I haven't had to call a plumber this much (or ever) until we moved into an older house last year, but I'm thankful I came across 5J Plumbing.

Cameron & his helping hand thankfully worked me in before the weekend hit. I received a call when they were en route, which was much appreciated. They were courteous and quick to solve my problem. No complaints or questions asked when it came time to pay for their time & exceptional service. Im more than happy to shop local, and support family run businesses!

Mark Cruz of 'State of Matter' plumbing and backflow services repaired and replaced our old water heater. How old? Well, the manufacturing date on the heater was from ~20 years ago, THAT's how old.

State of Matter had to retool the space to fit the new heater, installed it quickly, and even vacuumed the area where they worked to get rid of the dust and dirt dragged in. That's professionalism that is rare these days.

Highly recommended you call SoM and make an appointment if you need service, even on the off days and hours.

We had a commercial water leak at a restaurant. We had a big company come out and give us a quote but when we called the next day to confirm, no one had any knowledge of the prior day's assessment and couldn't come out for hours. After calling multiple other plumbers, we came across Harrell Plumbing. What a relief!!! Jennifer and Brad were able to coordinate to have people on-site and working within no time. We did need to close for business, but also, they needed to dig 4 feet including through concrete. There is still work to be completed on the cleanup side, however, our water is fixed and the invoice was palpable. We were very please with Harrell and will make them our go-to plumber for work at this restaurant and our other business. #localforthewin

David is amazing!  Not only did he try to diagnose our problem over the phone but when we called him as we just couldn't fix the problem he came over within a couple hours and handled it.  He was extremely professional and I have recommended him to my Austin Moms of Multiples group.

Showed up on time and wore masks which was greatly appreciated! Thought we had a major problem with our garbage disposal only to find out it just needed reset. They reset it and everything worked great. Just charged us the $75 service fee. They were easy to get a hold of and were able to come out next day. Would gladly use them again.

I had a hot water replaced under my home warranty protection plan with American Home Shield.  I had the job assigned to Infinity Plumbing since the original assigned contractor was not acceptable due to a previous negative experience with that particular company.  AHS advised that Infinity was a prime vendor so I accepted their recommendation.  Ariel and Brandon were assigned to my job.  They came out and did the assessment of what I needed to have done.  They were prompt, appropriately dressed, very professional, as well as very personable.  They explained to me in very simple terms what needed to be done as far as my hot water heater replacement.  In addition to the hot water heater which required replacement, due to my high water pressure (which was 91), I needed a pressure regulator valve (PRV) as well as an expansion tank on my hot water heater. I had confirmed that these were required upgrades to code since my last hot water heater was replaced over 20 years ago.  They quoted me a price for the upgrades which I checked with other companies and it was very competitive.  Brandon and Ariel completed the repairs today and did an absolutely fantastic job.  Every action was completed to perfection and they ensured I was happy with each install before they moved on to the next item.   I couldn't have been happier and I give my highest endorsement to this company (which I don't do that often).  If you have a home warranty repair, I highly recommend that you have this job assigned to Infinity Plumbing and, if possible, ask for Brandon and Ariel--they will do you right and you'll e very impressed,  They're that good!!!  Bottom Line:  You can't beat Infinity's responsiveness, pricing, and professionalism.  In my opinion, that's the winning trifecta of what we homeowners are looking for in a plumbing company.  You won't be disappointed.

Since Bohmfalk Plumbing has been taken over by a new owner in April 2018, we've used them twice. Once for a water heater fix and once for a clogged drain. They responded same day and were fast and friendly. For the water heater I was quoted it would be $120 but since it was a much smaller fix, the
Guy only charged me $60. I highly recommend them. We plan to use them again next month when we remodel our bathroom. Ask for Robert when you call. He is who came out to our home both times and he did a fantastic job.

Gold Star Leak and Repair is a scam. Do yourself a favor and do not waste your money on a phoney leak detection. The technicians don't have the right equipment and Gold Star is incapable of producing a report of findings that is actionable for any repair. You will then find that they don't response to texts, emails and phone calls after they have your money. They are basically committing fraud by positioning themselves as a pool leak detection and repair company.

I called Precision (who is also now Fox through a buyout?) to service my AC.  They sent two technicians, one of who was very nice and the other not so.  The nice technician said up front that it was too cold to get a good reading off the AC, and I offered to set another date.  The not-so-nice technician insisted it could be done by wrapping garbage bags around it.

They were already out, and the not-nice one was insistent, so I let them look at the AC unit.

The nice technician got to work looking at the units in the attic, and the not-so-nice one started asking questions.  During the conversation, I mentioned that I had had trouble over the last couple of years because the refrigerant was low, and they were able to add some, and it worked fine.  The not-nice technician immediately started talking about a new unit without any diagnostic effort saying that the cost of a new unit might be cheaper than putting refrigerant in.  He said that even if it worked, the hole is likely bigger because they grow over time, so it would likely fail anyway.

It felt like we were in a verbal jousting match and ended up with the not-nice technician going down to look at the outside unit.  He looked at it briefly and pointedly noted that it was missing a sticker that goes right here.  (It looked like he was pointing at a random blank spot).  He said he would have to start putting the refrigerant in and weighing it out because there was no sticker on the unit.  I guess there is no way in today's age to get from a model number to information about the specs of a device.  

At that point, I was done.   I paid their service fee and asked them to leave.  The parting words from the not-nice technician were, We wouldn't put in a unit for you anyway.

I still don't know how a garbage bag would help, but there you go.
