Have been using Gateway for at least 10 years. They are always reliable, on time, diagnose the problem right away, provide estimates and get the work done. All technicians have been great over the years but recently we've had a problem and the technician they sent out was awesome! Strato has been amazing to work with. He's identified the problem, given solutions and opinions on what to do and has come out multiple times to address the problem and help us out.

I dont need a plumber every day... but when I do, Guarini is the only one I would use or recommend.  These guys are great.  Today I had banging noises in my furnace, I called them, they were there before their estimate, took care of the situation, and were out in a little over an hour.  Chris was great, he explained what he was planning to do and what he thought the problem was, and sure enough, fixed it right away.  
I have only great words and recommendations for this Plumbing and heating company.... I have used them on an off for over 18 years.  They are the best you can get in Jersey City!

Just brought a water tank from. The customer services there was awesome. The manager helped me the whole way and even gave me a discount.

Paul worked on certifying the plumbing for my house in NYC when I was trying to get my 2nd fl bathroom legalized. He is a straight forward guy and honest. He explained what my different options were and what it would cost. If there was something he wasn't sure about he was honest about it.
Even though it took a long time to get the bathroom signed off on by the Dept of Blds(because of bureaucratic nonsense), Paul was always prompt with taking care of things at his end. His work is good and he was responsive to emails and phone calls which is something you don't always get. I would recommend him any day.

Our pipes got frozen from the two consecutive sub 20 degree days. Tried every troubleshooting method before calling for back up. Mike was able to come by.. look it over. Prescribe a few things. Then he returned and noticed minimal change so he went to work. He did not give up and eventually found the issue. Using innovative techniques he got it going. Will have water and heat tonight! Thanks fenix!

I was not able to reach them for a few days either through the website or through the phone. They did not call back either.

I called Allstate Mechanical to get pricing for the installation of a new hot water heater.  The pricing was in line with other companies who are fully licensed and insured.  Got some ridiculously cheap quotes from handyman companies and other plumbing contractors who most likely send unlicensed plumbers to do the actual installation.  I decided to go legit on this because of previous issues with unlicensed contractors.  My homeowner insurance policy won't cover a claim unless all mechanical (plumbing and electrical) work is physically done by someone with a license).  No surprises here.  Job was done professionally, neatly and on time!  The Owner actually did the installation himself! Would definitely recommend and will use this company again!

I had Alive Plumbing come out to fix my plumbing and they were fabulous. They are so friendly and nice and when they work they keep their area clean, which I love. They do such fantastic work that I will always call them to come and fix any plumbing problems that I have.

Unless your issue is urgent it may be a wait to get a visit from Jimmy.  He always pulls through when in need and never has to come back to take another look. One visit and your problem is fixed. Thank you!!

They are fast and responsive with fair pricing.  We had a leaky boiler and they were able to come out that day and fix the issue. If you price check them with 10 plumbers, I am sure you can get cheaper but you get what you pay for.  I have used them twice and will use them again.

I just had Mike from MD plumbing install two new spigots in my house. Great job, nice clean install, everything works great. Fair prices, and he's a nice guy from the area. If I need plumbing work in the future he's the guy I'll be calling.

Had a pipe break. Called John and he called back asap. Arrived at the time he said he would and did a great job helping me out. I would def call him back. Very nice guy.

I needed a new water heater after sandy and Bill came over to install it. Professional, neat work and I've never had a problem with it since, he did the job right. Some plumbers in the past have done poor work that starts to leak months later, but I've never had s problem with bill and will continue to recommend him to friends and family

He has done a bunch of work in my house and is reasonable priced and responsive! Happy with ASAP plumbing.

This company seemed like they were good and very pleasent on the phone but then after coming a day later than expected the plumber lied about the time he spent at my house and totally ripped me off. I should have made them write it down when arriving and leaving but instead I stupidly trusted them. I also don't believe that they didn't go for lunch for an hour while getting the part. I will never use them again!
