These guys were great! They were responsive, courteous, and thorough!

A month or so ago, we moved down to The Woodlands from California to be close to a sick family member. A couple nights ago (Friday before 4th of July weekend, of course), the kitchen sink started to back up. It wasn't just a bit slow, it was pretty much unusable. I'm pretty sure I heard it laugh at me when I poured Drano down it. It did nothing.

They responded quickly and were able to come out on Sunday. Boy, I'm glad they did! They pulled out so much gunk out of the pipes! I forget the name of the plumber that came out, but I appreciate his dedication towards ensuring we didn't need to have them come out again. He snaked the pipes almost all the way to the outside of the house, clearing out what was assuredly years of gross build up!

We'll totally use them again if we have any other plumbing problems. I'd highly recommend them!

George and Jesse were so polite, down-to-earth, (loved the plumber stories - hilarious & even made me feel better about my own situation, lol) and let's not forget...fast! After a mishap with some feminine products and toddler toilet paper parties, I had things backing left and right simultaneously and a pool forming in my master shower.. ugh :-/

I called J&G, George answered & gave me some immediate instructions and took my address, and within an hour and a half - they arrived and had my lines cleared! Woohoo!

Not cheap - but nothing about plumbing usually is. I have no qualms and highly recommend! I will definitely call them again when needed!

George was one of the few plumbers to answer his phone and put us on his schedule for emergency repairs during the recent big freeze. He regularly responded regarding schedule and showed up today during the scheduled window. Polite and professional we had water restored about an hour after his arrival.

I am so thankful J&G plumbing were able to come out immediately! They help me find the source of the leak for my island, so now I can move forward with insurance and dealing with Lowe's to get my island completely replaced. WOW! Not often can we just applaud a business for such amazing job! Let me just say George and Jessie picked up the phone and heading my way in all of 30 minutes from me hanging up the phone. My sink was so stopped up and full of grease. They had to snake it twice. It had even managed to back up into a bathtub. Which they unplugged and cleaned out. He made sure that the water was flowing from the clean-out outside, as well as the sink and bathtub inside.
I can't say enough about these two. Thank you so much for being prompt, courteous and just professional. Hope I don't need a plumber any time soon, but if I do, these two guys will be who I will be asking for!

They came out promptly to give us a quote for whole house repiping. Their pricing was very competitive and we decided to go with them based on quote and prior reviews. We are very happy we did! The group of men that came worked very hard to get the job done and kept us in the loop with process all along the way. Stellar service. Clifford answered the phone directly when I had a plumbing emergency. After I explained the situation he said he would be there between 11:30 and 1:30 - only a couple hours advance notice. Made sure we had turned the water off first - showed up earlier than promised. Got right to the situation and gave me a detailed explanation of the problem and offered a couple solutions. Once we decided on the best option he got right to work and fixed our attic leak. Verified all was dry and even fixed a couple other things I had mentioned. All in about 45 minutes. Clifford is awesome! Thank you - we will be calling you guys for all future plumbing work!

We called J&G for prior work and were satisfied. This time, however, no such luck. My phone call was answered right away, a time was scheduled, and I was asked to text my address. I found out that my husband had a doctor's appointment and texted right back to see if we could move the appointment forward a few hours. No response. Texted again. No response. My husband finally called and they were to be out at 5:00. We cancelled dinner plans to make sure we were home. They never showed up and never called. Too bad, while they were out I was going to also get a quote for whole-house repipe.

George from J&G Plumbing came over to my house about a week and a half ago to replace my broken faucet and a major drain problem in my upstairs bathroom. When I called to schedule an appointment, I called late in the day. To my surprise, George answered (not an answering sevice) and worked around my schedule. He came over on a Saturday and didn't charge extra because it was the weekend. He was quick but thorough. He was also really responsive when I texted him. He showed up on time, too. I am very happy with the work that was done and will only be calling J&G when I have a plumbing need in the future.

Called to make an appointment to have them look at a plumbing issue I was having. They said they would come later that day. They never showed up. They never answered my texts or called me back. Don't waste your time waiting on them to come by. Find someone else.

These are the plumbing service to use. Had outside sewer backup. They were here within couple hours with a smile and I didn't even say emergency. Fixed it quick and more than fair costs for such. No smoke or mirrors, just expedient and professional doing their job. Will definitely use J&G in future as need be and refer to friends as well. One would be foolish to not use them in my opinion.

This is to review my first experience with J&G and May say what a surprise. Called with a bit of an emergency and these guys from start to finish were informative and profesional. Showed up to the house glanced at our problem and within a few minutes got a quote for the repair. The second I said let's do it Clifford was on a roll to make it happen. A few hours later we received confirmation that everything was done. They made sure everything was working as it should before leaving.

Very professional service! Long story short- after talking to 2 other companies and getting absurd quotes over the phone and being told i would have to wait 2 days I found J&G Plumbing. I dealt with George and explained my issue. He did not give me a ridiculous quote over the phone and was at my house that afternoon! Spoke with him around 10 am he was there at 2:40 pm! Fixed my issue in less than 2 hours and my bill was minimal- way cheaper than what the other companies quoted me! George was very nice and professional! Thanks J&G for saving my kitchen!! George is top notch!!!! Totally supports veterans. We called needing a gas line moved in our kitchen and 2 toilets installed. Great pricing, came out when he said he would and did a top notch job. he had to break into the sheetrock and repaired it like a pro. We plan on using him for the rest of Harvey disaster. We did not have insurance so he was right on target with pricing.

I called them when the hot water heater needed to be replaced. They came on the same day to check out the set up and were back the next day. It was incredibly hot and the water heater was in the attic. They were very efficient and fast. They took the time to explain the functions and maintenance. Great company. Highly recommend.

We called on Sunday evening and they were willing and ready to come out that day! We ultimately scheduled for between 8am-9am Monday morning(our choice). They got to our home in the indicated timeframe which is always appreciated and finished quickly. They provided a reasonable quote and were very professional even over the phone. I love it when a contractor shows up early rather than late! These guys were available on short notice and squeezed me into their morning schedule the very next day of my call. Talk about almost instant gratification!!!They were professional, courteous and hard working. They quoted me a flat fee for replacing my water heater in the attic even though they ended up having to replace some extra piping. I would use them again and highly recommend them to friends and family!

I have two water heaters that were 10 years old. One sprung a leak the night before we left for a trip. Unfortunately, we had guests arriving the day after we returned. Hence, we needed a replacement at a reasonable price and a certain time.

I researched plumbing companies on Yelp and spoke with 3-4 while at the airport, in transit, etc. Many would not give me a quote without coming out for a hard sell estimate even though I had pictures I could send.

J&G called me back very quickly. I explained the situation and what others had told me thus far. They were very professional, explained the pro's & con's of each water heater, and provided a great price and schedule. I did my own research and confirmed what they told me.

I called them back that afternoon, requested a certain day and time for the install. They were so great I told them to replace both water heaters (figure the other was not far behind).

Neal and Clifford arrived right on time. As always happens, they ran into a few complications but never complained. They were very polite and hard working.

I would highly recommend J & G Plumbing. If nothing else, give them a call and discuss your issue.

As for the other plumbers with the hard sell, you lost out on two water heater replacements instead of one (and a great review).

Conclusion - always provide the highest level of customer service. It pays back in multiples.

Awesome service! Found them on yelp when a leak under our sink appeared. I called them on Friday at 11:30 and they were here by 2:15 that same day! Very efficient, quickly found the problem and fixed it, very personable. Very reasonable price.

I saw a lot of good reviews on Neighborhood app. Then I saw the good reviews on YELP. I called 7 different plumbers for a quote to replace a hot water heater. Not only was J&G the lowest quote they arrived early the next day and were finished in less than 1.5 hours. I have definitely found a new plumber.

We had a recent issue with the house-to-the-street sewer system. Everything backed-up into our house, so needless to say, the call we placed to this provider was considered an emergency call. Emergency call - extra charge? Would they arrive quickly - or a day later?

This company not only promised a SPECIFIC TIME RANGE they would be out, but they also said their prices were extremely competitive (which was also true).

* Stated they would be out between 10:00 - 10:30am, and would call 30 minutes ahead to advise their arrival. They called at 10:05am and were here by 10:20am. That in itself is amazing enough.
* Job completed in 30 - 40 minutes.
* Used top quality equipment.
* High customer ratings.

And the best part of their service ...before the work began, they showed my husband exactly what was happening so he could physically see the issue - and not just be told. Total cost, was about $100 less than the other quotes I received.

Great experience from beginning to end. George spent time advising me on the phone, reviewing pictures, and providing an accurate estimate. He and Jeremy then came and installed a new water heater on very short notice. They arrived on-time, were professional and cheerful, and completed the work at the estimated cost. George, the owner of J&G.Plumbing came out at 11:00 PM emergency call on a Sunday to unblock my clogged sewer drain which was causing my toilets to overflow from the seal and have raw sewage coming into my shower..Ughh! I called several local plumbing companies in the area who claimed to offer 24/7 emergency calls, but they either did not answer or the technician never called back ( sound fsmiliar) I found J&G.Plumbing and George the owner was at my house in 30 min..Got my sewer unclogged..Talked to my home warranty company and was out in 30 min. George was proffessional, courteous and punctual! I highly recommend J&G.Plumbing for emergency service or any plumbing job that requires a proffessional.

I got home on a Saturday evening to find water coming from the ceiling of my master bath. I checked Yelp quickly, saw lots of stars on J&G and gave them a call about 11PM. They answered (not an answering service!) and he told me he would be there in an hour to hour and a half. However, it only took about a half hour or so for him to arrive and he had found the leak, completely fixed the problem by replacing a small piece of pipe in the attic and was gone by midnight. I was thrilled. I was worried about what a Saturday late night service call would cost but I was pleasantly surprised and feel that the charge was very fair. Definitely recommend!

I can't rave enough about George at J&G Plumbing. I live in a newer home, but have had my share of plumbing woes. Fortunately, I came across George's business on Yelp & decided to give them a try. Being new to Houston, I didn't know who to call to get a quote and plumbing service for our new office/yard in Spring. George was amazing (found him on Yelp). On 5/13 we bought our home.
On 5/17 we called J & G Plumbing due to a very slow drain on my son's shower. Two guys come in they were very polite and nice. Charged $175.00 to fix the issue. We did see much improvement but they said that because the house was built in 1985 that the pipes are in bad shape.
On 6/20 we called them again for the same issue that they had supposedly fixed. Other 2 guys come in very polite and nice but charged us $100.00 for the call. I asked what was the problem this time he said there was a bunch of hair there. WAIT, my son is the only one using that bathroom. My son is 9 and we trim his hair at an 1/8 of an inch so that hair was the original issue that your company did fix. This other guy said well no the problem is the your house is older so the pipes are bad. What does that have to do with the fact that the first 2 guys didn't remove the hair? I didn't want to argue so I paid them.
If you don't have a brand new house don't call them if you want the job done right.
Their lose is that we bought this 1985 home to update it and all 4 bathrooms need to be done BUT not by them.

Great company! I had a leak at the main water line to my house which was caused by a crappy fence guy who hit the line and claimed he fixed it..a year ago! I called this morning at 10 am and was told they would arrive between 1-2...1 pm on the dot they were here to fix it! A couple of hours later, they had us up and running. They fixed the problem in the rain..great technicians!

No issues with the water heater replacement but this company is not your typical company. They have to write everything down off your credit cards in order to accept payment. When I looked at the credit card website there was a charge of $33 dollars over the amount on my bill. I called them and the owner answered the phone and told me they charge an additional 3% when using a credit card though this does not appear on the bill. I said they never told me this when I paid and he said they will send me a check for the $33 and they did. I called a few times and twice they answer Hello instead of announcing the company name. The two techs showed up dressed in t-shirts and genes (See the photo on their website) and that is OK but they never alerted me when they would arrive so when I looked through the window I had no idea who these two people were. I just thought it odd that anyone operates like this now days. I had to tell them to adjust the position (rotate)of the water heater as the drain plug would not work as it was not centered to drain. I would recommend them but don't think you're getting one of the large plumbing companies when they come out.
