Best Businesses in Texas
Great guy that is honest and fair. Thanks for the help with my issue. Your expert advice was very helpful.

Fast Plumbing is the only one who provide phone call for rough estimate after unexpected and hefty estimate from another big plumbing firm near the end of business day and can provide service next day when my house was renovated and before put in market. Nearly all plumbing firms want to come to estimate and say maybe Service next week. At that time I didn't live in Austin and need rough price to be provided on that day and have service next day. Their receptionist lady is really courteous and professional and detailed in information. Without hesitation I hired them to fix and install new plumbing fixtures in newly installed vanity. Eric and his senior stuff are professional and helpful and very frankly speaking. Indeed they are really fast and reliable. Thank you.

Highly recommend Legit Plumbing. I had an unusual problem with my toilet, and Sam had to do a lot of research to come up with a solution that worked. I think his pricing is fair, and they did an excellent job. Happy to call him if I need any more plumbing work done.

Super awesome, very professional, thorough and excellent priced--which all feels hard to come by these days!

Mike is super knowledgeable and professional. We had a pretty complex set up with a free-standing bathtub, and a couple other guys turned down the job. I was really happy to find Greenwave to accept the job. Mike showed up with a positive can-do attitude, and even though it took a couple of return trips and a few different parts, I am happy to report everything is now working perfectly.
Taylor is also friendly and courteous and makes scheduling a breeze.
I look forward to recommending Greenwave to my friends and family and using Greenwave again should the occasion arise.

A few days ago, I woke up to leaking hot water all over my floor in the morning. This company answered my call (I love that they are available 24 hours a day!), gave me a great quote, explained warranty options to me and didn't charge me extra for coming out late at night. They were very knowledgeable and polite, Not only that, the installer allowed me to watch the entire process so I could learn how to do it myself in the future. Lastly, he cleaned up the entire area after he was done with the installation procedure. If you are looking for qualified plumbers for replacing hot water heaters with professional courtesy and in a timely manner, these are your guys!

Called for service on a Monday to repair shower faucet. Dispatch promptly(in 2 hrs) sent someone over. I was relieved, no water in house. Tried to repair leak, wasn't able to.. left me the option of capping pipe so water could be turned on or replacing shower fixture. Bill estimated at $400, this is for 1 hour. Shower replacement quoted at $1600. Stupid of me I decide to have the shower replaced. Tech disappears for hours. Returns with supplies
No new faucet/diverter.
Replaces valve, puts old diverter back on because of time restraints. Would assume he'd return to replace with new part. Only thing concerned about is getting their money, charge you a fee for credit card use.
Shower not properly working and I've no confidence at their effect rate of $ 400 an hour I can afford to have them finish the job. They obviously lack the integrity to do so in the first place.
This isn't a company concerned about a business relationship, they're smash and grab plumbing at its worse. Don't believe 5 star reviews, they're bogus.
Don't trust anyone who won't give you an itemized detail of their work, it's always hiding something.
New name, JustUs out to screw you on your plumbing.
We never put your crises over our profit.

We recently used Malco to fix a number of small problems with outside lighting and plugs. From start to finish, they were great to work with. They called the morning of our appointment to confirm their arrival time. Fixed our problems quickly and were great in explaining what the causes and fixes were. And their prices were very reasonable for the work done. We will use Malco again for any electrical work.

Really good on these guys. Not only were they able to schedule us in quickly to repair a fan/light that abruptly stopped working, but three months later when it suddenly stopped working again, they came out same-day and fixed it again for no additional cost. The workmen and the contact point person have all been very polite and helpful.
Thanks guys!
Thanks guys!

These guys really came through for me. I had a complex job that had to be coordinated with a countertop contractor. Victor from Grayzer came by and explained that I could save money by having him come back and perform the electrical work after the tear-out. He didn't charge me for the initial call, and then showed up at exactly the right time as the contractor was finishing the countertop install a couple of days later. Victor did a great job in a short time and was able to work around some unique challenges that were presented by my house's original construction. I wish there were more professionals like Victor out there.

I called Russell electric few days ago. I told him that i need a quick appointment and he not only gave me an earliest appointment but also gave me good tips for checking the problem myself until then.
And when he came to my house he found the problem in 5 minutes and then he charged me much lesser then what we have discussed before because problem was not exactly what we were thinking.
Overall i am very happy with his professionalism, honesty and quick response.
He completely deserves 5 star or more .

DO NOT USE AAA Auger! They do not back up their work!
AAA Auger sold and installed a gas water heater at my home in June 2009. On October 31, 2011, Texas Gas turned off gas to my water heater as they said the water heater was not drafting properly and was allowing carbon monoxide into my home and garage. Texas Gas said that I must correct this dangerous situation before they would turn on the gas.
I contacted AAA Auger and they sent a plumber to my house on 11/01/2011. The plumbersaid the installation of the gas water heater was not in code and that the piping was not drafting properly as it was not sealed to the water heater. He wanted to have Texas Gas contact AAA Auger before he proceeded with any work.
I had a three way conference call with the Texas Gas technician and AAA Auger. Texas Gas explained what needed to be done prior to turning gas back on. AAA Auger denied what Texas Gas said and denied what their own plumber had said regarding the drafting problem due to the installation. AAA Auger said they would only make their installation right and within code if I paid them to do so.

Answering service said they didn't service area they show they have an office. Had to call and follow up myself to try to schedule service.
After successfully ci firming they did service my area (and allegedly have an office less than a mile from my house), they also confirmed they could perform the work I was requesting and would have a free service call to evaluate. They required a 4 hour service call window, so I did a a 2pm-6pm window. After taking off a half-day to accommodate, I finally got a call at 6:30pm. The plumber simply told me they did not offer the service I needed (installation of a studor vent because my older house did not have a p-trap or vent for the washing machine drain). He told me at that time that they do not offer the service and he could quote the price to remove the faulting running trap and install a new one. I informed him I was not certain I even had a running trap, to which he said I probably did. I asked that he still come out to assess the situation just so verify. He fumbled around and said he would have to call his supervisor. He called back 5 minutes later and said it would be $12,850 to replace the running trap (that he didn't even know if I had). I asked that he still come out to look at it, and he said it would be $499 just to run a camera. No thanks, obviously a company that doesn't care about customer or the work.
Got a local small business to come out that next day, ran a camera for $75 to confirm I DID NOT even have a running trap, and they installed a new washing machine box, p-trap, and studor vent for less than $500.
Obviously a company that has grown too big to provide good service - have a 3rd party answering service that doesn't even know their service area, and plumbers that will do anything they can to avoid adhering to the service calls when their day is running long.
