Had a hot water heater that wouldn't stay lit (gas). C&W Plumbing backed out of their scheduled appointment with only 4 hours' notice, so I called Absolute.

Brian came that afternoon. Great attitude and professionalism. He tried 2 ways to repair based on the manufacturer's directions, removed the repair that wasn't needed, and only charged me for the repair that worked. I'll call Absolute first next time!

I highly recommend FTR Service Company.  He rescheduled his day to accommodate a plumbing repair that we needed right away.  He's on time, friendly, and within budget!!

While I have not used many plumbers, I would hope that they could all be as good as the people from Black Tie Plumbing. Jeremy was on time, made sure to call ahead, answered all my questions, and worked with me and their distributor to get a water heater that met my needs. I highly recommend their service and will definitely look to use them for future plumbing jobs.

Stan came out and swapped out my garbage disposal quickly and it works perfectly. Took care of a few other things as well. Definitely would recommend working with him!

They came out for a wax ring job that i personally didnt want to do..and a slow drain.
I was scheduled for noon, the guy called around 9:30am asking if he could come early. I was already home for other reasons, but the near-30 minute call ahead would have been perfect had i not been

The slow drain was just a matter of gunky stopper. no big deal. he guy didnt try an work me over.
He also noticed a busted gasket in the toilet tank and a crummy tank line hose...cheap fixes, too. go ahead! pls fix ALL my toilet woes!

my favorite part was probably just luck..... when he replaced my wax ring, it magically was fit correctly and my toilet doesnt rock anymore. he probably just seated it correctly, whereas my initial install may have been flubbed a bit... either way... i'd pay the money just to not have a rocking chair style toilet...hahahah BONUS!

So...
fair pricing - they price per 15 mins after the first hour. so you aren't paying for 2 full hours when a guy was only out for 1 hour and 15 mins.
timely - loved that they called ahead for an earlier time slot.

The guy is nice. seemed knowledgeable and it is a small operation.

honestly. i am going to use these guys for everything now! and have already recommended them to others!

We called Direct Source after another local plumbing concern sent out what turned out to be a salesman in response to our request to auger a stopped up drain. The salesman spent some time surveying our situation and, it seemed, surveying my wife and me to see how much they could milk us for. They wanted almost $800 to get an actual plumber/tech to come behind the salesman and do the job. Charged us $39 (reduced from $69, so I guess we got a bargain) for the service call.

Direct Source sent a real plumber, Wes Hart, who showed up at our door promptly. He discussed some potential solutions if our problem persists, but did a basic clean out for $160 that seemed to make the most sense as what ought to try before turning to more drastic options.

Anything Plumbing is the way to go! I prefer to seek the help of small businesses in our community so that my money goes back into the pockets of my neighbors and enriches our local economy. Anything Plumbing is a shining example of the excellent small businesses we have in McKinney!

Workmanship - Outstanding experience with Christopher from Anything Plumbing!  Evaluated and resolved the issue with our exterior faucet quickly and replaced it with higher quality materials that are more durable and longer lasting.

Came here quick,  and performed the work quickly as well.  Michael needed to open a wall,  but patched it so well didn't need to get a separate dry wall person,  and left a clean area.

I had ABC Plumbing come out again today and one again it was a great experience.  Clayton and Keller were here for faucet installation and toilet repairs and they were very nice to have on the projects.  They explained everything and did high quality work as well.  I'm impressed with this firm and their people, so I'll have them back again when we need any plumbing work done.

I had ABC plumbing out here for minor repairs 8 months ago, and I knew they do good work.

Speck Plumbing was incredible!  They were able to serve us the same day on an emergency water leak under the house.  They arrived on time, they were clean and they got it fixed and back to working order in less than 2 hours.  I won't have any other plumbers in my rolodex after today.  Speck is it!  Well done, guys.  Satisfied customer.

These people are the best you could hope to have working in your home.  Phillip is amazing doing everything we asked for and took the initiative to anticipate our future needs and he just did it!! His team of Trevor and Cameron were non stop action giving us EXCELLENT quality service, at a very fair price.  I can say the very same for Jeff in their HVAC department.  You tell Jeff what you need and just GET OUT of his way.  The integrity and professionalism for Phillip and Jeff should be definite role models for anyone in their profession.

ON TIME, quick & knowledgable! Was given a time window of 2-3 pm and he showed up around 2:20. Nathan came out to fix a toilet that has been getting clogged over and over. He finally got whatever was lodged cleared and we are so thankful. Wish we had done this sooner! While he was here I also complained about our terrible water pressure and he fixed that for us as well. If we have any issues in the future we will be calling them again!

We have a home warranty but we had to wait several days for our appointment. I was getting nervous about all the noises I was hearing from my water heater. I began looking for a company that could come out right away and advise whether I could wait for the appointment or if we were in the middle of an 'emergency'.
I appreciated the speed of their response which was less than 15 minutes. I also appreciated their professionalism and courtesy. They ended up telling me that I could wait for the warranty appointment and made me feel better about my water heater not causing some calamity in my home.
I recommend this company.

The tech who came out, Tom, was very professional and explained the problem to me in detail. He also showed me a picture of the pipes located under the house so I understood the situation. They were very easy to work with and also reasonably priced.

Excellent service!  Scheduled for a painting of cabinets and had to reschedule with the shelter in place.  Luis always keep me in the loop on availability and his crew was excellent.  Very professional and great results!  I would highly recommend TLC for your next home project.

Great Service!! we had a problem with our main line, and they fixed the problem before their estimated time, very friendly people and efficient.

Baker Brothers were very punctual for an emergency hot water repair.  That is wy they get one star.

UPDATE -
I wrote the complaint below.  I went to my mail box today and got a total refund.  Obviously a quality company...

However once at my home, they tried to sell me a new hot water tank immediately off the bat.  Then when it was requested they just repair the current hot water heater, they had to special order a part and it was almost as expensive as a new heater.  Plus I then had to go 3 more days with out hot water.  In the interim I had another company out that repaired the tank in less than 10 minutes.  Instant hot water.

I had to pay in advance for the special part.  I called to let Baker Bros. know and they were extremely rude.  I really didn't expect them to refund any money, all thought I had paid for the part and the labor in advance for the repair once the part came in.  You would think I could at least have my part....
