This man and his company are an absolute GODSEND. We had a burst pipe from the great freeze of 2021 and he came to service our neighbor so we popped over to watch. By the time we walked over, HE WAS DONE. Our neighbor was incredibly impressed and so we asked if he had extra time to peek over at our situation. He walked over and I kid you not, within 20 minutes, he was done with our pipe!!
Not only was a quick, friendly, and informative, but he also didn't try to price gouge us. While other places were quoting $700, $800, and $500 to fix one pipe, our grand total came to $165. I am so thankful that people like Mr. Warren exist.

Unfortunately nowadays some businesses will intentionally post 5 star reviews or even hire someone do it. Case in point, these couple of reviews here are posted by people living California when the business is in Houston, TX.... hmmm, go figure. And they barely got any other reviews here too. BIG RED FLAG.

BEWARE.
I'm so bummed to have to share this, but I feel, due to integrity, I must.
In case you are searching for a reputable plumbing company in the Houston/Katy area, please read this first before choosing this company.
My elderly mother + I have used this company multiple times over the years. No longer.
I live out of state and come back to support each one of my elders multiple times a year so that they can continue to live in dignity and by their own design.
Over the years, I've personally hired plumbers from this company and built personal relationships that have been trusting and built on integrity. I like to establish loyalty-oriented relationships with companies, so that there's a history of trust and stability that can be accessed when needed.
But - something's different now with this company. Very different.
Last week, my mother's kitchen faucet started leaking so I purchased a new one that matched the one needing replacement. I called Capital Care Plumbing, per usual, to schedule a replacement appointment.
I was not told how much it would be to simply replace a faucet (that I already had on hand, with all parts supplied), and frankly, I didn't ask for a price over the phone due to the historical relationship.
Cutting to the chase, for a 30 minute faucet replacement, the charge was $313.00. For less than 30 minutes of work. $313.00. Period.
The plumber who came out agreed that it was exorbitantly high, he said there was nothing he could do - it was company policy.
For literally 30 minutes of work.
I had the new faucet ready to go, he was in + out in less than 45minutes, including the very challenging time he had trying to figure out how to run the credit card for payment.
I was stuck + had to use them. My mother is ill and was asleep in the next room, I really had no choice.
If I lived in Houston, I guarantee that I'd have not used them today. I would've found someone else with more reasonable pricing. But alas, I didn't have the luxury of researching for a better option (of which I'm sure there are, and will do so beginning today for future engagement).
If I lived here in Houston, I would NEVER use this company.
I'm certain there are other companies with much higher integrity + concern for their customers, particularly loyal ones.

We have used A-Better Plumbing for about 20 years now. They are, without a doubt, the most honest, efficient, professional, and friendly plumbers around. They have done various jobs for us over the years, most recently replacing our water heater. Roland and his staff, including his office staff, are to be commended for always doing a superb job!

Their office person was good to work with, but they hire out with local plumbers. The guy they sent tried to charge me for 2 hours- he was there less than 1. He said it was based on the time they left the shop. I pointed out he would have to have left the shop 45 minutes before I called them in order to hit 2 hours. He also charged me $30 for parts claiming the ones I bought wouldn't work, but having priced the parts the night before, there's no way they cost more than $10. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Husband called for three days, and left a number of messages after Phillipp Plumbing was recommended to us; he never managed to reach anyone, nor did he ever get a call back from anyone for any of the messages he left.

Beware the, straight-forward pricing. What this can mean is that, despite the job being smaller than anticipated, or taking less time, these guys are NOT willing to adjust the price accordingly. I had a hidden leak that I was given a $2000.00 estimate to fix, without Island Mann Plumbing really knowing the extent of the leak or its origin (wall, slab, etc). The work ended up taking almost half as much time as they had projected, and they were able to replace some old cast iron piping with PVC to fix the leak. Not only were they unwilling to budge on the price, but I even detected some slight contention in my conversation with the contractor when I asked about a reduction. The conversation even ended abruptly without a good-bye...(did he just hand up on me?)
In short, to these guys straight-forward is somewhat the opposite. You don't know how much the supplies cost, and you don't pay by the hour. Why? So you can't argue the value, that's why.
First and last time to use Island Mann.

I had to have my old cement sewer lines replaced. They had converted the garage into a bedroom and bathroom so they had to dig up the main line from the house to the city which ran parallel to my back fence with 2 other lines running into the main line. They worked fast and they passed inspection. All happen in 2 or 3 days. They were nice and friendly especially the father, the master plumber, we engaged in a conversation about our dogs. I have 5 and he had 3 or 4 not sure. He offered to replaced a kinda fence I had put up to block the dogs so the grass could grow. Eli said on several occasions that I could show the invoice has well as the inspection pass sticker from the city. This all happened around the first of this year. Today I have not received an invoice even though I have reached out to the company for one. Their follow through is terrible that is why the 2 stars. A couple of weeks went by and the dirt settled down causing some serious dips where they had dug. So I emailed and called to asked them for more dirt and the replacement fence. I would let the another issues of follow-up go if that would get handle. Keep in mind I had paid slightly over $10,000 dollars. They had moved my newly laid path steps and didn't put them back the way they found them. Here is where he really would get a 0. The guys came put up a nice fence and put dirt where it was needed which was all the lines dug. I wasn't paying close attention until afterwards and I noticed the dirt was sandy and red. No grass just red sandy dirt which has made my life hell. This dirt gets everywhere especially all through my house. I have to clean and dust at least 2 times a week sometimes more. I have paid help to take everything off the shelving through out my house to clean whats in there and to clean the shelving because they become so dusty. I have done this twice since moving into my new/old house. I have had to replace rugs, 1 couch and keep a air purifier running all the time. The filters alone run around $125 I have to replace them 2x a month, $250 a month on trying to keep the dust down. I don't get to walk in my bare feet in my own home unless I want a day at the beach. If I wanted the beach I be in Galveston now not writing this review. For the most part I do not enjoy my new/old little house. So if you use them have everything written down starting with a written bid, clear instructions for finishing the job properly and according to want you want to see happen. Eli is a charmer, he probably a nice man but a charmer anyway and the apple doesn't fall far from the tree when it comes to his son. It has cost probably as much (or getting there) to keep my home clean of fine dirt/dust as it did to make a reason for the red sandy dirt.. I wish I could do it all over. And I wished I hadn't use them!!! NO FOLLOW THROUGH!!! I need to clean again as I write this about my need to constantly clean my new/old home.

Outstanding work. Work was done expediently. Plumber was professional and a pleasure to work with. Price charged was more than reasonable compared to other plumbing companies contacted for same service.

That is right KRAZY plumbing!!! totally KRAZY unprofessional..... I usually don't have the time to write reviews but I feel like I need to take the time to warn other customers. I have more than one week waiting for Mr. Brandon Valenzuela to come and finish what he started. Yeap that is right after $75 for diagnosis, bunch unanswered phone calls and text messages still don't know the status of the fix.
