Bedr was competent, reliable and reasonable. He gave me an estimate for my faucet replacement plus light  switch repair just before the holiday weekend and scheduled and completed the job within the week. There are not that many handymen who can do both types of repairs but he handled both ably. I was also impressed that he coordinated with me beforehand and had all the replacement parts he needed. It truly was hassle-free and was greatly appreciated in the middle of a busy work week! He also gave me useful advice about how to handle a couple of other pesky old house problems.

Wow what can I say -- beat service ever!!! Anthony came to San Jose all the way from San Francisco at 1030 PM -- he put up the tv perfectly and with precision -- super nice guy, very friendly and easy going. The cable wasn't working so I called Comcast and he stayed with me the entire time I was on the phone with them-- in fact be talked to them about getting a tech out the next day and giving me a credit on my bill, he left past midnight after he did everything he could to help me --it was wonderful and a great experience!! I HIGHLY recommend

Wesley is everything you would hope to find in an electrician. He's responsive, prompt, attentive and very capable.

When we realized that a light fixture replacement was going to be a bit more intensive and require cutting into the ceiling, repatching and repainting, he suggested an alternative route that was faster and far less expensive.

His rates are reasonable and he's the kind of guy that you don't mind if he spends a bit of extra time, because he's so nice.

I had used Half Moon Bay Electric may years ago to install a plug in my backyard for a hot tub. Bill came out to take care of the call. What a great guy! We joked and laughed the whole time! Charge was very reasonable.
So, when I had an old lamp that I thought I could rewire... (boy, was I wrong) and I had already pulled the old wire. Turns out it had tubing inside the stem that kept catching my new wire... needless to say, I became frustrated. So I took it in to Kristy at their shop on Main St. She told me it wouldn't be a problem and had it fixed for me later that afternoon. It works great! I'm very pleased.
I also wanted to mention how beautiful the shop was. So many amazing lamps and accessories. I always love how dressed up the window displays are, especially during the holiday season! Definite flair!
While I was there, I discussed new lighting for my kitchen. I told Kristy what styles I was interested in... she showed me a couple in the shop and then proceeded to show me many options and styles, she knew those catalogs like the back of her hand.  I was truely impressed! She explained pro and cons of certain styles. It was an extremely educational experience!  
I would truely recommend going to Kristy if you want to speak with someone with loads knowledge.

They installed recessed lighting in my home.  They took longer than quoted and tried to charge me for time spent going to supply store to get the supplies they forgot to bring and time they took for lunch breaks.  Aside from that, the outcome turned out nice.

James is very passionate about his work. He analyses and nails down the issue.  He helped me to install a swing hardware in my living room beam. This was a breeze for him and did not charge me a penny.

Once again Brett at Lights Out is a customers dream and does not disappoint. He is honest, professional, does the electrical task at hand quickly, and comes prepared. I have used Brett twice and have referred him a few times. The referrals were pleased and completely satisfied as well. I will certainly be calling Lights Out again the next time I need an electrician.

Isaias from Ike's Electric came to fix a wiring problem that surfaced when we tried to install a new ceiling lamp. He returned our call promptly and was there an hour later, quickly diagnosed the problem, corrected the wiring, and installed the lamp all within just about 45 minutes.  He was very professional and curteous and very reasonably priced.  I highly recommend him.

Nice guys and very knowledgable. Our job ended up being more complicated than they expected because an old house always holds surprises. But they stuck with their estimate and we felt they gave us a great price for the project.

This review should be taken with a grain of salt because I didn't have any actual electrical work done, but I had a phenomenally helpful phone call.  I'm looking at buying a house, but it needs some old electrical equipment replaced.  The seller tried to convince me it's going to cost $5000, but Allen (at Pierce Electric) gave me a lot of very helpful information and explained that to make the house safe from electrical fires will be much more expensive.  The one phone call I made to Pierce Electric may well have just saved me from $20,000 in expenses and months of legal battles after I bought my house.

This is our second time using TEK and we're still very satisfied. Keith came out for a free estimation on installing a 240v box and made the time to do the installation the same day. He was thorough, responsive, quick, and made sure we were satisfied before leaving. They're certified and licensed and guarantee their work. Highly recommend.

Arturo was very professional and polite. When something didn't work out - the part didn't fit, he didn't charge me. Good guy!

So, Mr. Hoffman was a no call and no show for our appointment, so I proceeded to call his wife (secretary). She apologized for the crazy day they had...no problem, whatever, life happens. So I reschedule for 8 am the next morning, which I'm assuming was his first appointment of the day. He showed up at 8:30. Not off to a great start here. The work he put in, in the hour we had scheduled, was thorough. He told us what else we needed, and that he would write up a quote for us, so that we can move forward and complete the work at another time. This never happened. No email or phone call. I called them to check in, to make sure they had my email, and again, no response.
The bottom line...UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

Always something magical in here!  yury is definitely the man-  he has beautiful things and he always outfits me with something perfect for my needs!  It's a small shop with many treasures, this is no Home Depot!

I can't speak highly enough about Mike. I needed to have some laminate floor replaced which was a small patch in the middle of my hallway. I called a handful of flooring companies as well as Handymen and either they never called me back or suggested terrible options for repairing the patch. Mike responded very quickly and although we had some scheduling issues on my end, he was very accommodating to fit my schedule. Most importantly, he did an amazing job on my laminate floors, better than I ever expected to come out. I will certainly be calling Mike in the future for more help, you should too!

I had been having trouble getting electricians to show up to fix our attic fan. ED Electric staff made an appointment for me right away, and the technician showed up early, was knowledgeable, diagnosed the problem right away, and fixed it at a reasonable cost. He's now on my Rolodex for electricians to call in the future.

Jesus was responsive, quick and efficient!  Will be calling him again.
