ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER
I started my career as a plumber in 1994 as a drain cleaner for a large nationally owned company. In 1998, I moved on to a small locally owned and operated plumbing company. I continued with that company for 16 years. I progressed from drain cleaner to a plumber. I was eventually promoted to manage all aspects of the plumbing department that covered Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania.
During my tenure, I noticed many changes in operations as the company grew from a small close knit company into the largest residential plumbing, drain cleaning and HVAC company in the area. Although I enjoyed my time with the larger companies, I always felt deep down that as a company grows to a certain size, a part of the personal touch is missing with the client and the employees. In 2013, I decided to go into business on my own and bring back that personal touch to the trade that I am so passionate about. This is the basis of how Delaware Plumbing Professionals was founded.

Professional and thorough.. They got my leaky foreclosure up and running in a day after 3 years of being dry. Everything leaked so they definitely had their challenges and they were good at helping me only replace the most critical components.
The only downside is I found their pricing to be on the (very) high side. I understand good plumbers are never inexpensive but they are pricey. I've worked with several of their techs and they all know their stuff. The work was flawless!
Installed a water heater, air wasn't bled out of the system throughout the home, by the time I went to use the bath tub upstairs the pipes busted and my living room ceiling is trashed as water leaked to the floor below. Per the description provided by the company of the tasks they would complete (highlighted in pic below), they would purge the air THROUGHOUT the house. This was only done on one sink on main floor. I received way too many excuses from the company. My living room is trashed and they refused to fix the ceiling damage.
Horrendously Overpriced. PREDATORY would be an appropriate term. Called them because disposal stopped working that they had installed in February. Turns out, it was just clogged. The individual unclogged it in 10 min. Was CHARGED $225 for it.
They said for the work was $160 (that was done in 10 minutes and no actual parts were replaced). And still got charged $65.00 bucks for a dispatch fee. STAY AWAY!!!!
We had an emergency with a broken pipe that was attached to our water filtration system. They were able to come out the same day to make a quick fix and then returned the next day with everything they needed to fix the pipes and install a new and much better water filter system. They are very responsive and text photos of the servicemen who are coming to your house. Their customer service is excellent and they are clearly concerned about their consumer.
My husband called after we saw the commercial on television. The woman that we spoke with told him that there is a fee for estimates over $60 whether we use their services or not. That is as far as we got with this company
Delaware Plumbing Professionals tech, Quincere, replaced my bad. approx 15 month, Rheem hot water heater.
He is friendly, knowledgeable, & professional.
His work is very good, puts a rug over the flooring & does s good clean up.
I recommend him & DPP.
I requested quotes through Yelp to have a new dishwasher installed and hardwired. Delaware Plumbing Professionals were one of the first to respond and able to come out the next day. They called in the morning to confirm that they would be coming and they also sent a text message to inform me that their technician was on his way, along with a picture and a bit of background information. I found that very helpful and thoughtful. Their technician arrived on time and was friendly, courteous and professional. When the installation did not go exactly as planned, their Service Manager got involved and made sure that the issue was resolved to my satisfaction. I would hire them again for any future plumbing needs.

We needed a gasline extended to convert from an electric to gas stove. We were able to connect with DPP and they sent the team of Joe and Eddie. They reviewed and inspected the work needed. They gave us the price and outline of the work process. We were thrilled that they could start work immediately and be finished in about (3) hours. They were professional, meticulous and clean in their work. They explained the process and informed us in their progress. I would recommend them to anyone needing plumbing services. Job well done
This business installed a broken water heater and refused to replace even though it was within the warranty period.

480 to clean basement drain. Got other quotes for 150 -300 ~. Kind of expensive.
They did come out quickly, if you can wait call another plumber.
If you can't call them.
On time, incredibly professional and highly skilled. Plumber who did the work was great not a single issue in the entire experience. Replaced kitchen faucet and fixed leak under sink. Checked garbage disposal and other lines.

VERY overpriced! They claim they are better priced/better value than other companies because they give you the price up front (not charge by the hour) and you sign an agreement before they do the work. I was very naive, did not know pricing, so I signed - including for an upsell that they suggested which I didn't really need - and ended up paying $533 for an hour and a half's work (one kitchen sink faucet replaced, faucet provided by me - and two under-sink water valves replaced). When I talked to others in the know, they alerted me to the fact that I had greatly over-payed. I tried reasoning with the service manager after the fact, but he said that because I signed the agreement he's not going to waiver on the fee - other than refunding the $35 dispatch fee. So my recommendation IF you decide to go with this company is to have a knowledge of reasonable pricing for the work you are going to get done. Otherwise you may end up grossly overpaying.
By the way, the front office staff who make appointments etc... are very friendly and efficient. I was hoping the rest of my service experience would be equally good, but sadly not.
We woke up to an issue with a backup and water leaking in our basement and within a few hours of calling Tyler was out and fixed the problem quickly. He was respectful of our home- putting covers on shoes/ cleaning up well- and very knowledgeable and professional. Thanks Tyler!

OMG they are fantastic!!! So my mom and I were having a problem getting out home warranty company to get someone out to fix a leak in my mom's home. I reached out to Delaware Plumbing Professionals and spoke with Nancy and she arranged same day service. Jack came out and was very knowledgeable and friendly. He took time to explain to her and myself what the problem was and fixed it with no problems. They did a fantastic job and definitely a reliable service. We will definitely use them in the future. If you're looking for a reputable plumbing company, definitely choose them, you won't be disappointed!!!!!
Mike was professional and extremely helpful. Fixed everything quickly and answered any and all questions we had. Cannot thank him enough.
Delaware Plumbing sent Bobby out to our home to provide an estimate for installing a waste water pump in our basement for the new bathroom. He did a careful inspection of all the plumbing and venting needs and prepared an estimate for the job. This week he came back with Troy to do the installation with all the necessary parts to do the job. They installed the pump in the sump and sealed it. The sanitary line and vent lines were complicated to install due to tight space and they did a great job. And the best thing was there were no surprises on the bill which was exactly what was quoted. I would recommend Delaware Plumbing to anyone.

Had to have a new kitchen faucet put in today. Called today to see if it could be done and was told they could be here between 12-4pm, they were here by 1:00 which was nice. The service guy that came was very and did the job quickly, clean. Only thing is that it was not cheap to have it installed.
They came in and serviced my hot water heater today & I was very happy with their service. The owner was very thorough in explaining the steps he took to diagnose the problem and educated me about the hot water system and the possible causes for the breakdown. Even though he couldn't fix it today (waiting on a part to arrive), the fact that he explained to me how to install the new part once it arrives (so I could save money) made me feel that he wasn't just trying to make as much money off me as possible. Also, the quote he gave me to do the installation himself was considerably cheaper than the company that gave me a quote on the same job the day before (and the other company left without me knowing the cause of the problem). I am so happy they serviced my heater and I just wished I contacted them first and saved the $50 I spent on the first company.
