I hired Hector to do wainscoting, crown moulding, as well as painting and he did a fantastic job! This guy has a knack for carpentry work and I would highly recommend him. He and his partner, Felix, are dependable, courteous, and work efficiently. I have also hired him to replace some recessed lighting throughout the entire house.

Excellent service, courteous workers. Came right on time, repainted our deck rails, fixed a soffit and repaired and repainted two back doors that we're rotting a little.
We thought the price was reasonable and he even left us with little cans of the leftover paint they used.
We'd definitely use them again.

Called Alpha this morning about a gas line hookup from our basement to our new kitchen stove. They found an available tech (Andrew) who was over within the hour to look at what needed to be done. We gave him the ok and he finished up in about 2 hours. He was very thorough, knew exactly what to do and did an outstanding job. Very happy with the results and on such short notice. Highly recommend.

Legit. I had a Sunday appt, and I was running late (misplaced my keys). The main guy, Eric, was really cool about everything. After all that, he quickly diagnosed two issues and only charged me $40 for the service. Definitely going with him in the future.

Called first thing on a Monday morning. Explained clearly what probably had to happen. Told me the price up front. Showed me exactly what was wrong. The Yelpers are right -- Abe is the best plumber! Will definitely call again!!!

Update 2: I don't think the owner understands my issue with the service (or lack of service provided) ... I wasn't given an opinion on the merits of Bath Fitter products, I was told that there was no way to repair the tub and that it had to be completely replaced. It seems he isn't grasping my concern and sense of betrayal--especially by an organization that profits off of the idea of selfless Service to one's country.
Your tech should have provided the merits of upgrading AND referred me to Bath Fitter since your company doesn't work on their products rather than making false, misleading, or otherwise ignorant statements about repairs. If the supervisor who spoke with the technician did not believe it was repairable, then I question your company's expertise.
Lastly, I was very upfront with the problem I had when I scheduled my appointment.
There's a lot that can be learned from this encounter--communication from customer service to technicians, better communication with the client about capabilities, and a more honest and genuine assessment of possible solutions with the homeowner to figure out the best solution.
Because of the owner's response, I will leave my initial blasting review unchanged.
And yes, I served in the U.S. Navy and deployed twice to the Middle East. I expect an organization that promotes its military connection to look out for what's in the best interest of their clients if they're going to exploit it for financial gain.

Bob never showed up for our agreed appointment and never contacted me to explain his absence or to reschedule.
Bob's voicemail prompt talks about the importance of your (missed) call, but it seems his customers are not important to him at all. Talk is cheap. Action is the best and most reliable measure of a company's principles and values.
If a vendor can't manage to show up when promised, how can they be trusted to do the work?
DO NOT TRUST ALLIED SERVICES. THERE ARE MANY OTHER HVAV COMPANIES, AND I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO CALL SOMEONE ELSE... ANYONE ELSE.

Axel was punctual and answered all my questions. He did a great job installing my shower. This is the person you'll want to have as your plumber. Pricing was fair & I was very pleased with $50 military discount as well. I will definitely be hiring him for future plumbing needs.

Daniel's home services gave me the lowest price, arrived the same day and were professionals. I was very satisfied with their work.

I was not at all satisfied. The technician told me that my hot water heater looked old and was manufactured in 1999. We purchased this home in 2013 and subsequently replaced the hot water heater. Then he told me that the valve for the hose bib was stuck and needed to be replaced. When he left to find the outside water shut off I checked the valve and it turned with very little effort. When I showed this to him he said he was surprised. He quoted me a figure around $2300 and then said Let me see what I can do for you. Then he said that he could charge me for add ons for two of the the valves instead of charging for the full replacement, then deducted the valve that was actually working, then deducted another 5% and came up with a final amount of $1476.00. If the job could be done for that amount it should have been quoted that way from the start, not quoted that way as some sort of favor to me. Just price the job with all of the adjustments at the beginning. I will be getting other estimates and going with another company

Mr. Gerardo was easy to talk with. He made sure for all troubleshooting (2 toilets + 2 sinks + looking into a shower floor problem, that I was involved and understood how he was going to repair it. Prices were reasonable. Highly recommended.

Amazing service. Much better to get professional service as at least they only charge you for quality work instead of finding other issues. I was able to schedule same day appointment to get my kitchen clogged fix. It was clogged again after few days but these guys came on the same day to fix at no cost. Keep up the good work!

While they did a great job on the first repair, we asked them to come back to fix our dishwasher and they ended up breaking it worse. They need to stick with what they're good at.

Absolute robbery! $650 for 50 minutes of work to snake my floor drain. The tech was very nice though. The guy gave me $100 discount but still astronomical price for the work.

Mr. Williams was super helpful with determining the problem and resolving it within the day. Will be returning for any and all future plumbing requirements!

I must admit...I wasn't very happy with the cost. But like anything in this world, you get what you pay for. Perfect analogy would be comparing Michael and Sons to a luxury brand car. You have to pay a high price for high quality craftsmanship. I could have gone to one of the home repair places to get my new water heater and sump pump and maybe saved half of what I paid at Michael and Sons. But then again, I doubt if one of these places would have a master plumber do the install. Sometimes peace of mind and craftsmanship mean a lot when it comes to your home investment and the safety of your family. My plumber was Joshua L, and he was so anal retentive that every bend in the copper piping and every weld had to be exact. He checked and rechecked every fitting, and with precision, he would not leave until everything was perfect and I was satisfied. I'm sure that every tech is not like Josh, but I'm very happy he was the one assigned to my home project. Michael and Sons is expensive, but I can see why if they have to pay for a group of highly trained professional technicians.

I was notified on June 22, 2023 by American Home Shield that one of their trusted (they are not accredited with the BBB) contractors (METROPOLITAN PLUMBING AND SEWER LLC) would be fixing my plumbing issues and after I told them exactly what the issue was they came out on June 27th after having to reschedule for the repair. They did not complete the repair and July 6th the repair is still not complete. I cannot get anyone on the phone and I was guaranteed a completion on June 28 and I have already paid. This company and my home warranty company have been terrible and all I want is for someone to allow me to find my own contractors to do the work at this point and reimbursed as this has been outstanding for weeks. The customer service of both companies has been atrocious!

This company takes advantage of people. They charge you a fee for coming out to your residence and a diagnostic fee even if they don't fix anything. I am a homeowner, I thought my drain was backed up, gave Len the plumber a call, $49 to drive to my home, technician went in my basement, he told me it was my turtle tank, and still charged me $236, their diagnostic fee. I will never call them again and will not recommend their services to anyone.
I posted a review awhile ago, haven't heard anything from Len the plumber or a manager and to top it all off, I wish I had read all of the terrible reviews this company has.
