Best Businesses in Oregon
They came out to help us because of a crack in our main line, and they simply have the BEST customer service. Right before Easter weekend, and they came to bail us out on a Thursday and Friday! Tracy was so nice with us on the phone, and we could not have asked for better service! The price was very reasonable, and there was ZERO nonsense about: emergency fees, apprentice fees, travel time, etc. (unlike other plumbing service companies in the Portland metro area).

Roger provided prompt response and service. I sent a picture of the shower valve issue and he explained the problem and how it will be fixed with a good estimate and the plumber he sent over is very knowledgeable as well!

I had a really bad clog in my main sewer line. It caused sewage to come up from my bathtub and it would not drain whatsoever. Pacific came out to fix the problem. They had to spend about 2 hours running a cable down the cleanout in our back yard. Thankfully they got the main sewer line cleaned out and were super friendly and professional. My main reason for giving a 3 star review is that after they snaked the cleanout, I brought them inside and asked them about the sewage in the tub. They basically told me to use a plunger on it and replace the trip lever drain stopper and it should be fine. I took out the stopper and I plunged it for nearly an hour and it still wouldn't drain. I called another company to come out the next day and within 15 mins they had the problem fixed. I kind of felt like Pacific left the job half done, which was extremely frustrating. The main line was in need of being cleaned, so I am thankful they did that. But its frustrating to spend over $400 and have them leave without everything working as it should.

Where to begin?
We close today, we called Axiom on Wednesday three weeks ago, they scheduled us for the following Monday. They got here and found that our sewer was a nonconforming sewer line that would need to be replaced. At every step of this project, someone at Axiom explained what they were looking for, why, and what it meant. We were also given the tools to contact the city to verify this was an issue and not Axiom upselling.
Needless to say, this freaked us out, we wanted to close today and the issues with our sewer only delayed the work by a week, that was for permits. What I appreciated most about Axiom's work isn't the work itself, I will never see it really and I trust the sewer will work and I have no idea what to look for, it looked like a pipe and the water leaves the house. What they did is patiently take calls, sometimes multiple calls a day, of us, freaking out because we had like 10 days to close. They acted as and became part of the team selling our house, they worked like it was their house they were trying to close on.
The price was more than fair, the work was quick and quality. We had such a weird series of things working against us: a nonconforming sewer line we didn't know about, they had about 28 inches to work with to dig 11 feet down, a neighbor who is kind but didn't really want their yard disrupted and they made it work and, they even reseeded my crappy lawn where they dug, the yard, the sidewalk and the street all look great and good as new.
I hope I never, ever have to get sewer work done again, ever. If I do, if anyone ever asks for advice about sewer repair, I will only recommend Axiom - they looked out for us, hustled to get the work done to save our closing date and the crew that was here was so kind, professional, and also acted as therapists, cheerleaders and just all-round good people to have do work.
Seriously, if you need work done, this is the company that will work with and for you.

I've hd nothing but positive experiences with Beason plumbing. Hans has been to both my previous and current home a total of 4 times to replace a hot water heater, re-seat and replace a wax ring under a leaking toilet, replace valves for a utility sink and to unclog a kitchen sink water supply.
He's always been timely, responsive and very helpful in considering additional plumbing projects. Thanks Hans!

So great to find an honest and responsible person through yelp! I called Mark and he admitted that he had been working long days and was taking a day off but he was nice enough to help me fix a plumbing leak over the phone. He could've made me wait until tomorrow and charge me $200 but he walked me through the fix by phone in literally five minutes. This guy is honest, knows what is talking about and there's no BS. Highly recommended!!!

Doug was awesome. He actually showed up early & completed the job on time & at the price he quoted. I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Sewer Renewal Specialists did an excellent job repairing the sewer line from our NE Portland home to the street. Part of the line was replaced and the rest was repaired with a liner. The price was good (very competitive), all workers were very professional and did an excellent job. Some additional work was required and they quickly came back out and took care of it.

Big shoutout to Drew at TACC Plumbing LLC for switching the Mocerino house to a tankless water heater! He did the job quickly and seamlessly, and even hauled away the old piece of junk.
Now project laundry room reno can officially begin!
If anyone needs plumbing help, hit up Drew. He rocks!

I must admit that I selfishly debated whether to post this review. When you have a plumbing problem, you don't want to wait, and there seems to be a shortage of plumbers in the Portland area. When we had a blockage and leak in a pipe, I called many plumbers and Portland Plumbing was able to come the fastest. Having to wash my hair in the sink and take showers at other people's houses got old really fast. Dan said he would fit us in as soon as he could, which ended up being about five days. He replaced the pipe in a very small area and managed to do so without cutting any beams or joists. He got the job done in less than two hours. The best part of all was the bill (yes, I'm serious); I have never been charged so little by a plumber. In fact, the total bill was lower than the price I had been quoted by another plumber to simply snake the drain, which was only a temporary solution. This is the first company I will call for future plumbing work. I hope I don't regret posting this review, but I guess it's only fair to share my best recommendations in my list of contractors.

Highly recommend Vitaliy for your plumbing needs! He responded quickly to an emergency callout and saved our house from a potential water disaster. We've had him out several times for various projects and he always does an amazing job at a reasonable price.

Allen helped us fix a clogged bath tub. He went out of his way to suggest options to keep the drain clean and answered questions through texts even after a couple days after the appointment.

Dan was phenomenal. Our house was built on a slab, with no basement or crawl space, so the repipe was quite a challenge as everything had to be routed through the walls and attic. We were prepared for a lot of wall demolition, but Dan was able to find clever ways to cut into the wall behind cabinets and other hidden places that made it barely noticeable. He was also able to get a contractor to bore a new pipe from the water main right into an existing hole in our bedroom closet, so there was no need to dig up the yard, sidewalk or street. Dan was responsive, friendly, flexible, calm, and resourceful, always more than willing to change the project to meet our wants and needs. And the entire project ended up costing about half of what we had been expecting. I would highly recommend Dan/River City Plumbing for any and all of your plumbing needs. He's a joy to work with.

Initially the consult was good and I was optimistic that I'd found a company who could complete my project. I just needed someone to finish the venting for our spa heater. They initially said that it should be no problem to vent this horizontally but I told them per the specifications the vent pipe must be double walled stainless steel. Expensive but I didn't care, I just wanted the job to be done. Michael said he would have to research, fair enough. Additionally I put him in contact with reps from hayward, who are the makers of the heater. I haven't heard back. As with many contractors in Portland they indicated just how busy they were. Please take some advice, stop telling your clients how busy you are, it's not comforting and not a good excuse. If you cant do the job than tell me.
Regardless after ordering many different pieces from ventingpipe.com I was able to finally complete this myself. I suppose I should thank you for encouraging me to learn and do it myself.

I used these folks through Repipe Specialists. Yes, they were quick and courteous, but left behind cigarette butts, grease stains on my carpet, and their sheetrockers left a mess of smudges on cement. They halfheartedly fixed my fencing with wire where they had to remove it to get to my well and left concrete debris in the yard. The lead took a water sample for testing a couple of weeks ago and I still have not received a report. Nor have I heard from Brad about pricing a filtering system. In short, avoid using these folks unless you enjoy getting lame excuses.

I decided to ignore the reviews about lack of cleanliness, and that was a huge mistake. We had the galvanized plumbing replaced with new pipes, which required sheetrock removal. He did not cover or mask anything in the two rooms, resulting in sheetrock dust everywhere. Had we known he would be so careless, we would have masked ourselves-- or hired someone else. We brought up our shop vac to clean up after him. Then the worst part-- he left part of the plumbing open upstairs while turning the water back on, which flooded both offices. We were just outside and when we came in, he told us he had taken care of it by using our shop vac to suck up some of the water. I found water soaked into the rugs, under couches, everything was wet. We started pulling things out of the house to dry them out, he made no effort to help.
When we went to pull down the light fixture to do the drywall repair, it was full of water. Additional water damage was caused to ceiling sheet rock that took about a week to work its way down to the lower floor, might have been trapped in the light fixture.
Overall, I would advise against using them for a large project.

Watch out! They will charge you for their Driving Time no matter what time your appointment is scheduled. My appointment was at 8AM. They sent 2 mechanics and charged me one hour each just for their time to drive to my shop. Whoever has an employer pay for your driving time to get to work, please raise your hand... NONE, I bet!
So, two guys at $85/hour after they already billed me $60 for their Vehicle and Fuel charge: I'm $230 down before the job even started! They worked from 8-9:25AM and told me the total work time was 5.5 hours, does this add up to you?
Then, they offered to take the old window air conditioning unit with them...but did not explain to me that they were actually going to charge even more for that. I thought it was a courtesy of the company, but Nope. It was on my dime... We have a huge dumpster behind our building, which I was planning to use anyway (if only I had known).
The 2 mechanics they sent were good, but I do NOT like how this company treated me. I honestly do not feel they were forthright or fair with me... It makes me wonder if this treatment had to do with me being a Female Minority Small Business Owner. If they talk fast enough, I might not understand what they are up to. Just an FYI to everyone, beware before using this company.
