Our garbage disposal was leaking so I called and they got someone out within a couple of hours. Dan and his assistant were able to install a new disposal which isn't easy with the challenging set-up we have in our old home. They were also able to fix a previous issue from another plumbing company. I have used them several times for various things and each time they are extremely professional, experienced and do such a great job! Thank you!!

These guys are so incredibly HONEST. I have had them come out to our home 3 times, and each time they have delivered the best service. One time they told me 'no, don't do that.' A very respectful and courteous plumber arrived within only a few hours to fix one of our outside hose bibs. Even as new customers they were able to work us in on the same day! These guys are some of the best in the business around the Boerne and greater San Antonio area. They were friendly and quick to respond to a water heater issue I had. One company estimated a whole new install and water heater and another company I called was too slow to respond or schedule a visit. But HCP came out to look at my water heater and replaced the heating element and cleared out sediment buildup at the bottom. They gave me a great rate and simple breakdown on an estimate right away and fixed all of the issues I had. Thank you to Sam and Vinny for everything. I've known a few others in Boerne who have used them and vouch for them as well. I will definitely stick with ya'll with any other issues I have!

Our water heater was not working, so I called Sears Home Warranty to place a service call. Sears could not make it out that day, so they sent Premier Plumbing Services.  
On Wednesday, December 7, 2022, Ruben from Premier Plumbing Services came out on the service call and determined that we needed a new water heater. Ruben told my husband that we would be responsible of paying an access fee of 335.00. It would cover having them take the new water heater to the second floor, then bring the old water heater down to the first floor and the disposal fee. We understand the disposal fee, which Ruben said was 50.00. We cannot believe we were going to be charged 285.00 to bring the new water heater upstairs so they could install it and bring the old one down!  Ruben was not making any changes to it; he was only installing, it exactly where we had it before, with no modifications.  Ruben advised my husband that he would have to return on Friday because the water heater was not on stock and would have it by Friday. My husband was told if the water heater would have been in the garage we would not have been charged that access fee. We would only have paid the disposal fee.
I tried to switch companies, but Sears did not let me because Premier Plumbing had already started the service call. On Friday, December 9th, they came to install it. I was unsuccessful in getting someone to help me bring the old water heater down and the new one up stairs. Ruben asked me; so you really want to move them yourselves? I replied, yes. Then he replied, I can pick up my equipment and will come back later.  I agreed, then he proceed to say...I will  go do another service, but I can't guarantee that I will return today and we don't work on the weekends. I replied, then you pretty much have my back against the wall because I can not be without hot water for another two days... Just do what you have to do.
The new water heater was installed, but Ruben could not get it to ignite. He said he needed to change a part (ignitor) to see if that was the reason that it was not igniting. He changed the part and was able to ignite the water heater. I should not have allowed him replace the part, I should have asked him to replace the entire water heater considering it was supposedly new... but I didn't.
After he left; I was reviewing the receipt more closely, when I noticed that Ruben changed the disposal fee for 50 to 95.00 and lowered the access fee. The total still came out the same 335.00. Then, I  remembered Ruben commenting that he should be charging more for the disposal fee. I assume that he changed it so Sears Home Warranty could see his disposal charge.
To top it off, Ruben said to me, as he was walking out of the house, I would not be able to take cold showers. I would rather rent a motel room or go  to a friends house to take a hot shower. I replied, unfortunately, we had no choice but to take cold showers.
I believe that we were taken advantage of; due to the fact that our water heater broke during cold weather. I would not recommend this company to anyone. We have reached out to Cinch, who is the company that handles Sears Home Warranty, to put a complaint. If that doesn't work we will look filing a dispute.

This was our first time dealing with the Greenshire Handyman service and will definitely use them again. AJ was professional, knowledgeable, and patient with us on ensuring our projects would get completed as we expected. Additionally, he took the time to explain the entire scope of work and absolutely made sure we were happy with the final outcome. He even touched up some items that needed some attention. The customer service was pleasant and attentive to leaving our home as clean as possible. Great to have this business be local to us and will definitely use them again!

No way.  High estimate, then offered 15% discount by email.  Used trivial excuse (did not have correct hose to install water softener, after telling me I did not need to buy they installation kit because they had all of the parts) during job to jack up price again, removing discount.  Work was of substandard quality and the lead plumber did not bother to check his apprentice's work, with the result that another plumber had to come back to correct some of the work.  Worst plumbing company I have ever dealt with in my life.

We had what we thought was a leaky pipe under the kitchen sink, and I've been having a hard time finding anyone who would give me a personal recommendation for a plumber.  So I resorted to yelp. Based on the Yelp reviews, Mike's Plumbing was my number one choice.  

Mike's Plumbing Service has the Responsible Plumber Endorsement from the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners.  I looked him up by his license number, and it shows License Status: Current.  Expiry Date: 04/30/2016.  It also shows Certification of Insurance: Yes. Insurance Expiry Date: 10/01/2015.

I happened to call on Friday morning before a long holiday weekend. Unfortunately for me, Mike was out of town visiting relatives and didn't respond until Tuesday.  That was my bad luck, because in the meantime, since I didn't hear back from Mike, I called my second choice (based on yelp), Mr. Plumber.  Mr. Plumber said they could send someone out right away on Friday, but I ended up (due to my schedule) arranging the appointment with Mr. Plumber on Tuesday morning.

When Mr. Plumber came out Tuesday morning, the guy said we did not have a leaky pipe.  Instead we had a leaky faucet that needed to be replaced.  Mr. Plumber said he would charge me $575.00 to replace the faucet.  YOWSERS!!!!  More than $500?  I couldn't believe it.  I felt Mr. Plumber was over-charging me, so I decided not to do business with them. For this bit of knowledge, I had to pay the $65.00 site visit fee to Mr. Plumber.  (If I had gone with their recommended repair, the $65.00 would have been absorbed into the $575.00 cost.)

I checked around and found out I could buy a nice faucet for about $200 from Lowe's or a cheap faucet for $99 + tax (about $108).  If you go into the store and sign a contract, the Lowe's on Callaghan Rd will arrange for a plumber to install the faucet for $100.  That would have been the cheapest thing, but when you go that route, you don't know the quality of the plumber you will get.

As luck would have it, after Mr. Plumber's visit and right after I got off the phone with Lowe's on Callaghan, Mike's Plumbing called me back.  Boy, was I glad to hear from him.  He said he could come over and replace the faucet for $165, as long as I could get the faucet and have it ready at the house.  Yes, this was more expensive than the $100 installation quote from Lowe's, but I had a good feeling about going with Mike, and what's more, he said he could come out and install the faucet the very next morning.  I'm guessing there would have been a lot more wait time if I had gone through some contractor through Lowe's.  So I paid an extra $65 to go with Mike.

Mike was very professional and came out the next morning to install the faucet as promised.  He did a great job.  As I'm out of town, he even sent me photos of the old and new faucet, as well as a photo of his invoice.

Cost savings by going with Mike's Plumbing: $237.00.

To be fair, if we compare apples to apples and replace with exact same quality of faucet, the price would have been an additional $80 + tax.  So if I had gotten the nicer faucet, my cost savings would have been only $150.00, but that's still a good chunk of change.

(I went with the cheaper faucet at Lowe's because I was reeling from the $338.00 total figure.  With $80 + tax more, it would have been $425.00! Goodness gracious. The cheaper faucet is fine for now, as it kept the total cost closer to $300.)

Although this was an expensive setback, the silver lining is that now I've found a good plumber.  If I ever need a plumber in San Antonio, I know who to call.  Mike's Plumbing.

Needed a backflow test done so I texted Lauren and she replied promptly with the price. After checking with a few other businesses, this was the best price so I texted back to move forward with the test. They emailed me an invoice, did the test the same day. They emailed once it was completed, I paid online and received a receipt and copy of the report. The entire process was excellent and convenient!

We've used Ruben's plumbing twice now and both times it was a great experience! They came super quick to fix a leak in our upstairs bathroom that was leaking into downstairs. Will definitely use them for our bathroom remodel!

We had purchased a new manufactured home to be installed on our property and needed a plumber to connect water and septic. M R Plumbing was pleasant to deal with, on time and on budget with his work, which was very professional.

We called quarter moon for a backed up toilet and shower for the home we purchased. The plumber said they pushed the blockage out to the main sewer but two weeks later: same issue. Used the toilet maybe half a dozen times. I called and the customer service manager said it wasn't covered in by their 90 day warranty because we elected not to pay another $300 up sell at the time of service for a camera run down the pipes. Also they came in at twice their estimated cost for the service in the first place. They won't be getting my business or my recommendation.

I recently had a new AC installed.  This past weekend, it was not functioning properly.
Air was not cold coming out of vents.
Very upsetting.
I called Goettl and Eli was sent to check my AC.  
He was very professional,  affable and very knowledgeable.
He found the problem right away.  A valve was leaking coolant.  The installer didn't make sure the valve was shut tight!
Also helped me open panel where filter is located.  It was shut so that I couldn't open it at all.  
Eli did get it open and removed old filter.  Advised me to use smaller one that is inserted at bottom of AC.  
He tested everything, and took time to show me how to maneuver the control panel.
It was stuck on Celcius.
He rates 5+++++++ stars!!
I am so thankful Eli responded to my call and addressed all needs!!  Awesome customer service!!

Would have liked to have the opportunity to give this company a review unfortunately they never arrived they kept on making excuses as to why they weren't able to come at the appointment time. After 6 hours they decided they weren't going to make it that day. Wouldn't even ask them for a free estimate anymore!
