I moved to Big Bear recently, this was my first plumbing problem.  Had a scary incident late at night- heard a big booming noise/bang behind the wall in the kitchen then a loud roaring noise.  Could also hear it in the bathroom on the other side of the kitchen; between the two is the gas furnace compartment.  I felt the wall and it was red hot, omg, so I called the fire department.  They came out and thank God it wasn't a fire but a burst hot water pipe behind the wall, and shut off my water.

The next day I called a plumber, a well-established outfit, and made an appointment- they never showed or called.  I called and got no answer, no call back.  Being without water is a pain obviously, so around 3:00 or so I looked online and found Drain Tech.  I called and Brian, the owner, though on another job, answered the phone and took my info.  He had another job after the one he was on, but said he'd come after that, and he DID, what a relief, also called to let me know when he was on his way.

Turned out it was a broken shower valve, rusted through.  Brian cut a section of the wall away in the kitchen, repaired/replaced the valve, then neatly screwed sections of board (like 2x4s?) behind the cut out area to reattach the drywall to.  The entire cavity was soaked, he mopped up the standing water.  Best to leave it open and let it dry for a few days to avoid the growth of mold.  I have a drill but am not mechanically inclined, he showed me how to reattach the dry wall, or offered to come back and do it himself in a few days, but no need- EASY, even for DIY-challenged me.  He even provided me with screws.  I especially appreciate it when tradespeople show you what's what, bother to educate you.  He also showed me where the water valve is and how to turn it on and off.  Outstanding.

He left everything clean as a whistle.  He was calm, conscientious, detail-oriented.  I'm a shy person and he put me completely at ease (good vibes).  No forced, chatty banter to schmooze/charm (hate that), just clear focus on the task at hand.  And best of all, he charged me an ultra-reasonable price that I was delighted to pay.  I found myself a good, HONEST plumber, hooray!

The crew- Rick and Erik came at the appointed time. They were thorough in their work, explaining the procedure along the way and cleaned up after completing the job.

They detected a slab leak and re-routed a line. In addition they detected another corroded part  that  needed to be replaced - something we would not have known until later. They gave us discounts on the additional work needed because they were already onsite. We were well cared for with Erik and Rick.

Got a quote from them, and although the work was a bit more than they anticipated they stuck with their original quote.  Very few companies stand by their original quote, especially if the labor hours turn out to be a little more than they projected.  I was very satisfied with their work and the professional manner of all the staff.

I can't say enough about Drew - great person and great work.  He's friendly, courteous, yet he stayed very focused on the job and got it done quickly.  This was my first time using Just Right and I'm so grateful we have our go-to plumber.  My husband came home while Drew was still working on our plumbing, so he got to meet Drew as well.  Even my husband says everything was great about Drew - such a professional and personable man.  And they do HVAC as well?! Drew told me that's 'Mitch' who does that - I read great reviews about Mitch too. AWESOME!  Got our go-to guys for that as well now.  I highly recommend Drew for your plumbing and I highly doubt you'll be disappointed!  Just fantastic.  No other way to put it!

Pristine Plumbing did a great job. After an emergency that flooded a portion of our house, we were able to get a technician out that same day (Sunday). He was very informative and even gave us options in parts based on how much we wanted I spend. He showed us how to be preventative and what to look out for with regards to the supply lines in our bathroom. Overall, I felt safe and comfortable that I was getting a fair price for emergency service. Will definitely use them again as we found out they are certified to install whole home filters.

Best Service Technician I've ever done business with!

I discovered that my water heater was leaking from the bottom.  I knew this was bad news, so I started looking for a plumber.  I would have done it myself, as I like to do most of my own repairs, but I had a feeling that some of the pipes/lines weren't done to code previously.

Home Depot wanted to charge me $1,500 for the install, and it was a General Electric brand water heater.  No bueno!  I called around, and most everyone had the same range of $1,100...until I spoke with Raul from Exact Rooter.  He was under a grand and I got a really good, honest feeling from him.  He explained why his costs were lower than others, and the way he likes to do things.  Then we set up an appointment for the next morning.

The morning of the appointment for service, Raul calls me about an hour before and re-confirms our appointment.  He arrived to my house about 15 minutes early, ready to get to work.  The install went extremely well.  He's very knowledgeable in his craft and is willing to explain everything he is doing to you...which is good for me, because I like to learn how to do things.  He's very polite, and extremely professional.  Even my dog liked him!

Even though I enjoy doing most repairs myself, I will DEFINITELY be keeping his number on hand.  Because I'll know I'm not getting ripped off (which is a big reason I like to do stuff myself), and because I know he'll do it right!   Thanks Raul!

Came to unclog our toilet at a business.  Worked until it was cleared and cleaned up.  Was very happy because he waited for me to get there, about 10 minutes.  Appreciated that and would use again.

Last Wednesday I had a bad leakage, I had Clogged drains that cause drainage issues, but also increase the chances of other plumbing problems occurring. Not only that, but clogged drains lead to sewage backups.
Plumbing problems can spring up anytime. Some of the issues are minor and can be fixed without any professional assistance. However, there are problems that only an expert plumber can resolve satisfactorily which A&R completed! Thank you guys for coming to our rescue.

This company originally wanted $540 for the work that I was asking for. I ultimately got a license contractor to do all of the work for $140.

We had, what we thought was a main backup early am last week. I called another plumber and left a message at 9:30 and ran errands. Long story short, he never returned my 3 calls. I called another plumber who told me that I should have called earlier because now I'd have to pay after hour rates. I called Steel Plumbing and Raul answered the phone right away. I explained my problem and he offered to come that same day by 7 pm. He was so nice and genuinely seemed to care. I set up an appointment for the next morning at 8 am. He arrived on time and was very professional. He determined that the water pressure had cleared the drain and was okay at this time. I have put him in my contacts for future use and would absolutely recommend him to anyone that will listen. Thank you Raul!

My shower stopped working and needed it fixed. I called another company first, their estimate was a bit steep. I called AAVCO ,Josh came for an estimate which was much better. He told me there shouldn't have been a reason the previous company didn't turn my water back on. He then showed me how and where to turn it off/on for future reference.

Josh came back with Shannon to complete the job. They cleaned up well when they finished and did a great thorough job.
