I hired Maksim to install a NEMA 14-50 outlet right below my panel box. He came right on time and patiently listened to my inquiries about other possible locations for installation despite us having already agreed to the location prior to his arrival. We eventually stuck with the original plan. Maksim got to work and was finished within an hour from when he got there. Overall he was very professional and nice. I highly recommend Max electric for this type of installation.

Correctly diagnosed my issue over a description of what was happening. The solution ended up being very simple, but it saved me a bunch of trouble since i was about to schedule a paid appointment with another electrician.

Max was the best electrician I could have hoped for. I needed help diagnosing an electrical issue in my home, and Max came to the rescue. Some highlights:

1. Max was very responsive via Yelp and was able to check out my home's electrical issue within 24 hrs of my sending a request.

2. He was kind and very professional. He wore shoe coverings and was diligent about taking them on and off when he entered and exited my home--which he had to do several times to see what was going on. He communicated every step of the way as he was diagnosing the issue and walked me through how he was troubleshooting, which I appreciated very much!

3. He was thorough and clearly an expert.

Bottom line: Max inspires confidence, gets the job done quickly, is great to work with, and his services are priced fairly.

I was nervous about the cost and process to get a Tesla wall charger installed but Max answered all my questions and made this whole process super easy! He was done in a few hours and he left the area he did the installation very clean. I can now charge my Tesla at home and I get around 42 miles per hour! Super convenient and the price is great! Any electrician needs I have in the future will be through Max electric because of this experience.

Max was a true professional and expert in his field. Our ceiling fan needed to be re-wired and attached during a very hot day. Max came within 2 hours, and fixed our issue in under an hour. He had to take the fan completely apart to fix the wiring issue. I mentioned to Max that I also needed my sprinkler timer system looked at and next thing I know he quickly fixed that issue. I could not recommend Max more, very pleasant to work with.

We had some old halogen lightbulbs that were in a custom, under counter installation where the bulbs were embedded inside of a shelf and the wiring was behind the wall, behind some tiles. So it was a tricky situation and because they're halogen lights we needed to find an older style driver. I had tried working with an electrician who did a terrible job so I found Max on yelp and he was very responsive via email and text. We figured out the products that we needed and I ordered them, and then he showed up on time and got the job done quickly.

He had to change the plan around once he was here because the driver didn't work with the new LED bulbs that I bought, but he came up with a creative solution on the spot.

My washing machine stopped in the middle of a cycle so I tried to reset the breaker but I couldn't get it to work. I found this business on yelp so I called but no answer so I hung up. While I was freaking out wondering what to do next Max called me back. I asked if he could come today and he said yes. In the meantime he asked me all these questions and tried to walk me thru what to look for... and viola, I got the washing machine to work again! He was extremely patience and helpful during the call, and I am SOOOO grateful for that. I will definitely give him my business in the future.

I hired Max to work on replacing a few 3 way switches which I'd normally do myself if it weren't for the sketchy 100 year old non grounded knob and tube wiring in my old victorian which makes me nervous.

On a Friday evening, our refrigerator repeatedly tripped our circuit breaker, endangering all the food in our refrigerator and freezer. Max answered his phone promptly when we called even though it was outside business hours. He came first thing Saturday morning and fixed our problem (by replacing the circuit breaker) for a reasonable price. We are very happy to have found him and would use him again.

We have an old house with knob and tube wiring and very limited lighting in bedrooms. We hired Max to replace all of the knob and tube wiring in the attic and add modern recessed lighting and ceiling fans to all of our bedrooms. He put together a very comprehensive plan and estimate and we were able to schedule the work while my wife and kids were out of town. He and his two colleagues worked long hours over three days to complete the job, running into and solving many unforeseen challenges. He even coordinated with independent contractors doing our siding to replace some wiring while the siding was off, and making sure that the new bathroom exhaust fan vent was secured correctly into the new siding. The end result is fantastic--it feels like a new house. It's so much brighter and more functional, not to mention safer with the old wiring replaced. And the powerful ceiling fans make a big difference on a hot day given we have no AC. Max and his colleagues were friendly, communicative and professional throughout. We'll absolutely use them again--there's always more electrical work to be done in hundred-year-old houses. :)

I'm so happy that I was able to find Max Electric here on Yelp. I recently had bad luck finding an electrician to install my wall charger. The previous person bailed out and never showed up

Max, swiftly replied to my project request on Yelp. He was patient, courteous and respectful. He listened to my request and also used his expertise to what would be suitable to my home. Max showed up promptly with a smile and great attitude to my home and surveyed the scope of work before getting started.

His craftsmanship was very professional and detailed. He was also a quiet worker. It seems like he was done in no time because he was prepared.

Lastly when work was completed. Max asked me was I happy with the work and I said Oh yeah. Max also let me know if I ever had any questions or needed help in the future with my Tesla wall charger that he would be there for me.

I'll definitely go to Max Electric for all future electrical projects!

Max was fantastic! Showed up within hours of making the same-day appointment, and even texted me to say he could be early. Did the job (changing out a dimmer switch and rewiring a rocker switch) very easily. I'm glad I opted for an experienced professional instead of doing this myself - it would have taken me easily 3x longer and I would have gotten something wrong no doubt. Wreckless driver. Whoever was driving their van with plate number 24488U3 on Saturday July 8th, 2023, ran us off the road rather then let us merge as the road was ending and then sped off. If they drive like that- endangering lives, I can't imagine how that person does business.

I had searched around for electricians who could help me install my EV charger but had trouble finding someone who could give me an honest quote and set an appointment in a reasonable time. I got quotes from other electricians (for much higher prices) but couldn't even get responses in a timely manner to make an appointment.

Max, on the other hand, is very responsive and easy to communicate with. He also was able to give me an appointment right away (within an hour of contact) that worked around my schedule.

When he arrived, I showed him my setup, and he went straight to work. He is diligent, respectful, hard-working, and organized. After the work was completed, he cleaned up the area even though I said I would sweep up since I had needed to give my garage a good sweep anyway. But he insisted that he clean up after himself. He even helped me take the charger box to the trash. I realized after he left that I needed the quickstart guide inside the box and called Max right away to save it for me. Max took time out of another day to bring it back to me. (Note to those installing Tesla Wall Connector Gen 3, make sure to take the quickstart guide out of the box so you can commission your charger. There are QR codes and passwords on there that you will need.)

If you're looking for an honest and professional electrician, give Max a call!

I was the driver mentioned in the other review of the vehicle who got ran off the road. Im a veteran specifically who drove in deployment, this wasn't exactly a good moment for my ptsd. It was a long normal merging lane in north bay. This company driver could not be bothered to not ride a tesla's rear for more than a foot, the tesla was clearly speeding to get the vehicle off from riding them, but combined with this driver meant I got boxed in. I tried to call the driver's attention and honked, he couldn't be afforded the chance to look away from his drink to acknowledge we existed. He wS more concerned about getting to the highway to fly over the speed limit. There is a lot of bad drivers, but if I was an older or more incapable person this driver would have endangered me. Probably has endangered others. If you call this worker out to a job site you are potentially risking people and not knowing it..

Would highly recommend Max to anyone looking for electrical work around the house. He did a bunch of work around my house:

- Installed transfer switch for a portable generator
- Installed/relocated multiple electrical outlets (regular and GFCI) inside and outside the house
- Replaced recessed lights in 2 rooms

Max was astonishingly fast with his response to the request for an estimate. He then came out, with an assistant - Roman - just 48 hours later and installed nine recessed floodlights and three spotlights in our living room. He did the entire job perfectly, and cleaned up after everything, in just 7 hours - including a lunch break! His price was incredibly reasonable as well. I have already recommended him to the interior designer who recommended we install the recessed lights in the first place. Max will be my first phone call when we finally bite the bullet and buy an electric car that requires a charging station to be set up in our garage!

Max quickly diagnosed the reason for lack of power to an outdoor outlet. He then just as quickly found a way to fix a problem I had been avoiding for years because other electricians had said it would be very expensive and disruptive to fix. Max did some calculations, figured out a way to take enough load off a circuit breaker that often tripped, and came up with a clever way to install the new circuit and breaker without breaking through any walls. The whole job took less than 2 hours and cost only $200! I was very impressed and pleased with the work. Plus Max is a nice guy who communicates well.
