Al is by far the best plumber I've had the pleasure of working with.  With 20 years in the real estate business, and having worked with countless plumbers over the years, I feel confident in recommending him to all my clients.

It's been a year since Al came to convert our galvanize pipes to copper and no leaks or other problems.  He was down to earth, efficient and clean.  Would definitely use him again.  Thanks Al.

I was referred to Al Richards Plumbing by another tradesman.  He came out quickly, diagnosed our problem, and indicated we needed to replace our recirculating pump for about $600.  I said OK, let's do it.  When he came back to replace the pump, he discovered that the pump was actually OK, and that the problem was less complicated.  Al was totally honest, fixed the problem, and did not charge us for an unnecessary repair.  Instead of $600, the repair was less than $300.  What a guy!  He deserves at least 5 stars!  Thanks...

Al worked on our Noritz tankless water heater several years ago and was great.  Today we had a problem with the cylinder that holds the scale shield.  I called after hours and left a message.  He called me back right away and had the part we needed. He let me pick it up since  he lived close and did not charge me for the part.  He had a suggestion to avoid the common problem and will let me know when it is ready for install.  Very nice man to do business with and I highly recommend

My Noritz Tankless water heater had a leak and found out it was the heat exchanger.  Luckly the part was covered under the original warranty (10 Year for heat exchangers part only).  I guess that is a common part that fails.  Anyway, Noritz referred me to ARP to take care of the problem.  Al from ARP needed to pretty much take the entire system apart which freaked me out.  It had so many wires and parts that I was not sure if anybody could put that mess back together.  Why would any manufactor make it so hard to replace a core piece.  Regardless, Al took his time to get it back together and even used a hotline with Noritz to help him with some concerns with the wiring.  Bottom-line, Al got it done and everything is working great.  I would highly recommend using Al for any issue with your tankless water heater.  Obviously, he does all plumbing and would use him again and again for future needs.  He was very reasonable for what needed to get done.  Outstanding and honest guy which is not easy to find when doing plumbing work.  I will use him again in the future.

Also, I needed a video scope done on my sewer line and since Al does not do that type of work he referred me to Harry Kartinen who specialist in sewers and Harry did an awesome job as well.  Al once again took care of me.

Love to support local businesses.  Al came to our house free of charge for an estimate whereas another plumber charged us $150 and a $3200 quote to replace a broken tankless waterheater.  Al was very honest and quoted us $1000 less than the other plumber.  He also recommended a higher end water heater model than the other plumber.  He came in and replaced the water heater in 1/2 day.  He did such a good job, I don't want to knock him for leaving a mess.  For saving a $1000 I will gladly pick up the boxes and old water heater he left in the back yard.  If you're looking for a very  neat and clean job, he may not be your plumber, but if you want the job done right and for a fair price, call AL!

There's always that person who unfortunately doesn't get the same 5 star experience. Al did an inspection for plumbing leak and made a very reasonable quote, which made it seam like a simple fix. The inspection cost $150. When wanting to move forward with the job, he stopped responding. When getting inspections from 3 other plumbers (who did not charge me) it was clear that Al down played the problem we have. I would not recommend him to do your plumbing inspection because he charges you when many others don't, and he is not responsive.

Al was awesome and found the source of our leak quickly and efficiently when other companies could not. He also fixed the problem quickly and his prices were much more reasonable than the other two quotes we received. We definitely recommend Al's services!
