Best Plumbing Services in Indianapolis, IN
Called Paul Henderson Plumbing after reading positive reviews on Neighborhood app. Eric came out and diagnosed problem. The office helped to get parts from German company (which isn't always easy). Found out the parts were under warranty and they were shipped directly to our house. Rate for services was very fair. Both plumber and office staff were extremely professional and cordial. Would highly recommend!

Brian and his crew have been my plumber for years. They do great work and always fairly priced. They've done all kinds of work for me from emergencies to renovations. I recommend them anytime I get the chance!

Techs were very good -saw the problem and fixed it in a reasonable amount of time. Pricing seemed fair. I would call them for future problems!

Plumbing issues great and small, I've called Mishler for them all. Seriously though, the work these guys do is phenomenal and they are very honest and straight forward about pricing and availability. They might not be the cheapest in some areas but as with most things in home repair, you get what you pay for. I'm always happy to pay and know it will be done right the first time and with high quality. Highly recommend!

Very happy with the quick response to replace our leaking water heater. They arrived during the expected time frame, and completed the work in a reasonable time. Price was very reasonable. Would recommend them to others.

Well the service was what it was expected to be. The AC works fine now and they time frame in which they delivered was good also. Only one day between call to appointment, so that was decent. My issue here is the pricing. With only having blown two capacitors, and coming away with a 307.00 bill, I find this pretty high. The two capacitors that were replaced in my unit only total to under $50.00. That's not even buying cheap parts made in China either. So to come away with a high bill for what took about an hours worth of time is pretty ridiculous. Commercial has serviced my Air for a couple years now and had been pretty reasonable prior to this. But after their We go by a pricing book for our repairs, not actual costs, that is deterring me from them for any future repairs. Not every job is the same set up or design. To price everything off of the hardest to get to, or hardest to work on units is extremely poor practice. Base the work off the job at hand and nothing else.

The technician was very polite and thorough. He arrived in the timeline the company quoted. The work I had done was reasonably priced.

My 1940s So. Bro rental that I'd purchased a few years ago had experienced root growth in the main drain and after years being dormant, it began backing up with use. I'd already paid Just Drains to clear my main drain (rude, never again), and they went in from the line in the yard. Now I had yet another issue that needed attention. On Valentine's Day, a Sunday, in the snow.
The renters had neglected to keep me informed of the bad situation that had progressed into an emergency, simply shutting the basement door, and we were now in deep sh*t (literally, ankle deep). I was absolutely mortified and in tears after contacting someone to help me out earlier to no avail.
After calling a few places, I finally spoke to someone at Powerhouse and got a quote for $175 - same day. The owner arrived to my mess and was very friendly and considerate of the situation. He went above and beyond, ensuring that he ran the snake out to the street more than the average job to be sure it wouldn't soon happen again.
As everything began to drain, he then cleaned up the mess and hosed down the basement so I wouldn't have to. Of course once it dried I had additional sanitizing to do, but I was so happy with the experience that I told everyone about it. Best worst Valentine's Day ever!
Now that I'm looking through my reviews, I realized that this MUST be added, despite the time that's passed, because I still recommend them to my friends.
If only I could find an equally good electrician. Anyone?

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!! CROOKS!!
AttaBoy installed a new water heater April 2021. 13 months later, we discovered it had leaked so bad that we had to have 2 feet of walls removed and our hardwood floors - it was all damaged from the water. Attaboy fixed the leaking pressure released value and as I have a restoration company at my house to dry my walls & floors, the water heater is leaking WORSE. They came the next day and replaced the entire water heater.....with the incorrect size!!!!! And to make matters worse, 3 items on the install were OUT OF CODE. They are a NIGHTMARE.
AttaBoy originally agreed to handle all the bills related to the leak & getting my house back together.. They even documented on their invoice that the water leak damaged my hardwood floors. It's been 4+ months and their coward of an owner hasn't even called me ONCE, they verbally agreed to take care of the mess & now they're going back on their word to me & my restoration company. They have zero integrity & zero clue about plumbing. They did thousands of dollars in damage to my home & now aren't even human enough to return my calls. RUN!!!! Do not use these unprofessional, incompetent fools.

What can I say? I had a flood. It wasn't my fault, yet here I am days later with half a floor and a shiny new brass pipe in the laundry room wall. And who do you call Sunday evening (of course it was a Sunday) but Roto Rooter? In supposedly a serendipitous twist, the Roto Rooter sent a water clean up guy rather than a plumber, who thankfully knew basic plumbing as well and could stop the flooding. He then explained that my flood was worse than I realized and so I called my insurance and the rest is a water mitigation experience. The service was great and I think they did a thorough and high quality job. My issue with Roto Rooter, however, is twofold: 1) the plumber they sent the next day to actually fix the issue did not speak a word of English. That on its face does not bother me at all. But when you've had a flood and want to know what happened and why, and you need to explain what the symptoms were, it is basically impossible when you don't speak a similar language. 2) The guy they sent to do the daily moisture readings in my condo overstayed every time. What could have been a 5 minute job took at least 20 minutes, most of which was filled with small talk that he perpetuated. I learned about a flood he had, about his girlfriend, about his past in the military and his mentally challenged cats. I learned how much money he makes and how his income compares to the other people he works with. I learned the cost of the sensors he he uses to detect moisture and also generally how they work. I felt like he was hitting on me, but he also kept mentioning his girlfriend, so maybe it really was just small talk. Given that I was a captive audience however - that he HAD to be there and I HAD to be home when he was there, every day for a week, it was exasperating. That last night - Friday - he must've stayed an hour, taking his sweet time carrying out the fans and talking to me in between trips. I was passively aggressively cussing at my dog (who always barked at him) and growing very frustrated by the time he finally left. So while I recommend Roto Rooter, you might prepare yourself with a translator and a strong sense of personal boundaries when you call them.

We needed to have our (very old) sewer line replaced. We'd received a quote from another company but wanted to bid out such a large project. Carlisle was less expensive and did a very good job. They gave us multiple options and quotes as well as their recommendations on how to proceed. The sewer was a tight squeeze between houses, trees, and our gas line. They dug it up and replaced it, as well as some additional plumbing inside to reroute a pipe without any incidents. They were very good at explaining to me what they were doing and were courteous and professional when asking me to run water to test the line. I would recommend them for future plumbing projects.

Quick response but a little less than honest when it comes to how much you actually pay them. They really push their product as a replacement rather than want to try to repair what you already have. Hesitant to even try so not sure if they just want to make more money on full replacement or aren't confident in working on other brands?

Just had these guys out this morning to fix a leaky shower. While the service tech was looking at the shower, I asked how much the repair would cost. His response was to replace the cartridge, $327.00. That's mostly labor. So I felt inclined to ask how long it would take since that sounded like a lot of labor. His response, about 30 minutes. Then a moment later he said or it could take a couple hours and it requires a special tool to remove the cartridge. At this point I thanked him for his time and asked if he could just give me an estimate.
For perspective, a new cartridge cost me $18.98 at Lowes (it came with the less than special tool) and, after watching a 15 minute youtube video on replacing the cartridge for my specific shower, I did the job myself in under 30 minutes.
I would not even recommend them to someone I despise.

Very poor professionalism, which makes me question their work. My husband scheduled an appointment last week, got our confirmation call two days before our scheduled appointment for Sat. @ 7:30 am. Was a No Show - No Call Left them a voice mail. Called back again on Monday and was told it was miscommunication. They did apologize but, again, makes me think twice about having them do any work for me now. Very disappointed

We had our master bathroom remodeled, and needed basic plumbing re-done in order to connect the new sinks/faucets. We also had some small issues in another bathroom. The plumber was on time, efficient and able to add our additional request. He was personable and very affordable. Would recommend.

I have had their number for years but I had a retired HVAC guy to go to back then, but now he's really retired so I gave this company a call as our AC died.
Bud Calbert came out the next day after a call and he was very detailed with his work and actually loves to educate customers on the what's and how's on your AC. He's very experienced in this field so can't go wrong in addressing HVAC problems. Got some really good pointers on maintenance to minimize problems and prolong your AC life.
I definitely will call this company again for HVAC concerns.

Larry Plumbing did some work in my house about a year ago, He was found by the contractor I hired back then and never had to deal with him personaly. Recently, I had a situation where my basement flooded due to a clogged outside drainage, although it took us some time to find, my first person to reach was Larry... here's where it gets fun, he picks up the phone and tells me that he has no interest to help out due to a bad past experience with the contractor I had when I was remodeling the house .. he then tells me to find someone else to fix my problems! This level of unprofessional customer dealing leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth and thought I would share so no one has to deal with this kind of issues in the future. I don't have anything negative to say about his job which has held fine, but definitely on his customer treatment and more on emergencies such as the one I just went through.

He was the only plumber who come come within 4 hours for a leak in my garage. I should have waited. He did find the leak in an outside faucet and repair it. He then takes me into cutting a vent in my furnace stack to heat my garage, then drive to a hardware store 5 minutes away to buy a vent. He was gone almost 2 hours. When he came back he looked at another leaking outdoor faucet and told me it was not urgent, and that he wasn't available again for 3 weeks. He charged me almost $800, most of that labor for time he wasn't even at my home. I called someone else a few weeks later. The second leak caused a mold problem that had to be remediated, and the furnace vent is not to code and has to be removed. By the way, the faucet he did repair no longer works. What a crook!
