I've used Juan once and recommended to a friend. He's very knowledgeable and professional. He is very fast to respond, even on Christmas Eve. Thank you!

They gave us good service and workmanship. I talked with several of their competitors who were a lot more aggressive. I am pleased and would highly recommend George Plumbing.

Highlights,
Military discount given
Rates are much cheaper than other plumbers that I called previously
Give warranty on workmanship and parts
Do emergency calls
location is local
I gave this company Five stars, well deserved. The background, I received a $450 plus water bill and I was in panic mode, I called the plumber that the builder gave as an emergency number. I was giving the cold shoulder and told that i was out of warranty. They referred me to another plumber, so I called that plumber and they couldn't be reached.
I started looking at yelp and google for a plumber, this was the first plumber that was local and had more than 4 stars. I took a chance on this company and it paid off.
First the young technicians threw me off, but after talking to them and discussing my problem. They found the problem sooner than I would of thought. It turns out the pressure regulator was leaking from the main water to the house and it was pushing high pressure of 90 psi when it's needs to be set between 40 to 75 psi. The pressure made my water softener work over time and it was dumping more water than it was suppose too. I would need a new regulator to bring down the pressure and stop the leaking, after the authorization, the technicians jumped into action mode and finished installing the part in hour.
As of right now, I have scratched out the builder's plumber and added this company number in replacement.

I'd like to give Chris Copeland a huge shoutout for the quality of work, customer service and competitive pricing on our tankless water heater installation. #CMCPlumbing.

Have used Hill country plumbing for a slab leak, water heater replacement and faucet replacements. Very happy, no upcharges or attempts to sell unneeded work. Honesty and integrity..My go to now and in the future.

I have finally found my regular plumber. After multiple visits from other plumbers that just did a band aid fix that didn't address the actual source of the problem, Austin came out and immediately started asking questions to fully understand what was going on.
I could tell he really knows his stuff and would be able to diagnose and fix the issue the right way.
The quote I received was what I think is a fair price, and I have every confidence that his work will be top notch.
Stop searching for plumbers and give these guys a call!

I can only echo the other reviews. Braulio is fantastic - quick to reply, straightforward/reasonable pricing, and very friendly. It's like having a good friend over that's also an expert plumber. I have contacted and used many other plumbers in Austin, and they can't hold a candle to Braulio. He is head and shoulders above the rest, and the only person I will call (and recommend) for plumbing.

AJ with Greenshire Handyman came by to paint some shutters on my home that I could not reach. His team did a fantastic job. The communication was excellent and timely and he was prompt. He brought the supplies he needed and the shutters look great! Thanks AJ.

I did not expect, when I called at 10:00 AM to complain about my busted water heater, that they would have a water heater installed and running by 2:00 PM. They were fast, professional, clean. They took away the old water heater, fixed up the space for the new one, got the gas connections up to code, and fixed up the venting system so that everything is safety compliant. And given how fast they were, I decided to complain about a dripping faucet, and they got right to it and made sure to get it fixed. They were cheap, also, and mellow and friendly. And they wear footies over their shoes to minimize dirt in the house. I definitely would work with them again!

Excellent service. Our sewer pipe broke and they were quick, did good work, and were the best price option.

We had what we thought was a leaky pipe under the kitchen sink, and I've been having a hard time finding anyone who would give me a personal recommendation for a plumber. So I resorted to yelp. Based on the Yelp reviews, Mike's Plumbing was my number one choice.
Mike's Plumbing Service has the Responsible Plumber Endorsement from the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners. I looked him up by his license number, and it shows License Status: Current. Expiry Date: 04/30/2016. It also shows Certification of Insurance: Yes. Insurance Expiry Date: 10/01/2015.
I happened to call on Friday morning before a long holiday weekend. Unfortunately for me, Mike was out of town visiting relatives and didn't respond until Tuesday. That was my bad luck, because in the meantime, since I didn't hear back from Mike, I called my second choice (based on yelp), Mr. Plumber. Mr. Plumber said they could send someone out right away on Friday, but I ended up (due to my schedule) arranging the appointment with Mr. Plumber on Tuesday morning.
When Mr. Plumber came out Tuesday morning, the guy said we did not have a leaky pipe. Instead we had a leaky faucet that needed to be replaced. Mr. Plumber said he would charge me $575.00 to replace the faucet. YOWSERS!!!! More than $500? I couldn't believe it. I felt Mr. Plumber was over-charging me, so I decided not to do business with them. For this bit of knowledge, I had to pay the $65.00 site visit fee to Mr. Plumber. (If I had gone with their recommended repair, the $65.00 would have been absorbed into the $575.00 cost.)
I checked around and found out I could buy a nice faucet for about $200 from Lowe's or a cheap faucet for $99 + tax (about $108). If you go into the store and sign a contract, the Lowe's on Callaghan Rd will arrange for a plumber to install the faucet for $100. That would have been the cheapest thing, but when you go that route, you don't know the quality of the plumber you will get.
As luck would have it, after Mr. Plumber's visit and right after I got off the phone with Lowe's on Callaghan, Mike's Plumbing called me back. Boy, was I glad to hear from him. He said he could come over and replace the faucet for $165, as long as I could get the faucet and have it ready at the house. Yes, this was more expensive than the $100 installation quote from Lowe's, but I had a good feeling about going with Mike, and what's more, he said he could come out and install the faucet the very next morning. I'm guessing there would have been a lot more wait time if I had gone through some contractor through Lowe's. So I paid an extra $65 to go with Mike.
Mike was very professional and came out the next morning to install the faucet as promised. He did a great job. As I'm out of town, he even sent me photos of the old and new faucet, as well as a photo of his invoice.
Price quoted from Mr. Plumber: $575.00
Price I paid:
$65 for Mr. Plumber visit (charged because I refused their services)
+ $165 for Mike's Plumbing Faucet Installation
+ $108 for new (cheapo) faucet
---------
$338.00
Cost savings by going with Mike's Plumbing: $237.00.
To be fair, if we compare apples to apples and replace with exact same quality of faucet, the price would have been an additional $80 + tax. So if I had gotten the nicer faucet, my cost savings would have been only $150.00, but that's still a good chunk of change.
(I went with the cheaper faucet at Lowe's because I was reeling from the $338.00 total figure. With $80 + tax more, it would have been $425.00! Goodness gracious. The cheaper faucet is fine for now, as it kept the total cost closer to $300.)
Although this was an expensive setback, the silver lining is that now I've found a good plumber. If I ever need a plumber in San Antonio, I know who to call. Mike's Plumbing.
I'm so glad I found Mike.

I can't give an accurate rating based on their services provided. I can only address their lack of response. I contacted them twice within several weeks, left voicemails with callback numbers each time and a small description of what the problem was and not once got a callback.

We had purchased a new manufactured home to be installed on our property and needed a plumber to connect water and septic. M R Plumbing was pleasant to deal with, on time and on budget with his work, which was very professional.
Thankful to have found this business. Highly recommend it.

George and his team took steps to keep my cost low, arrived on time, and worked efficiently to replace a failed Manabloc. I appreciate their honest advice, professionalism, and reasonable cost. They worked very hard on my behalf to find parts and keep costs low.

Had a leak and rattle. My system is 2 years old. Tech was very disrespectful and also misdiagnosed issue. Told me I needed new unit. Then told me I should contact company who installed it charged me $89 and left. I called installer, they took care of the leak unclogging drain and the rattle...no new ac needed. I've waited a couple months to review to make sure things were good and everything is in working order. Will never call these guys again.

My A/C stopped working so I called to have it checked out. It was working perfectly fine even during the 100 degree days we were having. The first thing I noticed is that a salesman arrived with the technician. But maybe that was standard for them. The technician only asked where the units were located and nothing else. After about fifteen minutes the salesman tells me basically everything was bad. The compressor, fan motor, capacitor, evaporator coil leak, and low on refrigerant. He stated that because the system used the old R22 freon the cost would not warrant fixing it and that I should just replace the system.
Hmm. Let me see. One day the system is fine and the next most everything is bad. What are the odds.
Second Opinion Time.
I called in another company and they stated that the capacitor is bad. The fan motor was using more electricity than it should but still worked. The compressor had overheated but he used the hose to cool it down in 5 minutes and it started working. This company did everything in front of me and showed me all the readings. Aramendia showed me nothing. I got some system replacement quotes (lower tan Aramendia's) from him and he left without repairing anything.
The next day I bought a capacitor for $70 and replaced it in 10 minutes. I overly stressed the system the rest of the 100+ degree day and my daughter asked for a blanket. It has been running perfectly fine for 4 days now for a system that needed to be replaced.
I had used Aramendia before but it looks like Aramendia has become a system replacement company and not a system repair company.
