Mr. Harris is amazing!  I messaged him through Yelp! for a fan install and he answered me promptly and scheduled with me immediately. He was curtious and on time, and finished the install and assembly for me in a matter of minutes!  Hands down, one of the most pleasant and stress free business interactions I've ever had with a contractor.

On time, professional, highly-skilled, proactive and frequent communication.  The absolute best!  This is the only electrician we would use in Orange County.

Just had a consultation with Jeff (owner) to discuss my project requiring electrical work.  So far I am very impressed. Very nice person and easy going but also very professional!!!  He was in no hurry to rush off to other things. Instead, Jeff gave me the time needed to discuss my project and the electrical needs. Excellent!

Where we are at present:  Jeff has taken photos and all the details and looked at power demands in the house and also in my garage/hobby workshop and is going to sit down and consider several alternatives and then we'll meet again to discuss.  

I realize this sounds like how it is always done and to some extent true. HOWEVER, Jeff seems genuinely interested in the objectives of my project (can relate well) and the feeling is different than I've gotten from other folks whom I've dealt with in the past when it comes to estimates.  I am eager to see how this all unfolds. One way or another I will update this review when I have more useful information to share with potential customers of City Electric Works!

Great communication and professionalism! I contacted several electricians but Marco and his team were the most responsive and knowledgeable about what was needed for my repair. They set up the clearance, permit and inspection and provided emergency repairs to restore my hot water while waiting for the full panel upgrade to be approved. Very caring and professional business! Highly recommend!

We suddenly lost power to several outlets in our home and needed quick response.    From my initial call right up through the successful repair today of our myriad electrical problems, we were 100% pleased and grateful that we went with this unknown company based solely on the excellent Yelp reviews.   Communication was clear, they were extremely responsive, they arrived on time and worked quickly, their prices were very fair, and (sorry, but this is important to me) they genuinely made us feel like they enjoyed helping us.   Reese, Carl and his team explained everything clearly without dumbing it down (well, I suppose they probably did have to dumb it down - but they didn't make me feel dumb) and it was clear that they had an understanding of the electrical problem(s) as well as an extensive knowledge of the various options to fix them.   Will most definitely call them for future needs.

Great work and fair price. Eduardo made sure everything was up and working. He was very friendly and thorough with the job. The project was to install extra outlets and recessed lighting in my garage. After the work he left the area spotless. Will do business again!

Been with Time Warner for about 4 years but finally fed up of old clunky malfunctioning
equipment.
    My neighbor suggested Directv so I did my research and found this local dealer Synchronized Home Solutions in North County. The fact that I talked to the owner when I called ,the great reviews for them here on yelp and
that they where a local company where huge pluses.
     The fact that they do free in home consultations blew me away! When Zach came to my house he looked at the wiring, gave me 3 options where the dish could be mounted and went over Directvs capabilities and gave me the pricing for year on and 2.
      I travel a lot for work so the fact that I can watch Ditectv and even my recorded shows from the DVR on the road when I am sitting at an airport terminal is the icing on the cake. He did not charge me a penny and said that Directv was paying him , how neat.
I was a bit worried about how the dish would look on my roof, mu neighbors directv sticks out a few fee and is pretty visible.
      The way the SHS tech installed it the dish is as low to the roof as possible and not visible at all from the front of my house. They also accommodated my request that no cable would be visible and ran the wire through a vent into my attic.
      I feel bad for all the folks on the directv corporate yelp page who seem to got the raw end of the stick and glad I went through a local dealer.

Jim did an amazing job both restoring our antique fixtures and also re-creating additional fixtures inside and outside for our 1929 Requa historic home. 6 years later, the fixtures are pristine and it is one of the things we get the most compliments on about our home. Would highly recommend!

Tim charged me to come out and give an estimate on a Friday. $148 to be exact. I was given a quote for  $300 to fish a wire a few feet to the garbage disposal outlet/switch and one other outlet less than 2 feet away. I was desperate and tired of the problem so I gave him the go ahead. Plus who wants to pay $150 for a troubleshoot and estimate? He had to punch a hole in the wall to fish the wire over, which I asked him not to do. He then proceeded to tell me that in order to get power to my above-the-stove microwave, he'd have to run a dedicated line and tear up my (freshly painted) walls and ceiling, then gave me quote of  $900. I had previously had another electrician come out (free estimate) who said the same thing, only  he wouldn't tear up my walls and it would only cost $250 (DON'T TELL HIM WHAT ANYONE ELSE TELLS YOU, HE WILL EXPLOIT IT). I politely declined and paid him $450 to fish some wire to a few outlets. Total rip off.  

The next day I had Robert's Electric come out for an estimate. They also charge about $150 to troubleshoot and estimate. They fished the wire to my above-the-stove microwave outlet from an outlet he had fished power to the previous day for only $100 (so basically he could have just run the wire up to the other outlet a couple feet away). Problem solved.

Later that next day, I look under my sink and notice that there are wet paper towels in there where Tim had been working. Water is dripping from the hot water valve, all over my brand new cabinets and flooring. He must have noticed it was wet because he used the paper towels to clean it up! Only, he failed to mention it to me.

Another thing, he broke the (freshly painted) wall around every outlet/switch that he worked on and had to use spackle to fix it, and did so very haphazardly. You're an electrician and you cannot remove and replace a face plate without damaging walls?

Do yourself a favor, go to someone else. I wonder if those other reviews are even real.

Fast Eddy has always been the man when it comes to get the out of norm or discontinued stuff. Scott was the man behind the counter and guy to deal with daily. Great place and people. And they know their sh^t.

Great service! So happy with the work Oscar did. We where having problems with  an outlet and the breaker box, he was able to solve the issue fast :). He was friendly and professional!  I will definitely have Oscar come back if I have any  electrical issues.

we found Jarrod on yelp and hired him to replace all of our bathroom and bedroom lighting fixtures.  he was professional, reasonably priced and was able to complete a long list of random electrical issues leftover from a home remodel.  couldn't ask for a better experience.  highly recommend.

Randy's experience really comes through when troubleshooting electrical issues.  He knows what he's doing, is very professional, offers fair rates and does outstanding work.

I am very happy with the install of the EV charger in my garage.  This included a NEMA 14-50 socket and a 50 amp circuit expansion about 9 ft away from my electrical panel.  Mauricio was friendly, accommodating and extremely knowledgeable.  He was able to walk me through all the possible options and explain everything in simple terms.  The work was completed quickly and looks very professional.  Highly recommended!

John is a wonderful and reliable electrician, not to mention a great guy.  He has been installing canned lights in my house on an installment basis since January.  The first time I used John, he came out right away and charged me a very nominal amount to help source out the problem with my Christmas lights.  After meeting him, I knew he would be a great choice for installing my canned lights, and he has been steadily working on doing so on a room-by-room basis.  John always quickly returns my calls and texts, and confirms our appointment before coming over.  He is very punctual.  I highly recommend John for your electrical needs.

Holy cow, were we impressed!  We needed an electrical outlet moved and Daniel far exceeded our expectations.  He arrived on time with foot covers for his shoes and took the time to talk through the job to get the proper Definition of Done.  Daniel proceeded to put down a tarp around the work area.  In no time the outlet was moved, the wall was patched and Daniel was vacuuming the work area.  The end result was exactly what was promised.

To get this high quality of work with such a high level of service made this job worth every single penny.

Rescheduled original appt at the last minute, which would have been fine. But then didn't show up to the rescheduled appt the next day. I messaged him on yelp after he was 10 min late to be sure he was coming and by the time he was 45 minutes late I still hadn't heard a single word from him. I stayed home from work and wasted my morning for nothing. Punctuality and communication are critical to me. I'd recommend anyone else.

I called this company to inquire if they were interested in doing a very small job which was replacing one exterior light fixture.  They said yes and asked me to send a picture of the current light fixture so they could see what I wanted.  I did that on 10/11/17.  I sent a follow up email on 10/30/17. As of this date, I have received no response.  If they decided they don't want to do the job, would it really be that difficult for them to step up and say so?  I'm also going to report this result to the place that referred them.  Now it's a month later and I have to start from scratch.  They must have all the business they need because they won't get mine or anyone else who asks me about them.  Inappropriate, unprofessional, and just downright unbelieiveable!
