Best Plumbing Services in Indianapolis, IN

We live in Monticello, Indiana and had our AC unit replaced last week. Jarmy Johnson was a complete professional replacing our AC unit! Absolute Comfort was one of four contractors we received quotes from. Jarmy came out to do our estimate. He was extremely knowledgeable, honest and friendly. During the replacement, Jarmy and Jason were wonderful! Even when they encountered unforeseen issues during the installation, they were able to troubleshoot and quickly solved the problem and still came in at their original quoted price.

I found out while doing a bathroom remodel that I had a sewer leak in my crawl space. First impressions mean a lot and I got a call from Pristine literally within 2 minutes of sending them an email requesting an estimate. Evert came out to take a look and recommended a total repiping of the house due to its 66 year old age. Derrick and Nathan came out the following week and earned their pay that day, as it was quite the mess down there. The estimate I received was very good, based on a family member who's a local journeyman plumber with Local 440. Could not have asked for better service from Pristine. Will definitely use them in the future for any plumbing needs.

Sam with May Plumbing did a fabulous job installing a new outside faucet for me today.  They were able to give me a very reasonable quote and even do the install the very same day!  Extremely efficient and obviously skilled and experienced. I will absolutely call them again!!

This is the cleanest plumbing company I have ever used. They came the same day to repair my toilet and water jetted out a clogged sink drain. Great price great customer service and all around great company to work with. I will never call anyone else.

I wish I had a better experience with Service Plus to review, however, it's rather unfortunate and am still left confused. For a sink repair and pipe replacement, I was quoted over $2600 but not given an actual, hard dollar amount at any point when inquiring multiple times how we arrived at $2600. I also gathered additional estimates, and others were nowhere near the $2600. When pressing further with Service Plus, I was given percentages as to how the costs were broken down but never received a quote that was itemized, even knowing this is a quote and not necessarily the bottom line to pay until work is finished. I was told that the manager I needed to speak with was in morning meetings and would contact me, however as of late this afternoon I still have not received a call. That said, I'm opting to go with another plumber, and would absolutely not recommend Service Plus and shady business practices.

Edit 4/26 for follow-up: I have attempted to contact the office twice before the business owner commented, to no avail or return call. I have since had another plumber come to the house TO FIX their miss. The drains only needed cleaning, and that was never suggested first. $450 later, instead of over $2600+, I had to repair what they hacked off first before I even authorized the work to be done. Unfortunately, no one has since contacted still, two days later after trying twice.

Hired to free a drain.  Two guys came out...both nice and professional.  However, they were unable to unclog the drain....after paying nearly $200!  I spoke with the company owner who refused even a partial refund!!!!   I had used them successfully 3x before......Will not use again!!!!

They came out to unclog a main drain, but were unsuccessful.  Said they needed to use their bigger machine but couldn't do it that day.  We rescheduled.  When they didn't show during estimated window of time, I contacted them.  Denise said I was next.  An hour later I called again, Denise said they weren't going to make it but could come out next week.  Instead I found someone who worked on the weekends.  But they only had a 100' ft cable and were also unsuccessful.  So I called Curt & Jerry back and scheduled a new appointment, and told Denise the only time I wasn't available was between 2:15 and 3:15.  That's around the time serviceman contacted me that he was headed over.  When I said I wasn't available, he asked if my tenant was.  I told him I'd check and call him right back.   I reached my tenant immediately and it turns out he was available.  But when I called back, service person was already headed to another job and would not reconsider, but said I'd be next.  I checked in around 3:30 and Denise said I was next.  When I asked if she could check to make sure they were going to make it that day, she said she couldn't bother them.  I called back at 4:30 and Denise had already left for the day and no one ever showed or called.  Lousy customer service.  Too bad because I'd used Curt and Jerry's in the past and they had done good work.  But communication and follow through matter, especially when you're dealing with sewer water backing up in the basement.

They fixed my toilet shutoff but I thought $351 was an extremely high cost for it, and supposedly they did not charge for the trip charge. It took him 30min to replace the valve

I looked on the Mr Plumber website and saw that they do a $93 drain cleaning that says they will unclog any drain for $93 or it's free.  When I called, I confirmed that all we had was a drain cleaning and the lady I talked with said that it would be $94 plus any needed repairs.

The technician was a really nice guy, and they didn't end up doing the work or charging us anything, but I feel like it's incredibly dishonest writing all over their website and advertisements that it's a flat fee for clogs, and then showing up and saying that that only applies to residential buildings, and that the clog IS a repair not covered under the flat fee.  They wanted to charge us $94 to come out, $350 to unclog the drain, and $200 to unbolt and lift up the toilet.

I completely understand that they want to advertise things that get your attention, but not clearly stating the costs just feels incredibly unscrupulous and deceitful to me.  Again, I'm thankful that they didn't end up charging us charging us for coming out, but this makes me incredibly wary of them as a company.

I had Heffner Plumbing come out to install two no charge warranty parts on my water heater. They were at my house for 1 1/2 hours and I was charged $425 dollars. I was charged $170 dollars for him to fill out a form for the warranty parts.  I think this was excessive.

Do not call this plumber!  I was forced to call him through my warranty service, but now realize that I would prefer not to even have the warranty plan if they ask me to use companies like Ameri-Plumb.

The owner of this company is Jon and he should strongly consider a career change immediately.
