Eric from Sami's plumbing is superb!  Very customer oriented, knows what he is doing and gets the job done correctly and with attention to detail.  Highly professional and would recommend him!

FANTASTIC 5+ star service! Having recently built a home from the ground up, I've interacted with at least 35+ different home-service providers in the last year and have never been compelled to write a review -- or been this pleased. Sami's is clearly an honestly run company and beyond refreshing to do work with. Rates were VERY reasonable and competitive with other service providers (believe me, I've done the field research on this).

TLDR Preview:If you're researching plumbers, you probably have a time sensitive issue and aren't browsing reviews for kicks. You just found your plumber -- good luck!

Longer version: Had a very significant leak coming through a garage wall, which I thought may have been our fault for not winterizing early enough. In theory, this would be an out-of-pocket expense and not covered by the builder, so contacted Sami's (based on Yelp reviews - thanks!). Got an immediate call back from Eric and a SAME DAY service visit (whaaat?! unheard of).

Turns out, it wasn't a frozen/burst pipe, but a builder-installation error.... grrrrr. Eric could have easily done the repair and taken my money, but instead strongly encouraged me to bring this to our builder's attention first, since they should be accountable and responsible for the repair. He even wrote some notes for me to share with them! I was so impressed by his honesty and quality of work -- would/will definitely use Sami's again!

Legit.  I had a Sunday appt, and I was running late (misplaced my keys).  The main guy, Eric, was really cool about everything.  After all that, he quickly diagnosed two issues and only charged me $40 for the service.  Definitely going with him in the future.

Came on short notice on a Sunday, when they're normally closed, because they couldn't fit me in on Saturday. Arrived sooner than originally thought and tackled the problem with the customer in mind - starting with the least expensive option, moving on when that didn't work, and keeping me informed at each step. Plumbing work with anyone is expensive, but would recommend Sami's for any job.

Fantastic service and extremely professional. I initially reached out on Yelp and Eric responded within a couple of hours to setup a visit to take a look at the backed up kitchen sink. Upon inspection, he provided a rate card with pricing to perform the work. Every step of the process was professional and most importantly... he fixed the problem! Highly recommend and definitely will be a repeat customer for any future plumbing need.

We had a toilet to install, a garbage disposal to replace and some under-sink plumbing to get up to code, and a flap on another toilet that needed a bit of work. Eric responded fast and came out early. He's a nice low-key friendly guy, he knows his stuff, and he set it up to save us a good bit of money on the whole chunk of work. He didn't leave a mess either. All in all, highly recommend his business.

Eric replaced a leaking garbage disposal for us on Saturday, a few hours after we called.  His price was reasonable, he worked efficiently, and he answered all of our questions (including some unrelated to garbage disposals).  We would work with Sami's Plumbing again.

Fantastic experience - called to get a quote for dealing with a leaking sink, and got a diagnosis for no charge over the phone and a solution I could implement myself.  Saved a ton of money and headaches thanks to these guys!

Sami's responded to my non-emergency call the same day, worked with me to figure out the least impact on my drywall, and did a difficult repair job without charging extra.

Our garbage disposal just randomly stopped working and after checking the circuit breaker and the outlet, we just assumed the disposal needed to be replaced.  A quick google search found Sami and, based on his reviews, I gave him a call.  He said he could be here by noon, which is faster than other places I'd called.  I explained the problem and he said ok do me a favor, go under your sink, does your disposal have a red button?  Find that, push it in, and try the disposal again.  Problem solved.  I offered to just Venmo him some money to buy him a coffee and he declined.  All that to say, next time we need any plumbing, I'm calling this guy.

Disingenous, to say the least.  They say they provide estimates on Yelp?  Sure.  They estimate how much they will charge you to come out and estimate the actual work.

Caveat Emptor, to say the least.  I sent out requests for estimates, received 5 responses (most wanting more information, quite reasonably so) and then Sam's Plumbing.  Good Lord, good thing I'm stuck on a long telcon with time to waste....and warn.

I charge a dispatch fee because I don't want to deal with rude customers who waste the poor technicians time.  $40 is a very reasonable price.  So you called 6 companies and still calling more, wasting their time.  Good for you  That's the response.

He clearly doesn't understand that Yelp send out the request.  SMH.

I called Sami's Plumbing and they came within a few hours and gave me a quote. They were patient while I crossed checked it with my father (even talked to him on the phone) and answered all of my questions.  He was very good about explaining the cost of the job and was able to help us figure out how to replace part of the handle of our shower ourselves.  He gave a 1 year warranty on parts and labor as well, which is appreciated.  Would call again for sure.

Eric from Sami's Plumbing is efficient, courteous, and professional - what more could you ask for in a plumbing service (or any home service for that matter).  I called on a Saturday morning needing a last minute plumbing inspection.  Not only did Eric accommodate my last minute request, but he called when he was on his way, and arrived exactly when he said he would.  He worked quickly and efficiently but respectfully and thoroughly.  But that was not the extent of his excellent customer service!  My condo association informed me that I needed to have a specific form completed for the inspection, so when I called Eric to ask if he could possibly complete the form and send it back to me, he went above and beyond.  He returned that day and completed the inspection again, in accordance with the form, and filled out and signed the form in person.  I am so glad that I found a reliable, trustworthy, competent, and local plumbing company.  I will call Sami's Plumbing any time I have a plumbing issue.  Furthermore, I will confidently refer anyone who needs plumbing services to Sami's Plumbing.

Very responsive service for a same day hot water issue, and I love that they didn't try to up-sell me which is usually the case! Keeping this number on my speed dial.

Great service. He showed up early and offered me a no pressure quote. Went above the call of service for what he billed me for.  I would recommend him for all future plumbing work to anybody that needs it. I would use him again.

We had a master bathroom shower issue and it was fixed in lightening speed time! The phone call was answered immediately to book the service as well! Eric Sami is a true pro!!! Highly recommended. A++++++

From the moment I contacted him about putting in a new kitchen sink and faucet, which he did the following day, to the day after when he made sure the faucet had a correct nozzle for our water machine, this young man impressed me.  His dedication to impeccable service, high integrity, reasonable prices, and warm demeanor made me feel like I was a neighbor who was truly cared about.

Eric was super helpful!  And really nice.  Answered the phone after-hours (which I was not expecting) and was able to come out and check out our leaky kitchen sink the following afternoon (which I also wasn't expecting).  He was able to get us a new disposal installed that same day.  He also very clearly showed and explained to me what the problem was, in a way that made sense to me.  Can't ask for much more!  Hopefully won't have any future plumbing issues, but if I do, I'll be calling Sami's.  

(Oh, and for people who care about these things: Eric wore those service booties over his shoes, so as to not track dirt in the house. I don't care either way, but I certainly appreciate the gesture.)

I called with a jammed garbage disposal asking for a quote for a repair or installation. Sami walked me through a few steps on the phone and the winning answer was using a hammer with the Allen wrench key at the bottom of my disposal. I really appreciate his honesty and helpfulness and saved me money. I will definitely use his services in the future as he showed true character. Thanks!

Very fast service. I called and sent a picture of the problem. Got a quote immediately via text. They came the next day and it ended up being less then expected. I was not home so he sent a video of the work done. Great communication and smooth transaction.

I have used him twice this past year, and both times, he offered cost savings alternatives and did quality work.  All told, he fixed and upgraded a half dozen items, ranging from leaking pipes and faucets to fused valves.  He also did a good job of surveying and commenting on future plumbing risks.

My issue was that my gas line for my water heater was leaking.   Thus not all plumbers handle gas water  heaters.  
Eric came out the next day on time and spoke to my wife.  After looking at our problem he then did a full assessment of the house plumbing. He was professional and helpful .  He gave us options and his insightful suggestions .  Thus he built his rapport with my wife ... and me
He came out on Saturday and replaced the water heater as agreed . The workmanship was clean and  excellent. It included duct work and gas work .  Definitely a positive experience.

Once again, Sami's plumbing came through for us.  They cut no corners and do great work.  I recommend them at the highest level.

Eric was extremely prompt, professional, and worked hard to finish the gas pipe job.  He explained everything that he was doing so we fully understood what he was working on and the steps he will take.  He provided superior customer service and advice. Although this was the first time we met him for the service but we can clearly experience that he knows the gas pipe job very well. I spoke with few gas pipe certified professionals and felt Eric was the most knowledgeable to work on the residential gas line.

Sami was fantastic!  He was on time, friendly and fast.  He was there to replace my garbage disposal and fixed my running toilet for free when he was finished.  I will not another service again..

Called Eric because my toilet was leaking.  He actually told me what was wrong over the phone, and I was able to fix it myself at no charge.  Very honest guy.  Others may have come out and charged me just for a 5 minute fix.

Owner Eric came out at :6:30 pm, assessed several possibilities for our backed up drain, tried the least invasive and least expensive possibility, and solved the problem. I give the highest recommendation possible to Sami's Plumbing.

Eric was great. I was able to get a next day appointment to fix a water line going to my refrigerator. He gave multiple options at multiple price points and completed the work the same day.

I reached out to Sami's Plumbing for a quote when my garbage disposal stopped working. They called me a few hours later and told me how to reset it for free over the phone, saving me a bunch of money and the hassle of having someone come take a look. Service was prompt, friendly, and very professional. Thanks so much!

Eric was great.  He was on time and gave us a good estimate whereas others were all time and materials.  The work was well done and I learned a bunch as well.  Guess we have a new plumber.

Sami follows standard protocol and is polite.  He accepted my request for a Sunday noon appointment to fix my pressure valve in my basement.  Before he came over, he called me 30 min. ahead, to remind me the appointment.  He arrived on time, and performed the job.  He cleaned up the working area afterward.  I'm happy with his work.

I had a great experience with Eric from Sami's Plumbing. He snaked out a bathtub and a sink for us last week then I called him back to snake our laundry pipe. Shows up promptly, calls right back, diligent, knows his stuff, doesn't waste time, reasonable prices, is very personable. Would definitely use them again. Highly recommend.

Amazing.  I had a very difficult draining issue in my apartment due to rusty pipes, and Sami tirelessly worked at it for an hour and half.  He used booties and gloves to ensure that my floors were clean.  He explained his work along the way and allowed me to look in on what he was doing, so I now have some familiarity with how one resolves a drainage problem.  In the end, though it was a much bigger job than he originally quoted for me, he stood by his original quote of $250.  A real bargain and a true gentleman.  I'd recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone else.

I ultimately selected another service (someone who's worked extensively in my neighborhood) to replace my water heater but the quality of the customer service I received warranted me giving Sami's their due kudos. I had called and spoken with Eric who asked for photos--he replied quickly and provided me with an estimate to replace the water heater when promised. This brief interaction was enough for me to continue to reach out for quotes/estimates/service in the future.

We are in the process of buying a home and our inspector recommended that we get a plumber to scope the sewer pipes to see if we had Orangeburg pipes (horrible if you do). After calling around, Eric was able to give me a very reasonable price and, even better, he was able to come the next day so we could get the pipes looked at before our inspection deadline.

After his subcontractor proved to be difficult about timing, Eric himself rented the necessary equipment in order to meet our right deadline. When he showed up, pipe angles were an issue and he did everything including getting up on the roof to finally be able to look at the pipes.

Eric went above and beyond and he will certainly be getting my business in the future. Polite, professional, great advice, and made it happen. What more could you want?

The handle for our hose bib broke off, I requested a quote from Eric to replace the bib, which came in very reasonably. After evaluating the job site, he was very up front about the lack of access due to our finished basement, and the additional cost and time that would be necessary to replace the hose bib. Instead, he suggested a few cheaper DIY repairs that we could try before sinking a ton of cash into a larger project. I appreciate his honesty and frankness, and will certainly call Eric for our future plumbing needs.

Look, there's a reason why Sami's is so highly rated. It's because they're fucking amazing. FUCKING. AMAZING.

Eric is freaking stupendous; let me count the ways:
1)  Super knowledgeable.  My gas range is old as balls; this thing was original to the (80s) building, so nothing was to current code.  He knew exactly how to uninstall.

2) In order to install the new stove and new pipings and whatever the hell else, he had to work while the gas was live. As in, flowing freely in the kitchen. He had to work fast, and super carefully to install everything he needed to install, without giant fireballs etc.  Let me say it again: LIVE GAS.  As quickly as possible and with safety at the top of the agenda, he installed my new range, a new shutoff valve, and got my kitchen to the 21st century in terms of safety.  
(side note: building engineer came up to check things out and was deeply impressed that Eric was knowledgeable and awesome and could actually do the work.  Apparently, folks tend to shy away from, you know, possible explosive live gas.)

3) Super patient with my rescheduling.

4) Also, the nicest dude ever.  And he's cute too (thumbs up!)

Was all this cheap? Hell no.  Was it worth every penny? Fuck yea.

Sami's Plumbing is second to none. As a retired 20-year Marine veteran, I have rented and owned 9 different homes. This is the best plumbing service I've ever experienced.  Consistently timely and honest with his assessments and appraisals. Eric is a rock star!

Called Eric up again for toilet and sink issues. As a repeat customer, he came out to our house at no charge, provided estimates for both and provided us options on how to fix the problems. He said to give it a shot and if we couldn't fix it, we could call him again. We were able to fix both issues ourselves. Amazingly honest guy who just wanted to help and empowered us with options. Sami's Plumbing is definitely my go to guy if I have any plumbing issues small or large!

Eric was fantastic. I called him for a busted sink disposal which was (to him at least) a very easy fix. He walked me through the solution on the phone and in 2 minutes my sink was working again. Even responded after hours. Thanks!

These guys were great. They worked fast, did the job right, and it cost exactly what they quoted me. We've had a hard time finding a decent plumber in Falls Church, but not anymore. Sami's has my highest recommendation.

I was getting a sewer gas smell coming from my drain pipes, which had been getting progressively worse, but I had been putting off dealing with it.  When it finally got to be too much, I called Sami's on a Sunday figuring I'd probably just leave a message.  But, Eric (the owner) answered the phone and scheduled a visit for 6pm the next day.  Eric was polite, professional, and helpful.  He took a look at everything, and in the end just recommended a simple solution: pouring some bleach down my drains to kill the bacterial in some rarely used pipes.  Even though this wasn't a complex problem for a pro like Eric, you could tell he knows his stuff!  He wouldn't even let me pay his reasonable service visit fee!

Sami's plumbing will definitely be my first call next time I have another plumbing problem.

Very pleased with Sami's integrity and service. Their tech came out to look at a leak in our upstairs bathroom. Rather than cut a hole in our ceiling and charge us a fee, he advised us how to monitor the leak so we can identify the source and they can come back and fix it potentially without ruining our dry wall. Since he was in the area already, the tech didn't even charge us a visit fee. We will definitely be calling them back to complete the repairs.

Eric with Sami's plumbling is fantastic.  He immediately returned our phone message (left on the Labor Day holiday) and came out the next day.  He was right on time, completed the work promptly, charged a reasonable price and was very polite, personable and professional.  We will definitely call him again when we have future plumbing needs.

I called in with a strange smell coming from a grate in the floor and asked about setting up an appointment. They asked some diagnostic questions and then told me how to fix the problem myself. Maybe I'm just a cynical person but that kind of free advice was very unexpected. Oh and it fixed the problem as well.

Eric from Sami's Plumbing is my Prince Eric, not even kidding. In a moment of clumsiness, I dropped an expensive Tiffany's diamond stud earring down below the drain of my bathroom sink this morning. After my landlord let me know the contractor she usually calls charges $100 just for a service call, I asked to find my own person, then started combing through reviews on Yelp, and hoping to find someone who could help ASAP (the two calls I tried before calling Sami's wouldn't come until the next day in the afternoon). Eric answered my call, let me know he was happy to help and might not even charge me (he didn't! thank you SO, SO MUCH!), and would call after he'd finished what he was currently working on. Not long after, he did, and let me know he'd be over in about 15 minutes. He even put up with the impossible parking situation in my apartment complex (lots of construction, and almost no visitor parking anyway). It took him about 10 minutes (probably fewer) from start to finish, when he got the earring out and handed it back to me. It's not a traditional, nor especially complicated job, but his friendliness and willingness to take care of the issue right away and to be kind enough not to charge me is more than enough for me to never call anyone else again, regardless of the issue, particularly since he was well-equipped to handle whatever I could have called about. Would use their services again in a minute.  For a kitchen faucet installation (& 2 other things), Eric called ahead, arrived on time, was courteous, thorough & efficient, charged a fair price, and did a great job overall.  Highly recommended!

I called Eric about a drop in hot water pressure in our kitchen sink. He asked about the make of faucet and other particulars, explained to me the possible causes, and gave me a price quote over the phone. He called before our scheduled time, and arrived right on time. He was able to track down the problem to blockage in the hot water line to the faucet and resolve the problem. Eric responded to our scheduling request promptly on late night May 30, 2019. Then, on the phone, he accurately diagnosed the cause of our bathroom issue, and guided us to resolve the problem without getting us into any unnecessary repair/expenses. We're very thankful for his generosity and professionalism!

I found them through Yelp.  I had actually written to him about some work on one of our rentals months before we used him but they weren't available at the time we needed.  However Eric is  very good about replying fast and actually answering the questions I asked rather than giving me the run around (like most home service companies tend to do.)  So, the next time we needed work done, I thought of them.

They are not cheap.  Even with the 10% off coupon from the Yelp referral, it was at least $100 more than I expected to replace a garbage disposal.  However, it was the weekend and because of this particular tenant and their scheduling issues I just wanted it taken care of rather than calling around for lower prices.  Eric was professional and did the work quickly.  I was going to review him that evening and probably would have given him 4 stars because of the price but I was busy... and then two days later we had a problem with the dishwasher.  

Turns out the dishwasher issue was created by an oversight with the garbage disposal installation.  I was so disappointed to have paid what I feel was a high price just to not have the work done right and to have gone through all the inconvenience with my tenant again to get an appliance repair guy in to fix issue two (which cost even more!)  So, I wrote to Eric to express my disappointment.  I don't want to bore you with the details but long story short, it became quite clear than Eric just made an honest mistake.  He apologized and even paid the bill we had from the appliance repair company that same day.  

I didn't even ask for the him to pay the bill... he offered.  I was actually dreading the potential of asking because I figured it would soak up an hour or two of my time with a bunch of back and forth and turn into a major hassle.  However, it wasn't... Eric stands behind his work... and for that reason alone I would call him again and/or recommend him to others.

I called for a quote for a new gas line to my new gas range because we are switching from electric. Eric came out and gave me great information and a reasonable quote. I did choose another company for other reasons, but have no hesitation believing Sami's Plumbing would have also been a wise choice. He quoted the job sensibly and with economy in mind.

Have only the best things to say about Eric and Sami's Plumbing.  He came the same day we called to unclog a sewer line - it was a Saturday!.  Efficient and thorough, polite and responsive.   Then two days later I dropped my mother's diamond ring down the sink.  Total panic - called Eric, he was there within a half-hour, recovered the ring, no big deal, right?  Wrong it was a very big deal to me - I was in tears.  Thank you Eric.  We will never use another plumber!

I found Eric to be very knowledgeable about the work that I needed. He explains things very well, and gives you options on how you want to approach a job if there is more than one way to do so. He is very efficient and arrived promptly and understood the problems I had immediately. He is very good about explaining the cost of the job, which I found reasonable. His work is excellent and he took the time to show me how things worked after the job was done. I highly recommend him, and I would be pleased to have him return for any other work that I might need to have done.

My second review for Sami's Plumbing. Eric was professional and quickly installed a new hot water heater in a little over two hours. I would recommend their service to anyone looking for a reliable plumber.

We've used Sami's plumbing several times in the past year: to install a utility sink in the basement, to make some small repairs in our new home, and to fix a slow toilet. In each case Eric did a great job for a reasonable price.   He explains what he is doing and what the cost will be beforehand. We highly recommend him.

I reached out to Eric to take get a quote on installing a few things after recently purchasing a new condo. He was polite, professional, and quick to respond. The quote was very reasonable. During the process he explianed everything he was doing and also provided lots of advice. I couldn't be happier with the work that he did, and will be recommending him to anyone in my building.

I called Eric to handle a drain clog because I could not figure out how to disassemble the drain properly.  Instead of coming out and charging me - which he could have easily done - he walked me through how to handle the disassembly so I could do it myself.  I will absolutely call him for any plumbing needs in the future.  He is honest, and that is hard to find.

My experience with Eric has been nothing but extremely professional and pleasant. He cut to the chase and went right on for a phone call. As I described the problem, he went as far to give me the solution over the phone. Then offered if I cannot fix it he would come out and do it for me With a very reasonable price. From what he described over the phone and because now I had an idea of what might have gone wrong with my in sinkerator, I was confidently able to resolve the issue with a few online research YouTube videos as well. But if he had not told me what the real problem was, I would never have been able to resolve it on my own. I will definitely recommend and use Eric for future plumbing issues at my house. For someone who has never put her head underneath the sink, I feel like I had accomplished a monumental task by unclogging the garbage disposal. Happy future customer!

See his response to my review.  I actually did take my business elsewhere and had the same job done for  half the price.

I needed to replace the cartridge of a shower faucet in a rental. This guy quoted me $400 miles minimum. Another company got the exact same job done the same day for $205. I'd rather be cheap than being taken for a ride.  This is the kind of business that will take advantage of your situation so do your research and shop around if you can.

On top of everything looking at his response I know I saved myself a lot of heartburn by taking my business elsewhere.

Called him last week for a repair and he set up a time exactly when I was available. Called when he was on his way and was exactly on time. Professional and fair prices. Blew out a valve and even gave tips on how to maintain. Would absolutely use again!

So I sent Sami's plumbing a message that I was looking to replace our entire plumbing system at the house since getting the basement remodeled. I would expect to spend a few thousand dollars on such a large project but decided to take my business elsewhere when I received a reply '$80 to come out for an estimate.'

No thanks, I'll take my $4,000-$5,000 job elsewhere smh...

I have contacted several companies to get a quote for the installation of a faucet and garbage disposal in the kitchen. I got about 6-8 estimates, and they were all in the range of $200-$400. This company gave me an estimate of $960.

I contacted them wondering that maybe they were including the faucet and the garbage disposal items in the quote (even if that were the case it was still pretty high) but to my surprise they said that they are not, the price was only for the installation. I contacted again and told them that their quote was like 3 times more than the rest, but I didn't get any replies.

Total rip-off. I guess they just take advantage of people who don't check with other companies or don't know too much about installation fees.

Stay far way and look somewhere else.
