American Leak Detection Plumbing Service
Discovered water damage in our bedroom on the bathroom wall. They came out in October 2014 did not find the source of the damage. We paid $295 for no answers. The suggestions were if the carpet gets wet again to reseal the grout lines and wall and floor. We had a tile contractor come out and demo and redid the pan and tile floor and resealed all the grout lines, walls and floor. This last weekend we discovered the carpet wet again after using the shower for a month. I called American Leak Detection and was told they would send the tech out again but couldn't tell me if we would have to pay the continuation fee of $140 something an hour. The person I talked to told me she could talk to her office manager but that she would say the same thing and since its been more than 30 days they were doing more than they normally would. I would not recommend this company.

Sky Heating, AC, Plumbing & Electrical Plumbing Service
Our furnace stopped working late on a winter evening. I called several HVAC repair places but only found one that would answer the phone after 8 pm. Sky answered my call with a human and sent out a technician the next morning. Spencer, our technician was very knowledgeable, communicative, and respectful of our home. He answered every question I had with a helpful attitude. We highly recommend Sky for HVAC maintenance and repairs.

Green Leaf Irrigation & Landscape Plumbing Service
I would like to give this company a 5 star recommendation, but also a 1 star recommendation.

Here's the 5 star:

We needed the south side of our yard re-graded so rain would flow away from the house. They did an excellent job at a reasonable price!! I truly appreciate that they were willing to do this size of job without trying to convince me to do a huge landscape project. The guys who did the work were great. The work was scheduled and done in a very timely manner. I will definitely use them again this spring when I need more work done. So in regards to the actual work done 5 Stars!!

Here's the one star:

I got an email saying they would call me at the beginning of the week. That time passed with no phone call, and I had to call them. The response after that was great! Work scheduled and done on time. But the contractor was supposed to come over on the afternoon of the day the work was done, or maybe the day after, and he never showed up.  So I waited around a lot. The next day I put the invoice and check in the mail, and sent them an email. I later got a call from the office, asking if the contractor had shown up. I said No. but that it was ok, because I was happy with the work.  I then immediately got a call from the contractor, who quickly came by, reviewed the work. etc. So I did get responses, just not in the times that were set up.

The bottom line is that there seems to be some kind of disconnect between the contractors and dispatchers and their whole communication system.  I really really hope they figure it out.  I liked them a lot. My yard looks great.

Columbia River Plumbing & Drain Services Plumbing Service
It's Sunday, Superbowl Sunday, and I turned on my outside facet to use my hose when I noticed water leaking from beneath my house's siding and on top of that, water began seeping out from beneath my dishwasher.  I looked for a 24 hour plumbing company online and found Columbia River Plumbing and Drain Services and gave them a call.  Within a half hour later, Patrick stopped by and assessed the leaking.  He knew exactly what to do and got right to work.  Not only did he fix the leaking, but replaced the busted spigot pipe quickly and efficiently and at a very reasonable price for an emergency off-hour job.  I strongly recommend giving them a call for any plumbing concern.  Patrick and Columbia River Plumbing and Drain Service is my new go-to for my plumbing needs.  Strongly recommend!

Cornel's Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning Plumbing Service
This is a ripoff plumbing company. If you have money lying around and don't know what to do then hire this company. They charged $350 to just unclog a bathroom sink. I was told it will take 1hr to complete the task but he finished it in 20 minutes. Stay away from this company.

Northwest Plumbing & Backflow Plumbing Service
I have known Shawn (the owner/plumber) for years. He has worked in with a couple of restaurants that I manage and can normally get to them within two days. We communicate easily via text. No fuss.

He also just worked on my home where I needed a new hose for toilet that another plumbing company (two others never responded) was going to charge at least $300 to fix tomorrow. His cost? $75

Northwest Plumbing and Backflow is the best plumber in Portland, hands down!

Smitty's Sewer Service Plumbing Service
We needed a few small plumbing repairs around our home: replacement of a flapper in a toilet and alignment of two faucets that had become loose. It was easy to schedule with Mario by email, he communicated clearly about his ETA, he was masked foe COVID and left his boots outside. The repairs were performed promptly and we'll definitely use Smitty's again next time we need plumbing help. Thanks Mario!

Pipe Systems Plumbing Plumbing Service
Okay, I've hired Pipe Systems for three separate jobs at my home, including repairing an under-floor cast iron drain pipe, an exterior hose bib replacement and a sink faucet replacement. All three jobs were done professionally and quickly. When I called about the kitchen sink faucet, one of Jared's assistants was here within the hour. Can't ask for better service than that. When a company treats your minor maintenance chore like it's a major emergency, it means that they are customer oriented.

Clog Pro Plumbing & Drain Plumbing Service
I called ClogPro to come out and look at my overflowing toilet. I was charged 175 just to take off the toilet (at the time I didn't know I was getting ripped off, I'm not a plumber) and 300 to snake the toilet. After a week it overflowed again so I called them to come back. My appointment was from 10am to 12pm so I waited around all day without a working bathroom just for him to show up at 3pm and say he didn't know what was wrong and that he would need to come back the next day with a camera. At that point I was fed up and I called another plumber who was here right on time and told me my septic tank was full. I called around and every plumber I talk to says they overcharged me....by a lot. They just charge what they can get away with.

Flow-Rite Plumbing Plumbing Service
I used Dean and Flow-Rite to cap off a natural gas line in my home. Though it wasn't a big job, Dean treated it as if it was. He was very professional, prompt, and very easy to work with. He has knowledge and experience, something you want a plumber to have! He charges fair prices and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone who is looking for plumbing services -- you will not be disappointed!
