Phenomenal service, super responsive, beautiful results. Costs ended up about $800 higher than I'd expected but given the collaboration, the great design support and the excellent customer service, I'm happy.

We have been renovating our 1955 house. The wiring was the original wiring and was not grounded. We wanted to rewire the whole house and bring it up to modern code, as well as upgrading the service to 200 AMPS.
We got two quotes. Byron from Flash Electrical was very punctual, which is a wonderful quality when working with contractors. He was also very careful to explain everything and the process.

Byron offered us a very competitive quote, when we said that we would do the dry wall patching ourselves. We went with Flash Electric and were very pleased with their work. Each day the house was left very clean! The 2 onsite workers spoke primarily Spanish, but if we had any questions Byron was always very responsive. He also responds to texts, which is so convenient.

We passed the inspections and are very happy with Byron and Flash Electrical's work! We'd highly recommend his team.

We hired JMO to install outdoor flood lights and a garage outlet. Communication was very good starting with the quote, scheduling of the work and finally the work date itself. Javier and his crew were very punctual and respectful of the circumstances with Covid (they all work masks and wore coverings over their shoes when they entered our home) and asked questions when they needed our input. The work itself was conscientiously done, taking into account beams in our garage and limiting the access through walls. The work was finished quickly and efficiently. The pricing was good and we felt satisfied that we received quality work at a good value. We would certainly use JMO again and highly recommend their services.

I can't say enough about the great experience I had with Berkeley Home Repair. First of all, their prices. I originally called them about paint that was flaking off at the bottom of my chimney, in a bedroom. Brian correctly diagnosed the problem as cracks around the roof flashing and at various points on the chimney. The quote they gave to fix the repairs, was, in the words of my real estate agent, a steal, so I hired them to fix it. Brian took care of the problem promptly and I haven't had a problem since. I would hire them again in a hot second for any other contracting work around my home.

Called Yevgeny about a hot water heater issue we had. We didn't end up using him as we needed a replacement immediately and he couldn't do it for a few days, but he walked me through the problem via text, and was very helpful and courteous. I will definitely go with him the next time I have an issue.

Horacio and Edwin installed electrical outlets throughout my home today. They were on time, cleaned up after themselves, and most importantly checked to make sure each outlet was in working order. I have used Arc Electric several times now and I am always impressed with their ability to get the job done in a timely manner. I will always call them first, to take care of my electrical needs.....

We have a 1956 house that had original knob and tube wiring. Unfortunately, we also have a low attic and some access problems. I called three electricians and one didn't show up, one was completely overwhelmed by the scope of the project and the access issues and the final electrician was Alex, who walked in calmly and noted all the details on his clipboard. He provided a fair quote and his team was able to start slightly earlier than we'd hoped. His crew was on time and kept a clean space, important when two people are working from home! Even a painter I hired to touch up some spots noted that the crew's work was careful and clean. The city signed off on the work and had no questions or concerns.

I wouldn't hesitate to hire Alex and Eminent Electrical again and highly recommend them to anyone needing electrical upgrades.

We have a partial power outage in our house.  Alex came within 30 minutes, and correctly diagnosed the problem.  He also came in and installed a part on our roof needed to hold the wires securely.  The service was prompt, the prive was reasonable, and communications were clear.  Great service and I would recommend Alex to others.

What a great guy.  At 3pm on a Saturday I powerwashed the front deck which somehow send a torrent of water into one of our walls and down into the main circuit panel in our basement. There were lots of sparks and a complete shutdown of the electrical system for the house. The next morning we were hosting our 8 year olds birthday.  Water and Electricity are above my fixit comfort zone and dying wasn't part of my plan so rather than tackle it myself I turned to Yelp and found Petre. He agreed to come over in 45 minutes, took apart the system and fixed all of the shorts while I stood with a hairdryer drying breaker switches. All on a Saturday. He was heroic. And he is a damn nice guy. Thanks Petre. The Birthday Party was a success.

PG&E replaced our meter due to some issues we'd been having with power fluctuations. The new meter didn't fully resolve the issue.  We contacted Got Watts who discovered that we had an arcing breaker which was practically soldered into place.  We ended up replacing all of the breakers for a reasonable price.  (We weren't scared into replacing the rest of the breakers and didn't feel pressured in any way.  We simply felt it was the safest thing to do given the age/condition of the other breakers.)  We were very pleased with Got Watts' professionalism, service and pricing and would recommend them to anyone needing an electrician.

The fact that they were able to come out the next day and fix my light switches in less than 15 minutes is truly impressive! Their professionalism and expertise are truly commendable. I needed an EV charging station installed in our garage and decided to call Walsh Electric. Adam walked us through the work that needed to be done and made a competitive offer for the work.

These guys really helped out when I needed it. Dan came out and looked at my system at the end of his workday even though he could've pushed it out to another day. I met Jeff as a neighbor and when I found myself in need of an electrical contractor to pull permits and bring some work up to code for a kitchen and bathroom remodel, Jeff was able to help me out without any issues.

I understand he can be fairly busy (he's only one guy after all) but if he can do the work in the timeframe you need it done, his attention to detail and encyclopedic knowledge of the minutae of the electrical codes is well worth it -- both in the execution and in the all-important event of dealing with the inspector.

I will be using Jeff until he finally decides to hang up his wire strippers.
