Robert did an amazing job installing my home audio and video.  He set up surround sound in my huge living room, safely mounted my TV on the wall and sourced the best Audio for me to use.  He went so far as to connect everything seamlessly, and even gave me a full lesson on how to run it all!  He was very communicative, thoughtful, considerate and mindful when working with me on how I wanted to approach this project.  He left the job done with out a mess and working perfectly.  I would highly recommend Bulterman Electric over all others in the Bay Area!

Shout out to Jonathan and his colleague (I didn't catch her name) for being amazingly helpful. We showed up close to closing time with two tired kids in tow. Jonathan immediately offered to help and patiently walked us through some great options - he has a wonderful eye for design and was able to recommend lighting styles we hadn't considered. Most importantly, he could explain why certain things would work in our space (or not). Meanwhile, his colleague grabbed our kids paper, pencils, and water so we could focus. There was no pressure at all to buy - he sent us home with some tear sheets and encouraged us to mull it over in the space. We can't wait to go back and buy from these guys!

I order the job through Yelp. He came and he couldn't fix the problem. He left backyard light area open after the dig and mess up the electrical. Still he charged.

They came out and installed a light for us. Very straight forward about the price, and the electrician seemed knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend and call again.

I needed an executive chair assembled, toilet seat changed, horizontal blinds changed in one window, hinges adjusted on kitchen cabinet doors.  Ben responded quickly to my request to schedule and came the next morning to do the work.  He was friendly, personable, knowledgeable, efficient.  His rates were reasonable.  Great experience.  He's a wonderful find.  So glad I took a chance on him.

Mike was great, On time and jumped right in. He was able to realize that my old garbage disposal was just jammed, so I did not need to install a new one. He also installed a faucet quickly and noticed a bad pipe that I did not notice, but was about to be a huge plumbing problem. He told me what parts I needed while he was installing the faucet I went to a hardware store and was able to get the correct replacements which he installed even though that wasn't the reason I originally called him for. Great to find a local handyman like him and will use him again for sure.

Responded quickly to my evening e-mail after a power outage in about half the circuits in our old home, and then called me first thing in the morning to follow up.  Before coming out, he insisted that I check in with PGE first, talk to a live person and get an immediate service check to make sure the problem was on the home side and not the PGE side.  I was dubious, (how could the problem be on the PGE side when half my circuits still had power?) but I called, PGE came, wires were blown in their control box, they repaired it and problem solved. Thank you Carlos!

I'm glad I contracted with Wire Tech for replacement of my master and sub electrical panel! Olvin and his partner were great. They worked quickly, but with detail-oriented and methodical approach to identify systemic problems relating to my primary concern. They addressed these issues without a change order or raising the project estimate.

Olvin started and completed his work precisely when he said he would. They cleaned the area thoroughly once they were finished, and were courteous and professional throughout the duration of the project.

I'd be happy to work with them again!

Tom is very punctual, professional, reasonable and caring. I requested a quote from him a day before (Saturday) received a call within minutes. Tom came the next day (Sunday). I've never received service like that on a weekday. I would highly recommend Tom and his company to Everyone I know and hope to have him around for the future.

LHP was recommended to me as Yong did some work for my daughter.  I left a message around 2 pm, he called me right back.  Took of picture of what I wanted in install.  He gave me a quote and said he can be here within the hour.  He literally was done by 3:20 pm installing my light fixture and changing my light switch.  Awesome service.

I had a minor issue at the house, which was to figure out why the doorbell from the outside wasn't working in one flat, but it worked for the other.  John came by on relatively short notice (which I greatly appreciated) and figured out the problem that another electrician couldn't (over the course of three hours!).  He not only identified the issue, he finished inside an hour and a half, and that included a quick run to get a part he didn't have.  Nice guy.  He's actually from San Francisco (rare), comes from a family of electricians, and definitely knows his stuff.  Would absolutely use him in the future and his rates are very reasonable.  

I saw a one star review and couldn't imagine John and his team leaving a mess or being unprofessional.  He absolutely knew what he was doing and explained what was going on well.  

As of this review, he only had ten reviews, but don't let the lack of review volume deter you from at least reaching out and getting an estimate from him!

We had another great experience with Williams Electric. Our furnace was not running and it appeared to be an electrical issue. Williams Electric came out and resolved the problem (bad breakers) in about 10 minutes. No-nonsense, fast and thorough. Five stars is not enough.

We originally hired Carlos Jr. to replace some lighting in our kitchen after my wife saw a post of his work on Facebook. When he came over to do the job he brought his father along with him and we got to talking about how we wanted to remodel eventually. Carlos Sr. as it turns out had years of experience so we ended up hiring him and his crew to do our remodel and we couldn't be more pleased. They completely renovated our 1990's kitchen/master bathroom as well as laid down hardwood flooring downstairs. They also completely replaced the wood beneath the carpet in our master bedroom because the builders of the house didn't have it up to spec.

Dealing with them was an absolute delight. Great communication and had some great ideas for us when we would kinda get stuck in deciding what we wanted. A lot of it was on the fly and they were extremely patient. They spent hours in the store with my wife when she was trying to pick out flooring and went to Oakland to pick up all the stuff for our bathroom. We really appreciated the fact that it was always the same 4-5 guys at the house instead of seeing new faces every day. It got to a point that we trusted them so much we just gave them a key to the house.

As far as their work all I can say is we are 120% satsfied. They took so much time and care with everything. We had a little work done by somebody else and the craftsmanship looked amateurish compared to Carlos and the guys. I still remember when our new appliances got delivered and Carlos Sr. went over every single square inch of every item to ensure there were no scratches. The pride they take in their work is unmistakable.

I'd post some pics but a lot of our renovation  is already posted on this page. I will not hesitate in the future to hire them again. There is a certain level of comfort you can't put a price on knowing your project is in good hands with truly great people.

Samson came the same day we called, and arrived right at the scheduled time. He was very neat, always took shoes off inside and vacuumed up dust. But more importantly, he really took his time to think through the best way to get some new outlets and lights into some difficult places. After installing 9 new outlets, there was an issue with one outlet and he came back the next day after we called to ensure his work. We've already used him again and are happy to have found our go-to electrician and general contractor.

Pete came out on a Sunday to evaluate my situation which was a bit tricky. He confidently assessed how we could best upgrade my panel from 100 to 200amps. I had urgency in getting the upgrade and Pete had someone on site the next day to start and complete the job. Highly professional, great communication, the best of local service. Highly recommend PJ Erwin Electric.

This summer was unusually hotter than in prior years so I finally decided to add central air conditioning. I immediately learned the pre-existing 100 amp electrical panel installed back in the 1970's didn't have a spare breaker that could be dedicated to the condenser. In fact, the panel was essentially at capacity, and needed to be upgraded. In the process of evaluating my options, I received various bids through Yelp and Home Advisor.

Brandy is command central with H5 Electric and voice of the company. She provided prompt and sufficiently detailed responses to my project, including a reasonable proposal. In addition to removing and replacing the old panel, I asked H5 to also include installation of the disconnect and a service receptacle for the A/C unit, and complete wiring for an EV Charger.

Troy and his crew arrived early (by 7am) and installed a new 200-amp main with new breakers; including new pipe, wire, weather head & roof jack. With the power shut off and wiring exposed, it was practical and logical to have the experts at H5 run the additional wiring for the A/C instead of the HVAC contractor. As requested, H5 also ran a 240V/50A circuit from the new main service panel across the attic to a NEMA 14-50 rainproof outlet to the side of the house along the garage for the EV outlet.

The job was completed by middle of the day and the work is impressive! Thank you, H5 Electric!

If you are thinking of hiring an electrician for any job big or small, look no further than Mopia Electric! We recently undertook a major (for us) renovation on a recently purchased older home and hired Randy Mopia to re-wire over half the house along with installing a new panel and sub-panel. We could not have been happier with him and his team, Juan and Jose! Randy was the most professional of all the tradesmen I dealt with as a contractor for my own home- he explained every step and gave me options as we moved forward, plus he is very personable and friendly (as are his employees).
Randy and Co. showed up on time and were about their business in  rapid fashion- they also put up with my last minute changes without blinking an eye. We have Phase 2 of our renovation planned for the future, and I wouldn't even think of hiring anyone but Mopia Electric to do it- neither should you!

Professional, friendly, knows his stuff.
He reconnected my 220v dryer outlet to use for my EV car charging. Also, he chased down a faulty ground connection in my 110v circuit.

No professional electrician is cheap. Find someone who gets it right the first time and is customer oriented. For me that is Bryan. Will use again.

These excellent guys got so few five-star reviews? LOL, they are too low profile. I'm a reator and they are so far the best I have worked with. This time, they did a smaller project for our own home.
They don't charge the cheapest ( I have quoted several good-reviewed licensed electricians), but they are not the most expensive too. Price is just one thing, the more important thing is:
1. They are super professional. Eveey details had been taken into consideration. And their crew is very clean, always clean up any mess after working day. Very polite too.
2. They are very creative. There are several non-standard problems, and they are the only person who proposed perfectly work-around solution. I like that they are sharing their much knowledge and experience with me, instead of saying simply no or doing larger disruptive project to our walls and current electrical system.
3.  Very easy to work with. The owner Gustavo is funny to talk with:) and Alfanso is very responsive, always explain to me about details and different options. And document them as much as possible to keep us on the same page. ( we change our requirements for several times)

Highly recommend if you need a professional and respectful electrician.

This company will not follow through. He doesn't show up for scheduled repairs and continues to make excuses.
