Awesome experience.  Received a call back within a day, scheduled the estimate for the next day.  Carlos was able to do the work just a little over a week later.  He replaced the 'builder issue' florescent tube lighting in my laundry room with LED recessed lights.  I love them!  He arrived on time and quickly had the work done no mess no fuss.

Brock and his sons installed an outdoor outlet for me along with four ceiling lights in my home.   They were extremely professional - arrived on time, were friendly and knowledgeable, and were respectful of my home - were careful not to damage anything and cleaned up before they left.  Brock quoted me a price per job and explained he does not charge by the hour.   This worked out great because two of the lights they installed needed lightbulbs and one of the pendant lights arrived broken.  So Brock purchased the bulbs and exchanged the pendant light for me without additional cost. I really appreciate not being nickel-and-dimed.  I'm so impressed by the job that they did that I've asked them to return to install a chandelier later this week.  I highly recommend La Costa Electric.

lights in 3 rooms on the second floor of my house started to flicker 2-3 weeks ago, and it becomes more and more frequent.  I called 3 electric companies with best reviews on Yelp: Hi Power was the first to return my call, and it was within 30 minutes.  Sheen was professional and polite over the phone, and was able to set me up for the same-day appointment. (The other company called me back in about one hour but they were all booked, and the third one never returned my call.)
George & Alex showed up on time, quickly diagnosed the problem and found out that the old circuit breakers caused the flickering.  Based on safety concerns, they recommended to replace all circuit breakers, but they gave me options whether to replace one or replace all.  I decided to replace all circuit breakers.  They got the job done quickly, tested all circuits after the job, and checked again thorough inside the house.  Lights no longer flicker!  I'd definitely call them again should I need electrical work.

Eric is great! I needed a 240v, breaker and level 2 charger installed and found Power on Electric on yelp. He was very responsive and got me in immediately. I'd use them all over again.

Zapp came out to fix a small electric problem, it was fixed in 15 min.  Since they charge a min. of one hour, A.J. spent the rest of the hour fixing old outside wires, checking plugs and other things.  I was very impressed with this honest, hardworking business and would reccommend them to everyone.  There the Best

Robert was awesome! Called a few places and he had great pricing and accommodated our late schedule.  He was very responsive, polite, and did an amazing job taking down 3 of our old fans and installing new ones.  They work great!!

John came to our house and quickly resolved a problem that had befuddled three prior electricians who were unable to fix the problem.  No BS with this guy - he is the real deal!!  He did a great job and charged a reasonable rate.  I will call him again.

I had Ace Electric come out to install two pendant lights and an outdoor fan/light. I was really pleased with the service and professionalism of Mike who came out and expertly finished the job as they promised. Let's face it, most people are afraid to even hire any contractor because a lot of them overpromise and underperform (or don't show up etc.). Mike is a very knowledgeable electrician. He went to school to learn how to become an electrician. He knows his trade and he knows how to do it - he didn't just pick this up overnight.  This years of experience is what you get when you hire Ace Electric. I know a lot of people that just want to hire some unlicensed electrician and then are angry and upset when they fail to do the job or halfway try to do a job they are unqualified to do.  As someone who has had really bad contractor experiences, I can only say that if you hire Ace you will get a quality, licensed, professional electrician that will do an honest job. It doesn't get any better than that!  I would definitely use Ace Electric again and I am also recommending them to my dad who needs some electrical work.

I hired Carlos based on his quick response and what seemed a reasonable estimate (below the average quote I got elsewhere). After 4 hours, he was unable to return power to my apartment. I paid cash and he has not answered multiple attempts at getting a receipt from
him.
