, my first person to reach was Larry... here's where it gets fun, he picks up the phone and tells me that he has no interest to help out due to a bad past experience with the contractor I had when I was remodeling the house .. he then tells me to find someone else to fix my problems! This level of unprofessional customer dealing leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth and thought I would share so no one has to deal with this kind of issues in the future. I don't have anything negative to say about his job which has held fine, but definitely on his customer treatment and more on emergencies such as the one I just went through.

He was the only plumber who come come within 4 hours for a leak in my garage.  I should have waited.   He did find the leak in an outside faucet and repair it.  He then takes me into cutting a vent in my furnace stack to heat my garage, then drive to a hardware store 5 minutes away to buy a vent.  He was gone almost 2 hours.  When he came back he looked at another leaking outdoor faucet and told me it was not urgent, and that he wasn't available again for 3 weeks.  He charged me almost $800, most of that labor for time he wasn't even at my home.  I called someone else a few weeks later.  The second leak caused a mold problem that had to be remediated, and the furnace vent is not to code and has to be removed.  By the way, the faucet he did repair no longer works.  What a crook!
