Awesome place. Got keys and key fob done in 30 minutes. These are the best people doing a great service. Highly recommend the place. 40 year business and great to support a local place and it's people.

Was referred here by Kelly's Kawasaki to have a few Keyes cut. After looking at their website I was almost excited to check this place out reading about this long history in the valley. Yes, I was excited to get keys cut - it's a motorcycle!!

I arrived about 15 minutes before closing, feeling like a jerk. The gentleman working welcomes me in, super nice. Had my 3 Keyes cut and returned in only a few minutes. While I was out trying them for fitment he came and offered to put lubricant in all of the locks. No huge deal but a nice courteous touch and I didn't even ask, he just came outside and offered. Also, I didn't realize how much they needed it because they locks are all much smoother now - seriously.

Nice personal touch from a local business. This is the kind of thing you'll never get from a WalMart/Lowe's/Home Depot lock cut.

People were very helpful and know their stuff!  All my questions were answered thoroughly and professionally.

I bought my daughter a used car with only one key.   I bought a replacement key fob online.  It is necessary for it to be programmed and the key to be grinded.  I went to another locksmith in Tempe who assessed that my key fob couldn't be used but offered me one for $250 which I said "no way" and he lowered to $175.  I called the key fob seller who just offered a refund.  
Told him I'd like another opinion. They referred to me a website of reputable locksmiths.  I called one who said they don't not program Volkswagen key fobs and referred me to Al's.  I called and it came to Bob's.  Bottom line they programmed the key fob and ground the key for $85 in about 10 minutes! Very happy and I highly recommend.

Quick response after I messaged on yelp. Quote was straight forward and best price in town. I had purchased my keys from Amazon as I have done before and was looking to just have electronic part of the key programmed. Everyone in town wanted 80-150 while Bob's did it way cheaper. They charge a fee to hook up the machine and only charge more if the keys actually work!

Great service, quick, and the keys work! I'll be back once these two find their way into my washing machine.

I came in to get a quote on replacing the lock on my car after going to a dealership first. Riley was extremely helpful and up front about the cost and gave an accurate estimate of the time required for the maintenance. The quote was about 1/3 of the dealer price. So, I left my car and within 2 hours they had fixed the broken lock. When I returned to pick up my car, they said that the maintenance was even easier than they expected. Thus, they cut the quoted price in half (now 1/6 of the cost per the dealership) because Bob's Locks only charges for the parts and labor.

TLDR, if you're looking to fix a broken lock I highly recommend. This business is fair and does a great job in a timely manner. My experience there was exemplary for how to treat customers right.

They were able to rekey something multiple others lock smiths on the east side were not able to, whole staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Appreciate their quick and quality work!

Forget Home Depot and my old favorite ACE- THIS is the place to go for quick, QUALITY SERVICE, at a very reasonable price. The guys here are knowledgeable and are always able to repair at a fraction of the cost in less time than it would take for me even to get a guy over to answer my questions at the big box stores. As many times as I've been, (about 16 in the last 6 months) I have yet to have had a key or lock problem- sometimes I even thought I would have to "bite the bullet" and buy a new one but they were able to repair at a fraction of the cost or at NO additional COST.

I'm so pleased to have found this business, it's my family's "go-to" I've recommended to everyone I know.

These guys are great. I saved a lot by using them to program a new key fob I had purchased. Way cheaper than anywhere else in town, especially dealerships. I highly recommend them.

Outstanding service. I needed a few keys cut to fit my RV. I couldn't find the blanks anywhere including the RV dealer. Bobs had the blanks and cut the keys I just a few minutes. They will be my go-to place for any lock needs I have.

I am super careful now and asked if changing my lock could be done without any contact. They were great and price was the best. Brain called just before he arrived  I left front door open  and he did the rest. When he called me after he was done he said I also disinfected the door and keys. WOW!!!

Fast and convenient. I had a car key made with inside grooves. This place did a great job and were fairly reasonable.

I have had only 1 key fob for my Nissan, I came across Bob's Locks and Safes and went in on a Saturday. The representative was helpful and answered my questions and my key will be ready in just a few short days!  Very reasonable and now I have peace of mind knowing I have a spare key in case of emergencies.

Had a great experience working with this company , and their employee Ruben. He turned a stressful situation into a phewwwwwww moment. Ruben was patient, professional and persistent . He was able to get into our locked detached garage with some very clever ideas, and kept the cost down as much as possible. I highly recommend Bobs , but you have to request Ruben, he's the BEST! You won't be disappointed!

Very friendly and fast. My dog locked me out of my house in 120 degree heat and they were at my house in less than 30 minutes.  Not more than two minutes after the locksmith got to my house, was I back in my apartment.  The locksmith was very friendly too, considering I pulled him away from whatever he was doing on a Saturday evening.  Cost wasn't too bad either, I just wish I didn't end up in the situation to begin with!

called and spoke to someone whose name i dont remember. tried to charge $150 to make me a new key from the trunk lock which i know takes only 30 minutes, as ive been told so by many other locksmiths. guys is a jackass was completely rude to me and was not straight forward about the services. $150 for a plain metal key is obnoxious. go to harmons safe lock and key in mesa. much better prices and amazing customer service.
