Best Plumbing Services in Texas

Diamond Plumbing has helped me out through a wide range of services including hydrostatic pressure tests to check pipes; repairing leaks and running toilets; and most recently, to repair a water heater to fix low hot-water pressure issues. Below are some points if you're considering them based on my experience.

PRO1: The office staff has always been kind, professional, and responsive to me. Yes, sometimes they are really busy and I'll get the voicemail, (esp. after the Extreme Winter Weather we recently experienced with many having pipe issues), but someone ALWAYS gets back to me... that's not the case with all businesses.

PRO2: They send a text when technicians are on their way with a picture of who's coming as well as a tracker. I also have an opportunity to rate my experience afterward conveniently through text.

PRO3: They offer Military Discounts. I admire this and can't thank businesses enough who decide to honor Veterans in this way. It speaks volumes about the values of a company. May they thrive 100 times more!

CON: They are not open after-hours including weekends. This can be an issue during an emergency, but I also respect that they have dedicated off days and rest for themselves and their employees. It's just something I have to consider when I have a need that requires after-hours.

In conclusion, they are my go-to during normal business hours; I've been serviced by Diamond Plumbing about 8 times now and I'm still a very happy customer. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Diamond Plumbing.

I have used Mauldin Plumbing twice with excellent service both times.  Once was a broken main water line in the front yard and most recently a piece of cloth accidentally went down a toilet stopping up the drainage.  Our house is lower than the sewer main in the street so we must use a grinder pump that collects all the waste water from the house and pumps it up to the sewer main.  If anything like a toy or piece of cloth gets in the pump it stops working essentially forcing you to stop using any water.  Troy and Nick responded in a timely manner and quickly protected the pump inlet from letting any foreign objects from going into the pump while using a specialized tool to explore and remove the cloth from the in-house sewer drains.  We were back in service quickly and at a very reasonable price.  I'll continue to use Mauldin Plumbing and recommend them to friends.

Had issue with a shower not being able to shut of completely, called Hill Country Plumbing, made an appointment, thecame out, changed a part that they already had on with them on the truck, were on their way in less than an hour. Paid my bill over the phone simple easy and efficient - all handled very professionally and reasonable priced. Will use them for my next plumbing needs. Thanks for running a great company.

These guys are the very best hands down. Dave has been at it many,many years. Hardworking and dedicated to getting the job done right. Has saved me from unscrupulous plumbers who have downright lied just to get more money. Seriously call if you want the real deal.

It's been 2 months since the initial install of my water heater, so I feel an update on my earlier review is due.  First, the water heater that was installed has functioned well, and I've seen a slight drop in my gas bill, for which I'm grateful. However, I've also spoken with several people who've had tankless water heaters installed, like I originally wanted, and they were astounded at how complex Rooter-Man would have made that installation.  The individuals I spoke with had theirs quickly, easily and efficiently installed onto existing gas lines, and have loved the products' performance and their lowered gas bills.

Second, I think it's fair to mention that after having my water heater and HVAC system replaced within 2 weeks of each other I discovered mold in a small closet immediately below these two units.  I contacted both service companies, and both stated the other company had lost water in my attic while replacing their respective units, and neither agreed to assume responsibility for the problem.

I was fortunate the damage was contained to a 3' x 4' closet, and that the majority of the items in the closet were stored in boxes and/or plastic, so little was lost.  I'm grateful for that.

I should also mentioned that while inspecting the attic to discover the water damage with one of the companies, I found a few garbage bags worth of debris from the jobs left behind by the service technicians.  I can't begin to say how angry I was that their service technicians had used my attic as a garbage dumping ground.  Unfortunately, I have a bad knee and injured it while stooping under duct work and balanced on beams to gather all the garbage.  I mention this because this injury prevented me from doing the mold remediation myself, and I had to pay a young man $100 to clean my 3 ' x 4' closet.  I'm still under a doctor's care to restore my knee to normal functioning, and I've had to lose time from work to address this injury.  Needless to say, I'm not happy about this either.  

I give them 3 stars, because Emilio was courteous and professional, and the water heater they installed works well.

I couldn't get the pilot light to light off on my hot water heater. Pablo found time on Easter Sunday to come over and found the problem in seconds Very minor fix, but without I had no hot water. I'll definitely call again for any plumbing issues.

I have used Legacy Plumbing in the past at a previous house that I sold. A complete redo of the sewer line. I was impressed with their quality of work and their professionalism.

Fast forward 4 years.
I once again summon Legacy Plumbing for my parent's house for the same issue. A complete redo of the sewer lines. lol. Yay me!  I had our foundation done at the house and for the warranty to be effective, I had to get a passing grade on both fresh water and the sewer line. My sewer line fail the test and Cole quickly got to work. The whole project took about 3 days. That is without the excavation team digging and tunneling, that took 2 days. Cole kept me up to date on every process and findings while I was at work. He worked on our schedule, which is great. I don't think a lot of people would do that. Very thoroughly along every step of the way and I'm happy with the quality of work.

I did get quotes with a couple of companies and Legacy Plumbing is priced competitively.

I would highly recommend Legacy Plumbing.

Problem: Gas Leak in wall between laundry and kitchen. Home Warranty company sent a plumber (not Matt) who said he couldn't find a leak but smelled something (maybe carbon monoxide -- he was blowing smoke as CO is odorless-natural gas has additive and does smell for your own safety; this plumber then recommended an HVAC repair to my home warranty) -- HVAC man said he can only look 5' from furnace and there was nothing he could do it was for a plumber (waste of my time which i already knew that but home warranties follow procedures); I called Atmos Energy to test as i was worried now; they turned off my gas because they found the leak in the room where I had smelled the gas -- so i was left with No Heat or Hot water on Saturday at 4PM and New Years Eve 2017 weekend with a 2 year old and a very sick husband and the home warranty company recalled the first plumber who obviously had no interest in fixing the problem--he didn't call me back. Weather 25'F.  Results:  After lots of coercing-my Home Warranty Company permitted me to go outside and find my own vendor to repair the leak on New Year's Eve since none of their vendors would come out Sat night/Sun/Mon Dec 30-31/Jan 1 and it was an open issue since the Wednesday before.  SOLUTION: Matt answered my call within an hour of calling (i had found 2 vendors willing but went with him because he sounded like he really understood the problem and could address it--expertise in natural gas pipes).  Bonus--he will work weekends and holidays for emergencies. He scheduled appt for Sunday afternoon (next day). He diagnosed the problem quickly -- Cut an 18 hole in my wall and luckily the area where the leak was nearby this opening -- did plumber things-pressure tested the pipe.  He repaired the pipe (by cutting/replace piping). He spoke to my insurance company and got the repair $$s approved.  He also assisted me in navigating the city of Keller and turning back on my gas with Atmos on off hours (not an easy process). He waited for the arrival of the gas company also. This repair kept us in our home (no need for hotel on new years eve). No frozen pipes.  Lesson learned--don't call Atmos when living in city of keller on a weekend--requires permit to turn back on gas and that can only happen during business hours and very very expensive (obviously maintain safety); Call someone that has the right equipment for natural gas testing and repairs and reasonable pricing --that is this guy; Talk to a plumber on phone not an answering service first before they come to your home to get a sense for what scenarios could be without surprise--that is this guy; Oh and Small Businesses often know their capabilities and other businesses --- good ones will also always tell you i can or can't but know someone that can and here is his number.  Happy Customer / Happy Family. Chase and Amari came out to service my leaking water heater. The confirmation for my appointment was consistent this week, and I received a call on today, hours before, which was extremely thorough. I already had three other companies lined up but moved Pure Plumbing ahead of the line simply because of the FREE CONSULTATION to come out, which is rare. This was a great decision knowing what I know now, but as expected the arrival within the expected window was met. Then after seeing the damage, Chase and Amari identified exactly what the source was, and the pros and cons of the overall project. They were never pushy or salesy about payment and even when I did decide to move forward they provided multiple quotes for flexibility in payment understanding the season the nation is in financially. At the end, I have a new water heater, and Chase actually included a second drain line. The work didn't leave a mess or damage to property and as probably assumed by now-I'll be calling back all other companies to cancel them coming out, and so should you. Pure Plumbing is definitely earning their 5-Stars and if you're lucky Chase and Amari will get called out for your repair. Very happy with the results! Thanks again.

I'll start by saying, Eli, the young man the company sent out to evaluate our issue (bubbling toilets, clogged main line) was incredibly kind and professional.

He was also, unfortunately, wrong.

IDK if the auger he brought with him wasn't enough to clear the blockage, or he just didn't know what he was seeing with his camera, but he told us we needed our entire main line replaced, to the tune of about $6000!!!

(I will say in his defense that we don't have a clean out in our front yard, so he had to go through the vents on the roof. We'll handle that issue soon enough.)

Called another company to get a second opinion the next day. Turns out it was roots in the pipe. A blockage that they cleared in less than an hour, for WAY LESS than six grand.

Take this review with a grain of salt, but do yourself a favor, and ALWAYS get a second opinion on stuff like this.

The second company that came out just saved me over 5k. Just saying.

We had them come to a property we had listed to perform a trenchless drain repair.  From start to finish Josh was professional, informative and patient.  We plan on using and referring Josh and his company for years to come, as trusted service providers are hard to come by.

Junior just left my house, excellent service, leaking faucets in both bathrooms and a replacement of shower faucet. Service was fast and repair was shorter time than expected. Reasonable rate. It's good to have water again:)I am a happy customer, will use your services again. Highly recommended!!

I was very impressed with the service provided by Professor Plumb!  Impeccable service from the initial phone call to the final repair.  

When I first inquired about service, I spoke with Amber.  She advised that I would receive a call approximately 30-35 minutes prior to my appointment.  This was really beneficial, as it allowed me to provide flexibility with my work schedule.  

My initial appointment was awesome.  The plumber (Blue) arrived on time and was very knowledgable.  He was personable, wanted to help, and truly cared about helping others.  He provided an estimate at no charge, recommended name brands to consider, and wanted to schedule with me before leaving to make sure my issue was resolved prior to Thanksgiving.

Blue arrived again today on time.  He made the repair, fielded additional questions, and even addressed a separate issue.  Blue is a great individual.  I highly recommend this company for any plumbing issues.

Amazing guys! They made me feel comfortable and talked to me like I knew what they were talking about, which I loved! They fixed everything I needed in a great amount of time! I am recommending them to everyone I know and using them again in the future!

I'm very satisfied with the plumber and apprentice. They were both professional, courteous and did high quality work. My only disappointment was to find out how much the parts were marked up over jobber's and even retail costs. I would rather have been given a list of the items needed and then gone to Home Depot myself to purchase them to be able to save some money. At the time I was so concerned about quickly having my hot water heater replaced that I didn't think to ask for that option and the option wasn't offered.

I'd also like to compliment the office receptionist. She was very friendly, courteous and helpful.

We hired The Leak Whisperers to install a gas line for a new pool heater and everything was great! Will definitely call them again for future needs.
