Firstly, you know you have a winner when a person answers the phone. Irrigation is such a competitive field in this area that many companies I called had a voicemail and (maybe) called you back the same day, or they couldn't book you for weeks which left my crispy brown shrubs and lawn to die miserably. Enter George - who calls you when he begins heading to your home and even updates you if he's stuck in traffic. Right there, I knew I had a winner.  George didn't disappoint, as he looked at my dismal spaghetti bowl of odds-n-ends wires, dried in the sun because a former sprinkler company had just left a mangle of mess above ground and exposed many years ago and the former homeowner had no clue. I was concerned that my budget was blown and I'd not be able to put my kids through college, but George quoted me an estimate for the job to which he neatly fixed and installed a new control unit.  This new unit was light years ahead of the old junker that came with the house and was so much easier to program. He completed the job much faster than anticipated and the price was about half what we thought it could be ( now my daughters can run for President someday! ). Thanks George for walking me through the programming and operation! He also patiently taught me about maintenance since I'm from Seattle and never had a system before. I'd recommend George and Diamond instantly to friends, neighbors, clients and others. I now have my GO TO SPRINKLER guys!

H&S Backflow is incredibly responsive and efficient. Mike came out diagnosed the problem and was able to repair my pool backflow issue the very next day. Will definitely be using them again for any of my future needs!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND:

Had a kitchen faucet replaced (I suppled the faucet- he was cool with that). Plumber also replaced two cutoff valves-one that needed to be replaced right now and one the plumber recommended since it was old. ( He gave me a choice about whether to do second valve ) . Price was fair, comparable to other quotes. Gave me a discount on installing the new valves since it was an add-on.

Very fast next day morning service, prompt arrival at appt. time. Worked neatly (minimal spillage ) and cleaned and dried under the sink thoroughly after the job was finished.

We contracted for this company through Lowe's for a toilet installation.  They did a superb job, removing the old toilet and installing the new toilet in record time.  They were very careful to ensure that no mess was made and they hauled off the old toilet as well as the box from the new toilet.  This is a first class operation.  They are not happy until the customer is happy.

I called and he was here in 15 minutes he was professional job he did excellent job, reasonable prices  too. I was freaking out thinking it was seriously going to cost me.

Frank from Austex Sprinklers took care of some broken valves in our backyard and did a great job. I've been pleased with the way Austex stands behind their work and would use them again.

Very honest, respectful, diligent and kept us in the loop of status on where they were to reaching my parents house. Despite the weather ordeal and weather they made it out in a timely fashion and fixed it on the spot!!!

We purchased a new home that had some of the hardest water I have ever experienced.  My hands were cracked and bleeding, my hair was getting dry and brittle and we were going through our soaps and shampoos like crazy with little to no lather.  We were also concerned about how dry our babies skin was getting from their regular baths.  A friend of mine recommended Atlas Plumbing so I called and had a great conversation about our options.  They came over to the house immediately and took the time to look over everything and explain how the whole process would work.  They were very up front about the costs and potential risks of installing a water softener on an older home which I appreciated.  They also gave me best and worst case scenarios regarding how much we would spend so that there wouldn't be any surprises.  I was grateful that they recommended spending more on a better unit rather than buying a cheap system that wouldn't last as long.  You really do get what you pay for.  They started work quickly and it was so nice having them around for the couple days they were here working.  Such lovely personable people who were fun to chat with.  They were so kind to my two 18 month old twins who just adored them.  While they were installing the water Softener I also had them replace our kitchen sink with a nice deep basin and new faucet.  They did such a beautiful job.  They were so quiet, respectful, and clean while they were working.

We are doing a re-model of a home in Canyon Lake and hired Clint DIxon as our plumber.  For the first few months, he was relatively reliable, and we paid him as per his fee schedule.  In early November, he informed us that we needed a sump pump for our septic to function properly.  He asked us to pay him in advance $600 for the cost of the pump and $160 for installation of the pump.  Within 15 minutes of leaving our home he cashed our check and has been ignoring our phone calls ever since.
When we called him from another phone number (so he did not know it was us) he informed us that he had spent the money and could not purchase the pump but that he would buy it with money that his father gave him at Christmas, and would install it on Dec. 27th.  Needless to say, he did not, and continued to ignore our phone calls until we threatened him with legal action.  He then purchased the pump (according to the store, the cost of the pump is $400, not $600) and left it in our yard.  He now owes us $200 for the pump, and $160 for advance payment on his labor.
We are now in the process of hiring another plumber to install the pump.  Clint has once again disappeared and is not accepting any of our phone calls.  I would NOT recommend him as a plumber to anyone, any time.

Professional, efficient, and competitively priced. We were very happy with the work Chris performed (installing a water shut off valve/replacing outside faucet), and they even came out on the MLK holiday. Military discount was the icing on the cake.

The toilet in our apartment wasn't working right. The complex wouldn't fix it so we had Franco's plumbing come in and do it. He figured out right away what was wrong and fixed it. He was very professional, came on time and did it all for a good price. It's a family owned company and you can tell he knows what he's doing. I would recommend them!

Edward was GREAT! After getting the run-around from my home warranty Old Republic Home warranty (ORHP), Edward replaced my hot water heater, by himself! He is very personable, professional & extremely hard working! Champion is truly Blessed to have such employees. Thanks!!!

This guy had his assistant work a total of 1 hour 10 minutes and charged me for 2.5 hours at $87.50 per hour ONLY for the labor.  When I asked about the charges he said that he is master plumber not a handyman that is why he charged that much. He said that even though they didn't work the full 2.5 hours he was charging for driving from his office which is 10 minutes from my house.  So according to him it took them 2.5 hours just to change the washers and seats from the shower handles.  You want to hire this guy?  go ahead, his number is up there.

We had a bad experience. We specifically asked for one type of service and they sent out a different type of technician and attempted to charge us a $100 for the service. We decided to go with a different service.

These guys charge so much money, I could almost buy another house instead of having them repair my simple leak. It cost me $1250 to tell me it would cost $4000. Another contractor did it for less then their estimate. I sure hope Pleasanton gets a better plumbing company.
