Best Plumbing Services in Indianapolis, IN
This is the second time I have reviewed Paul Henderson Plumbing. Recently they replaced a garbage disposal. After looking at the bill and researching I found that they charged me twice what the disposal cost at all the local hardware stores. I complained but they said it was because the local stores get a better deal than they do. Why wouldnt they go to lowes? BI asked to have the owner call me to discuss this and I haven't heard a word. I am very concerned that they are overcharging customers. And disappointed in Paul Henderson Plumbing.

Outstanding Plumber! We are new to Brownsburg and a coworker recommended Cornwell's. Their pricing is very fair, scheduling was easy, and the work was top notch!
We needed an expansion tank installed on our hot water heater and the first plumber we called, quoted us an absurd amount. We called Cornwell's; the price was good and what we expected. The technician that came out was helpful and knowledgeable. He told us some things we should consider doing in the future but did not try to oversell us on anything.
I wish I found Cornwell's the first day we moved to Brownsburg. They will be the only plumber we call from now on.

I had learned of this company through the real estate company where I work. We have several offices and whenever there's a plumbing problem where I work from I noticed it was Mishler who came to the rescue. The company is known for doing business with qualified people...but at competitive prices. So when a leak in my bathroom sink occurred, I decided to give them a personal try and was very pleased. Nice plumber, right on time, and great job. Then just recently I had a very different and more complex problem so I called them again. Same experience - different very personal plumber, good neat work, and fair price...hence this review. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

We have a clogged sewer vent stack which has already been diagnosed and only needs repaired. The plumber showed up on site and said there's no issue with the vent stack but there is soap scum, You just need to take care of your stuff. He was there for the service call fee and nothing more. He never intended to do any work. I cannot recommend such an unscrupulous business.

Friendly, fast. They were flexible with meeting up with me, and explained things well. Great customer service, which is often a lost art these days.

Very Professional! Great Work! Use them often...if your looking for a good reliable Plumber or HVAC (they do this too!)...I highly recommend and they won't make you take out a 2nd Mortgage to get your work completed!

They went to the wrong address and then texted us saying the technician left since we didn't answer the door and would have to reschedule. Well that would make sense that I didn't answer a door at a house I do not live. They did not answer when I called and texted them to say we were home, so they must be at the wrong address. The rep later called to say it is not their policy to call when the tech arrives as they give a 30 minute notice when the tech is on their way, of which I did receive and replied to. Common sense would say, it is odd when the homeowner doesn't answer their door after they just confirmed via text. We will not use this company. And based upon the company's response to another negative review, they do not hold themselves accountable at all.

Another good experience! (Well as good as can be when you have to replace your water heater) Last Thursday I had a cold water crisis in that there was no hot water. The lady fielding calls was professional and prompt. She didn't over promise, but she worked magic to get a plumber out sooner rather than later. I received a text and email letting me know who to expect and that they were on their way. Scott, the plumber, was very friendly, straightforward and reassuring. He called to let me know he was 10 min out. Then spent the day trying to repair before helping me find a cost effective solution to replace. Overall I'd trust and call then again- without hesitation.

Roto Rooter did wonderful work. They were the cheapest option out of three competing plumbing companies, and they got the job done quicker than the others said they could do it as well. Bill and Michael and his guys replaced our whole main sewer line in less than two days, and we are satisfied with their work.

We needed to have our (very old) sewer line replaced. We'd received a quote from another company but wanted to bid out such a large project. Carlisle was less expensive and did a very good job. They gave us multiple options and quotes as well as their recommendations on how to proceed. The sewer was a tight squeeze between houses, trees, and our gas line. They dug it up and replaced it, as well as some additional plumbing inside to reroute a pipe without any incidents. They were very good at explaining to me what they were doing and were courteous and professional when asking me to run water to test the line. I would recommend them for future plumbing projects.

Came out quickly but discrepancies in what was invoiced (a week later and only after requested it) and cash that was paid out at multiple times a certain repairman returned.

Great team! The receptionists were very informative about pricing and quick to get me scheduled. Mike O. my plumber was communicative, friendly and efficient! He made it to my home within 3 hours of making the call (no time estimate available) and spent only about 45min on site to clear my main line. The pricing was competitive too. I will call again in the future if needed!

Indy Renovation did an amazing job! We love our new master bathroom! It's like a Spa in our own home! The 2 men who did all the work ensured we were happy each and every day! They were so talented and neat/clean!

In the process of selling my home, it was discovered that a pipe that was installed before we bought our house, ran underneath my neighbors driveway and would require excavation to correct. While disappointed that we would be responsible for repairing the neighbors property we agreed to cover the repair as this situation is not my neighbors fault.
During the inspection, the pipe was approximated as to where it was located, but could not be verified at the time, due to my neighbors car causing interference with the equipment used to identify the exact spot of the line.
Days later, the crew arrived to begin work, and this is where we ran into problems. While I was quoted one size (which was roughly 5x10 feet ) for the section (they believed) was the location of the pipe, they guessed incorrectly.
They dug down approximately 7 feet and couldn't find the pipe, and it turns out they dug in the wrong spot. The hole went from 4x8 and ended up being closer to 11x11.
I let the crew finish the job, and when contacted about settling the balance, I expressed some disappointment that the crew didn't verify the pipe location before digging as the scope of the repairs has now increased because of their mistake. As the saying goes, measure twice, cut once, at this point, the call was handed off to Mike (Terry?), who basically got on the phone and badgered me for saying I had agreed to pay for the work when the job was done (which I had), and that his crew didn't have a camera to verify the actual line placement on the day of the work ( so, apparently that's my fault). The disrespectful way in which he came on the phone to pressure me into paying the bill and assumed no responsibility was extremely disappointing.
I work in customer service for a living, and I have dealt with frustrated people over the years, and I can't recall having been so infuriated with the way I was treated. I will do everything I can to warn others about the response I received for being dissatisfied with the level of work that was done.
The crew that did the work on the pipe was nice, but made mistakes, the staff that was ultimately responsible for trying to find a compromise was a complete failure.
To provide perspective I have attached a picture of the first hole they dug (wrong spot, right size), and the final hole with the repaired pipe.

YIKES! RIPOFF AND DISASTER! Charged 6 hrs./$688 labor to install a simple 50-gallon gas water heater! How it went? G appeared with wrong type heater (electric), charged me to go back and get a gas water heater; installed a lower grade gas model than I requested; new unit has horrible noise when faucet was turned off; twisted off inlet to new water heater...did not replace...did makeshift repair and charged me; ripped entire water circulation unit & home phone lines of the wall & and simply left them dangling; unbraced circulation unit sags and sways which stresses inlet (I think it would have fractured in week!); heavy metallic waste discarded in damp laundry pile (ended up in our washer and dryer); each stair step (light color carpet) stained with rusty sediment; warranty and manual left drenched in water; rusty metal screw dropped on carpet - family member stepped on it; reinstalled urethane insulation on cold water inlet; G said I required a thermal expansion tank installation (false: we have an open system - no backflow valve); hot water circulation pump valve left in off position (two bathrooms did not have hot water); did not wear Covid mask during entire installation. And there were issues from McNeely's office: nothing in writing; no written estimates; no diagnosis of leak/problem; errors in transcribing almost all details of original request (even lost our address after request was placed); appointment cancelled/scheduled for Christmas eve; promised but failed to help process valid Rheem warranty (McNeely is a Rheem ProPartner); not truthful in BBB affidavits concerning this affair. I could add much more! But, pleased be warned, this is what you will get if you hire McNeely!

Larry Plumbing did some work in my house about a year ago, He was found by the contractor I hired back then and never had to deal with him personaly. Recently, I had a situation where my basement flooded due to a clogged outside drainage, although it took us some time to find, my first person to reach was Larry... here's where it gets fun, he picks up the phone and tells me that he has no interest to help out due to a bad past experience with the contractor I had when I was remodeling the house .. he then tells me to find someone else to fix my problems! This level of unprofessional customer dealing leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth and thought I would share so no one has to deal with this kind of issues in the future. I don't have anything negative to say about his job which has held fine, but definitely on his customer treatment and more on emergencies such as the one I just went through.

He was the only plumber who come come within 4 hours for a leak in my garage. I should have waited. He did find the leak in an outside faucet and repair it. He then takes me into cutting a vent in my furnace stack to heat my garage, then drive to a hardware store 5 minutes away to buy a vent. He was gone almost 2 hours. When he came back he looked at another leaking outdoor faucet and told me it was not urgent, and that he wasn't available again for 3 weeks. He charged me almost $800, most of that labor for time he wasn't even at my home. I called someone else a few weeks later. The second leak caused a mold problem that had to be remediated, and the furnace vent is not to code and has to be removed. By the way, the faucet he did repair no longer works. What a crook!
