Drain Tech Plumbing

Brian at Drain Tech is absolutely phenomenal! His pricing is fair and honest. He is friendly, clean and knowledgeable. I have had him out to my home on 2 separate occasions and he was on-time and worked swiftly. He is very good about accommodating schedules even with the labor shortage and high demands in Big Bear. I've had him work on both gas and water issues and he's been a dream each time.  I cannot recommend him enough, he's definitely saved the day in a pinch!

Brian @ Draintech is awesome! Thankful to have found him, when it is so difficult to find reliable, knowledgeable help up on the mountain. First time, he came out immediately, to replace a water heater in a very difficult spot, right after a snow storm. He found the right heater, bought it, and brought it. He also put in the pipes for gas conversion, and put in the needed piping/vent, etc. for new washer and dryer connections. He is the best. My only pumbing go-to guy. Responds promptly, and is very friendly. Recommend highly.

We found we had a seriously leaky water heater. Brian came out right away. We had to wait as there were no local ones available to buy, but he told us how to safely put it in lockdown. He came as soon as the water heater did and put it in. Did a great job.

I moved to Big Bear recently, this was my first plumbing problem.  Had a scary incident late at night- heard a big booming noise/bang behind the wall in the kitchen then a loud roaring noise.  Could also hear it in the bathroom on the other side of the kitchen; between the two is the gas furnace compartment.  I felt the wall and it was red hot, omg, so I called the fire department.  They came out and thank God it wasn't a fire but a burst hot water pipe behind the wall, and shut off my water.

The next day I called a plumber, a well-established outfit, and made an appointment- they never showed or called.  I called and got no answer, no call back.  Being without water is a pain obviously, so around 3:00 or so I looked online and found Drain Tech.  I called and Brian, the owner, though on another job, answered the phone and took my info.  He had another job after the one he was on, but said he'd come after that, and he DID, what a relief, also called to let me know when he was on his way.

Turned out it was a broken shower valve, rusted through.  Brian cut a section of the wall away in the kitchen, repaired/replaced the valve, then neatly screwed sections of board (like 2x4s?) behind the cut out area to reattach the drywall to.  The entire cavity was soaked, he mopped up the standing water.  Best to leave it open and let it dry for a few days to avoid the growth of mold.  I have a drill but am not mechanically inclined, he showed me how to reattach the dry wall, or offered to come back and do it himself in a few days, but no need- EASY, even for DIY-challenged me.  He even provided me with screws.  I especially appreciate it when tradespeople show you what's what, bother to educate you.  He also showed me where the water valve is and how to turn it on and off.  Outstanding.

He left everything clean as a whistle.  He was calm, conscientious, detail-oriented.  I'm a shy person and he put me completely at ease (good vibes).  No forced, chatty banter to schmooze/charm (hate that), just clear focus on the task at hand.  And best of all, he charged me an ultra-reasonable price that I was delighted to pay.  I found myself a good, HONEST plumber, hooray!

Showed up on time as promised, knew his trade, went out of his way to help out with toilet issue that wasn't part of what the call was made for. Delivered what was expected at a reasonable price. I will definitely call on his service next plumbing need. I will also recommend him to anyone.

I recently moved to Big Bear and found out there was a broken water pipe in my backyard. I reached out to a few plumbing companies but decided to work with Brian at Drain Tech. He was professional, knowledgeable and very nice to work with. He fixed the water pipe quickly and knows his stuff.

Brian is hands downthe best plumber we have ever worked with. Start to finish the experience was very professional and the results are showing. We called him on Thursday, he comes out on Friday, at the scheduled time, and by Friday night, we have a written, detailed quote in our email - this is unheard of in Big Bear. The quote to remodel our bathroom and kitchen was very reasonable and he was very flexible with our schedule and adjusted to delays in the delivery of our walk-in bathtub easily. On top, Brian is a really nice guy, great to work with.

Brian was extremely professional and was quick to respond to the issue we had. We will only be using him moving forward at both of the cabins.

Brian was professional, showed up on the day promised, got the job down well and left no mess.  My cabin was left so clean, you'd never know he'd been there except that he installed two new toilets and fixed a leaky faucet. Brian told me the outside leaking hose bib was normal due to the distance the water had to travel before it could completely drain, so he was honest and said that leak didn't need fixing.  He used a hide-a key to enter my cabin and secured the property afterwards. Brian even came back to make sure the key was where he left it because my neighbor told me the key was not in its spot.  Being from out-of-town Brian's willingness to drive back and assure me the key was in its spot was peace of mind for me that he went out of his way to do. I highly recommend Drain Tech Plumbing located in Big Bear, CA.  He will do an outstanding job, leave no mess, and will not rip you off.  He has very competitive and fair pricing.

Brian handled our bathtub to shower conversion and replaced the portions of our pluming that were galvanized with new copper.  This was no small job, requiring him to jackhammer our concrete slab and get deep into the walls of the bathroom.  Everything was done in a timely manner,  looks and works great, and the project stayed on budget.

Professional, honest, did great work and even quickly came back out when I had another plumbing issue.  Highly recommended.

Gave details for a quote with flexible dates and received a response of I'm booked at this time? What an odd response maybe a better response with more dialogue is appropriate, company doesn't seem to want to earn any business.

Ive used Brian twice now and I highly recommend. He's very professional, quick, and an all around great plumber and good guy. He seems honest kind, reasonably priced and he cares about what he's doing. I would definitely recommend him and will hire him again.

Brian was awesome. Great guy to deal with. Very customer oriented. He went out to my house in less than an hour after we talked on the phone - on a Friday night. He ran the snake to clear the clogged sewer line. Very reasonable price.

Called them in a Saturday night at 5:30pm because my toilet and bathtub weren't draining. Brian came out within an hour and fixed us all up. I have only great things to say about Drain Tech and its owner Brian.  First, he's a super nice guy, incredibly responsive and a joy to work with.  Second, he does a top notch job in a time efficient manner.  Third, his prices are incredibly reasonable.  We had Brian do some gas line work at our cabin and it couldn't have gone smoother.  He's without a doubt, my go to plumber from now on.  Don't hesitate to call on him, you won't be disappointed.

We had to re-model a very dated bathroom and now it's STUNNING! Brian (Drain Tech) was very communicative, friendly, helpful, reliable, and went above and beyond what we asked. These are characteristics that are so important to me.
