I checked out 3 plumbers and selected Carmel Valley Plumbers to do the repair to my water supply line.  Mark came and did a free estimate (one of the other plumbers wanted to charge $40 just to estimate) and I liked his approach to the repair so he came the next day and did the fix and what really impressed me was when done he said it was a little less work than he'd estimated and reduced the cost accordingly.  Even more, while doing the work he discovered a drain line that had never been properly glued and would have popped off if I'd gotten a backup.  That would have allowed raw sewage to destroy all that's in that storage area below the drain line.  Because I'm handy with some things, Mark (I think he's the owner), described how I could fix it to save some money.
 I now have my go-to plumber.

Prices are high. $165 to scale a tankless  water heater is too much. Installation charge to replace a failing water heater (with plumbing, gas, and electric already in place) was also way too high.

I've had a problem with my storm drains in my backyard. Major root problems. I've had at least 6 different companies check my problem and all wanted to cut the concrete to expose the roots and charge me 1000's of dollars. I got a hold of Carlos at CM Jetting, he came to the house today, and in 3 hrs, cleared all drains. Not for 1000's. $750.00... He is professional, has the latest equipment, cleaned up when he finished, and like me, he loves 70's rock. If you have a drainage issue, don't think twice. Call Carlos.

Drayton came too our house to do a yearly service of water filter under sink and water softener system.  He took care of everything in a short amount of time and answered all questions.  We have been with Rayne for a number of years and are pleased.

Bob is the man! I live on the second floor of lets say a vintage apartment building.  The plumbing is not the best.  After several attempts to clear the line, Bob came to my rescue. I had a tough time with this originally. I had to coordinate with my neighbor to get into their apartment to make sure my clog wouldn't effect their unit.  Honestly its a huge inconvenience, I get it. When I told a friend of my problems, they referred me to Bob at Cobra Rooter. Bob was the only person I called that not only gave me the best ever weekend price I have ever heard but also had the equipment needed to clear the line from my apartment only. I had called several plumbers, who can do the job but for drains use the drain specialist.  Plumbers do pipes, drain specialist do drains.  Bob was fast and super friendly and CLEAN! I can't stress enough the word CLEAN. Honestly the pipes are working better then they have the entire time I have lived here.

Jonathan located our leaks within the minimum time period. We had previously tried another company that searched for 3-1/2 hours without finding anything. He appeared to be very skilled with the equipment, and his knowledge and experience were obvious. He was friendly and professional, and he wore a face mask the entire time he was here. Even though it was near dark, he went under the house and repaired the leak that was the most problematic. We were very happy with his work and would not hesitate to recommend him.

A week ago I reached out because our guest toilet (that my 3 yr old uses on most occasions) was clogged up and no amount of plunging would fix the issue so I text Nick and he got back to me very quickly and was able to come out same day.

He worked efficiently and was very professional and was able to solve the problem... somehow one of my daughters thought Owlette (a small action figure) belonged down the toilet ‍ ... I guess I'm just glad there wasn't a bigger issue lol. Thank you Nick! I will definitely be calling him for any future problems we have!

After a few years, more things needed fixing.  I called Top Notch again based on my first experience. I am happy to say nothing has changed. Gordon, the owner, showed up early for the appointment. The kitchen sink faucet replacement while not necessarily a hard job had enough trickiness involved that I am glad I called in a professional. He took care of a clogged pipe as well. Again the time it took to do the job was reasonable as was the cost.  I am a very satisfied customer and will continue to use Top Notch.

***BUYER BEWARE*****  

I spoke to Devin in late December as I had a leak in a pipe that was accessible through the stucco of the exterior of my home.  Devin assured me that they were a 1 stop shop.  They could fix the leak and re-stucco the wall.   His partner even said you wouldn't even know we were here.   If this business had comedians, it would get 5 stars.    This was the biggest lie I was ever told.  

Day 1 Devin's team shows up late.   They cut open the wall and then assess the issue.   They then took at least 5 trips to Home Depot for parts. After hours of trying to correct the problem, they had to admit they did not know what they were doing and call what I am hoping was a real plumber to finish the job.   This took almost 10 hours.

The following day, they again showed up late, and knowing they were there to do stucco work, they still had to make a trip to Home Depot.   When I went to check to see how the work was going, I could tell they had no idea what they were doing.   They had retrieved a Lucky Charms box out of the recycle can and were using it as a trowel to apply the stucco and to get it to stick to the wall.  

I was told by his brother that they would be back the next day to paint.   They had even gone to Home Depot again and got matching paint.    Well, I contacted Devin because they didn't show up the next day.   Devin told me they need the stucco to dry, and they would be by to paint in a few weeks.   We'll that has now turned into 4 months.   The stucco is awful. There are cracks everywhere from where they applied it.    

I did get ahold of Devin once since and he promised me that he would come out himself to look at the issue.    Well, he was a no-show to our appointment.  

I attempted to settle this issue privately and allow Devin to remedy this situation.  Yet Devin continues to ignore my calls and texts.  

Please save your hard earned money and time and if you have a plumbing issue select someone who is more reputable and takes pride in their work.

I had an emergency clogging issue and although Almco Plumbing schedule was already full, they were kind of enough to squeeze me in as their last customer for the same night even though it was already late. Before contacting Almco Plumbing, I already had two plumbers came and snake the pipes which only provided a temporary band-aid for the issue. Most plumbers would just snake and hope for the best. Vlad was different from all the other plumbers because he assessed the issue thoroughly.  He used a camera to determine what the root cause was. He also honored the free camera assessment as advertised! He explained my plumbing issue in a way that I would understand by showing the video recording to explain the issue which I really appreciated. Vlad was professional, punctual, and I am sure he can assist you with all your plumbing needs! Thank you again!

Give this company two thumbs up for the services. We were glad we found the good one. We got several quotes for Repiping our house, but simpex provided us with good offers and reliable services. Dante was excellent with his quotes. They finished everything in 2 days, one day Repiping the entire home, and the second day is patching the walls.

KC and his entire crew are awesome!  They are so professional, courteous, quick to respond, and trustworthy.  I have been working with KC now for a few years and the experience is consistent every time. I had an emergency very early this morning and a few months ago and I received an immediate call back and someone out to my house to fix the problems asap.  They do very good work at really good prices, very fair!  I highly recommend them!
