In and out in under 20 mins to fix my flickering light switch. Turns out my panel has some bad whatchacallit that were frying the circuit breaker. They noticed a few other breakers were also showing signs of distress/burning so replaced and move the circuit breakers to other parts of my panel. Fast and efficient!

They installed recessed lighting in my home. They took longer than quoted and tried to charge me for time spent going to supply store to get the supplies they forgot to bring and time they took for lunch breaks. Aside from that, the outcome turned out nice.

Jake did a fantastic job with our three doors (two needed fixing and one needed to open outward instead of inward). He was efficient, and the result was was exactly what we wanted. James and Hope were also great with communicating throughout the process, including moving up the dates when openings came up earlier. Overall I would highly recommend Diablo Valley Handyman for any repair or handywork jobs. We are extremely satisfied!

When my tenant moved out of my rental unit, the track lights in the 17 foot ceilings were not working. I called in the morning and Brett had a team out in the afternoon. They guys were great and fixed the problem quickly. Would definitely hire again for any electrical needs.

Ike's has done great work for us. We've given him repeat business for a reason, and we will continue to come back to him. Prompt, friendly, professional, skilled, and great value! We trust him completely.

Nice guys and very knowledgable. Our job ended up being more complicated than they expected because an old house always holds surprises. But they stuck with their estimate and we felt they gave us a great price for the project.

This review should be taken with a grain of salt because I didn't have any actual electrical work done, but I had a phenomenally helpful phone call. I'm looking at buying a house, but it needs some old electrical equipment replaced. The seller tried to convince me it's going to cost $5000, but Allen (at Pierce Electric) gave me a lot of very helpful information and explained that to make the house safe from electrical fires will be much more expensive. The one phone call I made to Pierce Electric may well have just saved me from $20,000 in expenses and months of legal battles after I bought my house.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I blew a circuit breaker using a blow dryer late on a Sunday eve and had no power in my master bdrm and bath. It would have made Monday morning a nightmare! TEK was one of the few electricians open and willing to come out, and Keith arrived at my house early, within 45mins of my call and speaking to Tyra. He and his Assistant were professional, courteous, quick, and so gracious in educating me and my boyfriend on the cause and how to fix the issue if it happens again. They even went and bought the right part from Home Depot at no additional charge to me. I highly recommend TEK!

Arturo came out today to install a new flush mount and repair a closet light. They were super friendly, fast, and reasonably priced. They did a great job. Highly recommend!

I can't say enough good about them. They have worked on two projects for me and I would never think to call anyone else. John and his crew are polite, clean and extremely competent. I highly recommend them!

We had a list of things to do in our place including a tricky shower faucet replacement, curtain installations and caulking. Mike did an excellent job of figuring out the best method and materials for the shower faucet. We mistakenly misled him on the brand of existing faucet, but he was very accommodative and figured out a way to fix it. He installed the curtains in a jiffy and fixed the mess we made on our walls when we tried it ourselves. During the day we added couple of other small things to the list which he accommodated in the schedule. We expressed interest in trying out the caulking work ourselves, so he did the difficult part of meticulously removing the older caulking and taught us the steps on how to do the new one ourselves. He also followed up few weeks later on whether we ran into any issues. Overall, we were very happy with the work he did and were impressed with his skills and professionalism. We are happily recommending him to our friends in the area.

I added a shed and started looking for electricians. I found Divine Electric while I'm sure they do good work, also charge an arm and a leg for very simple electrical needs.
I found Ed Electric and they came out on time and right away. They reasonably priced and quickly and efficiently completed the job. They were on point, great work and I didn't have to sell a limb to pay for it. I highly recommend these guys.

Jesus has done a great job for us on several projects! He replaced a Zinsco sub-panel for a very reasonable price and also installed 2 hanging light fixtures, replaced a broken dimmer switch, and installed 2 ceiling fans (including one on high vaulted ceilings). He's very communicative, professional, punctual, and friendly.

Victor did an excellent job with some recent electrical work we needed. This project was to add a washer & dryer to a 3rd floor unit in a 100+ year old building in SF. We initially thought we needed a panel upgrade for the new circuit. During his initial visit to provide an estimate he was by far the most knowledgeable of the electricians, and he walked us through the pros and cons of what our options were. Most electricians weren't interested in the job or gave outrageous quotes. We ended up finding a solution that was workable and didn't require an extensive amount of work, the whole project only took one day (with a lot of work on tall ladders). Communication was great via text or call when needed.
I'd definitely use Victor again for any future electrical work.

Okay, here's the scoop: I'm giving the entire Schulkamp organization 6 stars!
After a recent bathroom remodel we decided the 4 recessed LED ceiling fixtures had to go.
We didn't like the stark, blue-light of the LED type and figured we had to replace the whole fixture...which we thought meant going into the attic crawlspace, pulling the old hardware and installing new fixtures to get the warmer incandescent light we wanted. I'm retired and the thought of trying to go into a cramped attic to change electrical fixtures wasn't in the cards.
I literally called 5 different electrical shops around Daly City and basically got blown off because the job was either too small...or we didn't get a return call at all.
Then we got a return email from Michael Crucia at Schulkamp.
He was their project coordinator and immediately said No problem...we'll send Mark, the owner, over to have a look. The next day, Mark showed up, took one look and said You only need to replace the trim fixture to get the lighting effect you want...I have one in the truck to show you! He popped one out...stuck the other in, and it was perfect. He said going into the attic wasn't necessary and it would take about 5 minutes to swap out the other 3, and he'd have someone drop by the next day to finish the job.
Next morning, at 8AM, Morgan and Ed showed up (great guys...friendly, professional, funny and FAST). They were in and out in about 5 minutes and now we have 4 great looking warm-glow fixtures in the bathroom.
Here's my take away - When every other firm in Daly City basically blew us off, Schulkamp not only responded immediately, the owner himself came by and pretty much saved us a bundle by pointing out a quick, inexpensive and easy-to-do fix for our problem and he did it with enthusiasm and a smile. Then Schulkamp sent over a couple of great guys who pretty much gave us VIP service in under 10 minutes. It was a jaw dropper.
Look, if you're retired and can't climb a ladder anymore or have anything to do with electrical issues around your house...do yourself a favor and call Mark Schkamp and don't bother with being jerked around by the guys who won't even call you back.
If you're lucky, Mark will send Morgan and Ed over and it'll be a great experience.
Vote for Schulkamp 2016!
