Jeff is awesome to work with. He is super punctual, honest, transparent- great experience. I've gone through a few electricians trying to find some honest, fair work. Finally found Jeff and really happy with the work. He listened to our needs and came up with better solutions to save us a ton of money and yield even better results. Highly recommend.

We highly recommend these guys! After being ghosted by an electrician that we had used in the past, I did a Yelp search and found these guys. I'm so glad I did. Craig and Shane were able to see us within 24 hours and help us out.

We just moved into our new spot and needed some electrical work done. They helped us add a plug for an electric car and had to run cables from one side of house to the other, which was no small task. We also had an issue with the kitchen breaker that they were able to fix for us.  

Something that really stood out with them is how quick and communicative they were throughout the whole process. We will definitely be using these guys again!

I called Jimmy with Spark it Up Electric and he was very responsive and helpful! He was able to come by that day to check out my faulty outlet and fixed it on the spot!  He is fast and efficient and I felt safe with him in my home. I also had him install a ceiling fan, which is awesome! Great priced and reliable too! I would definitely hire him again!!!

Our old solar inverter blew and not being the original owners we knew nothing about the system. Every company I contacted either wouldn't help or wanted to sell me a new system. I was referred to Mark from the manufacturer of our inverter. Mark was fast to respond and worked with me to figure out what our system was. It turns out the type of solar system we had is no longer common and tracking down a new inverter was difficult. Mark went above and beyond and did all the work to find one for us. One of his guys came out and installed it in a few hours and we are back to running on solar. I can't recommend Mark enough, without him we would probably have had to install a whole new system.

Wow!!! Called him late Friday to install a 50 amp plug for my trailer at my house and he was out there quickly to install it. the install looks natural to the house and left no mess behind. Thank you very much and will definitely refer you to all my friends and family!!!

I called on Friday mid-day about a slow shower drain that would back up before a shower was complete.  They were all booked up for Saturday but found a way to fit me in.  Jim came out and snaked out the shower drain.  The clog remained.  He then went to the bath tub that abuts the shower and snaked that drain.  After manipulating the snake for about 5 minutes, he was able to break through the clog of hair.  Jim was very professional and even slipped cloth boots over his shoes each time he entered the house.  Jim also gave me some tips on how to keep hair out of the drain including a screen and a snap-on drain cover to facilitate cleaning.  He didn't have the size I needed on his truck so I went over to Ideal's location at 5161 Waring Road to purchase these.  The gentleman who waited on me was very knowledgable, helpful and patient.  I couldn't be more pleased with Ideal Plumbing.  Thanks!

Alfredo from Brilliant Electric did an amazing job at our home. He was so respectful and informative about all the details of everything that he was doing and the work that he did at our home today is beautiful. My dining room light fixture was not working along with my two outdoor lights. I called ZED Electric in the morning on Friday, 1/2/14 and she said it would probably be Monday or Tuesday before someone could come out, which was fine with me. She took down my number and said she'd call me as soon as there was availability.

She called that afternoon around 2 and I was home. She sent over the electrician, who was super cool. I told him I wanted to fix the fixtures, as opposed to replacing.

The dining room - he took the fixture off and noticed the wires were taped up. He removed the tape and put wire nuts on the ends and  my light worked! Woo hoo!

The first outdoor light - He took the fixture off and noticed right away that the wiring was jacked up. He fiddled with the wiring and got it to work.

The second outdoor light - The fixture was old and he said it had a halogen bulb that was energy inefficient. He had an extra outdoor light that was really basic and he installed that for me. It was only $5.

So, to fix all 3 lights was exactly 1 hour which was $135 plus the outside light fixture, which was $5.

Overall, I highly recommend Zed Electric. Very professional, efficient service.

Did high quality work at a fair price (minor electrical work and a new ceiling fan install). Quick and easy to schedule. I highly recommend.

I had a large crack in my undermount clay kitchen sink. It's been there for a year and I really wanted to replace the sink. However. The sink was custom installed by the previous owners, and it was going to be a very challenging removal and install. I was concerned that it could be a messy job.
Darell responded to my Yelp request.
1.  He's very punctual and very responsive.
2.  He's very courteous and professional.
3.  He did a great job!  Old sink is out, new sink is in and it looks great. I couldn't be more pleased. Highly recommended.

Funky issues with some wiring, all sorted out. John was a pleasure to work with and exactly the type of help I was hoping to get. He was extremely clear and straightforward, fixed my issue (which I was missing sleep over), went the extra mile to take care of some additional clean up items (my wife is happy) and is now my permanent go-to for electric work. I'm so glad that we contacted Kelley!  I would not hesitate to recommend her.  She is hard-working, prompt, respectful, is clear in her communication and does great work!  We have had her complete a number of projects on our home twice.  Her rates are reasonable, and had we known just how reasonable some of the projects were, we would have had her long before now!  Call or email Kelley, you will be glad you did.

Hands down the best electrician in San Diego. I have never met a more selfless person. Jay went above and beyond to help me out during a stressful kitchen renovation. I have a house that was built in the 50s and had several updates that were clearly done by a less than skilled handyman. Nonetheless Jay took on the task and had the whole kitchen rewired and even upgraded the lighting. He singlehandedly saved the renovation without him I would have been dead in the water. He even came back to knock out some other issues that popped up. Definitely is my go to guy. More than just an electrician to me and my family.

I'm no expert but I know a thing or two about (basic) wiring. Tried my hand at ceiling fans this weekend and ran into a snag on the last one. As a do-it-yourselfer I swallowed my pride and made the call to see how much the damage would be to have someone do it for me. Most of the work was done and he (I'm sorry I didn't catch his name) gave me a fair price to come finish up. But as we talked he understood what it was I needed to do and TALKED ME THROUGH IT!! I can't imagine many companies taking the time to explain wiring over the phone when the option to just show up and do it for you-charging and arm and a leg meanwhile- is there. I'm very pleased with the customer support and without a doubt, I now have an electrician go to. Thank you so much for your help! I would've spent hours in my attic scratching my head trying to figure out what I was doing wrong!!
