Best Electricians in California

Looking for an electrician is like going to the dentist: you know you're going to hate it, but it's still something you have to do. Unless you can perform your own dentistry.
Calling around countless electricians and having them come to the house for an estimate, upon meeting Joe I found him to be no nonsense and laid back. I was needing quite a bit of work done and some of it was a little more intensive, but at no point did I ever get the impression that any part of the work would stump him. He even added some suggestions of his own that made sense. His prices were competitive, he and his partner worked quickly, and the finished product was flawless. He will definitely be my go to guy for future electrical work. Like right now... I'm about to set up another appointment.

Called in and she took several mins over the phone and took down all my info to let me know there is a charge of fourth some dollars for them to come in and evaluate the project. That should have been said before taking down all my info. Other companies do the same thing free of charge, now I know why you guys didn't provide a quote and Yelp. I don't appreciate your business taking my information.

I'm a commercial property manager, and I've been working with City Electric Works for a few years now. I'm repeatedly impressed with the level of professionalism and service that we receive from Jeff and his team.

I often bid out electrical jobs from exterior lighting to tenant improvements- especially in this economy, to make sure I'm not getting gouged. This company almost always comes in at the lowest rate, with the shortest lead time on getting things done. There have even been a few times where they've even found less expensive ways to fix problems and save us money. I think they are able to undercut other larger firms because are a small operation without a ton of overhead.

I'm a manager, not  contractor, so I have to rely on these types of contractors to explain to me in layman's terms what's going on so I can make a good decision for the property owner. Jeff and his guys are always willing to take the time to make sure we understand what they found during their investigation and what needs to be done to make things right.

It's vital that any vendor I send onto a property exhibits respect and courtesy to my tenants, and I have gotten nothing but positive feedback after sending these guys out to take care of things. That's rare, since most tenants have at least something to whine about when work needs to be performed in or around their space.

I have to tell everyone about these guys. My first installation was a Ring Flood Light on the side of my house. They did a super professional installation at a good rate. The installer never had to bring the power down and spend a fair amount of time to ensure the picture and camera angle was just right. Fast forward a few weeks...I had Inception Electric come out and run CAT 6 network cable throughout my house, add conduit to my garage, cut wall plates for the wires and run wires through the walls. Once again these guys came out and laid paper throughout the house, wore shoe coverings, and were very professional. The job was done that day and was done exactly as I wanted it. Great company that I will use for all my electric and wiring needs in the future!!!

Extremely impressed with these guys! You always get a little nervous when hiring a contractor due to horror stories and not knowing what you're going to get. I chose these guys based on having a verified certification and the amount a reviews they had (Rancho Santa Margarita location) while still having 5 stars which is also impressive. As mentioned on the other reviews, I was WOWED from the initial phone call and it didn't stop there. Tom Sheltraw showed up to my house and they obviously knew what they were doing but more than just knowing what to do... Tom went above and beyond to be thorough and to listen to our needs. He even took the time to inspect the house and offer recommendations to make sure our home was baby safe for our 2 year and new little one that we are expecting in a couple months. He was also punctual and provided updates on his expected arrival time and was able to squeeze us in on a same day appointment. We had an unusual problem with our electrical where our entire living room was losing power. Tom was able to troubleshoot and locate the problem and have it resolved in less than hour and be dead on with the initial estimate he provided me. Extremely happy with their services and will be using them for all future work as well as send them referrals

He was available and we had a problem. Our electrical outlets and lights in our master bedroom were flickering on and off. Since we live in an older condo, was worried we might have a short, bad wiring, or a breaker on the fritz. He showed up right on time.  He was a very nice person. But 4 hours later, our ceiling fan and lights were no longer working and a switched outlet was now working from a different switch than before. He was apologetic but things had gotten worse not better. He didn't charge me and promised to come back to fix the issues but we never heard back. 3e may be great for ceiling fans and new outlets but a hard fail on troubleshooting. At least for our condo!

We recently moved to the Rancho Bernardo area where att was not available.
Were no fans  of Time Warner so we decided to give Directv a shot.
We tried to sign up calling their heavily advertised 800 number and got totally turned off.
They where not forthcoming with the pricing after the initial introductory offer expires,
didn't seem to know much about wiring requirements and we were put on hold a bunch of times to get the information we needed.
I heard horror stories about the customer service aspect of Directv and trying to sign up just confirmed that.
Eventually we decided to give a local dealer a call who was highly recommended to us by a neighbor. What a difference! We felt well taken care of from start to finish,they came to our home went over mounting options where the antenna could be placed so it would be the least visible, went over pricing for year one , two and three.
They even took a look at our wiring and said they would rewire some of the line for free since it was not up to date. They did not pressure us at all just said to call if we decided to go with them.
We signed up right then and there and got installed the next day.  We couldn't be happier with our tv and the customer service from Synchronized Home Solutions.
We have the owners and the lead technicians cell  number and they always pick up the phone or get right back to us.
Once we messed something up with our input and their tech was there a few hours later to take care of the issue at no cost.
We highly recommend those guys.

What a gracious man. I had a repair needed that was fairly simple, if you know what you're doing. He took care of it in about five minutes and then said, No charge.

I at least owe him a glowing Yelp endorsement.

I'm an online IT Technician and my power keeps shorting out due to overloading. My job recommended this place. They are a little on the pricey side, but did a good job of repairing my overloaded circuits. Now I don't have to worry about losing work because everything sporadically shuts off. They arrived on time, did the job over the course of a couple of days and viola. I am extremely happy I can put this behind me.

Don was great. Came out on short notice and did a quick job. Prices are very reasonable. I will definitely be calling them if I ever have a future need!

we found Jarrod on yelp and hired him to replace all of our bathroom and bedroom lighting fixtures.  he was professional, reasonably priced and was able to complete a long list of random electrical issues leftover from a home remodel.  couldn't ask for a better experience.  highly recommend.

I couldn't be more pleased with the service and professionalism of Goodman Electric.   The office manager (Alecia) and the electrician (Randy Goodman) were good communicators, went out of their way to work around my schedule and did exactly why they said they would do, for the price they said it would be done.  

Randy installed a 220v dedicated line for my spa.   His quote was in the middle of the three quotes I received, but the attention to detail and the way he said the line would be installed was better than the other two quotes.   Randy said he would run the conduit through my garage and hide the line as much as possible and ensure that the junction box was at least 5 feet away from my spa (per code).   The other companies that quotes said they would run the line on the outside of my house and didn't seem to care as much about esthetics or safety.  

Randy worked quickly, showed up early for the job and was very friendly.    Highly recommend.

My bathroom vent fan quit working and less than 24hrs later Mauricio was at my house fixing it on his off time. That is the best customer service I've ever received.  Pricing was good, communication was awesome and clear, and the finished project was perfect. Highly recommend!

I had an old main breaker lose a leg of power last week so I called John.  He came over within an hour, assessed the issue and fixed it perfectly the next morning with new parts. He was very professional and friendly, got the work done and his rates were very reasonable.  I highly recommend Baratelli Electric!

Daniel did a knockout job on my Infratech heater installation in our California room. His bid was slightly lower than others and everything looks great.

Rescheduled original appt at the last minute, which would have been fine. But then didn't show up to the rescheduled appt the next day. I messaged him on yelp after he was 10 min late to be sure he was coming and by the time he was 45 minutes late I still hadn't heard a single word from him. I stayed home from work and wasted my morning for nothing. Punctuality and communication are critical to me. I'd recommend anyone else.

I called this company to inquire if they were interested in doing a very small job which was replacing one exterior light fixture.  They said yes and asked me to send a picture of the current light fixture so they could see what I wanted.  I did that on 10/11/17.  I sent a follow up email on 10/30/17. As of this date, I have received no response.  If they decided they don't want to do the job, would it really be that difficult for them to step up and say so?  I'm also going to report this result to the place that referred them.  Now it's a month later and I have to start from scratch.  They must have all the business they need because they won't get mine or anyone else who asks me about them.  Inappropriate, unprofessional, and just downright unbelieiveable!
