Best Plumbing Services in Oregon

Curtis came out in the rain to replace our broken outdoor faucet.  He arrived on time, provided fast service and his prices are reasonable.  He really knows his stuff; he's friendly and professional.  Definitely would recommend him and hire him again for our plumbing needs..

I just hired Jacob and his company, Bridge City to take care of my ongoing irrigation service and maintenance needs.  I cannot be more pleased!  This is a great local business. Jacob operates with integrity and his communication is exemplary (other similar businesses in this industry could learn something from him).   So happy to be doing business with the great person and company!

I had a small leak in my water heater. Jared arrived shortly after my call and promptly fixed my leak for a very reasonable price. He even went a step further and added an additional valve as a preventative measure. He was great and I will call them again if I need a plumber.

In the course of having a bathroom remodeled, the contractor called our attention to the condition of the galvanized pipes. Specifically, the insides. They were corroded beyond belief.

Since the house is 49 years old and with no plans to move, it seemed logical that we consider repiping the entire house.

I didn't know who to call but had heard this company's ads, and it seemed like a good place to start.

I made a call and spoke to a rep that was pleasant and informative. We agreed to have another rep come out for a visit. That took a few days, maybe a week.

Kevin, the sales manager, came out. He was prompt, courteous, personable, and on time. He also adequately addressed  my many direct questions and concerns.

Keep in mind that Repipe Specialists is a broker. They find the customer and sell the job (contract), to a plumbing house who does the actual work.

Two important questions I had were why I wouldn't be better off going directly to a plumber, and could I choose who would do the work.

AlthoughI still don't fully understand why, everyone I asked - including my remodeling contractor and the plumber that did the work - told me that going direct would in fact cost me more. That said, I took it at face value and did not consult directly with a plumber. Make of that what you will. All I can figure is Repipe Specialists have an agreement with specific plumbers that ends up costing the customer less.

Don't get me wrong - it's still an expensive proposition.

As to choosing the plumber...Repipe Specialists contract with only a few plumbing houses. When I asked Kevin if I could choose, he said yes, and provided me with about six or seven options. I made my choice based on previous experience and after some additional discussion, he told me that to get the best job possible, he recommended Black Cat Plumbing. After a quick Yelp! and Angie's List search, I agreed.

However, as I always do, I told Kevin I would need to shop the job around. Being a salesman, Kevin offered me a $500 discount if I signed that night. I had to think hard about it but decided to go ahead, despite my best judgement.

Kevin did stipulate that to get the $500 discount, I would need to promise to put up a Yelp! review. I told him I'd be happy to do so, but that I wouldn't lie, good or bad.

And I'm not.

As I recall, my exact words were, Ok, I'm going to take a chance on you and hope I'm not making an expensive mistake.

As it turned out, it was not a mistake. I got a scheduling call from Black Cat about a week later, and It was about a month before they could do it - but that's another review, as is the drywall contractor, PacWest Drywall.

I would advise the following for anybody considering a repipe:

It's expensive

It's invasive

Walls WILL need to be opened up

If you're ok with all of that, I can recommend Repipe Specialists to get the proverbial ball rolling.

I have no regrets and would do it again.

This is a SECOND review in a week....  a problem unrelated to the fix last week. Had everything shut down, a/c on a 90* day, and walked into a very warm house. Called Sky because Bill was great last time.  Left a message with their answering service and got a call back about 20 mins later.  He walked me through a couple of checks and explained how to test inside the furnace - fixed it. No visit, no cost.  That's quality service!

I called them on Sunday (knowing they were closed, but I kept forgetting to call). They got back to me first thing Monday morning, and were here before noon. Roy was our plumber, and he was absolutely professional, friendly, and communicative. The previous homeowners had put tile in the bathroom, and poorly rigged the seal on the toilet with two flanges. Roy got it fixed in no time, and at a lower cost than I had anticipated, which was awesome. I would recommend this company to anyone.

He did an excellent job removing an old sink, garbage disposal and faucet replacing with new product. Fair price, prompt service and great job. Will hire again if needed.

Nathaniel replied promptly to my online inquiry about replacing a circulation pump.  He talked me through the options and scheduled me within 10 days of our call, then emailed an estimate in advance, including a photo and price for the pump.  He was personable, punctual, and worked efficiently.  I will definitely contact him for future plumbing services!

Our kitchen sink faucet began leaking from multiple places which set off the water alarm in the sink base cabinet. Sean helped give us information on possible causes. He communicated fast and well with an estimate provided from pictures. The pricing was competitive and reasonable. The job is complete and our new faucet look and works great! Thanks!

We woke up on Sunday morning to a leaking water heater. We contacted a couple of people and John was the first to respond. Not only this but his price was a bit more reasonable than the other person who eventually responded. We are so thankful that we found John. He quickly fit us in on the same day, and installed a new water heater. If I could do it all over again I would not change a thing. John is honest and friendly and reliable and had all the tools to install a perfect new heater. Thank you, John!

Let me explain why i gave this a 2 stars...I had an issue with my washer not draining properly and backing up.  Jeremy the tech showed up very professional and diagnosed the problem right away.  I had all faith that he knew what it took to fix the problem.  After flushing the lines and clearing the problem he was on his way.  I did a few loads of laundry and everything  was going great!  Then that night I went to get in the shower and my bathtub immediately was backing up.  It was working fine that morning before he showed up to fix the other issue.  So he fixed one problem and created another.  I called the next morning to let Mr. Rooter know of the issue and they had no problem sending Jeremy back out to check on the new problem. Jeremy told me immediately that is just a coincidence and timing of the clog.  That what he did the day before had nothing to do with it. But for 300 more dollars he can fix my tub issue.  This is after it already cost me 519 dollars for my other issue. I let Jeremy know I would not be using his service. I would fix it on my own.  I fixed the issue with a bottle of Draino for less then 15 dollars.  Again no reflection on Jeremy but I suggest Jeremy you get a new job. Jeremy am sure your hands are tied when you came back out to fix the issue to charge me again.  But Mr. Rooter you certainly missed a excellent opportunity for excellent Customer service.  I would recommended Jeremy but not the company he works for.  Then to boot I got a call that evening from Brooke who wanted to know if I still needed their service.  Seriously! that call put me over the edge...Still looking for my money!  Your company was recommended to me by my realtor friends.  They will hear about his and I would not recommend this company.  Sorry Jeremy...you were great!  But your company should honestly take some of my money and invest in Customer service training. As I was typing this I got another message from Zoe this time saying Jeremy wrote up an estimate and did I still need his service......these guys are unbelievable

Terry and a young man (his son?) arrived promptly and did a terrific job repairing a burst pipe leading to the outdoor faucet. When I had a small leak at the faucet site the next day, they returned quickly, diagnosed the problem as the hose I'd attached, not their work, put a washer in the hose, and fixed the leak. They could not have been nicer about the second visit for a problem that was not of their making. They are the best. Will use them again and again.

Sean did a fantastic job repairing/replacing a bathtub drain on the second floor. A true pro! He was able to complete the repair in a tight space and quickly.  This was a complicated repair where the pipe was located in the ceiling and in an area difficult to access.

If you are looking for a truly professional repair, this is who you should call.

Travis serviced us today. He was prompt and worked very fast. Installed a new under-sink garbage disposal which worked perfectly, and additionally replaced some of the old bendy pipes under the sink with straight ones. It drains much better now. It was 200 even for parts and labor, but he didn't break down the price any further than that. It seems reasonable enough? I don't know the average price for garbage disposal replacement.

I received a response shortly after I left a message. I described the issue, and he gave me an estimate on when he could be there and the amount of time it would take. It was not an emergency, so when he said he could be there the next day, I was still pleased. Later in the day, he contacted me and asked if he could drop by and take a look at my situation. I said sure and he was there when he said he would be. He wasn't going to be able to work on it, but, he thought that if he looked at the situation, he could show up prepared. I really appreciate his attention to detail and commitment to providing good service. He showed up the next day with all the parts and tools he needed. His work was clean and efficient. I would definitely ask him to work on other repairs.

Made an appointment with Rob to inspect possible pipe leak behind bathroom wall and fix outside water spiked. He never showed up or returned my call on the day of appointment when he did not show up. I should have read these reviews ahead of time cause the lack of communication seems to be an issue with this company.

We were displaced due to the fires and are in our RV parked at an emergency station.
Just prior to the fires our truck was taken in to the shop. We have no way to tow our RV to a dump station so their service of emptying is amazing.
My wife is handicap and on oxygen 24/7 as well as other issues its vital to have water and bathroom.

Bad! They replaced a kitchen faucet, but left in the old connecting flexible hose (they hooked up new hose to the old hose!). From the beginning it wiggled all around and leaked. Very poor quality.  Ended up calling another plumber, Sutherland Plumbing, who fixed up Rayborn Plumbing's screwups.

Someone else explained to me that some plumbers, such as Rayborns, deals mostly with the new housing trade on a mass install basis and are not experienced plumbers you want fixing old work plumbing.

I live in an older house, but the plumbing was all redone a few years ago with new PEX piping. Also the leak was between the faucet and connecting hose--both new parts in a kit that Rayborn Plumbing connected. Having an older home had nothing to do with it (as alluded to in another review).

Also it required several callbacks to get service and to order the faucet, as they did not callback after waiting several days. Once we did contact them, they forgot about us and didn't really know what they were doing--simple things such as ordering the kitchen faucet.
