We had a service appointment for 5-7pm last Friday June 6th.  (our upstairs AC vents were not blowing properly in our multi zone house).

A lady from the office called us around 6pm to say that our service person was running a bit late as he had to pick up some parts.
**After that phone call...nothing.  
**No service person, no other phone call to let us know what happened.  It's tough being stood up :)

We called the on call number the next day (Saturday) to ask what happened and to get a message to the company.  The on call person was very nice and apologetic and promised to get the message passed on right away.
**Again...no phone call, no communication.  We received no call back.
**We awaited a call from the office on Monday.  
**Again....nothing, no communication from Hay's.

So, yet again, we called.  They didn't apologize nor acknowledge the missed appointment, but they did schedule a service person (who showed up!).

Michael was very polite and courteous.  And- BONUS- he put booties on over his shoes while he was in our house (love that).  
**He said our AC unit was way undersized (it was 4 tons, and we absolutely needed 5 tons) for our house.   This is not the case at all and would not logically explain our issue.  This would not explain why only one zone was not cooling. The other two zones cooled like champs!

This technician then said a comfort specialist would be in touch with us with to discuss remedies.

Out of the blue, another person from Haye's called us, saying he'd read the notes and he wanted to send out someone who specialized in multi zone systems.  The notes did not seem correct to him.
**Why was this not done in the first place?  Our notes from our initial call were very clear that we had a 3 zone house.
**Had this person not happened to read our notes, this would've gone undetected and we'd have gone down a road of repairs that would perhaps not fix our issue.

The zone specialist -Mike-came out today.   He was phenomenal.  (kind and courteous as was the prior technician)
As we initially expected, the problem is with the damper not closing / opening properly.
He was great and we already have the quote and are awaiting scheduling.

Overall, we are disappointed in this experience.  We understand things happen and appointments cannot be kept.  But, this must be communicated.
At the very least, please acknowledge the inconvenience and the issue.  We waited 3 + hours on a Friday night.

Secondly, I'd expect our notes to be read thoroughly and a qualified, multi zone technician be sent out.

There were zero missed calls from Hay's to us.  I have the call logs.
Last communication from Hay's to us was Friday evening around 6pm or so- as i mentioned letting us know the driver had to make a stop for items.
There is no way 6 calls were missed, as they stated.  It's absurd.  
Additionally, why was there no follow up after we phoned the on call service on Saturday?
The fact that we had to keep chasing you down- making yet another call on Monday to find out what's going on is unacceptable.
A no show is acceptable as long as there is sufficient communication.
Please don't state 6 calls were made to us that were unanswered as that's demonstrably false.
Let's pretend that IS true.  Why were there no voice messages left?

Had a small issue in the house I rent.  My landlord sent OX. Eric/Erik not sure, found time to run over and fixed the issue in about 30 minutes!  Thanks again.

One of our air condition units was working over time and almost to the end of it's life cycle.  I had one of their representatives Jerry come out and give us a bid for a new unit.  Jerry was very knowledgeable and easy to work with.  Once we decided to move forward with the new unit, out came Luis, Freddie and Ryan to do the installation.  These three gentlemen were very professional and did an outstanding job.  The hole process was very easy and I would gladly recommend Dukes of Air LLC to anyone that is looking for a great HVAC company to work with.

My family had a problem with the water not working in one of my upstairs shower/bath, they came out and gave a fair quote. They were very knowledgeable and fixed it quickly. I would highly recommend. I will also be reaching out if I need anything else done.

Had a water heater pilot light the wouldn't stay lit. Called Al's Plumbing in the morning, around 7AM. Luckily a technician was available same day at 2PM. Nate showed up on time. He was very friendly and professional and represented the company well. He got the job done efficiently (replaced the thermocouple) for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend.

My kitchen sink was leaking. Pulled out Yelp and they had a strong backing. Decided to give them a call. They fixed that sink issue and a leak in my back yard plumbing that same day. A little pricier than another company, I did not mind. Their responsiveness and communication throughout the entire process was more than worth it. You get what you pay for and they did an amazing  job so I'm very happy!!!!!! I would recommend them to any and all of my family.

American Home had great customer service and Michelle, the sales rep, answered all the questions I had about their systems. Higi, the technician, was very professional and installed the systems in a few hours.

Our AC had froze due to a dirty filter and a dusty backyard  but they came out and fixed it very quickly let us know what was going on how they were gonna help and now our pups and us can relax this summer with AC. Highly recommend!!!

After having a number of plumbing issues at my house and using multiple plumbing companies I'm so happy to have found Sunrise Plumbing.  Nick responded fast and was at my house the within a few hours.  He handled each of my issues - from fixing a leaky toilet to replacing a faucet and installing a hose bib outside.  The quality of workmanship was great and price fair.  It's not often you find a business that really cares about the client.  This is one of those rare cases!

Set up an appointment online in which they came over a few days later to give me a quote. Sadly I bought the wrong item so it couldn't be done immediately but was recommended a better item. He even typed it in my Amazon list so I'd order the correct piece. The second time, the same gentleman came over changed the shower fixtures quickly. Definitely recommend.

Lately I have started all my reviews the same way  Once again my fellow yelpers steered me in the right direction.

Well, they did it again.

I needed a plumber for a few projects in my newly purchased home.

1. Install whole house water softener.
2. Install sink in laundry room where there was none.
3. Install reverse osmosis filter under kitchen sink.
4. Fix two sinks in master bath.

Howard showed up as promised to make the site visit and quote.  He was very personable and easy to communicate with.  He explained well the options and we discussed the best way to go.  i did not feel that he pushed me to a solution I was unfamiliar with or unwilling to take.

The quote came in, not as a formal document, but as a text on my phone.  I might have taken off 1/2 star for this, but I decided the pluses over came this minor faux pas.

At first the quote overwhelmed me until I started looking up prices for the devices he included in the quote and I then soon realized the quote was quite good and I gave to go ahead to move forward.

Howard's guys (including his son) showed up on the day as promised and got all the work done.  The worked a solid 8 hours and I was able to trust them with the house and a checkbook.  The cleaned up their work areas, left the appropriate documents and manuals and all is good in the world.

Once again, I have met a small businessman who is doing a wonderful job providing quality technical service with great customer service.  Howard and his team are now a permanent part of home ownership support team.

Water heaters only, Inc. is an amazing company. We called them because we had an issue with our hot water tank and Don the technician came within an hour and a half and was really quick about replacing our hot water tank. This company specializes in just water heaters. You get a great water heater at a great price with the installation and warranty. We couldn't be happier

FINALLY found a plumbing company I can use again!

First convenience! You can order services online 24/7. You can call (and they actually pick up) and make an appointment and having both options was fantastic.

Second service!  You will get email and text confirmation of your appointment. When it's time for the visit you'll get a text 30 minutes or so in advanced with a picture of the rep AND A LINK FOR LIVE TRACKING OF THE VEHICLE!  I was really amazed to see this. It is so nice to be able to track deliveries on the phone so why not repair people?

Third value!  The repair I needed was a new garbage disposal. Sure I could order one online myself and have them instal it. That would have only saved a little and wasn't worth it. I would have bought an under powered version too. They had the real brand ISE disposals and it was much nicer than what the last plumber installed. They gave me a good price, arrived the next day as promised and it's even quieter to boot.

5 stars, they'll give you a quote for free. Give them a try. Look at all the 5 star reviews,  that's how I found them!

The main water pipe for our house was missing the valve. They came out and fixed it up, including a new hose connector. We also needed the pipes under a sink changed out so we could turn them on and off since we were hooking up an RO/DI system to it for aquarium water generation. Not only did they switch those out, but they also hooked up the RO/DI system to the water and drain; just had me pay for parts and did the work while he was at it. Great service. Great communication. Beat everyone else's quote. Will be a repeat customer whenever we need a plumber! Thanks.

Michael went WAY above and beyond his plumbing and installation duties when we had a hot water tank leak.  He took the time to understand where we were in the process and identified several red flags with our warranty company, the original plumbing company that came out, the restoration company that did the mediation, and the contractor that ultimately no call/no showed to complete the project.  He put us in contact with a reputable contractor after we were stood up, worked with them on the project timing, and everything turned out great.  The name, All Above the Rest says it all.

We called Precision after we saw the owner Eric on TV talking about his business and the special he was having. Leslie (the technician) came out and was awesome. She's been with the company about 10 years and was very knowledgable and thorough. She answered all our questions and was very polite and a pleasure to work with.....Will DEFINITLEY use them again

                    UPDATE!!
      We had an energy audit done to our home....it is 25 years old and we knew we had some issues. One of the list of things to do/fix/replace was the hvac system. We called Precision again and they had an awesome deal going on! So now we have a brand new system at about  1/2 the normal price and the peace of mind that we won't have to worry about it! And it's super quiet!!
