DMH Plumbing is an exceptional business! Danny is courteous, highly skilled and offers great rates with plumbing issues in our home. Lauren is quick to respond, friendly and helpful on the phone. We highly recommend this great bussiness!

My storm door was broken by the recent strong winds. Juan was responsive and gave options on how to fix it. Very satisfied with the provided services and highly recommend.

We called Hydro-Rooters in the morning after a basement toilet and sink backed up. Jon came out the same day, snaked the main sewer line and, with the use of a camera, gave me a birds-eye view of the pipe. Unfortunately, the pipe (Orangeburg) from the house to the street needed to be replaced. Not only did they give us multiple options for replacing the pipe (and different price points), they were able to pull permits and complete the work less than 48 hours later! Everyone involved with the job was pleasant and professional, but most of all took the time to explain their work. This was an expensive job. Could I have found someone cheaper? Maybe. But based on a few calls not by much and certainly not as quickly.

I had a with my hot water heater - no hot water. Mr. Nelson responded quickly, and checked it out. He hit the reset switch, told me the water heater's age & said the fix would hold for a week or perhaps a few months. He didn't put any pressure on me to replace the heater but did agree that it seemed as if my water heater was sending out a distress signal. He replaced the old heater with a new one & hauled away the clunker! Great service.

Absolutely amazing! I needed my house cleaned that evening before guests arrived. I messaged a few places on Yelp and LikeCleanUP replied within in minutes and was able to clean THE SAME DAY! Not to mention offering the best price. I was not disappointed when Roman arrived. He had a giant rolling tool kit of cleaning supplies, mop set and an industrial vacuum. No corners were cut, my house was deep cleaned and looked amazing so my family does not have to know what a heathen I am. I will be using them again in the near future.

These guys are great. They have amazing customer service and have reasonable pricing which they're upfront about unlike a lot of other companies. I'll be coming back for any future plumbing issues.

We hired Tom from Murphy's Plumbing during the sale of our home. He helped us comple a few small projects before closing. We are beyond thankful! Tom's communication is prompt, his prices are fair, and he's work is great. We hope we won't have to call a plumber again anytime soon, but if we do we would be sure to call Tom again.

The plumber was able to diagnose our issue (a leak in a pipe in our ceiling) but that was where the positive feedback ends. When I booked the appointment, they said we will give you a 20 minute heads up when he's heading over. If it's within business hours, we will waive the service fee. If it's after business hours, you will be charged the fee. But I don't actually get a say on when they're coming so how am I supposed to know if I'm paying the fee or not? Am I also just supposed to wait at home all day for him to show up?
Finally, when the guy was here, he said it'd be anywhere from $150 to $250 to diagnose the issue, and once he found it he seemed to just arbitrarily decide that is was $250. He said the fix of the issue would be $500. The next day, I had a different person come by who said it should have cost less than $100 for the diagnosis and would be $150 for the fix. I do not recommend the plumber Dr for these reasons.

Found Hollin Hall Plumbing through the Nextdoor app, then checked Yelp. So many good reviews and now I know why. They were here on time and quickly went to work on a few issues, installing faucets and repairing toilets and leaks. These guys were courteous and respectful. A thousand percent better than the last company I used. I agree with others here and highly recommend and will use this company again. Thank you Kelly, Geeter and Ryan.

Wow... I could not have chosen a better plumber to solve my problems...I thought my water heater was going to have to be replaced...I had another plumbing service out the week before and was changed $800.00 for thirty minutes of snaking out a drain... didn't fix the problem...J. Hood came out on the recommendation of my neighborhood social media feed...they were prompt and professional...they located the problem in minutes...not my water heater but a line in my AC was the issue...they fixed it, cleaned up the water flooding and guess what, they didn't charge me anything because they said it was just a minor problem and I had already had a bad experience with the other highly advertised plumbing firm...I can't recommend J. Hood Services enough...a bright light of service, professionalism, and integrity!

We have used this firm a number of times since we moved to Silver Spring in 2006. Their work has been consistently outstanding and reasonably priced. Most recently, I emailed them on Sunday, April 28th from Boston, asking them to propose a visit date to repair a leak at a bathroom sink. They emailed back the next morning suggesting they could send someone at 8 AM. We accepted, the plumber arrived on time, found it was the faucet leaking internally, left to get a part, and finished the repair before 10 AM. They charged us $215.

Best service ever. Woke up to water in my basement, called at 7 am and they were at my house by 945 am and finished by 11. Awesome communication for their expected arrival time as well. I can't say enough positive things about this company. Will definitely be my go to plumber for any future needs. Hands down best experience ever. I would highly recommend.

They came once and fixed a simple problem. We had a more complex problem, involving a warranty on a water tank, a cleaning of the furnace (should be simple) and we wanted to expand our HVAC to include air filtering and humidity control. THEY NEVER CAME BACK. I've called every other week or so for six months and have written a letter. They left our water tank damaged as well.

Update on my plumbing review of 12/9/16. After a discussion with the owner, Ken Tucker, he admitted that they had fallen short on the plumbing service and agreed to refund the fee for their service contract. Nobody's perfect, but I consider this the mark of a responsible company.
I would still recommend them for their HVAC service, which has been consistently good.

I have used Jimmy several times now, for emergencies and semi-emergencies, and have been pleased with the results. Jimmy is quite responsive, communicates by text which is helpful, and does the work when he says he will. Pricing is fair. I would use again.

Kesterson does a decent job on the plumbing itself - Ben's work is especially good. However, overall communication is laborious and slow, non-plumbing work (rough landscaping repair, carpentry, callbacks for missed detail) is sloppy, and attention to detail is almost nonexistent.
Use KP&H for just your plumbing work, but pay someone else to do all the repair/replace work to put your house back in order.

They hooked our gas line back to the house. It didn't pass inspection the way they installed it so I was without heat for 5 days in the winter. Then the inspector came back and it still was not installed properly so again another two day delay. Then they wanted to charge for the job even though it wasn't finished. DO NOT RECOMMEND. They also charge double the price of most plumbers and refuse to provide an itemized receipt. Not professional or competent.
