HISTORY
Established in 2009.
Harris electric was established in 2009 by Joe Harris. We service all varieties of customers, from home owners to property managers, to real estate investors, to contractors and subtractors. There isn't much that we haven't been able to fix or install that requires electricity.
ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER
Born and raised in San Diego, CA. I've been a electrician for 15 years, ten of those have been as a licensed electrical contractor. Prior to starting my own business I fine tuned my skills by working in many different niches of the electrical trade from residential remodels, additions and custom homes to commercial t.i.’s, restaurant remodels and new construction.

The best! If you are looking for an electrician, I highly recommend Harris Electric. They are an honest, hard working company led by a true industry expert. The owner Joe Harris is fair with his pricing and does excellent work. He has done many projects on my home and all have come out great. Recently, he helped me with an almost complete rewiring that was needed for an AC instal. It was a legacy system that needed replacing for a long time. He did a great job on the new system. He also helped me with a TV wiring install and new fan wiring. Also, the electrical kept tripping on one side of my house. He fixed that up as well.
It is really hard to find reliable people in this industry, it is nice to find a hard working, honest electrician who really takes pride in his work and is just a genuine guy. You should hire him for projects large and small.

Joe is a masterful electrician who is honest, reliable, and quick. He installed 5 chandeliers, a fan, 2 pendants, and 2 wall sconces in 7 hours. No doubt - hire Joe. Nice guy and quality work!
Man, Joe is a master at his trade. Fast, professional and his work is perfect. He makes sure that his work is completed meticulously. Highly recommend.

Looking for an electrician is like going to the dentist: you know you're going to hate it, but it's still something you have to do. Unless you can perform your own dentistry.
Calling around countless electricians and having them come to the house for an estimate, upon meeting Joe I found him to be no nonsense and laid back. I was needing quite a bit of work done and some of it was a little more intensive, but at no point did I ever get the impression that any part of the work would stump him. He even added some suggestions of his own that made sense. His prices were competitive, he and his partner worked quickly, and the finished product was flawless. He will definitely be my go to guy for future electrical work. Like right now... I'm about to set up another appointment.

Joe Harris worked for us previously as a sub-contractor and did a great job. That is why we called him back to do a small job in our garage (lighting installation and changing washer to a separate circuit). He came out to give an estimate immediately in early December. However he put us off twice for a firm date because he stated that he had another large job and would contact us and never replied. We don't think he wanted our small job - his bid for a few hours work was quite high. Nice man. Competent electrician, but we are very disappointed the way we were dismissed.
Mr. Harris is amazing! I messaged him through Yelp! for a fan install and he answered me promptly and scheduled with me immediately. He was curtious and on time, and finished the install and assembly for me in a matter of minutes! Hands down, one of the most pleasant and stress free business interactions I've ever had with a contractor.

Joe was great! He installed some canned lights in my living room a while back. He helped me decide where they should be placed, added another switch along with fancy dimmers. He was quick, knowledgable & helpful! 5 stars all the way!

Harris Electric is by far the best...we have been remodeling our house for over a year and have worked with several contractors but Joe was fair, honest, diligent & extremely professional. I will continue to refer him to others and he will be our go to electrician from now on!
I needed to upgrade to a 200 amp box and contacted Joe Harris. Very friendly guy who's price was very reasonable. He completed the job and the finish product looked very professional. I plan to use him again for future projects.
Joe is a real professional and does excellent work. He installed some lights in my home and although the project became a lot more complicated than it first appeared; he stuck with it and found ways to work around the problems and it came out great.
I would highly recommend him for all types of home improvement electrical work.

We have hired Joe Harris from Harris Electric on multiple occasions. He has completed small jobs such as adding an outlet to most recently installing the electrical for our solar panel system on our roof. He is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He is very upfront and accurate when it comes to cost and the amount of time a project will take. He is very professional and reliable. All of the work he has done looks great and we have never had a problem. We recommend him to all our friends and family and will definitely be using him in the future.
Joe from Harris electric was great. We had had other electricians try to fix the same electric problems in our house but he was able to do it right the first time! We used Harris Electric for various projects throughout our new house including, can lights, adding ceiling lights to rooms that had none, bathroom fan/lights, and outdoor lighting for our backyard. Joe from Harris Electric was very professional, upfront about pricing and the quality of work was excellent. We will use him again and recommend him to anyone looking for a good reliable electrician.

Harris Electric is a company you can trust! Joe is very professional and friendly. It's hard to find a company you can truly trust, but we have always felt very comfortable with Harris Electric. Joe was very informative and honest. We never felt like he was trying to up-sell us. He takes pride in his customer service and quality of work. Joe has done multiple jobs for us, and we have always been extremely happy with each outcome. We recommend him to anyone looking for an electrician!!
