We did not have hot water and I called late on a Thursday afternoon. Nicole answered the phone and was very thorough in asking good questions to double check that gas valve would be covered under warranty on water heater after she double checked with supplier. She called me back within 5 minutes to confirm appointment with owner next morning to only pay for labor as part was covered under warranty. Paul Henderson did a thorough job installing new gas valve and double checking all the components to get our hot water back on and he did not charge for extra labor even when he had to fix another part not connected to new gas valve! We had other plumbers quoting much higher price as they did not take the time to double check if water heater/parts were covered under warranty. Their customer service is top notch and we highly recommend them for your plumbing needs!

Brian and his crew have been my plumber for years. They do great work and always fairly priced. They've done all kinds of work for me from emergencies to renovations. I recommend them anytime I get the chance!

Outstanding Plumber! We are new to Brownsburg and a coworker recommended Cornwell's. Their pricing is very fair, scheduling was easy, and the work was top notch!
We needed an expansion tank installed on our hot water heater and the first plumber we called, quoted us an absurd amount. We called Cornwell's; the price was good and what we expected. The technician that came out was helpful and knowledgeable. He told us some things we should consider doing in the future but did not try to oversell us on anything.
I wish I found Cornwell's the first day we moved to Brownsburg. They will be the only plumber we call from now on.

The folks at Mishler Plumbing in Brownsburg are as professional and honest as the day is long. I appreciate having local, small businesses like this one that I can rely on. Thanks Mishlers!

Our 18 year old water heater stopped working. They called me back immediately after missing my call. They came over first thing the next morning at the time they agreed to. They were able to give a quick quote, go pick up a new water heater, and install it all within the same day. I also asked them about moving a shower head to another wall and they were more than happy to give a quote even though they had to rush off to the next jobl. I highly recommend them and will use them again for anything plumbing related!

Just a PSA: I had the most disappointing customer service experience with Commercial Service. 2 years ago, I purchased a HVAC system from them, and last night the heat went out just as we were approaching dangerously low temperatures. I have children and pets, so I was not in a place where I could shop for services or wait, so I called them. Prior to speaking with the technician, I had already identified that the error code meant there was an issue with an open high limit switch, and the technician agreed with me over the phone. He informed me it would likely be a $276 after-hours service charge. I was between a rock and a hard place, so I agreed. Unfortunately, the technician did not arrive with a replacement part, so he had to temporarily fix the switch so that it would close. This took between 40 and 45 minutes. The charge was $414, and I assumed this would also include the follow up the next day when they actually did replace the switch. I was wrong. When I questioned the ethics of this with their VP, I was treated as though I just didn't understand that they provided services that no one else does, and that's why they are (significantly) more expensive. After the politely insulting lecture I received, he informed me that he would offer to enroll me in their maintenance program at no additional cost. That was his solution. This was their unacceptable compromise. As a 46 year old who has been a home owner for 2 decades, I have had extensive experience with other HVAC companies. I had a technician from Heflin who I worked with for years who came at all hours, and never charged me a 3rd of the price Commercial Service did. I'm disappointed that CS did not come to my house WITH the warrantied part they were aware was likely the problem, and that they wanted to charge me more than the already silly after-hours price. Do not recommend.

The technician was very polite and thorough. He arrived in the timeline the company quoted. The work I had done was reasonably priced.

My 1940s So. Bro rental that I'd purchased a few years ago had experienced root growth in the main drain and after years being dormant, it began backing up with use. I'd already paid Just Drains to clear my main drain (rude, never again), and they went in from the line in the yard. Now I had yet another issue that needed attention. On Valentine's Day, a Sunday, in the snow.
The renters had neglected to keep me informed of the bad situation that had progressed into an emergency, simply shutting the basement door, and we were now in deep sh*t (literally, ankle deep). I was absolutely mortified and in tears after contacting someone to help me out earlier to no avail.
After calling a few places, I finally spoke to someone at Powerhouse and got a quote for $175 - same day. The owner arrived to my mess and was very friendly and considerate of the situation. He went above and beyond, ensuring that he ran the snake out to the street more than the average job to be sure it wouldn't soon happen again.
As everything began to drain, he then cleaned up the mess and hosed down the basement so I wouldn't have to. Of course once it dried I had additional sanitizing to do, but I was so happy with the experience that I told everyone about it. Best worst Valentine's Day ever!
Now that I'm looking through my reviews, I realized that this MUST be added, despite the time that's passed, because I still recommend them to my friends.
If only I could find an equally good electrician. Anyone?

Scott was very professional today. Needed my water heater flushed and needed a solenoid in my touch Delta faucet. Called Kirby Brothers Plumbing, the plumbers that originally installed my faucet, and they don't repair faucets that they install! They don't stand behind their work! I guess I won't stand behind them! Attaboy is now my go to plumber. Scott was very helpful with all our plumbing questions and concerns around the house!
Thank you, ATTABOY!

They were quick to resolve our issue and even arranged for us to maximize the amount of time with their restoration equipment without incurring additional costs. Very professional and honest in dealing with us.

We needed to have our (very old) sewer line replaced. We'd received a quote from another company but wanted to bid out such a large project. Carlisle was less expensive and did a very good job. They gave us multiple options and quotes as well as their recommendations on how to proceed. The sewer was a tight squeeze between houses, trees, and our gas line. They dug it up and replaced it, as well as some additional plumbing inside to reroute a pipe without any incidents. They were very good at explaining to me what they were doing and were courteous and professional when asking me to run water to test the line. I would recommend them for future plumbing projects.

Came out quickly but discrepancies in what was invoiced (a week later and only after requested it) and cash that was paid out at multiple times a certain repairman returned.

Very expensive. They replaced the flush valve seal on one our toilets. It took the plumber less than 15 minutes to fix it. My husband asked him how much the part would cost if we bought it on our own at Lowe's or someplace like that. The plumber said about $5. He charged us $160.00 total for parts and labor. Live and learn...

Very poor professionalism, which makes me question their work. My husband scheduled an appointment last week, got our confirmation call two days before our scheduled appointment for Sat. @ 7:30 am. Was a No Show - No Call Left them a voice mail. Called back again on Monday and was told it was miscommunication. They did apologize but, again, makes me think twice about having them do any work for me now. Very disappointed

I called Gordon Plumbing since they were a vendor referred by AO Smith as a certified vendor. I was having a problem with my water heater not providing hot water. The tech came to my home and he had a great demeanor. He told me that I was not receiving hot water because there was lime build up. He said to fix the problem that I should install a water softener. Gordon does not sell water softener's so I called another company to purchase one. The informed me that installing a water softenter is not going to make hot water flow through out my home. This is a measure that needs to be taken after the water heater has been flushed out. This is more of a preventive measure, that it would not remove all the existing lime build up. I called Gordon Plumbing back to inform them of this. The young lady who answered the phone was the rudest customer service rep, I have even encountred. She told me she could send out another technician but I would be another service fee after I had already paid 140.00 with no resolution to the problem. She customer service rep agreed that he should have offered to drain the tank but he never did. I asked to speak with the manager several times, she said I heard you say that several times. She never put a manger on the line, only told me that she had spoken with the manger and they could come back out and drain the water heater for another fee or cancel the appointment. I cancelled the appointment after being mistreated and spoken to in a disrespectful manner. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY PLUMBING NEEDS THEY WILL NOT SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM AND WILL BE RUDE TO YOU AS WELL AFTER YOU HAVE PAID THEM. BEWARE!!!! 2-15-18

A plumber from McNeely entered my home because Airtron was working there replacing the AC unit and they stupidly thought that that no one needed permission!? I had an errand to run. Airtron had my cell #!!
There was a leak that wasn't an emergency in another condo unit. The fluidmaster in the toilet and the water shut off valve was replaced in my unit WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!!! Apparently or allegedly, my toilet was running and I've never heard it. (Neither did the plumber until he removed the toilet tank cover.) I hear it now, it runs after each flush, AFTER the unauthorized visit. Upon arrival home from the errand I had to run, the toilet didn't flush after I used it. As I'm washing my hands, my cell phone rings. It's a plumber with McNeely plumbing who informs me that he'd been in my unit and had replaced the shut off valve to the toilet and the fluidmaster inside the toilet tank as the toilet was running. He had my phone number, but couldn't call before any of this occurred? ***NEWSFLASH, the toilet now runs after each flush and I can hear it, where I couldn't before.*** How interesting. All of this is UNACCEPTABLE!!! He told me that the Airtron techs allowed him entry into my unit. I let him know that he did not have my permission to be in my unit. I would have told him to wait until I arrived home, had he called beforehand. It gets better.. you can't make this up!
On Saturday, I pulled back the shower curtain to turn on the shower. The tub was dirty, where it had been cleaned on Friday morning at 9:30 when I last showered with normal water pressure! I also managed to step on a clear, sharp, plastic piece of the broken, plastic shut-off valve that had broken and had been replaced. This and drew blood from the bottom of my foot and a few choice words. How that landed in the tub is beyond me. I became very angry all over again.
I cleaned the tub AGAIN with about 1/3 of the normal water pressure. It took 8 minutes for my usual 2 minute, lukewarm shower. I called McNeely plumbing AGAIN and talked to the on-call plumber, Christian. I explained that another plumber had gained entrance into my unit the day before WITHOUT MY PERMISSION and had made unauthorized repairs, but that NOW I had an audible sound of running water when I flushed the toilet, a dirty bath tub, water pressure about 1/3 lower than what I had on Friday morning and had a foot injury due to stepping on a sharp piece of plastic that had landed in the tub. He replied he was the on-call plumber and would call me back later when he could find out what was going on.
Christian did call back a few hours later and told me that Evan had been the plumber who had done the unauthorized (and incomplete) repairs. I told him that someone needed to come out immediately and fix the water pressure and the running toilet that I DID NOT AUTHORIZE OR HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF. Christian's response was that it was a holiday weekend, he was only the on-call plumber and if he couldn't find that they'd done something wrong, I'd be charged. My response was B******T, I HAD NORMAL WATER PRESSURE UNTIL YOUR COMPANY ENTERED WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION AND MADE INCOMPLETE AND ANAUTHORIZED REPAIRS! I'M NOT PAYING FOR ANYTHING! Christian ended the call. Admittedly, I was very angry.
I have two different stories of how McNeely plumbing gained access and an incomplete picture on Friday as to what had been done. Now on Saturday, I had a foot injury due to a sharp piece of clear plastic that was left in the tub and NEW, problematic toilet and shower issues.
On the 7th, McNeely visited again by appointment due to my travel schedule. The toilet running was fixed. The shower pressure magically corrected itself the week after all of this occurred.

Larry Plumbing did some work in my house about a year ago, He was found by the contractor I hired back then and never had to deal with him personaly. Recently, I had a situation where my basement flooded due to a clogged outside drainage, although it took us some time to find, my first person to reach was Larry... here's where it gets fun, he picks up the phone and tells me that he has no interest to help out due to a bad past experience with the contractor I had when I was remodeling the house .. he then tells me to find someone else to fix my problems! This level of unprofessional customer dealing leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth and thought I would share so no one has to deal with this kind of issues in the future. I don't have anything negative to say about his job which has held fine, but definitely on his customer treatment and more on emergencies such as the one I just went through.

He was the only plumber who come come within 4 hours for a leak in my garage. I should have waited. He did find the leak in an outside faucet and repair it. He then takes me into cutting a vent in my furnace stack to heat my garage, then drive to a hardware store 5 minutes away to buy a vent. He was gone almost 2 hours. When he came back he looked at another leaking outdoor faucet and told me it was not urgent, and that he wasn't available again for 3 weeks. He charged me almost $800, most of that labor for time he wasn't even at my home. I called someone else a few weeks later. The second leak caused a mold problem that had to be remediated, and the furnace vent is not to code and has to be removed. By the way, the faucet he did repair no longer works. What a crook!
