ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER

James founded Burney's Plumbing in 1997, incorporating over 30 years of experience in plumbing. He is married and has 3 children as well as, 6 grandchildren. His oldest daughter, Jennifer, works in the office with him, while his wife works from home handling accounts payable. During his spare time he enjoys working around the house, gardening, boating, fishing and hunting. He stays active during his time off and can often be found at a school function for either his youngest daughter or one of his grandchildren.

He was the only plumber who come come within 4 hours for a leak in my garage. I should have waited. He did find the leak in an outside faucet and repair it. He then takes me into cutting a vent in my furnace stack to heat my garage, then drive to a hardware store 5 minutes away to buy a vent. He was gone almost 2 hours. When he came back he looked at another leaking outdoor faucet and told me it was not urgent, and that he wasn't available again for 3 weeks. He charged me almost $800, most of that labor for time he wasn't even at my home. I called someone else a few weeks later. The second leak caused a mold problem that had to be remediated, and the furnace vent is not to code and has to be removed. By the way, the faucet he did repair no longer works. What a crook!
