Best Plumbing Services in Indianapolis, IN
Called Paul Henderson Plumbing after reading positive reviews on Neighborhood app. Eric came out and diagnosed problem. The office helped to get parts from German company (which isn't always easy). Found out the parts were under warranty and they were shipped directly to our house. Rate for services was very fair. Both plumber and office staff were extremely professional and cordial. Would highly recommend!

We discovered a sudden leak, within the basement, during late evening hours ... we'll just say we were lucky to have found it before total destruction of the basement occurred. As we had no idea who to call, we called one of our best friends, in Arcadia, and he immediately said, Call Brian Hunter! Then, he gave us Brian's phone number. Within 15 minutes, Brian and an assistant arrived. They traced where the leak was coming from. After removal of toilet in laundry room, just above the basement pipe/leak, cleaning out, then fully repairing all of the pipes connected to this, the leak stopped.
A week later, we suddenly discovered another leak. This time, it was down a bit from the earlier leak. Brian once again arrived in about 15 minutes, and quickly discovered this particular leak was due to a broken sewer pipe, outdoors. As he does not do outdoor sewer repair, he referred us to a phenomenal person/company, who did all the repair for that issue.
In the Spring, we will be doing some updates within our home for the plumbing. Hunter Plumbing will be the company called/hired to do the work. We HIGHLY recommend Hunter Plumbing!!!

Techs were very good -saw the problem and fixed it in a reasonable amount of time. Pricing seemed fair. I would call them for future problems!

We have used Mishler's a couple times and they have been great both times. Employees are very professional and clean and the rates are very reasonable. Great to be able to use a company you can trust.

Firstly, the person that answered the phone the first time I called to ask questions and make an appointment was very polite and professional. She was able to get me scheduled and on the day of the appointment to have my water heater looked at, she kept me updated on how long the plumbing crew would arrive. The crew were very professional and explained everything they had to do. They even called me an hour after they were finished to make sure my water was hot again. Really appreciate them will be using this company for all my plumbing needs in future.

Grant Teague is a fabulous service providerHe repaired our furnace perfectly & took the time & consideration to explain everything to us. CS offers a deal wherein they check the furnace before winter & the air conditioner before summer for a good price & if the customer needs service after-hours, the cost per hour is greatly reduce. Needless to say, we took advantage of this dealI'm pretty sure all their repair technicians are excellent, but we can't say enough about GrantMargot&Dave Diersen

They went to the wrong address and then texted us saying the technician left since we didn't answer the door and would have to reschedule. Well that would make sense that I didn't answer a door at a house I do not live. They did not answer when I called and texted them to say we were home, so they must be at the wrong address. The rep later called to say it is not their policy to call when the tech arrives as they give a 30 minute notice when the tech is on their way, of which I did receive and replied to. Common sense would say, it is odd when the homeowner doesn't answer their door after they just confirmed via text. We will not use this company. And based upon the company's response to another negative review, they do not hold themselves accountable at all.

DO NOT USE. Gave a window between 5:30-7:30, showed up at 9:30pm. Gave a $350 estimate, found a local handyman to fix it for $50. Felt very uncomfortable with the technician and dispatchers that called to schedule it. Would never use again, very disappointing service.

We needed to have our (very old) sewer line replaced. We'd received a quote from another company but wanted to bid out such a large project. Carlisle was less expensive and did a very good job. They gave us multiple options and quotes as well as their recommendations on how to proceed. The sewer was a tight squeeze between houses, trees, and our gas line. They dug it up and replaced it, as well as some additional plumbing inside to reroute a pipe without any incidents. They were very good at explaining to me what they were doing and were courteous and professional when asking me to run water to test the line. I would recommend them for future plumbing projects.

Installers threw on umarked breakers that were not feeding the furnace and nearly caused electrical injury. Installers didn't know an electrical circuit and I had to troubleshoot circuit for them. Installers did not seal furnace - was losing alot of air and heat into garage. Installers wired the A/C with the furnace so everytime furnace kicked on (in below zero weather) the A/C kicked on. Installers agreed before performing work that company would bill us and then we could pay. Owner (Chad Christian) then threatened to rip out new furnace if didn't pay on the spot. Owner then also rudely dismissed every complaint that furnace was not heating house (when it was wired wrong). Took 36 hours and alot of dealing with attitude from owner to get that fixed. Lastly, because it has taken 7 days (which includes weekend and holiday) to pay the invoice, owner calls and rudely berates me for not paying yet while at the same time berating me for responding with all this same feedback to a feedback request email they sent me.

Glad the rep from BFP was able to come out same day. Very disappointed they don't give estimates and disappointed that the bill was almost $400 for repairing a PVC that had broken in two separate pieces. I understand there was around two feet of plywood cutting to reach the other end of the PVC but I'm still floored at the basic price. I was not there at the time, but when I talked to the technician on the phone to go over the bill he asked for my credit card. I told him I was next in line for a purchase and could I call him back. His response was if you don't call back in 10 minutes I'm adding another $89 to your bill. Time is money but that was unnecessary. I also did not like the fact that there was no breakdown of what I spent as far as parts and labor. The rep said there was a two year warranty, but that should be up to the customer especially if it dictates a price increase. So in a nutshell the price and customer service definitely could have been better. Recommend shopping around and getting a quote.

Technician inspected our hot water tank and advised that we needed a new burner unit. Said it would be a couple hundred bucks, or could replace the tank for 1600. While the tank is ten years old, the bladder, and tank in general is in good condition, so we opted for the burner. Tech returned a hour or so later, replaced the burner unit, and left me with a bill for $609.46. When I asked about the couple hundred buck quote he said, that hourly rate will get you. Told me that I should call the office as he had no control over the bill.
I called and left a message for the owner, Jerry Gordon - he did not return the call. I sent an email to Jerry - he did not respond. I detailed this issue on the customer service survey that followed in the mail - no response. The burner element went out yesterday. I called their office today and said that the tank would need to be replaced - the burner has no warranty. I phoned two other plumbers, and while they agree that I needed a new tank, $600 for a element install is a rip off.

A plumber from McNeely entered my home because Airtron was working there replacing the AC unit and they stupidly thought that that no one needed permission!? I had an errand to run. Airtron had my cell #!!
There was a leak that wasn't an emergency in another condo unit. The fluidmaster in the toilet and the water shut off valve was replaced in my unit WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!!! Apparently or allegedly, my toilet was running and I've never heard it. (Neither did the plumber until he removed the toilet tank cover.) I hear it now, it runs after each flush, AFTER the unauthorized visit. Upon arrival home from the errand I had to run, the toilet didn't flush after I used it. As I'm washing my hands, my cell phone rings. It's a plumber with McNeely plumbing who informs me that he'd been in my unit and had replaced the shut off valve to the toilet and the fluidmaster inside the toilet tank as the toilet was running. He had my phone number, but couldn't call before any of this occurred? ***NEWSFLASH, the toilet now runs after each flush and I can hear it, where I couldn't before.*** How interesting. All of this is UNACCEPTABLE!!! He told me that the Airtron techs allowed him entry into my unit. I let him know that he did not have my permission to be in my unit. I would have told him to wait until I arrived home, had he called beforehand. It gets better.. you can't make this up!
On Saturday, I pulled back the shower curtain to turn on the shower. The tub was dirty, where it had been cleaned on Friday morning at 9:30 when I last showered with normal water pressure! I also managed to step on a clear, sharp, plastic piece of the broken, plastic shut-off valve that had broken and had been replaced. This and drew blood from the bottom of my foot and a few choice words. How that landed in the tub is beyond me. I became very angry all over again.
I cleaned the tub AGAIN with about 1/3 of the normal water pressure. It took 8 minutes for my usual 2 minute, lukewarm shower. I called McNeely plumbing AGAIN and talked to the on-call plumber, Christian. I explained that another plumber had gained entrance into my unit the day before WITHOUT MY PERMISSION and had made unauthorized repairs, but that NOW I had an audible sound of running water when I flushed the toilet, a dirty bath tub, water pressure about 1/3 lower than what I had on Friday morning and had a foot injury due to stepping on a sharp piece of plastic that had landed in the tub. He replied he was the on-call plumber and would call me back later when he could find out what was going on.
Christian did call back a few hours later and told me that Evan had been the plumber who had done the unauthorized (and incomplete) repairs. I told him that someone needed to come out immediately and fix the water pressure and the running toilet that I DID NOT AUTHORIZE OR HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF. Christian's response was that it was a holiday weekend, he was only the on-call plumber and if he couldn't find that they'd done something wrong, I'd be charged. My response was B******T, I HAD NORMAL WATER PRESSURE UNTIL YOUR COMPANY ENTERED WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION AND MADE INCOMPLETE AND ANAUTHORIZED REPAIRS! I'M NOT PAYING FOR ANYTHING! Christian ended the call. Admittedly, I was very angry.
I have two different stories of how McNeely plumbing gained access and an incomplete picture on Friday as to what had been done. Now on Saturday, I had a foot injury due to a sharp piece of clear plastic that was left in the tub and NEW, problematic toilet and shower issues.
On the 7th, McNeely visited again by appointment due to my travel schedule. The toilet running was fixed. The shower pressure magically corrected itself the week after all of this occurred.

Larry Plumbing did some work in my house about a year ago, He was found by the contractor I hired back then and never had to deal with him personaly. Recently, I had a situation where my basement flooded due to a clogged outside drainage, although it took us some time to find, my first person to reach was Larry... here's where it gets fun, he picks up the phone and tells me that he has no interest to help out due to a bad past experience with the contractor I had when I was remodeling the house .. he then tells me to find someone else to fix my problems! This level of unprofessional customer dealing leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth and thought I would share so no one has to deal with this kind of issues in the future. I don't have anything negative to say about his job which has held fine, but definitely on his customer treatment and more on emergencies such as the one I just went through.

He was the only plumber who come come within 4 hours for a leak in my garage. I should have waited. He did find the leak in an outside faucet and repair it. He then takes me into cutting a vent in my furnace stack to heat my garage, then drive to a hardware store 5 minutes away to buy a vent. He was gone almost 2 hours. When he came back he looked at another leaking outdoor faucet and told me it was not urgent, and that he wasn't available again for 3 weeks. He charged me almost $800, most of that labor for time he wasn't even at my home. I called someone else a few weeks later. The second leak caused a mold problem that had to be remediated, and the furnace vent is not to code and has to be removed. By the way, the faucet he did repair no longer works. What a crook!
