My previous 40A charger was not working.  I bought a new tesla 48A charger to replace the old one, and I called several electricians for installation.  One of them didn't want to do the work because he thought it would be a lot of work, and most of them didn't even  answer the call.

Ed answered the call and stopped by the next day.  It turns out the previous electrician used inappropriate wires and circuit breaker, and the circuit breaker was failing.

Ed replaced the old wire and the circuit breaker with newer ones that can support the higher current, and installed the new charger fairly quickly.  Ed diagnosed the problem, completed the job, and cleaned up afterwards within an hour. Thanks to Ed, now I can charge my car at home worry-free.

Clearly, Ed has done this type of work numerous times, and I recommend if you need help installing a new charger for your electric vehicle.

I was looking to hire a local electrician (I live in area code 92123) to install an outlet for a new appliance. White Horse Electric responded very quickly and was able to provide good customer service by asking questions/diagnosing my needs in a friendly yet easily understood manner. I had previously been in contact with other electricians who communicated very rudely and came off as you should know better type of conversation. I didn't feel this way at all with White Horse Electric. They were readily available and flexible with their dates and times. The installation was quick, quality, and clean. Additionally, I felt very safe. I will be utilizing them for future projects.

Ron promptly arrived and installed a 50 amp circuit in my garage for a Tesla. He cleaned up afterwards and it looks and works great!

I had a problem with a circuit upstairs in my condo. I called and everyone was super professional but the receptionist didn't want to discuss pricing and left it to the tech.

Orlando shows up at my condo at 3:00pm as expected. I tell him the issue, and show him the breakers and all the CFGI outlets I have and have already reset. He resets the one in my bathroom and repairs my problem with one finger push. I told him that I did that earlier and nothing changed.

He then starts to tell me the itemized total $165.00. This is why I wanted to discuss pricing for everything before he came out. $90 for 30 min of troubleshooting, which he did not need to do because I told him the issue. Also he was not even here for that duration of time. Then I was charged the service fee of 75 dollars, which I was content on paying because ultimately he was able to fix my issue. For some reason everyone dodges the question so that the tech can bend you over later.

Not only did I tell him the problem that I had exactly, I also showed him how to fix it. I'm upset because he was here for less than 5 min of work and didn't need to use any of his tools, yet I was charged a crazy amount.

Then we had an argument about how much it should be, The tech goes on to lecture me in my own home comparing his service to a car locked door situation and it costing 90 dollars for a 5 min job to unlock his car. I'd gladly pay $90 for him to come out and press a button. I had already paid the man. At this point I just wanted him out the house but he just stood there. I had to walk him out. So it is 3:10pm, I thanked him for the fix but expressed that the 90 dollar fee on top of their service charge is unnecessary in this situation and I can be mad about it. I will not be using this company again.

In response to Jerry's reply. If you read the review, he did fix my issue. So i still needed him to come out. And you may want to check you order of operations. The woman on the phone clearly states that the technician will go over pricing with you when he arrives. May want to go back to your recording. Also, if I knew speaking to you was even an option, I would have.  The technician stated he can't do anything else for me as far as the overpriced fee goes. I have no intention of flaming any business. Just sharing my experience. Isn't this what yelp is for? I hope your business still thrives. I have a family to take care of which I am sure you do too. I just won't do it by charging bogus fees. I also won't be lectured in my own living room in front of my family for asking for a more reasonable price. Have a good day Jerry...

Jeff not only got back to my request in a timely fashion, but was able to schedule in a very reasonable time.

We wanted to put recessed lights in our living room, and Jeff really went above and beyond with the install. Very thorough in explaining what needed to be done and why - and the lights came out amazing!

I liked his work so much, and asked if he could add recessed lighting to our kitchen, and bc he had the time, he accommodated that same day!

I appreciate the attention to detail and just the overall professionalism of his service.

Was having problems with lights and outlets going on and off sporadically .
We were concerned that it might be a fire hazard .
We had an electrician friend look at the panel and he said we would probably have to replace the entire breaker box with Main Meter .
That sounded very expensive .
We called Core Electric and they were able to repair the panel without replacing it .
They saved us thousands of dollars and even gave us a great warranty on the repairs !
We will definitely be recommending Core Electric to our friends .

In the process of selling our house last August. We were referred to Jimmy. He came to make sure anything  electrical was up to code for the inspection.  
Quick response & easy to schedule.
Very knowledgeable and friendly .
Continued using him even after the house sold.

I really hate leaving negative reviews but this company (or at least their scheduler) deserves it. The scheduling employee Joan is extremely rude and unprofessional. Clearly has no idea what customer service is. They don't do evenings or weekends and when I gave them a 2 hour window in which I could be home during work they showed up 3 minutes before I had to be back at work and expected me to drop everything. When I tried to reschedule Joan informed me that I must reply immediately and told me that I chose to not be there when they showed up. I'm sorry but people have jobs as well and if scheduling is such a difficult thing for this company then maybe they should hire someone that understands that giving customers attitude is usually bad for business.

Excellent service ! Doug did all our electrical when we built our home many years ago . And recently wired up our new pantry .

We have a very old house, and it seems that there's always something that needs work.  Ideal has helped us with plumbing, electrical and HVAC, and we've never been disappointed.  Their prices are always fair,their team professional and their work always top notch.  Yesterday we had a broken pipe under the house that was spraying water.  They came out right away, advised us what the issue was, and fixed it quickly.  Thanks Ideal!

reasonable price. Can you asked for more? Alfredo impressed me with his knowledge, efficiency and the ability to get the job done as promised. I tend to ask back contractors who do an outstanding job. Brilliant Electric will be on my preferred list for many years to come. As an added bonus, Alfredo was pleasant and courteous from the minute he walked in the door until he left!  I would recommend  him without hesitation!

Good electrical work, bad pricing compared to alternatives.  I used them previously a couple years ago for a new outlet on one side of vanity as well as a small wiring job.  The electrician they sent was professional and competent.  He had to wire through the attic but did so with minimal dry wall damage which was appreciated.  At the time, it was about $300 to get the outlet installed (I do think I charged an extra half hour or so because of a break the electrician took.)  

Regardless, I was happy with the service so when we needed similar work done in our new home along with a couple dimmer switches installed, we decided to contact them again.  What a huge waste of time.  First, we had to make an appt to have someone come give an estimate and then wait several days for an estimate to come back.  When we got the estimate back, it was almost $700!!  This seemed pretty unreasonable for a new outlet (regardless of how complicated the wiring be) and a couple dimmer switches so I contacted several other places for estimates.  I was provided estimates/responses immediately and HALF the price.  And all had availability within the week for the job - no coming for an estimate and then sending estimate later, all to have to reschedule an appt for them to come back to do the actual.  Sorry, but nobody has time for that - if you have a real job.  But maybe the people that can actually afford the work at ZED don't have to work...

Anyway, in short, believe their electrical work is solid but could definitely improve customer service, availability and pricing.

Daniel did a great job with the dedicated circuit we needed for our electric fireplace. It was a challenging job, because of its location, but he was willing to go above and beyond to make it happen.

He's very professional and safety conscious. He also cleaned up the job site so well, you would never know anyone was there. In addition to everything else, communication is great. He is quick to respond to questions & easy to work with.

Do not hesitate to call him!
